It's Cole's birthday, so I decided on a whim to run a promo for a week! (Note, this doesn't affect Amazon pricing, but I did also request a promo from them. No guarantee if/when they'll catch up.)
Some platforms take longer than others to catch up, so if you go to purchase it and it isn't 99cents yet, check back later. (Or head to my Payhip store, juleskelleybooks, and use the coupon QUEERFAM to get it for free.)

Thanks for the tag!! I have alot more on the tag bi4bi books!
Hi! Do you have any recs for books that include M/F bi4bi romance? Thank you!!!
Hi! I have an m/f tag for all things queer m/f (bi, trans, a-spec...), but I think the only bi4bi m/f book I've read was before I started posting here: Edge of the Woods by Jules Kelley.
Anyway, check out the bi4bi tag at @the-bi-library and you will find many more. <3

hey, can I get a vibe check on my possible new author bio?
"Jules Kelley is a minor cryptid with frequent sightings in the Southeastern US, most recently in central Florida. Legend has it they can be lured into the open with promises of rollercoasters, cute animals, or novelty foods. Their lair can be identified by collections of dice, video games, books, and the fine layer of cat hair covering everything. They also can be found on most social media platforms under the alias juleskelleybooks, and more of their writings can be found on their website, juleskelleybooks.com"

You will find a few things about our main character today, hope you enjoy the reading, as always, if you find english mistakes, please tell me so I can correct it.
Have a good time and I swear I'll come back faster this time.

Y/N Jackson’s Point of View
The elevator ride to Julie’s room was quiet, with nobody daring to make a noise. I was thinking about what I would tell her to try and make things better, I know she doesn’t like lies, but I know that she wouldn’t like what I was doing at that pub too, so when we enter the hotel room I try to go and sit next to the veterans, but she’s quicker and make me take a seat in a chair in front of everybody.
-Are you telling us what were you doing at the pub, Torres? –Julie asks.
I try to find some help in my friends’ faces, but all I see is four more pissed off women and that is really scary if you ask me. Because of that, I make some time to put my hair in a ponytail and just scan the room and my options.
-I was in a meeting.
-A meeting? –She asks in disbelief.
-Yes, a meeting. You know, I’m in my last semester in college and I need to figure out what I’m doing after that, so I was discussing the possibilities with the captain of my battalion.
-And do you want me to believe that of all the places and times for this kind of meeting he scheduled it there?
-Yes, I mean, he suggested that we didn’t need to reschedule because I was off-campus for camp and then asked if I knew an informal place to talk and spend a couple of hours. –I tell her, what is half-true; I did meet with someone to discuss my future moves, just not with my captain.
-Care to tell me what you have decided then?
-I’m making an agreement with the air force; I will work for them in the offseason.
I saw her relaxing at my words, believing what I just said. Crystal, Moe, and Sam smiled after hearing it too; on the other hand, Lindsey arched her eyebrow at me while giving me her classical “I don’t believe a bit in what you’re saying” glare. Ignoring her I look to the veterans just sitting there confused as fuck with the conversation and reactions. Alex decides that’s a good time to speak.
-So somebody cares to explain what’s going on?
-Oh, it’s just something personal, don’t worry about that. –I say.
-Judging from their reaction I’m already worried, so spill.
-There’s just a place Julie doesn’t like that I used to go to.
-Why? –Ali questions looking at me.
-I… - I look at Lindsey for help as I know is Julie is pissed off with me yet.
-It’s just a place that has some big fights sometimes, so a bit dangerous to go there alone, just as she used to. – Lindsey finally speaks and I breathe with relief.
-For Julie’s reaction it doesn’t seem just like it. – Alex adds.
-But it is, Lindsey’s right, it’s just a dangerous place to go alone. – I say.
The girls are quiet for some time until Kelley tilts her head with an inquisitive look and questions me “Did you say air force?”
-Oh, yes, I’m a part of ROTC for the Air Force, they pay for my tuition.
-But that’s training for reserve officers and you said that you will work for them in the off-season. – Said, Ashlyn.
-You’re right Ashlyn, it’s training for reserve officers, but, they decided to prepare me to fly jet fighters and I know how to fly a specific one that they’re scarce of pilots right now, so they’re giving me the option to make it official and become a pilot for them.
-And you said yes to that offer…? – Said, Crystal.
-Yes, Dunn Dunn. I said yes, you’ll see me more wearing the uniform. – I blink at her.
-Okay, but it doesn’t explain why you thought it would be okay to fight three guys alone yesterday. – Julie says angrily.
-Jules, I know how to protect myself, I could take care of them and protect the girls, it is what I did, everything’s okay, you don’t need to worry.
-You promised me you wouldn’t do it again.
-I know, I know, but it happened, I couldn’t let them be in this case, okay?
-Guys, I think you two should talk alone later about it, we need to go to the conference room to video session now. –Sam spoke to the room.
-You’re right, let’s go. – Said Julie looking at everyone but me.
I slowly let the air in my lungs go, trying to relax a bit after the tension, it wasn’t a good impression at the first minutes, but okay, it is what it is. I told them to just go that I would use the bathroom before leaving to the conference room. When I left the bathroom I thought that I was alone, but Lindsey was waiting for me at Julie’s bed.
-You know that I don’t believe a word you said earlier, right?
-Linds, thanks for the save earlier, I didn’t know what to say.
-It’s hard to believe when you receive training to this.
-You know you can’t mention this thing here.
-You’re running from the elephant in the room.
-Sorry, I know you didn’t believe, but it was the truth.
-Torres, I know you more than Julie does and I’m sure you know why. Don’t try to lie to me because I’m only one that knows everything and won’t believe your weak words. Who were you meeting at the bar? Were you fighting? What was it really about?
-I didn’t completely lie, okay? –I told her in a hushed tone. –I was talking with Dave, planning the next steps.
-Which are…?
-I will secure a place at Vallory whilst I finish college and play at the national level. I will make it official with the Air Force, I need to have an escape if needed. I will sign to drafts too.
-So you will follow along with the plan Julie made you swear you would forget.
-I need to find who killed my family, you know it.
-And then? When you go, break Julie’s heart, become a top national player, a high ranked officer, win Vallory, find who killed you family, what are you gonna do? Murder them too? You become a murderer? Is that it? – She told me with angry.
-Almost on point, Linds. I love Julie, I won’t break her heart. – I say.
-I love Julie. – She mocks me. –If you really love her, you should think about your next steps, because how you’re taking care of things right is hurting her. These bruises, they aren’t just from yesterday.
-No, three days ago, I had my first fight at the red zone, I won.
-When’s the next one?
-Next week, after the game against Canada.
-You’re unbelievable, Y/n. Let’s go to the conference room before they come looking for us. Our conversation doesn’t end here.

1995. A young woman. Her boyfriend's ex-girlfriend. The small Alabama town neither of them can escape. And a ghost. Lilly Ann Guthrie is living with a man she isn't married to; she can't hold down a job, and she can't sit in a moving vehicle without having a panic attack. It isn't the life she once imagined for herself, but she can't complain. She has a roof over her head and food on her table, and she doesn't owe either of those things to her only living relative, an aunt whose disdain almost makes her wish she'd died in the same car wreck that claimed her brother and parents. So it could be worse. But in late summer, life decides it has other ideas. Her boyfriend's infamous ex, Jolene, comes back to town and turns everything on its ear, including Lilly's ability to be satisfied by her current circumstances, and strange things start happening around her house. Voices in empty rooms, fleeting glimpses of someone in her peripheral vision. Is she on the verge of losing everything, including her mind, or is she standing on the precipice of having even her most secret wishes granted?

ABC NEWS PRESENTS MONTH-LONG COVERAGE IN HONOR OF PRIDE MONTH, INCLUDING NEW ‘SOUL OF A NATION’ SPECIAL SPOTLIGHTING THE TRANSGENDER COMMUNITY, FEATURING EXCLUSIVE BROADCAST INTERVIEW WITH OSCAR®-NOMINATED ACTOR ELLIOT PAGE
‘The Freedom to Exist – A Soul of a Nation Presentation’ Airs Tuesday, June 6 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EDT), Next Day on Hulu
ABC/Richard Harbaugh* To honor and celebrate Pride Month, ABC News will have month-long coverage highlighting the LGBTQ+ community, including a one-hour primetime special from ABC News Studios’ Emmy® and GLAAD Award-winning series “Soul of a Nation” with “The Freedom to Exist.” “The Freedom to Exist” will take an in-depth look at the transgender community and features a broadcast exclusive interview with Oscar-nominated actor Elliot Page, who bravely came out as transgender in 2020 and was the first openly trans man to appear on the cover of TIME Magazine. With the release of his new book, “Pageboy: A Memoir,” Page discusses his difficult journey to standing in his truth and how he hopes to champion inclusivity in Hollywood. The conversation, which includes audio excerpts from his memoir, also unpacks sexuality and gender identity.
The special will report on the state-wide bans across the country and how they are impacting families and conversations in schools; access to books; the banning or restricting drag queens from performing; and gender-affirming care. The special will also cover the LGBTQ+ community and allies, including State Sen. Karen Berg (D-Ky.), who lost her trans son late last year, and those working to protect rights.
“The Freedom to Exist” will include interviews with Sasha Colby, winner of season 15 of RuPaul’s Drag Race; actress Angelica Ross from the hit FX series “Pose” and “American Horror Story”; Chase Strangio, ACLU’s deputy director for transgender justice; Nicole Maines, the first actress to portray a live-action transgender superhero on television; Dr. Jules Gill-Peterson, professor at Johns Hopkins University; animator ND Stevenson; Dr. Ben Hoffman, president-elect of the American Academy of Pediatrics; Raquel Willis, activist and author of “The Risk It Takes to Bloom”; model Laith Ashley; and actress and singer Sandra Caldwell.
“The Freedom to Exist: A Soul of a Nation Presentation” is executive produced by Robert Zepeda and Catherine McKenzie. Tine is the series director. David Sloan is the senior executive producer of ABC News Studios. ABC News Studios is led by Mike Kelley.
ABC News will also have dedicated coverage across programs and platforms for Pride Month, including the following:
“Good Morning America” will spotlight the LGBTQ+ community during Pride Month with its “GMA Out Loud” series, kicking off on Thursday, June 1. “GMA Out Loud” explores a wide range of topics and issues impacting the LGBTQ+ community, with contributing correspondent Becky Worley reporting on a local drag queen making a difference in their hometown. “Nightline” co-anchor Juju Chang meets with families as they offer insight on trans participation in sports, while senior national correspondent Steve Osunsami highlights the 50th anniversary of the PFLAG organization. “GMA Out Loud” continues with a special segment on a teacher who receives a full makeover from celebrity hairstylist Andrew Fitzsimons, makeup artist and influencer Patrick Starr, and stylist to the stars Scot Louie. Additional guests and interviews with influential LGBTQ+ figures include Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka for their new Hulu series “Drag Me to Dinner,” Elton John in recognition of National AIDS Day, Page on his new memoir, and Sean Hayes on his debut novel “Timed Out.” Plus, “GMA” will feature music performances by Lily Rose and Adam Lambert.

CLOSED! Preliminary Hot Vintage TV Men List
Alright folks! We have one week left on submissions for the Hot Vintage TV Men's Bracket! As promised here is a list of all the Hot Vintage TV Men who have been submitted and passed our preliminary eligibility checks. There are a handful of guys on this list and one or two not on it that we are currently still debating on so reminder that this list is not final and subject to change.
Currently we have 231 Hot Vintage TV Men!
Also in advance of the competition I'd like to remind anyone submitting propaganda for someone that starred in a show that aired only partially during our timeframe or was under 18 for a part of a shows filming, to please make sure you are only submitting propaganda that is from within our timeframe and when the actor was 18 years or older. This is also just good to keep in mind in general as several people submitted actors for shows that aren't eligible for our tournament either because it was outside our time period or in one case the actor was underaged for the entirety of the show (though many were eligible for other shows they were submitted for). We do our best to screen for these things but sometimes it's hard to tell or it’s a show we don't personally know well enough so we appreciate help from y'all letting us know if you do catch anything.
