I like her style and it breaks my heart that she died being only 65🥺 There's always so much hope and friendliness and support in the world that she's depicting. And, fascinating enough, there's usually AroAllo woman representation somewhere and depicted in the positive way! Of course it is not called "aromantic" by a polish writer born in 1949, more likely for the main male character to call that "AroAllo" woman character a "robot" who "uses him as as a sex toy"🤭 - BUT nevertheless even the male protagonist really likes her, appreciates her skills as loyal assistant, treats her as good friend to confess his problems to and genuinely wishes her all the luck!👍 In other books you can expect other queers occasionally too (like a teenage son who turns out to have a boyfriend), but it's always in sympathetic and realistic yet bringing-back-faith-in-humanity kind of way🫠

Lisa Furey of Lisa Furey Interiors is incredibly talented and I have being featuring her work for many years now. Recently, this breathtaking home underwent an extraordinary and comprehensive renovation by Lisa Furey Interiors, Spire Construction and CZ Woodworking. Lisa’s goal was to return the barn to its roots. Think Rustic, industrial, masculine, farmhouse. Designed to withstand the rigors of active children and pets.

The home now features a custom Gourmet Kitchen with artisan tile, brick walls, high grade appliances, expansive Dining and Family Rooms divided by dual sided fireplace and two sets of French doors, custom reclaimed woodwork throughout the home, and reclaimed hardwood flooring.

  Converted Barn Home Renovation

Exquisite and dramatic, find this 4 Bedroom 3 Full and 2 half bath Converted barn located in desirable Northside Haverford, Pa. Originally designed by renowned Philadelphia architect Frank Furness in the 19th century, this historical structure was expanded upon by McIntyre Capron Architects in 2009.

Outdoor furniture is Kingsley Bate “Sag Harbor” seating and Essex side table – Available through the designer.

The exterior lighting is by Bevolo Coachhouse series (Available through the designer).

Lisa completely transformed this kitchen by adding artisan tile, brick walls, high grade appliances and a large eat-in kitchen island. Timeless and authentic!

Kitchen Cabinet Details: Painted Maple shaker style doors, inset – similar color to “Benjamin Moore White Dove”.

The designer added brick tile backsplash to beautifully contrast with the white cabinets.

This dining room is breathtaking! It feels as welcoming as it gets without losing its elegance. Dining table is custom and available through the designer.

Home Renovation Ideas

  Renovating a home requires more than just money; it requires some courage, a lot of planning and, without question, professionals you trust. For this young family of three the right professional for their home was Clearcut Construction, Inc.

Prior to the renovation, their entire kitchen felt closed-in and very dark. By elevating the kitchen ceiling, removing walls and adding more windows and patio doors, this kitchen now not only looks stylish but it actually feels nice and that is a feeling anyone wants to have the moment they open their door.

The ceiling, prior to the renovation, was 8 feet high and the builder was able to elevate the ceiling to over 12 feet high thanks to an unused attic space above the kitchen.
