ALLOWED HER TO BE HELD BACK A SECOND TIME. DID YOU SERIOUSLY BELIEVE THAT’S WHAT SHE WANTED?!

Constantly got on her case about her speech impediment. Tells her she’ll never get anywhere in life if she doesn’t learn to be more outgoing, and always puts her on the spot.

Alix:

Constantly gives Alix detention and sends her to the principal’s office when she voices her opinion or points out when Bustier isn’t being fair

Always comparing her grades and general academic performance unfavorably to Jalil’s when he was a student at DuPont, pointing out that she could be a straight-A student like her brother if she tried harder

Nathaniel:

Constantly forgetting to include him in the class roster or send him updates about activities, it usually takes multiple reminders from the rest of the class for her to remember him

She’s confiscated his sketchbook multiple times because “he’s not paying attention in class and needs to be disciplined”

Max:

Pressures him into “helping” some of the more well-off students with their homework, I.e. doing it for them, insisting that he needs to be “a good friend” to the people that regularly torment him

Constantly tells him to shush Markov and keep the robot from “distracting” the class, despite Markov rarely making a scene and only speaking up when it’s relevant to the lesson

Mylene:

Recommended to Mme. Winters that she doesn’t give Mylene any leads or prominent roles in the school drama productions, because “her anxiety would impede her performance and the production as a whole”

Pressuring her to keep up her role as the class peacemaker and caretaker, hinting she’s being selfish when she wants to do something for herself

Alya:

While in a conference call with Nadja about a potential school-sponsored internship at the news station, Bustier kept bringing up some of Alya’s earlier, less-accomplished journalism projects and harping on their faults, nearly jeopardizing her chances, despite her having moved past that stage and producing quality work

Whenever Alya chooses NOT to go out and try to film an akuma, either because of important school work or because it could put her life in extreme danger, Bustier practically peer pressures her into doing so anyway, telling her that people rely on her for akuma information

Sabrina:

Let Chloe make Sabrina do her homework for years (there is no way in hell she didn’t know, bull-effing-shit), and got on Sabrina’s case about her own grades slipping

Pressures Sabrina to try and get Roger to be more lenient with the horrible people he arrests, insisting they “just need a caring hand”

Nino:

She’s confiscated his headphones on several of his nonverbal days, which has lead him to nearly have an anxiety attack on several different occasions

On career day, when Nino talked about his aspirations for DJing and filmmaking, she derided the first as “not a real career” and the second as “unrealistic”, leaving him feeling terrible about himself and his goals

Chloe:

Never made her do her own work or punished her for mistreating others, severely stunting both her academic and personal growth

Chastised Chloe for being upset about her mother’s treatment of her, stating that “Audrey is a busy woman and Chloe shouldn’t be so demanding of her”

Marinette:

Constantly shirking her duties off onto her, basically making the girl do her own job, gaslighting her when she tries to say no

Has her organize field trips, manage funding, email parents, file paperwork, etc, not caring about how much it cuts into her personal time

Kim:

Whenever Kim can’t stop fidgeting or is having trouble focusing due to his ADHD, rather than supplying him with any sort of assistance, she sends him out of the class for the remainder of the period, causing him to fall behind in class

When Kim forgot to study for a test due to staying late after futbol practice, Bustier loudly called him out for it in front of the entire class, telling him to get his priorities in order

Rose:

Treats her like she’s made of glass and constantly tries to talk her out of doing activities she enjoys, like performing, because they may “cause her unneeded stress and trigger her condition”

Often criticizes her for her “childish” interests and tells her she needs to grow up and leave her plushies and rainbows behind

Adrien:

Would never listen to him when he told her something made him uncomfortable (Cough, Lila, Cough), pressuring him to keep being the agreeable, high-road-taking boy that “everybody loves”

Constantly chastising him for going against his father, insisting the man “just wants what’s best for him” and Adrien “needs to be a more considerate son”

Ivan:

Constantly sending him out of the classroom and to the principal’s office for little to no reason, for things so much as speaking up in class and her perceiving it as being disrespectful, even if it isn’t

Pressures him into doing all the heavy-lifting for the class, alone, even with Kim’s frequent offers to help

Theater:

Eri:

Once gave her a failing grade on a literature test, even though she’d written all the right answers, because said answers were written in her native Japanese

Criticizes her for “making people uncomfortable” with her dark and gothic demeanor and her theatrical tendencies

Soo-Yeon:

Publicly berated and humiliated him (even more) in front of the entire class when he accidentally tripped over a board and spilled his backpack all over the aisle, saying he “needs to pull his head out of the clouds”

Tries to get him to play down his performance on the basketball court, so that the wealthier students on the team (like Adrien, who was aghast when he heard of this), could shine more

Roxie:

Puts pressure on them to forgive their bitchy ex, saying Roxie could have been a better partner and helped Brie achieve her goals, despite the fact she was completely using Roxie

Treats them in a very similar manner to Ivan, harshly criticizing their surly and reserved demeanor, pressuring them to be friendlier and smile more

Petra:

Frequently, if indirectly, makes it clear she feels it’s extremely odd that Petra is being raised by four gay men, even making a somewhat tasteless joke about it once

Constantly sending her to the office for the dress code “as a distraction”, despite their various accessories not being against the rules and no one really cares

Candace:

Puts pressure on Candace to be the model, perfect, can-do-it-all student that everyone believes her to be, adding to the stress she already puts on herself to keep up that image

Pressured her to let Lila on the cheer squad to be “inclusive”, even though the liar only had wanted attention and to flirt with athletes. She even tried to get her to give the girl her position as captain

Staci:

Constantly critiquing her performance in the cheer squad, saying she needs to show more pep and smile more, saying her lack of enthusiasm drags the squad down

Has openly badmouthed her dad and his career for exposing corruption in the Paris political system on his news show, saying all he’s doing is stirring up trouble

Parker:

When she used her military self-defense skills to defuse a fight between two students, without harming them, Bustier chastised her for getting involved and “being violent”, advocating for her suspension

Chastises her for coming off as “aggressive and unfriendly” when she uses the military jargon she grew up around in conversations or in class

Margo:

Forces Margo to write down whatever she wants to say in class, rather than saying it out loud, as she “finds her accent too difficult to comprehend”

Always expects Margo to be kind and helpful, even when she has her own things to do, telling her that that’s what everyone expects of her, to be the caring big sister of the class

Anthony:

Often openly insinuates that he should be more like his parents, cultured, well-kept and polite, a model citizen, and abandon his gothic interests, despite Sylvie and Bradley having no issue with who their son is and loving him regardless

Tries to force him into social situations, despite his obvious discomfort with it, saying that he needs to get used to being around people if he wants to be a good son when his parents bring him to their diplomatic gatherings

Aggie:

Tries to pressure her into reaching out to her deadbeat parents, insisting that she needs to forgive them and offer them another chance, as “they’ve made mistakes but they can be better if you help them”

Similarly to Margo, frequently gets on her case about using Scottish slang and dialects, saying she needs to “be more conscious and considerate” and speak in a way that everyone can understand

Evie:

Pressures her not to say anything and “make a fuss” when guys harass or touch her, because it’s “just boys being boys” and she “needs to set a good example”

Even said that “maybe if she wasn’t showing off her curves and chest so much, this wouldn’t happen as often.”

Eloise:

Ignored her when she told the teacher about some of the richer students bullying her into doing their math homework, telling her she “just needed to be a helpful and supportive classmate”

Pressured her into joining the scholastic decathlon team despite her not being comfortable in high-stakes competitive situations, saying she needed to “put her fears aside and do it for the school”

Anais:

Constantly putting pressure on her to live up to their mother’s expectations, and chastising it when she vents about how much it actually stresses them out, saying Olive “only wants the best for her child and she should be grateful its mother cares so much”

Pressures them to offer “tutoring” to some of the richer students, despite all that it already has on her plate

Dot:

Has pressured her into not filling out incident reports for small bullying infractions, as is part of her office job, for things done by wealthy students, telling her “she doesn’t want to ruin their future prospects”

Constantly piling more and more work onto her already full plate, even things that a student secretary shouldn’t normally have to do, all while praising her for being “so dependable”

Missy:

When Missy made the mistake of telling her about her feelings of self-blame for her mother’s death-in-childbirth, Bustier dismissed these feelings as “silly”, saying she “had no reason to feel that way”

Has actually had her sent to the counselor’s office for her “obvious attitude problem”, and talked about such in front of the entire class

Mona:

Acts incredibly condescending towards her, like the perfect advocate, frequently suggesting they should stick to activities “more her speed”, so they don’t “impede the progress of other students”

Often harshly calls them out in front of the class to pay attention when she starts to drift into her headspace, embarrassing her and ruining their mood for the rest of the day

Ayesha:

Holds her up as a model of positivity and a good attitude, insisting all the other students should be like her, and trying to force her to be cheerful on the rare days she feels sad

Discourages her from putting her cartoons up on the school’s art forum because she thinks they’re too “silly and childish”, despite people greatly enjoying them

Jesse:

Tried to pressure him out of testifying against his father in court, despite all the abuse he suffered from the man, stressing that family is incredibly important and forgiveness is key

Constantly forgetting to supply him with handouts with larger text to make it easier with his monocular vision

Brecken:

Nearly had him suspended for defending his girlfriend from one of the (rich) guys who frequently harasses her. It wasn’t even a fight, he just pushed the guy away from Evie and told him to back off or he would make him

Doesn’t bother supplying him with any help with her curriculum, despite him being dyslexic and it being heavily literature based. She just says he needs to try harder

Business or Pleasure

Had some minor Chloleka thoughts post All in The Style, this one, but preceding the dancing snippet. this one.

Juleka might have realized too late that she had forgotten to call Rose to tell her how the fashion expo had gone.

-Of all the things to forget-

But she had made up for it next morning by waking up painfully early to pick up Rose's favorites from one of her beloved cafe's so they could chat the morning away. 

Which was how Juleka spent the first couple of hours of her morning before school. With Rose talking a mile a minute, be it about her own time at the Achu event or her bubbling excitement for Juleka's prospective career. 

-Juleka opted not to think for even a second how there had been a brief, very brief, moment where Rose's rapid fire speech reminded Juleka of Chloe rather than of Rose herself-

The excitement hadn't faded even as they arrived into the steadily filling up classroom, several of their classmates even popping in with their own questions.

Be it Marinette's wild flittering between interest in the expo itself, and none to subtle questions about Adrien, then polite enquiries about Juleka's own prospects. As well as Nathanial probing about color palettes or Nino wanting to know about the music. 

Juleka was a touch surprised to find herself fielding more questions than usual, over letting Rose do all the talking. She didn't say much but when she did speak it carried confidence and a firmness Juleka wasn't used to fielding. 

Then Chloe strode in, bold and brassy as usual, with Sabrina trailing behind her like a loyal hell-hound, the blonde beamed at her brightly and made a beeline for Juleka and Rose's desk.  

"Ah, just the star I wanted to see, I know I'm a little late, but I was collecting these!" Chloe unfurled a handful of business cards, each like those she'd been handing out the day before. All a blend of dark colors, subtle golden text with neon shaded flourish. "I had to wait on this new batch of to arrive before leaving today." 

"These look killer," Juleka murmured, accepting and shuffling through them.

"Naturally, I only hire the best," Chloe's way of thanking a person for a compliment. "I felt it ideal to go with something that blurs the line of traditional business and yet still catches your style without pigeon holding you too much. Its a delicate balance, much like handing them out will be." 

That caused Juleka to look back, eyebrows arched, she waited a moment and then pressed, "Can you expand on that?" 

Pleased to be so prompted, Chloe's smile brightened, "Your career will rise, exceptionalism is inevitable. But right now it's still new and it's best not to let anyone know it; that's part of why the cards need to exist and why I was handing them out at the expo."

"Looking professional makes sense, but handing them out, what did you mean there?"

Chloe bounded on her feet a little, "As to handing them out, well, it's best not to do so yourself. That looks desperate, you have people for that." Chloe clicked her finger and Sabrina robotically revealed one of the cards and mimed offering it to Juleka in Chloe's place. 

"But," Chloe added, causing Sabrina to withdraw the card, "You never want to be caught flat footed and under equipped. This is again about striking a balance." Chloe talked with her hands far more than Juleka had ever realized.

"So I always want to have some one me?" Juleka prompted.

"Yes!" Chloe cheered, "But never in the same place, always make it look like they were just lucky you decided to grace them with the card, that fate and the stars aligned that you just happened to have this 'one' on you. Then they feel special and you still look as above it all as you deserve to be." 

Juleka had heard a little about her mothers music career prior to retiring and while a lot of that sounded borderline insane, she could follow the logic. "Like imitating a more dangerous beast until you're big enough to hunt yourself." 

Chloe, honest to gods, purred, "Exactly~"

Juleka slipped a few of the business cards into different pockets and let Sabrina take the rest back and slip them into a slim satchel. 

"Now, before class, you did rank the offers like we discussed no?" Chloe's sudden switch to professional was almost neck breaking, but Juleka was getting used to the girl's rapid fire emotional settings.

"I did," She revealed the distinct cards of each of the companies, so many, gods so many, who had offered her a shoot or trial run and then quickly laid out her top preferences and worked her way down, forming a somewhat elaborate pattern on the desk. 

Chloe looked it over with a cool gaze, nodding then tapping her chin, "Keeping Leos and Lens on par with Mino Menos is good, Mino is feuding with Leo's primary ally right now, so it keeps you from alienating anyone too much." 

Chloe had more or less told her that much last night, but Juleka wasn't going to turn down the compliment. Instead watching as Chloe traced her long, sharp nails around the desk and touched on one of the mid ranked cards. 

"Why are these so low? I was sure you'd like their style, you seemed too last night." 

There was a subtle tremor in her voice, in her manner, almost impossible to pick up if one only paid attention to the tone which was the usual degree of haughty and self assured. but just underneath it was something like cracking glass. Her posture already retreating every so subtly.

"I do like it," Juleka assured firmly, letting her black locks fall away to reveal both her eyes. As Chloe became transfixed she continued, "I put them there because the shoot requires a dancer, and I've only ever raved." 

Watching Chloe's face flitter between half a dozen different emotions as she tried to CTRL-F the appropriate response. Either from the sudden shift in whatever had left her defensive, or in trying to find the appropriate response to the word "rave" was one of those slightly fascinating and concerning things that came from trying to understand the blonde. 

Finally Chloe hit what Juleka was calling a mental void and just shot through to the next point without comment or processing whatever had troubled her.

"Well, I can address that for you darling. The shoot would still be weeks away, that will be enough time to get you comfortable with a dancer's poise and posture." 

"You dance?" Rose asked, while Juleka's gaze drifted over Chloe's frame as the girl bounced up on her feet, chuckling cockily.

"Do I dance?" There was a string of sharp clicks as she pranced on the floor, "One year of tap," she switched naturally into a bold twirl and bowed, "Three years of classical," then pulled herself back, back arched, long, regal neck on full display and perfect for a vampires bite, and leg, long leg, he leg was held out high and she practically did a perfect standing split before twirling on her toe tips.

"Eight years of ballet," She then nodded at Adrien, "Adr-Kins can confirm." 

The other blonde perked up from the music he'd been listening to with Nino and quickly affirmed, "Oh yeah, Chloe's been dancing semi professionally for years, there was also gymnastics and that three month break dancin-" 

"Adrien, shut your zip! I mean zip your shut," Chloe growled and put a hand over Adrien's mouth, "SHH!" 

Adrien looked unrepentant and having a brother of her own, Juleka knew full well one did not put an appendage near one's maw and expect anything but-

"Ack, I can't believe you, really Adr-Kins!" Chloe hastily wiped her hand clean with a handkerchief given by Sabrina. 

'I would have bitten,' Juelka mused.

The boy just shrugged, "I was running out of air," he then turned to Juleka. "But yeah you can trust Chloe's dancing skills, she won't steer you wrong; not unless you intentionally step on her toes for a solid hour and she loses her patience."

"Hah," Chloe crowed, "Felix had it coming." 

Juleka very much wanted to know more about 'that' and several other things, but Madame Bustier's arrival signalled the time to wind down chatter. 

That however didn't stop Rose, as before Chloe was out of ear shot she asked, "Why were you embarrassed by breakdancing? I-"

Chloe was talking over Rose, face reddening, "Because-" She choked on her words the second she caught Juleka's sharp gaze. Juleka subtly shook her head and Chloe swallowed. Finally choking out, "Because it was not deemed appropriate of a style for one of my standing. It was ridiculous."

The last word was barely above a whisper.

Rose looked ready to speak again, always ready to press and playfully pry, but Juleka reached out and gripped the smaller girl's leg, distracting her and giving Chloe a dignified enough exit from the conversation. Just in time for Madame Bustier to call class to order.

Ok that poster for the robot miraculous thing. Look at the side characters. Because who is the girl that looks like a firework personified!? And is that buff Sublime!? We also have just a ninja, almost but not quite Juleka, Nino is a girl now, and just. What even is going on with them??

My best guess is that while there's giant robots the Heroes are also like. Personas or Stands? If that makes sense?

So each kid is gonna correlate to whichever Miraculous user they look the most like.

I ranked the Miraculous Ladybug characters

Félix Fathom

Félix has the best everything in the show: best looks, best brains, best mother, best backstory, best arc, best miraculous, best hero name, best birthday, you name it. He is me. He is my son. He is the love of my life.

2. Adrien Agreste

I know that the fandom generally loves Chat Noir, not Adrien, but I'm one of the few who actually prefer Adrien. I've also seen a lot of people call him a bad boyfriend (especially compared to Luka, especially since Adrien wasn't exactly the best boyfriend to Kagami when they were together), but I think that he's one of the few people that Marinette can actually trust.

3. Zoé Lee

She's another commonly disliked character that I will defend with my entire life. I love how Zoé was so supportive of Marinette and Adrien's relationship despite having feelings for Marinette herself (in this household we stan a sapphic icon) and how as the show progresses, she becomes more willing to grow out of her mom and half-sister's toxic influence.

4. Luka Couffaine

It sucks that Marinette had to break up with Luka and how he was forced to move to Brazil for his safety. He deserves so much better. If Marinette doesn't want Luka, I'll take him. Who doesn't love themselves some Luka? We all need someone like him in our lives.

5. Kagami Tsurugi

I always thought that Kagami deserved better when she and Adrien were together, and now I'm happy that she's with Félix who treats her like the queen she is and defends her against her mother. But also, I have this toxic trait of liking whoever Félix likes and hating whoever he hates

6. Alix Kubdel

Aromantic icon. I also think Bunnyx is cool since she knows everything, including everyone's identities, Lila's bullshit and the fact that she would succeed Gabriel as the holder of the butterfly miraculous holder and the Alice in Wonderland reference.

7. Juleka Couffaine

Goth lesbian. Period. I need her entire look. I also relate to her fear of being photographed.

8. Marinette Dupain-Cheng

I feel like Marinette is so underrated despite being the main character (it's Miraculous Ladybug, not Miraculous Chat Noir). Girlfriend has too much on her plate and deserves a break. Also, I want her life.

9. Marc Anciel

I love Marc's style and he's queer. It's as simple as that.

10. Nathaniel Kurtzberg

Jewish king. Enough said.

11. Mylène Haprèle

I've seen a lot of fatphobic hate about Mylène on TikTok, but I love that she's an activist and seems the most socially aware. I'm going to rank Mylène higher than Rose just because of that one line in "Derision" where she mentions how her mom left when she was little but does not take pleasure in bullying others.

12. Rose Lavillant

I don't pay as much attention to Rose as I do with the other queer characters, but she seems fun since she's also in the art club.

13. Ivan Bruel

He seems nice. I loved it when Ivan was the first to hug Zoé after she apologized and explained what happened at her old school in "Sole Crusher."

14. Max Kanté

I still can't get over "you saved my eyes Lila" in "Chameleon" (dude you wear glasses!). But other than that, he's smart (dude invented a ROBOT!), asexual and seems cool.

15. Nino Lahiffe

I used to like Nino until he started siding with Lila and basically accused Adrien of siding with Marinette because he's a simp. I will rank Nino higher than Alya, however, because he has tried to stand up to Gabriel for Adrien and even feels guilty (even though he shouldn't) about not being able to help him.

16. Alya Césaire

Alya has a lot of good traits but her siding with Lila over Marinette (despite emphasizing how a good reporter "always checks for facts" and Lila's lies can easily be fact-checked) overshadows all of them. Especially when she sided with Marinette over Kagami before. With friends like that, who needs enemies? I wouldn't be surprised if Alya is the first to betray Marinette over Lila (I know she goes by a different name now but I'm not keeping up with all of them).

17. Lê Chiến Kim

I hate Kim, and the fact that he had Marinette and Ondine (let alone any girls at all) fall for him at some point is insane. I will put Kim higher than the last three though because he is friends with Alix and Max and has some good moments.

18. Sabrina Raincomprix

I hate people like Sabrina who always suck up to whoever they think is stronger, and as we've seen in the first season and flashbacks, she was worse in those. But later on, she has some good moments, I guess. I'm also not too mad about Sabrina being redeemed in the fifth season.

19. Chloé Bourgeois

I hate this bitch and the way the rest of the fandom thinks that she was this poor girl who deserved to be redeemed makes me want to scream. Chloé bullied a classmate for four years, treats everyone else like they're her red carpet, has made racist remarks, and y'all think she deserved to be redeemed? I was against it when they started teasing us with the possibility of her redemption in the second season and I was so happy when they decided to scratch it later. The only reason why Chloé is higher than Lila is because at least the characters in the show know she's bad.

I would pull off her wig and her pathetic innocent face makes me want to vomit.

Bethany's Bizarre Miraculous Baseball Episode!?

I decided, while I was readying myself for the finale and Chloe's character death, why not write one of the Miraculous ideas buzzing in my head not related to my fic? This one's a baseball episode because I like baseball episodes.

In terms of background plot, the Peacock Miraculous is fixed and Hawkmoth (no, not Shadowmoth, this is my canon,) has whittled down the identities of Ladybug and Chat Noir to being in Mme. Bustier's class. He doesn't immediately think Ladybug and Chat Noir are the only two students unakumatized in class because he knows Miraculouses can be swapped around, and Miraculous wielders can change their appearance. As for the episode prior,

Ms. Bustier's class is playing baseball for whatever reason. Gym class or something.

Hawkmoth, knowing Ladybug and Chat Noir are in the group, decides to strike, but instead of the overdone and constantly-failing akuma method (not to mention no one's having that bad of a day,) he decides to get creative.

Hawkmoth shows up at the baseball field the Miracuclass is at, in full baseball gear as well? The exits are blocked off by a mass of mold created by the peacock Miraculous, and Ladybug and Chat Noir have trouble running and transforming due to said mold having eyes everywhere, including, yes, the toilets.

He's also created a full robotic baseball team with the peacock miraculous, with 7 basic robot players, 1 armored catcher, and 1 pitching machine on wheels. The latter wields a bat by having it duct-taped to its "head," btw.

Hawkmoth merely wants to wager a game of baseball. If the home team wins, Hawkmoth will leave the class alone. No more akumas or amoks targeting them. However, if Hawkmoth wins, and he might, he gets to take all their accessories! Necklaces, Bracelets, Jewelry, Earrings, Rings, etc.

After the initial cries of shock, confusion, and "Ridiculous, utterly ridiculous!", the class decides on what to do. Some members see this as a low-cost high-gain game, not to mention they were already playing baseball in the first place.

Marinette and Adrien, being Ladybug and Chat Noir respectively in the first place, realize Hawkmoth's plan and are not for playing, although they have problems explaining why for reasons that don't expose themselves. Same with the classmates that have figured out their identities (Ivan, Nathaniel, Juleka, and Max,) although they fare a bit better in the reasoning department. Also Chloe is on team no for obvious reasons. As is Sabrina.

Lila's with team 'no' at first for the same reasons as Chloe, but changes sides when she figures out Hawkmoth's scheme and comes to the same conclusions as him.

Ultimately, not willing to risk what would happen if they said no, the Miracuclass takes up Hawkmoth's offer. Also they have uniforms now. From the power of baseball or something.

Since a baseball team only needs nine players and Ms. Bustier's class has fifteen people (six too many,) Chloe, Sabrina, Rose, Mylene, Lila, and Marinette form a cheer squad instead with uniforms as well. Very modest uniforms. Like at the lightest no sleeves and yes modesty shorts.

In terms of positions (because I care deeply about this,) Alix is the pitcher (a great one at that!), Ivan is the catcher, Nino looks over first base, Max looks over second base (he can catch and throw well by calculating the trajectories), Adrien looks over third base, Alya, the girlboss that she is, handles Shortstop, while Kim, Juleka, and Nathaniel are all outfielders. While Kim's highly athletic and a runner and Juleka is frequently at the right spot to catch the ball in midair, Nathaniel is an art kid that wants nothing to do with this and would rather doodle comics.

As for batting, it's as you'd expect. The students that are muscular, sporty, or have spent time as superheroes (mainly Alya and Nino for the latter,) bat better. Ivan's a bit on the slow side and Juleka's a deceptively fast runner, however. It helps that her girlfriend's cheering her on.

Finally, the cheer squad. Chloe, being a talented gymnast and Mean Girl, kills it as a cheerleader, with Rose and Sabrina not being too far behind. Mylene's doing her best, Marinette keeps on tripping over her own feet, and Lila's doing the bare minimum and using faked health conditions as excuses. She also tries to take the other cheerleaders' earrings and rings in case they're Ladybug or Chat Noir, and makes more fake excuses when noticed. At one point Chloe and Lila start fighting. Sabrina tries to break it up.

Hawkmoth's really getting into the sport, by the way. Yelling, telling the enemy team what to do when they mess up, getting mad when his robot baseball players try to cheat, etc. Mostly because some of Gabriel's best times with Emile were at baseball games. He even proposed to her after a game!

Adrien, sweating a bit: "Why does Hawkmoth keep on looking at me? Has he figured out my identity?"

Hawkmoth, looking at Adrien: "My son isn't doing as well as I'd hoped. A pity. Is he not interested?"

Also the bleachers are filled up with some audience members, let in by the Mold. Not a full crowd by any means, but there's people! It helps Nadja is broadcasting the game as well. Marinette's parents are there. The Gorilla is whistling in support of Adrien and has a foam finger. Nathalie isn't there, though. She was never into the sport.

Of course, a bunch of middle schoolers don't fare too well against a team of lifeforms designed to be good at baseball. Alya, using her own form of Ladybug vision (or whatever it's called,) on the cheer squad, determines that Marinette should join the team in place of someone else. Nathaniel seems like the best choice due to being the worst player.

Nathaniel: "NO! I am not becoming a cheerleader! Can't I just sit on the bench or something?"

Alya: "We need six cheerleaders. We can't have a full pyramid with only five!"

Murmur of agreement from the others

Nathaniel: "...Well can't you get someone else to be a cheerleader instead? Why can't it be someone like Jule-Gets hit by a thrown baseball mitt and shoe-OW! Hey!"

Adrien: "Everyone, calm down. I'll be the cheerleader. I've never liked competitive team sports like baseball anyways. I'd rather be my own rival."

Adrien walks over to Marinette and hands her his hat and baseball mitt

Adrien: "Win the game for everyone here, okay?"

Marinette: (Internally) Adrien's counting on me. I can't let him down again! I'll win this game not just to keep my Miraculous, but so I can rebuild Adrien's trust in me!

For the record, I decided in my canon this episode takes a while after Marinette and Adrien got together before having a horribly messy break-up three episodes later, and in general this is meant to be platonic, but if you make art of this and change that dialogue a little for the sake of Adrienette, I won't be cranky.

But yeah. The entire cheer squad welcomes Adrien in with open arms because they're nice girls, Lila, Chloe, and Chloe's girlfriend. Also maybe I'd have Adrien in a skirt but I'll need consultation on that.

As for Marinette, her passion and muscle give the team the nudge and morale to outplay Hawkmoth's team and ultimately win. Taking the pitcher position from Alix, she throws fast, unpredictable balls to strike out the basebots, and she manages to outbat the pitching machine and hit a home run at the ninth inning while three of her teammates are on each of the bases.

Hawkmoth is a man of his word, thankfully. A pretty good sport, too. Very impressed. He dispels his baseball team, skedaddles away, and finally dispels the Mold so Ladybug and Chat Noir can't immediately chase him.

At the ending part, in the Agreste Manor, Gabriel goes over to his son and said he heard all about his game, including what he said about competitive team sports.

"Did you mean all that?"

"Yes, father."

"Would you rather be a cheerleader than be in the basketball team?"

"Yes!"

And so Gabriel puts Adrien in the cheer squad instead of playing basketball and the two of them play a game of catch because Gabriel realized he's never done that with his son.

With baseball mitts and a baseball.

Could we have some notes about Miss Bustier as their teacher? I assume she works at the Asylum.

Caline Bustier is one of the top psychiatrists at L’asile d’Arkham, specializing in children and teenagers. She soon meets fifteen villainous teenagers

While she may seem unassuming, she knows how to dodge a bullet, knife, and acid hurled at her. That’s why she got hired

Mlle. Bustier: Hello, I’m Caline Bustier, and I’m your psychiatrist. *Dodge’s Adrien’s sledgehammer, Rose’s vine, Juleka’s knife, and throws one of Myléne’s fear gas grenades out of the window before it can explode* Now, let’s all go around and share our names, pronouns, and why we’re here.

She has access to very detailed files on each of the young villains, listing things such as their past home lives, psychological history, any emotional trauma, etc. to get a feel on why they’re all the way they are

For some like Marinette, Adrien, and Kim, it’s pretty obvious- chemicals warped their minds or society was just being a little bitch

She’d like to pick Nino’s brain a bit more to find out what went wrong when his mothers created him

After reading up on Sabrina, Nathaniel, Myléne, Kim, and Ivan’s files, she’s wondering if there’s any way to press charges against their respective abusers

She really wants to have a few words with Audrey Bourgeois. She just wants to talk, that’s it.

Alya has high levels of intelligence, but uses it in a destructive and rather disturbing manner when she’s bored

Also, Max clearly has some sort of superiority complex that went undiagnosed for years, leading to his robot uprising at school

When she’s not giving therapy, she’s making sure her kids patients are treated like humans by the guards. That means making sure they aren’t all doped up, getting Kim out of the basement, making sure Alya has access to twelve-sided rubix cubes, letting Juleka and Rose spend time together, helping Ivan with his ptsd, and helping Nathaniel with his anger problems

So, she doesn’t care for this Lionel Bolton character (Brownie points for whoever can guess this reference)

Bruce Wayne himself felt Bolton was right for the job, but it seems he doesn’t know what’s going on behind closed doors

When going to check the security footage, Mlle. Bustier became suspicious when she saw that any footage of Bolton was gone

So, she goes to the villains one by one to get their sides of the story

Adrien: … I got nothin’ to say.

Mlle. Bustier: But, surely, you must have something-

Adrien: Ya got a hearing problem or somethin’?! NO! Nada! Ixnay! Zero! Zilch! Bupkis! Nothing! Okay?!

I'm kinda curious, do you have an reason to give the miraculous for each characters? Like why turtle to Ivan?

I do! It links back to my au though- So congrats! More lore dump!

Because ive given Nathaniel and Marc the ladybug and cat miraculous, they get to distribute the other miraculous. They share responsibility for this and choose based on their own experiences with their friends/classmates.

The reason they share responsibility is different to canon because they learn quickly the importance of trust and teamwork (will be explained soon).

The moment the box was passed over to Ailes Rouges and Veilleuse, they discussed it together, without names and shared the miraculous between the two of them to look after until the time came for the appropriate hero.

(explainations below cut, lots of words, no art in this one lol)

Creation Box:

Butterfly + Peacock: Same as canon (right now anyway, considering giving Adrien the Peacock, something something angst), following same beginning point anyway.

Bee: Juleka - Nathaniels choice. The first choice for Juleka was actually the tiger (explained further down). But shes chosen as the bee officially. I know this girls got pent up rage shes too scared to show or let out without a mask. The bee will be good for her :)

Fox: Marinette - Marcs choice (His first choice would be Nath if its after theyve met and become friends outside their alter egos, but is either declined or unable to be found (for obvious reasons); though Nath would likely choose the same, torn between her and Alix). If youre looking for creativity, someone with a strong enough imagination to create and spin stories strong enough to convince another person its real? Marinettes perfect for the job. Especially creating illusions of people.

Turtle: Ivan - Nathaniels choice, if youre looking for defence, someone strong to help protect people, Ivans your guy. Hes seen it first hand, particularly with Mylene, but after years of being in the same class as him, hes experienced his protection too.

Zodiac Box:

Rooster: Markov - Nathaniels choice. This one was a bit of a gamble. Markov cant see kwamis, but if he can be akumatised, it stands to reason that he can be a hero. Despite being a robot, he still only gets one use of the roosters power, as hes not human the magic has to draw from his power and since hes so small, he only has a small bank to draw from. Despite this, being small gives him more leeway into where he can go, as my roosters power is rejuvination, its important that they can get around to other heroes easily.

Goat: Alix - Nathaniels choice. The goat in my au is all about movement, and who better for than than Alix. Not to mention, theyve been friends for years, Nathaniel would trust them with his life.

Rat: Nino - Nathaniels choice. If youre looking for someone to multitask, Ninos got experience. Particularly with herding people, experienced with his brother, and occasionally his own friends. Nathaniel used to be close with Nino in previous years but drifted apart before canon present. He still believes Nino is responsible and trustworthy enough for the job.

Ox: Luka - Marcs choice. (Nathaniel would choose the same). Who else could be calm enough not to flinch at the sight of oncoming danger. Hes the older sibling of Juleka (not twin), and often cool and laidback. While he may not be super close to either hero, he knows their identity, a magical suit doesnt change a persons heart song. Luka is the perfect candidate for the Ox, he trusts the magic enough to know it wont fail him. Its just a hunch but dont you think hes already experienced with this worlds magic?

Horse: Sabrina - Nathaniels reluctant pick. There is no other person Nath has seen who is so co-ordinated. Someone who knows exactly what is going on and when and where. Despite her dubious alegions in the classroom, she can be trusted to keep a plan on track. Also shes a horse-girl, dont @ me.

Dragon: Aroure/Mirelle - Marcs pick. A dragon is experienced in the elements, and who else is more experienced than Aroure and Mirelle. They both are aware and skilled in the weather area, this experience leads to incredible skill with the dragons power. They are rarely apart these days but are very busy with their jobs, so they both become the Dragon, they swap out with eachother when one or another is busy, and it works.

Snake: Max- Nathaniels choice. Max is a person who thinks in numbers. Hes able to keep an exact time line in his mind, able to run numbers and percentages on the spot. Max is simply the most efficient Snake. His ability to think logically lends to his skill, he can effectively keep track of whats happened and whats the best course of action. Nathaniel trusts his judgement and his silence, Max is smart enough to understand the concequences and risks of an alterego.

Pig: Kim - Nathaniels hesitant choice. Now honestly, Kims the obvious pick for a superhero, hes like.. classic superhero build and attitude. However, Nathaniel hasnt always had a particularly friendly attitude with him. So despite the present situation he will always be slightly on edge with Kim. Either way, hes a straight forward kind of guy, perfect for the hunt of the pig. Nathaniel can only hope he doesnt get too much to handle, maybe he'll see Kim in a different light after. Or maybe not.

Dog: Rose- Marcs pick (Nathaniel would choose the same). The dog is all about loyalty, friendship, lowering someones guard. Who else would be perfect for the job than Rose? She is able to see the good in a person no matter what, she can keep a persons attention long enough for a job to be done, if getting a job done through affection is not an option.

Monkey: Zoe.. or Adrien - Marcs choice, Zoe, once shes transfered from abroad, becomes a quick friend of Marcs. They both have bright senses of style and well like-calls-to-like. Shes pretty laidback and adaptable, she can work on her feet which works well for the monkey. Nathaniels choice, Adrien, is also fairly new to the social scene but Nathaniels hung out with him enough by proxy that he can get a grip on his personality. He, like Zoe, is pretty adaptable, maybe less laidback from what hes seen but always willing to try something. He doesnt give up, thats important for a monkey too. Also i dont want to leave Adrien out :(.

Rabbit: Alya - Marcs hesitant choice. Shes been seen around akuma attacks before, always with her phone out and recording. Despite this shes always able to help a citizen run away or hide. Shes also friends with Marinette and from what Marcs heard, shes fairly reliable. Theyre not close to eachother for Marc to be certain, but shes around attacks enough to be reliable, shes consistently helpful, and is fairly knowledgable in akuma related activities; she'll work.

Tiger: Kagami - Marcs choice. The tigers original holder was Juleka (chosen by Nathaniel). Who else would be best for going unnoticed than the invisible girl. However after using it once, she declined to use it again. Its not what she wants. Nathaniel understood, he could see it wasnt good for her. So, Marc chose Kagami next. Kagamis sneaky, able to sneak up on someone and not hesitate. If Juleka was like a rouge, Kagami is more like an assassin.

The events about Leonard, Arthur and Juleka take place after the events of the future fan fiction "Sonic Boom: Time Paradox" and Leonard and Blaze are the same age as Sonic and his friends and Smarty and his sisters

Let's start with Leonard. Leonard is an ordinary purple cat who was born to his parents. He is the older brother of Blaze, who has the ability of pyrokinesis. As a child, he dreamed of becoming an emperor, so as an adult he went to find an empty island where he would begin his reign. When he sailed away in search of the island, he suffered a hurricane that brought him to the island where Sonic and his friends live. When he woke up, he saw the children of Orbot and Cubot and their wives in the mobian version walking from afar. Leonard, noticing Tikki, immediately fell in love with her. Next, he met Sonic's Team and their children (yes, this happens a few years later, when Sonic, his friends, and Eggman's robots have children who are currently teenagers). The next day, Eggman, as always, attacks the village and Team Sonic with their children fight with him, but Doctor [DATA DELETED] also temporarily returns, but Team Orbot with their children began to fight them, who turned from robots into mobian versions. Leonard, seeing that the red robot, which looks like a Heartbot, turned into the same cat he saw yesterday, was shocked and loved her even more. After a double battle, Leonard decided to find out where Tikki lives. He asked Team Sonic if they knew a red robot that turns into a cat. They answered him that yes, and told him that it was Tikki and who she was and that Eggman's robots (that is, Team Orbot and their children) can turn into a mobian version thanks to the rings that Eggman invented for them, but they turn either at will or for battle (about the rings and there will be a post about this, but maybe sometime next week). Leonard was still in shock from this and he happily remembered the name of the girl he fell in love with. And in short, Leonard spent several days trying to win the heart of Tikki, who only refused him. But one fine night, when Tikki was sleeping in the mobian version, Leonard snuck in to her and with his anger told her why she didn't want to be with him and that he dreamed of being his future empress and that he wanted an army of children with her. And after those words, he impregnated her. But during this process, Tikki felt that she was in pain and she screamed in pain and called for help, which fortunately Orbot and Cubot came running with their wives and children. Upon learning this, Heartbot comforted her daughter, and Orbot gave Leonard a black eye and shouted at him never to come back and touch his daughter. Leonard left after that and later got to where Smarty lives with his sisters and Cowardbot. Leonard became friends with Smarty almost immediately, he also became good friends with the girls, and he did not immediately make friends with Cowardbot because he sensed with a sixth sense that he was a relative of his former love, but later also became friends with him. A few days later, Leonard developed feelings for Fenya that later he and Fenya became a couple

Next, Arthur and Juleka. They are the children of Leonard and Tikki. Juleka got the red eye color from Leonard's father. After Arthur and Juleka were born, Orbot did not know where to put the babies. On the one hand, he didn't want to leave, but on the other hand, he can't keep them, because they might one day ask where their dad is, whom Orbota kicked out of the village. And Orbot, thinking about it, decided that he would take them to the Roboken. But before that, Orbot made a ring for Juleka and by pressing a button on the ring turned her into a robot that looks like Heartbot and Tikki, but with different colors. He decided that it would be better if she grew up as a robot. After he really decided everything, Orbot said to the kids "I'm sorry, my kittens...". When he flew with them to Roboken, he asked the cyborg clones of Sonic and his friends to become foster parents of these babies, which the cyborg clones did not mind. As a result, Cyborg Sonic and Cybrog Amy became officially foster parents of Arthur and Juleka

Now Blaze. She is Leonard's younger sister and she is the only one among her family who possesses pyrokinesis. When she grew up, began to live her life and found her soulmate (guess who)

Let's move on to Peak. A pixie cat who is the father of Leonard and Blaze. He is rude by nature, but inside he understands what love is. Leonard inherited his character and appearance from him

And finally, Elsa. She is an ordinary cat who loves her children and her husband. Leonard inherited her eye color. Blaze is practically a copy of her, except for her hair

Interesting fact: Leonard is considered the "prototype" of a character named Peak from "13 cards", and his father is named after him

("Calling All the Monsters" begins to play. The camera shows a wide shot of a gothic palatial school, before lunging forward to zoom up to the building's massive front doors.)

(A human boy with bright green eyes and messy golden hair waves to the audience with a welcoming grin, pushing the doors open and beckoning us to come inside.)

(The camera swings around to where a cloth girl with pigtails made of yarn and large blue buttons for eyes stumbles to a stop in the hallway, giving the audience a shy wave with one hand and sheepishly clutching her arm with the other.)

(Wafts of steam rise up through the floorboards, and we drop downward until we end up in an old-fashioned machine workshop, where a boy made entirely of copper is working on some gadgets at a table surrounded by tools and small parts. His face lights up with a smile as he finally works out an issue with his latest invention. His rocket boots fire up as he goes to show his friends.)

*TITLE CARD: Max Kante, Steam-Powered Robot: Old-fashioned chap with a talent for tech!*

(As Max jets down the hallway, a couple of older students smirk and prepare to trip him up...only to freeze in place as they become marble statues. The camera pans around to a short girl with coral snakes in place of hair, slipping a pair of dark shades back up to cover her reptilian blue eyes.)

*TITLE CARD: Alix Kubdel, Gorgon: Daredevil viper with a stony stare and a serious attitude!*

(A frisbee cuts across the screen, catching Alix's attention. She rolls her eyes as the camera zooms to focus on a tall, muscular boy with furry arms and a wagging wolf tail, panting as he chases after the frisbee, before letting out a loud howl as he jumps into the air.)

(Kim catches the frisbee in his teeth, before the camera follows him racing down the hall towards a large fountain with water so deep you can't see the bottom. (Mylene gasps as a stray vine knocks a large flowerpot over a ledge, sending the plant hurtling toward the ground, only for a large gray hand to catch it midair. He sets the pot down before looking up at Mylene, his surly expression changing to a gentle smile.)

(A sort of toxic gas fills the hallways, making many of the monster students fall to their knees, holding their throats. The camera pans over to a tall and muscular boy, littered with scars and wearing accessories made from monsters he's killed. His smile is cruel and sadistic.)

(The villains yelp in pain as they clutch at their necks, which suddenly have sharp pain shoot through them. They turn and see Marinette, a needle pressed in the side of her neck as her button eyes are glowing, focusing her hoodoo powers on them. Through the pain, Felix manages to teleport them out of there. Marinette's partners hug her proudly, and all the monster students gather in the main hall before turning to the screen for a group shot.)

(A flash of lightning cracks across the screen, revealing the title in gothic, cursive script: "DuPont School for Monstrous Youths".)

I kinda went over a list of potential jobs for the Class a while ago and I'm going to pull from that:

Marinette - Fashion Designer. Ofc.

Adrien - Mostly house spouse, but does odd jobs helping Marinette (whether it be some secretary work or back to modeling but on his terms)

Alya - Somewhere in the news. Don't know if she's still doing journalism in the form of news blogs, or if she's switched to being on TV news.

Nino - Director and writer! A new studio happened to open(thank you, Felix!) and he started making movies.

Chloé - Spend time as a lawyer, is now kinda taking over the hotel management instead lmao

Mylene - Stage actress! Still does activism on the side.

Ivan - Member of Kitty Section! Helps Mylene's activism on the side

Juleka - Member of Kitty Section and also a model working for Marinette!

Alix - Absolutely works somewhere in the museum/archaeology. May cheat a touch as she's the only one of the Team still able to use their Miraculous

Kagami - Champion fencer! Has an art career on the side

Luka - Member of Kitty Section!

Max - Works somewhere in the robotics/programming/tech industry. Not sure on specifications

Marc - Writer, works with Nathaniel on comics

Kim - kinda undecided. Could be in any kind of sport tbh.

I came across a really neat post by @sillygoofylittleartist with costume designs for Tiger!Luka and Snake!Juleka, and had a lot of thoughts about that. I was running out of room in the tags, so I’ll put them here.

Juleka would be a really interesting pick for the snake. She’s a very shy and anxious person, and I think that having the ability to reset and try again when she made a mistake would be a relief at first.

Maybe it would build her confidence knowing that she can try again until she gets it right, and no one has to know she messed up. Or maybe it would fill her with doubt, knowing how many tries it took to get it right and seeing the consequences of her mistakes. Especially if her teammates complimented her on how well she was doing, because they wouldn’t know, and she probably wouldn’t tell them much beyond “Well, it took a few resets . . .” Probably one after the other, and initial period of “I can’t be a hero! What am I doing!” followed by a buildup of confidence that slowly turns to self doubt.

I think Sass would be a good partner for her. He’s level headed and wise, and that steady surety would be a good counter to panic spirals. He could help her see that we get the chance to try again and again our whole lives. We’re going to make mistakes, but we also get to learn from them so that we can do better in the future.

Juleka would fidget with her bracelet when she was nervous as a civilian. She would think it was cool that Sass ate whole eggs or whatever and would offer to buy him mice, maybe. He could hide in her hair. Although I doubt she’d be a heavy hitter physically in akuma battles, the attention on her then could be something she’d channel when modeling. If she could tackle a giant robot on live TV dressed as a snake, she could model some outfits.
