Crepine - fringe worn with a French hood

Diplois - a cloak

Dossal - a rich ornamented cloak worn by persons of high rank

Grandarde - part of ancient armor; worn by knights when on horseback

Jornet - a kind of cloak

Kirtle - a tunic, gown, or jacket

Muffetee - a small muff worn over the wrist

O'erlay - a girth; a cloak

Paltock - a kind of doublet or cloak which descended to the middle of the thigh

Pampilion - a coat of different colours, formerly worn by servants

Yanks - leathern or other leggings worn by agricultural labourers, reaching from below the knee to the top of the highlow (i.e., an ankle-high laced boot)

Annular - Ring-shaped.

Burden of Disease - The physical, psychological, social, and economic impact of a disease on a person, family, institution, or society.

Cosmesis - Preservation, restoration, or enhancement of physical beauty; surgical correction of a condition or the cosmetic improvements made after surgery.

Debridement - A procedure in which dead or infected skin is removed to promote wound healing.

Ecchymosis - A discolouration of the skin usually caused by bleeding underneath the skin (sometimes caused by a bruise).

Infarcts - Interrupted blood supply causing blackness of dying tissue.

Lichenification - Area of thickening of the skin caused by chronic scratching. The normal skin lines are easier to visualize.

Macule - A well-defined area with a change in skin color. It is totally flat. If one runs their finger over the area it cannot be felt.

Malodorous - Having an unpleasant smell.

Petechiae - Small (pinpoint-sized) red, purple, or brown spots caused by bleeding.

Photodistributive - A pattern of changes to the skin caused by excessive sun exposure.

Purpura - A bleeding into the skin causing small red areas (Petechia) or large red areas (Ecchymosis).

Telangiectasia - Prominent, dilated superficial blood vessels.

Violaceous - Purple skin colouration.

Wheal - A localized swelling of the upper portion of skin. This is usually pink and itchy.
