I haven't talked about it b4 but I've got a permanent headcanon that Aladdin is Jewish and I really wanted to write a cute Hannukah fic sooooo I used Solominis as an excuse :D

Aladdin: Does he own stuff in the first place? He would loan from a friend until he can fix it

Alibaba: His business went under? He's heartbroken at first prepare to listen to his whining. Then he decides to push forward even harder and fixes it all perfectly like a true shounen protag.

Morgiana: Yknow I'm pretty sure Alibaba handles her finances... so she'd just support him

Hakuryuu: Dumps the problem on Kougyoku and fucks off to the Dark Continent

Kougyoku: Inherits Hakuryuu's shit and cries about it until the power of friendship saves her

Judar: Just takes money from the treasury as if he ever owned shit

Ja'far: Forces Sinbad to be a circus monke-- to perform to regain funds

Sinbad: Is forced by Ja'far to be a circus monke-- to perform to regain funds

Masrur: Plays the tambourine in Sinbad's performance

Cassim: Overthrows capitalism

Solomon: Overthrows God

Sphintus: Marries into a rich family, problem solved

She’s BACK!

Guys, Vathara recently posted another chapter to her Magi fic Whispers of Fire, and I could not be more thrilled. I love Vathara, Magi doesn’t get nearly enough love, and I’d been scared to read WoF for fear of getting sucked down the rabbithole and falling in love with a story that hadn’t been updated in years.

So, of course, when I found out it had been updated, I binge-read the entire thing in like two hours.

GAH, Vathara’s such a good writer.

For anyone curious, it’s basically a For Want of a Nail fic where, due to a landslide, Alibaba had to enter Balbadd by a sea route...... which leads to him becoming a pirate/smuggler instead of joining the Fog Troupe.

......and everything just devolves from there.

I love this fic so much. Go read it.
