As a mom all we can do is try to give our kids good “roots and wings” hope they listen and make good decisions! It takes a lot of time to raise kids that’s all I can say especially doing all the pick ups and drop offs alone for 20 years and I still have 8 years left! I have tried really hard to keep all my dreams going by writing and creating for my work while still being “mom” it is all know and it is how I need to live as it is just what I do! I don’t know any other way! I just know as I teach my girls what you put is what you will get out! My big girl has flown she just finished her freshman year at college now have to do it all again for my baby girl who will graduate 5th grade next month. So just I wanted to wish a Happy Mother’s Day to all the hard working, self sacrificing moms that still have the courage to continue believe in their dreams. Don’t you ever give up because I think that is the best lesson you can teach your kids. They learn by watching you and “how you manage to find ways to keep your dreams going” even if they might say you are “annoying and a bit crazy”! Everything for me starts with an idea! Then I create a song, then a dance, then a sketch, then I build or draw a set, then I build that set using my imagination! Just another fun day at The Joy House “Fun House” with Miss Joy! In one Joy House class Miss Joy teaches kids everything! They stretch, workout, dance, sing, write songs, do gymnastics, jump rope, hula hoop, catch, throw, cook, fix things, draw, play play doh, do art and play lots and lots of interactive “Joy House” games! The kids are never bored and they write and sing positive Joy House Songs together for hours! You can not ask for more from “one” class for kids. That is why Miss Joy knows and she keeps following her heart every day because one day all kids are going to be able to visit The Joy House. Joy House Music makes kids happy by making learning fun, building self esteem, by helping kids to feel special and by teaching them how to focus, work hard, be creative and think outside the box! ❤️Spring walks & Mother Nature! In this crazy new lockdown world in CA you really appreciate beauty when you see it! As I write, sing & teach the kids in songs like “Look Around, Look Around what do you see?“ & “Paint what you see, paint from your heart, get some paints, markers, crayons, pencils, just try, just start” Its just so fun to find inspiration for songs and ideas anywhere and everywhere?
