Seriously, he will follow you to the ends of the earth if he is able to. You are his favorite person and he wants to be by you all the time!!!

He likes taking you out to eat!! He'll never bring you anywhere fancy since those places make him anxious but he'll often take you to cafés and food joints.

He will NOT have you eating too little. He wants you to be happy and healthy after all.

KISS HIMMMMM!!! He loves kisses!!! He loves them so much!!!

On the lips, cheek, head, neck, hand, back, wherever, just kiss him please, he adores it.

He leans on you a lot when he's sleepy. It's not uncommon for him to doze off on your shoulder.

This fic is a rewrite of Nankidai's Your Turn to Die: Death Game by Majority, this time with reader-insert, 5 new characters, an extra card in the Main Game, and probably some other stuff that I forgot to talk about!

The first chapter covers the reader's first trial. She wakes up in an unfamiliar room after a blackout during a volunteer gig, and notices that she's tied to the ceiling. A speaker calls to her, talking some nonsense about a "first trial".

(Y/N) woke up with an empty feeling in his chest, letting his gaze wander around the unfamiliar room. There was not a single thought in his head, he didn't even acknowledge what he saw.

The boy's brain initially did an amazing job at keeping the memories away from him, proving by the nothingness going on inside of him.

But sooner or later, it was forced to reboot, consciousness dripping through his body. He felt cold. Or why was his body shaking? "Sara...", first instincts brought her name to his lips. Sara, his older sister, was always there at the utter of her name.

Silence was the only thing responding to his whisper, so he tried again, louder this time, "Sara?" But there was nothing, again. And yet again, he gazed around the room, registering some silhouettes in the darkness.

There seemed to be a chair, no, make that two chairs. And maybe some lamps? It was hard to tell by the shapes. After contemplating about wether the shape on the wall next to him was a lamp or not for way too long, he finally started waking up more.

„ Wait..."

„Oh? So you finally remembered, little brother?"

„No…No, Sara-“, (Y/N)

"Don't give me that look," you plead, face falling as you turn back around from the window to face Joe. "I didn't make it rain, did I?"

"But..." If Joe was a puppy - and some days you reason there's only a stone's toss of a difference, really - his ears would be physically drooping. His eyes have grown twice their normal size, big, mournful brown pools as he stares outside. "I had a whole day planned..."

You sigh. "Tomorrow is also a day, isn't it?" you try to mollify, heading over and resting your chin on his shoulder. "It might not even rain all day, y'know? We can still go to that new ramen place for dinner, if we just grab an umbrella."

Joe mulls this over, still pouting. "I guess... stupid damn weather. Why does it have to ruin all my plans?" he gripes, shrugging you off and collapsing on his bed as though there was a weight of a thousand tonnes on his back. You stare down at him, amused.

You grab his gaming console off the bedside table, switching it on in earnest. Joe perks up slightly when he hears the familiar chime of his most recently-played game, like a dog seeing the mailman. You shuffle onto the bed beside him, cross-legged. The rain beats a light tattoo into the window above you, the sky overcast and swollen with dark grey clouds.

"...Whatcha doing?" Joe mumbles after a few moments, voice stifled slightly by the sky-blue comforter.

"Can't do this out in the rain, can you?" you shoot back, not taking your eyes off the screen.

"Jeez," Joe sighs, rolling on his side. "Just don't erase my saved data, okay? I'm almost breaking level thirty-three!"

"You've been almost breaking level thirty-three for two months now," you quip, beginning a new game.

"Hey!" Joe gapes, wounded. "Uh, mean! That was mean as hell! You come into my house, take my console, play my game, and you think you can give me attitude?"

You arch a brow at him. "You're so cute when you're mad."

Immediately, Joe's face is wiped of any pretence of annoyance; scarlet floods his cheekbones, and he ducks down to hide his expression behind his fall of auburn bangs with a groan. "Ah, shut up. Why d'you say things like that?"

"'Cause it's true, dummy." You poke his head affectionately. "C'mon, show me how to play this stupid thing. You know you're way better at it than me."

Joe peeks at you through his fingers, suitably mollified. "What's that? Did you just say I'm better at something than you? No way - I'm for sure hallucinating! You should say it again, just so I'm sure I'm—"

"Oh, shut up," you giggle, finally joining Joe's laughter as he wrestled the console from your grasp. He waves it in the air victoriously, his wide grin of triumph softening when you worm beneath his arms and tuck your head beneath his chin, back to his chest.

He's warm. He always runs so warm. You can feel the steady journey of his breath against your spine, the way he shuffles to adjust comfortably for you.

"You, erm—" He clears his throat slightly. "You ready?"

"Mhm," you affirm, fully content to just watch Joe play for the next hour or so. Maybe you'll call Sara and Ryoko later, invite them over for a movie night. Then again, it's nice, being just you and Joe for once.

"Hey," he says quietly, a half-hour in when you're beginning to grow drowsy. "Uh, thanks for cheerin' me up. I mean, I'm pretty disappointed we didn't get to do the day out, but..."

You snuggle into his chest. His heart beats a steady, strong rhythm against your cheek. "There's always tomorrow."

"Yeah," Joe grins, fingers tapping at the console. "Always tomorrow."

SCENARIO ; JOE was prepared for this. He was ready to ask you to hold hands with him (It took a lot in him!!) —— Oh no never-mind he fell in a ditch. He is slightly flustered, as his clothes were dirtied by the mud and his umbrella broke. Reaching out your hand to him, his eyes brightened and got up. He sheepishly laughed when you scolded him for falling down an easily avoidable area.

Walking together with an umbrella, you both find a good place to rest while waiting for the rain to abside. Still holding hands, Joe keeps on averting his eyes to the window and the embraced hands.

Thinking he was uncomfortable —— you let go. His back straightened, as he grabbed your hands once more. Cupping his cheek with your other hands, you both lean in and share a warm kiss.

SCENARIO ; RANMARU did not expect for you to hold his hand. Internally panicking, his grip tightened. Both of you were simply walking too a shop (A charm shop to be precise.)

His walking —— was stiff. Like, a robot, maybe? Is that the right word? You could tell he was sweating so hard, his hands were droused with sweat already.

You pat him on the back for comfort. He turns to you and gently smiles, opening his mouth to say something. However, his mouth quickly went back in place.

Before you could ask him what was wrong —— His mouth was quickly on yours. It was a quick, rush kiss. But nevertheless was something warm and made both of your hearts pounding.

After that, he furiously apologized with your re-assuring him it was okay.

SCENARIO ; SARA and you were walking around the festival, playing majority of the games and (sadly) losing most of them.

Sitting down in one of the cliffs (Which wasn't too high, by the way.) , you could see the fireworks boom and do their magic. It was truly a magnificent sight to see.

Sara then sits down, holding takoyaki and dangos. Getting one, you gleefully chow down on takoyaki.

Sara keeps on looking at your face, and her eyebrows furrow. "What's wrong Sara?" You asked, slightly sweating.

Her hands move to your cheek, removing a piece of Takoyaki on your face. "Ohh, thanks!"

Her hands do not stop cupping your cheek. She then gave a quick peck on your cheeks.

You could say you were dumb-founded, flustered. But those feelings quickly went away when she happily (and adorably) takes a bite of the dango, smiling sweetly at the sweet flavor.

Both of you turn to the fireworks and bask in the moment.

- Okay first off, this boy is an S tier boyfriend. He WILL treat you right. He is so loyal and sweet to you it’s unreal. - With that out of the way, being in a relationship with Joe is an adventure every day. He’s always finding new ways to make you laugh and smile, whether that be intentionally or not. - He is just so fun to be around. Even just being near him is enough to recharge you in the morning. - Listen. Listen. Joe is akin to a puppy; he is always wanting your attention. And he’s not as slick as he thinks he is about wanting it. - This guy is always glancing over at you and trying to find ways to be near you. He’s not exactly sneaky with it at all. - CUDDLES CUDDLES GIVE HIM CUDDLES!!! He’s definitely a bit touch starved so cuddle him and he will just melt and fall in love with you even more. - Yeah his love language is physical touch. He lives for your affection. - At first it’s a bit hard for him to initiate affection. He’s not incredibly experienced with romantic relationships and he’s just a little shy when it comes to it. - But give him about a week and he will literally always have at least an arm around you or holding your hand. - His kisses are super sweet and light. They’re usually pretty short, but you can still feel all the love behind his kisses. - Your first kiss was an interesting experience. This guy had been planning it out in his head for days; he would take you to a local park at night and kiss you under the stars. And once you pulled away, he giggled and said “Wowie” in a very high-pitched and stupid voice, completely ruining the mood. - To this day he is embarrassed about it. - As I said before, he loves cuddles. He’s practically a human space heater too, so cuddling him usually doesn’t get uncomfortable unless the weather doesn’t agree with you. - Please please please give him words of affirmation, tell him how sweet he is, how handsome he is, how much you love him, he will die from love. - Dates with him are never boring. Even when you guys are just chilling at home he will find a way to make it fun for the both of you. - The kind of guy to say “This one’s for you!” when shooting a free throw and not only misses, but ends up smacking himself in the face with the ball. - It makes you laugh though so he’s not complaining. - Fights with him rarely happen. He’s just too sweet and caring to actually get mad at. On the off-chance they do happen though, it does not take him long to apologize and try to make it up to you. - In short, he’s a 10/10 dumbass sweetheart who would do anything for you.
