Day 6: Grim Reaper
If you ever decide to stay at school overnight, be sure to stay awake or else your soul will attract The God of Death.
Lycoris radiata (aka. Red Spider Lily) is associated with death. Since these scarlet flowers usually bloom near cemeteries around the autumnal equinox, they are described in Chinese and Japanese as ominous flowers that grow in Hell and guide the dead into the next reincarnation. Perhaps because of these legends, people often used these flowers in funerals.

JSHK Spooktober Day 2! Costumes
Time of costumes and fall is upon us! I wanted to participate in JSHK Spooktober 🧡 Idk if I’ll be able to do the other days but I got Day 2 Dolls/Costumes done! I recently watched the first season of Chuunibiyou with my bestie @mokkemusic and fell in love with the main two characters Yuuta and Rikka who look VERY similar to my two favorite characters in tbhk aoi and akane. So I had Aoikane dress up as Yuuka and had Yuuka dress up as Aoikane 😝
Dana always talkin about hananene supremacy is now eating her words since she’s got her Aoikane look a like ship 😝
(For any of my younger followers, Chuunibiyou is NOT a kids anime! Go watch my hero academia or tbhk okay 🥰❤️)
Here is the Yuuka version:

Hi yes hello I have emerged from the abyss to finally participate in Spooktober! This one is for Day 7: Urban Legends Be mindful of the tags, yo.
Title: Waiting for the Splash
Rating: T
Pairing: Amanene
Content warnings: suicide, descriptions of corpses
Summary: Yugi Amane wasn't afraid when his friends dared him to go looking for the Woman in White, a rumored ghost cursed to jump off an abandoned bridge to her death night after night. He didn't believe in ghosts, after all. When he saw the woman fall - when he kept seeing the woman fall - he learned better. But that didn't stop him from going back again and again, hoping each time that tonight would be the night he'd convince her not to jump.

Falling in love with the village witch was the worst thing to have ever happened to Amane.
And he soon realizes this when a spell goes horribly wrong

In a flash; before she can even exhale, she is in the sand, and Amane is above her, holding her wrists down, outlined in that same warm moonlight that once beckoned at her from the shining oceans below.
“Yashiro, how about doing a lover’s suicide with me?”
The little mermaid trades her voice for a pair of legs. Written for Day 4 of JSHK Spooktober.

JSHK Spooktober Ficlets #1
For @jshkspooktober
Day 1: Tick-Tock/Midnight
I’ve barely written any MitsuKou before, but these prompts make me think of Cinderella and I actually think that matches these two best. But it’s horror so the ending is... Well it’s not much worse than canon I suppose.
“I just want...one night.”
“Just one?”
“Just the one! Don’t I deserve that much?!”
“Hehe! Okay!”
--
“I...Is one more night okay?”
“One more?”
“J-Just one more! Please!”
“Hmm. Okay!”
--
“Just one more night, can’t you do one?”
“Mitsuba-kuuun, you’re really greedy, you know?”
“Just one more night. It’s only...one more night.”
“Alright, alright, but I’ll demand extra payment afterwards.”
“That’s fine.”
“Is it? Well, if you say so, Mi-tsu-ba.”
--
“Mitsuba, right?”
The second prince really was such a shining figure. An easy, lop-sided grin. Bright, sincere eyes. Heart worn proudly on his sleeve. He was everything that Mitsuba wasn’t, and Mitsuba resented the hell out of him for it.
But, at the same time, Mitsuba wanted to be close to him as well.
“Prince Kou-sama,” he returned demurely. “It’s an honor that you remember my name.”
Maybe he spat the words out a little and hated himself for it, but Kou just scratched his cheek. He looked a little sheepish. So obvious.
“What do you mean remember?” the prince asked. “You just introduced yourself. Did you really think I’d forget about you that fast?”
“Yes, I think you’ll forget about me once the night is over.” Mitsuba sucked in his breath. “With how many people fawn over you and adore you, what’s another face in the crowd?!”
Kou blinked at him owlishly. God, he must not know what being resented is even like. Getting this close was as intoxicating as it was terrifying.
“You know, you’re so annoyingly chummy! You’re the prince, sire!” Mitsuba burst out with. “No one—can even think of rejecting you! I bet you take advantage of that, too, you—you—!”
“You.”
Mitsuba shut his mouth immediately. His heart sped up.
It doesn’t matter. I’ve already given everything to that guy just to be here. If I get executed on the spot, then...
“You really speak your mind, huh?” Kou’s head cocked to the side. He grinned widely. “That’s...really refreshing! You’re quite the character, Mitsuba!”
Mitsuba stiffened. His heart skipped a beat. The clock dinged. He fled.
“I-I have to go!”
“M-Mitsuba?! Hey, wait up, Mitsuba!”
--
“...P-Prince-sama.”
“Oh, Mitsuba!” Kou turned to him with such relief and glee. “You’re back! I was really worried that you left without warning last night.”
“I-I just have to be back home before midnight,” Mitsuba murmured, and he’s grateful the darkness of the night hid the glow of his cheeks. “It’s... I-I’m surprised you still remember me...”
“Why would I forget the guy who told me off? Even Teru-nii doesn’t scold me like that.” Kou just laughed. With such ease. No fear at all. “I’m glad that you’re okay.”
I resent him.
“Of course I’m fine,” Mitsuba huffed. “What, did you think I’d be in danger the second I was out of your sight? Are you that pompous? Or is this another saccharine line to get in my pants?!”
“N-No, not...at all.” Kou huffed right back, but he cracked a smile. “Well, you seem to be fine at least.”
I’m not fine. I’m not.
“Will I see you tomorrow, too?” Kou asked hopefully. “I mean, it’s the last night of the party, so...”
His heart skipped a beat. The clock was close to dinging once again.
“I-I... A-As the prince, you can’t just make requests.”
“If you can’t go, it’s fine,” Kou hurriedly said. “I mean...”
“I’m going.”
“Huh?”
“I said, I’m going, you dense dumbass!” Mitsuba shouted and thankfully, the clock dinged. “I-I’ll see you tomorrow, goodbye!”
“Mitsuba!” Kou called after him. “Hey—!”
--
The last night, Kou offered him his hand. Mitsuba took it. The two danced under the moon, and Mitsuba dizzily hid his face into Kou’s chest. Kou trembled with such innocent peals of laughter. Mitsuba, too, couldn’t help but smile and giggle in return.
The clock dinged.
“Oh,” Kou uttered. “Guess it’s time for you to go.”
“No,” Mitsuba sighed. “I’m staying for just a while longer.”
Kou smiled down at him, and—
Then—
“Oh, that’s no good, Mitsuba. You really, really shouldn’t tell lies.”
Mitsuba stiffened. Kou looked up at the figure shambling closer. Mitsuba was frozen as Kou’s face scrunched up.
“Who the hell are you?”
“Mm, a benefactor of Mitsuba’s, I guess?” that lilting voice rang in Mitsuba’s ears, more deafening than the clock. “I’m here for my payment.”
“If it’s money, I can pay,” Kou said. Sweet, stupid fucking Prince Kou. “You don’t look like you’re here for the party, but I can overlook your trespassing, if it’s just about payment.”
However, the fairy had no care for the riches that even a kingdom could provide. With glowing golden eyes, the fairy just came closer. Mitsuba shoved Kou away, twisting from the prince who let out a shout.
“P-Please,” Mitsuba pleaded the fairy. “J-Just a little...”
“Sorry, Mitsuba,” the fairy said, completely unapologetic. “Your time’s up.”
Right in front of Kou’s widening stare, the fairy’s claws pierced through Mitsuba’s very being. As he was shredded to pieces, Mitsuba felt his very being unravel into nothing.
No... Please don’t look... K-Kou...
The moon shone down on the scene unforgivingly.

Day 3: Raven/Maze?
There are mirrors in school that reflect a person’s heart. If a person's heart who wanders inside the mirrors is beautiful and pure, they will return to their world without trouble.
If a person's heart contains any ugliness or darkness, even the smallest a bit, the mirror will change its appearance to reflect one's deepest fear, beckoning its victim to stay forever.
