First fankai of the year, and I got a little experimental

I wanted to do a "possessed object" -Kai, but to make it a bit more interesting I tried to pull in an actual yokai from mythology. So I asked a discord I'm in for a random object and classic yokai.

@jqmon suggested a lightbulb, which I changed into a lamppost when @crunchyorochiru suggested Lady longneck. So I ended up with a lamppost possessed by a roku-rokubi.(Which is honestly fitting since they had a tendency to drink lantern oil for whatever reasons.)

So, this is Fright-light! The spirit of a woman who died in when a car crashed into a street lamp, which unfortunately crushed her. Her soul now inhabits the lamp.

Those inspirited by Fright-light feel a sense of unrelenting dread, like their being watched.

She is a D rank of the Mysterious tribe(though Eerie would also fit.) She's of the drain attribute, and has the soultimate "Spot-fright" which inspirits enemies into paralysis.

Favorite color: Purple, navy blue, and neons in general! They're pretty nice and can stand against a black background.

Currently Reading: "Camouflage of Great Reknown" by RatCandy! Again AUGH i love this fic Zote is me and i am Zote. Anyways, I would go on a tangent about that but this shouldn't drone on longer than my usual ramblings wahahazzzzz Also, "To Kill a Mocking Bird" By Harper Lee.

Currently watching/rewatching: "Yokai Watch!" and "Brave the Animated Series!" I've watched the latter almost 17 times in counting now aodjoeod, it's one of my faves that rivals Yokai Watch (which is pretty impressive if you know me!)

Want to watch/rewatch: "Yo-kai Watch" (OG), "Good Omens", "The Good Place", the new TMNT show and "ROTTMNT"! Quite the list but y'know =u=.

Currently craving: What I would do for some tiramisu right now...

Coffee or Tea: Same as prev, I like em both! I do like them like my chocolate though; a little more on the bitter side!

Hobbies in Mind: Drawing (digital and traditional), singing, playing videos games, and general crafts. I'd try to make anything once ○°w°○ wwwww.

Current AU: I have an unnamed Yokai Watch AU featuring my sona/character Caspian! I like making random stuff for it but I don't have a post or anything on it yet tho aifkoeod. Not to say I haven't fleshed some of it out or come up with a plot+official refs rho! (Fun fact if you've seen some of my posts; the yokai redesigns I showed yall a while ago were mostly just an excuse to show you the AU versions wwwww^) That, and a little personal world thing with two irls that I love <33 (COUGH. @samiisams and @sketchdeath22 ..... they have amazing stuff go look ooooo......)

A new look for Natty

A more casual fit then some of the other outfits I've given her. I imagine this would he her equivalent to Nate's yokai watch 3 fit.

I've been meaning to give her some more casual fits for a while now, since her main outfit is already Lolita, which is a pretty "fancy" style, and her second most used outfit is a nice sundress.

Put simply, the kid needs some outfits that she can just run around and play in.

I took some inspiration from @jqmon with their one drawing of natty in a cute hoodie. I also stole the idea for star tights from another user who made natsuki fanart, but their name escapes me. XP

I also made a Lil background!

Screw it. A collection of random things that are part of my Trans!Nate/natsuki au, in no particular order

Natsuki had a massive frozen phase

Whisper has kids. Plural. He's a bit of an estranged father

Jibanyan is a femboy

Elsewhere in the world, poppy playtime and fnaf have/are happening. I maintain that most mascot horror games can fit into yokai watch lore without much need for alternation

Natsuki and Zoey both adored smiling critters when they were smols. Nat still sleeps with her Hoppy doll, and Zoey balled her eyes out when Catnap got recalled before she could get one. (Her mom's bought her Rabie Babie as a pity gift)

Hailey's friend Jessica is Natsuki's cousin. Their moms are sisters.

Natsuki owns a sonic onsie(credit to @jqmon)

Zoey is majorly scared of insects(she likes spiders though.)

The majority of the obvious changes in this universe are the result of a different Nate dicking around Old springdale(I subscribe to timeline-split time travel theory)

Lucas is often completely overlooked by everyone, to the point that often when they notice he's there, they jump in shock.
