Thought on Yakoo and Satou as a ship?

Sakoo my beloveds!! I don’t have a lot to say about them as I’m not OVERLY invested the way I am with some other ships but they are very cute, this is like the one ship everyone can agree on. Healthiest TBHK ship in my opinion, their friendship seems to be good for both of them and they don’t keep secrets from each other the way Kou has to

I see them as having a loooooong slowburn where they don’t get together until their 30s. Satou has a major crush on Yokoo throughout junior high and high school but right before they graduate, Yokoo starts to like him back. Poor timing since they’re going their separate ways for college and Satou has just decided it’s time to get over Yokoo. They date other people off and on for a while but through everything, their friendship never falters. They become the most important people in each other’s lives but for some damn reason they both refuse to confess. Kou is just as oblivious as they are

When they do get together though (I see it as being a mutual confession), it’s a very healthy relationship. It’s a weird adjustment jumping into a relationship after being friends their whole lives so they have to learn to stop feeling pressured to be stereotypically romantic. Their relationship still looks more like a friendship, but that’s okay because that’s what works for them. They act like one of those old married couples who aren’t into all that cheesy stuff, but are still so obviously together. Or something like that

For the actual manga tho yeah I see it as one-sided pining on Satou’s end, and maybe Yokoo has some feelings too that he just hasn’t come to terms with yet. They are my babies

Sidenoteeeeeee, in regards to the alleged strong overlap between TBHK and Alien Stage (YouTube series) fans, I wanted to ask if it was true.

While I make art for myself, if it’s something everyone doesn’t know/care much about, I’ll just prioritize other ideas I want equally as much! Cause while I create for myself, if more people can be happy along with me then I wanna do that.

I will be revising the world building, storylines, and replacing aliens with supernaturals among other changes. There will also be a MitsuKou comic cause I had a hella (hella) vision and despite not being a big MitsuKou shipper, I can’t deny the prophecy.

Ships featured will be AoiNene, HanaNene, MitsuKou, AoKane, TeruKane, SakuNatsu, etc. Their requited-ness will be up for interpretation so more people can enjoy! You should know my biases though (wiggles eyebrows).

There will also be a strong Tsukasa presence for my tumblr bestie (@makshu)! As well cameos for more of the TBHK cast!

Unfortunately, no animatics. Just comics & art. But maybe one day or if it’s in enough demand.
