y’know another piece of phandom history i never see anyone talk about is the chain to save danny phantom

basically after it was announced that DP was getting canceled fans on deviantart would make drawings of themselves/their DP OCs/DP characters holding hands to form a “chain” to show nickelodeon how much they loved the show and to try and convince them not to cancel it

most of the drawings looked like this:

unsurprisingly this didn’t work and the show was canceled anyway
