---------------------------------------------------
It's been a few days since my last encounter with the Seed family and things have been more hectic than usual.
To start with, both Whitehorse and Tracey questioned me relentless about what I got up to when I was with the Seeds. Tracey fully believes that I'll switch sides, which has caused some of the Resistance members to give me the cold shoulder. But Whitehorse is on my side saying that I would never do that, I can understand their concerns, I did spend a whole afternoon with them.
Next, I had to deal with some cult members who where tormenting a family who were refusing to join.
And then to top it all off, Kim went into labour, which was unexpected since she's not ment to give birth for another two weeks.
Currently I was waiting outside of the doctors, I had just dropped Kim and Nick off and it gave me some time to think about everything that had been going on.
The sound of the door opening startled me, but i soon calmed down when I saw Nick pushing Kim out with the tiniest of babies in her arms.
"Hey, come meet your Goddaughter" Nick said as he wheeled Kim and the baby closer to me.
"Oh she is beautiful you guys" I whispered as I knelt down to get a closer look at baby Rye.
"You want to hold her?" Kim asked, nodding I carefully took the baby from Kim's arms and started to slowly rock her in my arms.
"You're a natural at that Dep" Kim said as she went to take Nick's hand, who quickly pulled it away in pain.
"I'll let you both in on a little secret that only Whitehorse knows, I have younger siblings, Ava is six and our mom died giving birth to her, so I had to learn how to take care of a baby" I said as Nick came over to gently pull me into a side hug.
"I don't know what to say Dep, that sucks" Nick said as he gave my arm a squeeze.
"It's ok, anyway what's this little cuties name?" I asked steering the conversation back to them and the baby in my arms.
"We were thinking you could name her" Kim said.
"Oh wow uh how about Carmina, I know it's the name of your plane but its a name that means a lot to you already so yeah"
"It's perfect Dep, and you probably don't hear this very often but thank you for everything you have done for us" Kim said as I helped Nick move her so that she and baby Carmina were safely in the car.
"See you later Dep" Nick said as the truck pulled away and drove off.
I decided to take a walk back to falls end as it wasn't that far from my current location.
After walking nearly a mile I could hear the sounds of someone crying so I decided to check it out.
I was not expecting what I stumbled across, John Seed was being held down by two Peggies as a third had his pants down by his ankles, his hands working on getting John's legs spread.
Before he could do anything else to John one of my throwing knives was in his head, causing him to fall to the floor dead. The other two let go of John's arms as they scrambled to get their guns, but it was too late, I had already snapped the neck of the one closest to me and slit the throat of the other one.
By the time I had managed to calm down, John had already pulled his trousers back up, walking over to him I knelt down and examined him.
John had cuts littering his face and blood caked his skin. Grabbing my small med kit from my bag I got to work.
"Why did you help me Wrath?" John asked as I helped clean the blood off of his face.
"Just because you're a psychotic ass doesn't mean I could just walk away from what I saw" I replied.
John looked at me, the confusion in his eyes was as clear as day. I eventually was able to patch up all of the cuts on his face.
"John are you OK?" I asked him as he tried to stand only to fall back onto his knees.
For a moment he was silent but then I noticed the tears streaming down his face, without thinking I pulled him into a hug. It was awkward at first but then he wrapped his tattooed arms around me and started to violently sob into my neck.
"I know John, I know, just let it out it's going to be ok" I said rubbing his back.
"How would you know? How would you know what it's like to be violated by the people who you are supposed to trust?" He asked, his voice muffled by my shirt.
"I know because I've been here before" I said trying to keep my voice calm.
John stopped crying and lifted his head to stare at me.
Giving him a solom smile I said "My father used to abuse me and it got worse when my mother died, when she was alive he would make inappropriate comments about my appearance then she died and things got worse, my mom was the only member of my family besides my little brother Elijah that knew I was trans, when she died my father found out and one night he came into my room, told me he was going to fix my attitude and bring out my "womanly" side" I paused before continuing "he raped me repeatedly, every night, until one day Elijah saw the bruses on my arms and neck and he started crying, begged me to go to our neighbours and tell them what had been happening"
"What happened then?"
"Sheriff Whitehorse was my neighbour, I went to the police station and asked to see him, he helped me, arrested my father and helped me keep my younger siblings" I said tears now falling freely from my eyes.
After what felt like an eternity of us clinging to each other, John got up and pulled me to my feet.
"Look, I feel like I'm a little kid scared of the dark asking you this but would you mind staying the night at the ranch with me? I don't want to sleep alone" he said not looking me in the eye.
"Yeah sure" I said as we headed to his.

Lead Us To Eden - Chapter 1
A/N: So I wrote this is a comment on @amberzombies post. But I really liked how it went and she requested another part. So here is the first part and I have a second one coming too so be on the look out! Enjoy! (Also, I am not deaf myself, but for those of you who are, please give me tips! I’d love to write this perspective as accurate as possible!)
Pairing: Jacob Seed x Deaf!Reader, Joseph Seed x Deaf!Reader
Summary: You could experience the world in all ways except one. You could never hear a baby laugh, never hear someone cry, and you couldn't hear someone tell you they love you. But the people of Hope County didn't realize this. They still put their hope in you to lead them to Eden. To guide them on the path to salvation, but every choice you made now brought you closer to it than you realized.

Chapter 2
Tumblr media
The explosion hit hard. A mixture of silence and pain as you slammed into the ground. You see trees burning around you, but couldn’t hear anything. Your hearing aids were gone. This wasn’t good. Peggies were going to be coming after you after the shit you just pulled. There was no point searching for them. The fire kept growing and you wouldn’t be able to outrun it if you waited any longer.
You stumbled back onto your feet. Quickly checking your surroundings to see if it was clear. Then you sprinted up the hill towards the building on top. You came to a quick stop behind some shrubbery. You spotted more Peggies by the gate of the building. Wolves walking around in prowess ready to pounce and tear your throat out. You clocked five more Peggies, and timed each rotation.
Walking around the back, you jumped the fence. Creeping behind a Peggy, the adrenaline kicked allowing you to swiftly snap his neck. The vibrations being felt in your fingers, you internally cringed. You grabbed the gun and kept moving past the large building. You ducked past the guards, and hid behind a few crates. You notice people in cages, most of the dead you assumed.
You check again for guard positions and shift your head towards a man who was speaking to another. They seemed to be in a frenzy, but you couldn’t read their lips to know what was going on. You heart rate picked up as they all suddenly scrambled around the compound.
Many had gotten into trucks and sped off. Others were gathering extra weapons for whatever was happening. While trying to sneak past another guard, you had tripped and alerted him. You flicked your head to see if he noticed. The man began walking around the corner and you stood up and bolted. More guards came running.
You had to find a way out. It didn’t help you couldn’t hear anything. Hiding behind another crate, you see in the middle of the compound a large man with red hair and scars that scattered the visible skin. You assumed he was the boss as he was barking orders at the other men who just frantically nodded in fear. You still couldn’t read their lips from this distance.
As they all left to keep searching for you. You decided to take the chance to escape. Gathering up your courage, you gripped your gun tighter and made a run for it to the other side of the compound. No one had noticed until you smacked into a large wall of a man. Jacob. He peered down at you. Quickly grabbing your shirt collar, you scrambled in his grip and tried to shoot at him. He grabbed you other hand, bending it to force you to release it.
Your smacked against the damp mud, and again your head was spinning. Guards had surrounded you, shouting and pointing guns, but none threatened to further their actions. Jacob stepped forward and crouched in front of you. Roughly grabbing your chin. He studied your face and then looked at a Peggy telling him something. He looked back to you with a smile that made your stomach drop.
You role your head back and try to blink your eyes open, but the stench of rotting bodies made tears fall. Ropes were wrapped around your wrists and the more you pulled the more it burned.
A screen in front of you flickered on, showing gruesome images of dead animals and wolves eating deer. Jacob stepped out in front, smirking at you. You stared up at him, wishing to be able to shoot him in his face.
He looked away, gesturing with his hands. You assumed he was saying something. When he turned back around, he was close enough you could make out some words.
“Did you really think you could escape from me? Well after the shit you pulled earlier, who the fuck do you think you are?”
He came closer and got in your face. You turned away, feeling his breath on your skin. He took a step back and you saw him grab a little box from the table next to you. He cranked the little lever and slowly opened it. Watching you intensely.
After a moment his face dropped and slammed the box back on the table. He held his hands on either side of you. Staring you down. You weren’t sure why he was so upset, but whatever that box was supposed to do didn’t work.
He spoke again. “Who are you? No one can resist my trials.”
Trials? What is this crazy mother fucker talking about?
When you didn’t answer he swiftly punched you in the gut. Your body heaved trying to cough up something that wasn’t there. He turned around and walked away to contemplate. Another man walked back in to talk with him. Jacob motioned to you and then back to the box. The other manned sauntered over to you and observed.
He picked up the box again and repeated Jacob’s previous actions. Only then did you notice two more people beside you. They convulsed violently in their chairs.
The box.
You snapped your eyes back to the two men. The other man, now that you could see him. He wore yellow shades, his hair neatly tucked into a bun. He wore a black vest and dark jeans. He stared at you for a few moments, before turning to Jacob to speak to him.
They both looked to you again, Jacob observed you again saying something you couldn’t quite make out.
“…chosen one. Joseph? How is that possible?”
Chosen? What does that mean?
The other man, Joseph, came beside him. He gently caressed your face, wiping tears you hadn’t realized were there.
“Yes Jacob. She’s chosen. She will be the one to lead us to Eden.”

---------------------------------------------------
Hope county Montana, was in the middle of a war between the Resistance and Edens Gate and me? I was just the new junior deputy assigned with the task of arresting Joseph Seed but ended up becoming the leader of the Resistance.
As I made my way towards the jail where Whitehorse was waiting for me, my mind drifted to thoughts of my brother Elijah and my sister Ava.
Were they ok? Did they have enough money to buy food and clothes? Were they wondering why I hadn't come home?
Before I could work myself up over thinking, Whitehorse's gruff voice called out to me over the radio.
"Rookie, listen, there have been reports of all the Seed siblings being spotted near the river bank, could you find out if the reports are true and if so find out what they are up"
"Copy that Sheriff, I'll start heading there now"
••Timeskip••
I had managed to get to the river undetected and it turns out the reports were correct. In front of me stood the Seeds, John and Joseph were by the waters edge with fishing poles, Faith was sitting in a chair reading what looked to be a copy of the Book of Joseph and Jacob, well he was standing a little further away from them, almost like he was keeping watch.
I was about to sneak away back to where I had left my car to radio Whitehorse when Jacob turned his head in my direction.
For a moment it seemed as though he hadn't seen me, but who was I kidding, this was Jacob of course he had seen me. The thought of making a run for it crossed my mind but before I could will my feet to move he started to approach me and fear kept me still.
"What do you want Deputy?" He asked me once he was close enough to be heard.
" I was just taking a walk when I spotted you and your siblings, I was just gonna go, I'm not here to fight" I said half lying.
Suddenly Joseph approached us and gave me a look that was slightly unnerving.
"Is there a problem here brother?" He asked in that overly calm voice of his.
"Apparently the Deputy was taking a walk when he spotted us"
"Look I'm not here to fight I was just in the area when I saw you guys, I'm just gonna leave"
All the commotion caused John and Faith to look in our direction and for a split second I was back in the church.
"I see my child, why don't you stay for a while, if you truly were just on a walk surely you're tired" Joseph said as he guided me to where John and Faith were waiting.
"I suppose I could stay for a bit but any of you try something and I'm gone" I said as I took a seat next to Faith.
It was strange seeing them act like normal siblings, John and Joseph went back to fishing and Jacob started up a fire. Faith was lost in her own little world, the book still open on her lap but her eyes were closed.
Suddenly a mountain lion came from out if the bushes and pounced on John.
It was Peaches.
Before she could do some serious damage I whistled and she came trotting to me.
"Shit sorry about that John, Peaches here is very protective of me, she must have seen me with you guys and thought I was in danger" I said whilst stroking her head.
"That over grown house cat ripped my vest Deputy, but luckily she didn't draw blood so I guess it's fine" John sighed in frustration as he inspected his vest.
"Where did you even come from girl, I thought I left you with Sharky?" I asked the cougar, who's upper body was now pressed firmly against mine, like she was trying to shield me from danger.
"She is pretty" came Faith's siren like voice as she approached me and Peaches, who surprisingly tilted her head towards Faith's hand for a scratch.
"How did you train a cougar Deputy?" Jacob asked as he checked John out for injuries.
"I don't know, I helped Mable bring her home one day and then suddenly i was told to keep her, I also have a bear" I replied with a chuckle causing Jacob's eyes to widen slightly.
"A real Noah with wild animals then my child" Joseph said as he brought one of the fish he caught over to where the fire was still roaring.
Peaches eventually got off of my lap and stretched her front paws out in front of her, letting out a loud yawn she curled up by the fire and went sleep.
"And this is why I'm a dog person" I said causing Peaches to huff and roll closer to the flames.
••Timeskip••
The sky was getting dark and the fish were no longer biting. Peaches had wormed her way onto John's lap and he looked like he was about to shit himself whilst Faith was feeding her bits of fish.
Me and Jacob were talking about hunting and Joseph was staring out into the distance, a blank look on his face.
"Well, it's getting late I should head to the jail, Whitehorse is probably wondering where I am" I said as I got up to leave. Peaches finally got off of John's lap and came over to me when she noticed that I had gotten up.
"Well my child, this has been a wonderful afternoon, and I hope that you enjoyed yourself" Joseph said as he stuck his hand out for me to shake.
"Surprisingly, I actually had fun with you guys today, this doesn't mean I'm interested in joining the project tho" I said as I shook his hand.
"That is understandable, I do hope that we can come to some agreement in the future my child" he replied as Jacob came to stand next to him.
John and Faith also came over to say their goodbyes, Faith gave Peaches a scratch behind her ear before engulfing me in a hug which I awkwardly reciprocated.
After saying goodbye to everyone I started heading towards my car. Peaches climbed in the passenger seat and I sped off towards the jail.
••Timeskip••
Once I was safely back at the jail I went looking for Whitehorse to tell him what happened.
I eventually found him in the infirmary where he was checking on members of the Resistance that had been brought back out of the bliss.
"Hey Whitehorse can I talk to you real quick?" I asked as I made my way over to where he was standing.
"Rookie, shit kid I thought something bad had happened to you when you didn't check in" he said as he pulled me in for a hug.
"What did you want to talk about?"
"I just spent the afternoon with the Seed family, I was spotted by Jacob and well long story short I am currently questioning all of my life decisions, it was strange seeing them act like a normal family" I said as he handed me a coffee.
"You're not..." Whitehorse began to say before I cut him off"no don't worry I told them that just because I had a good time doesn't mean I'm switching sides"
"Well good, why don't you get some rest Rook and I'll make sure no one disturbs you"
Saying goodnight, I made my way over to one of the unoccupied cells and layed down for the night.

"Yeah well he dudn't hafta know" John sighed as his accent started to show itself.
"So where all’a y’all from?" I asked, my own southern accent starting to show.

Once we arrived at the ranch, I noticed that there were no guards hanging around the place. It was silent but after what just happened silence was good.
John was already on his couch, a bottle of whisky sat on the table with two glasses next to it.
"I thought Joseph said alcohol was prohibited in Edens Gate?" I asked him as I took a seat next to him.
"Yeah well he dudn't hafta know" John sighed as his accent started to show itself.

I laughed a little before saying "Take a guess Cher"
"Louisiana"
"Duh, but which part?"
"I'd say New Orleans, the French Quarter to precise"
"Im from New Orleans, but not the French Quarter"
We shared a look before we both started to laugh.
••Timeskip••
A few glasses of whisky later and me and John were tipsy.
It felt nice to be able to relax and a drink, without the noise and shouts from the patrons of the Spread Eagle.
I looked at John and wondered what it could have been had we met under different circumstances.
Would we have been friends? More?
Maybe I was just projecting but I noticed the way he looked at me when I first entered the church.
It seemed that our train of thoughts were headed in the same direction as he looked up at me, the look on his face was different from earlier and when from when I last saw him and his siblings.
"Baise-moi" I whispered as he started to lean in closer to me.
Before anything could happen the door swung open and Jacob walked in.
"What the fuck is going on here then Johnny?!" Jacob yelled as he saw me on the couch with his baby brother.
"Jacob, why are you here?"
"I saw the bodies of the chosen who were ment to take you here and I got concerned, now answer me what the fuck is going on?"
I could tell that John was getting nervous, not knowing how to explain what happened earlier.
"Deputy here helped me earlier, the chosen who were escorting me home, well they..." John began to say before cutting himself off.
"What did they do John?"
John broke down crying again causing Jacob to pull his little brother into a hug.
"They tried to rape me, they were on about taking turns, I thought they were going to hurt me, but then Deputy came out of nowhere, and before I noticed he was there, the men were dead" John finally said, his words hung heavy in the air.
Jacob didn't say anything at first, he just stood there, rocking back and forth with John still in his arms.
Finally John's crying turns into sniffling before he stopped. Jacob moved to sit John down next to me again, where he promptly passed out.
"Thank you" Jacob said, it was barely audible.
"Jus' doin' my job" I told him.

Ok so I've been making some changes to my Far Cry 5 series And Hell Followed mainly name changes for Y/N's siblings and where our deputy comes from. So as we know the Seeds are from Rome, Floyd County Georgia, and sometimes you can catch a bit of southern when they speak so I was planning on making the deputy and his siblings from New Orleans, Louisiana.
Can you imagine the confusion on everyone's faces when Y/N starts speaking with his accent, as once Ava (Kate) was born and Whitehorse helped get them away from there, Y/N and Elijah (Markus) started mimicking the Montana accent.
It will all be explained as the series progresses but I like the idea so let me know what you guys think

Lead Us To Eden - Chapter 2
A/N: Here’s the second part finally! @amberzombie I have a good ending in mind already, so it won’t be super long. But we’ll see where it goes! Hope you like it! Also here you go, @jacobsknifeplay

But the people of Hope County didn't realize this. They still put their hope in you to lead them to Eden. Chapter 1
Tumblr media
The bright lights burned into your eyes as they fluttered open. Sweat stuck to your skin as well as your clothes. The taste of iron and salt in your mouth, which was in desperate need of water. You slowly take in your surroundings again and notice that you are in a small room. It was clean with nothing but the bed you were laying on, a night stand with flowers that had this strange gas floating around it, and a solid metal door leading to freedom. You slowly sat up, all the blood quickly rushing to your head making you dizzy. You wore an off white dress with lacing all over. Your feet were bare and your hair matted and damp with sweat and most likely blood. You try to remember what happened to you. The explosion, Jacob finding you. You waking up strapped in a chair. The box. The box! This Joseph guy saying you were chosen. What did he even mean? I’m not chosen.
Before you could dwell on the thought more, the large metal door swings open and in walks a young woman. She wore a dress similar to yours with floral designs around the waist. With her she held a tray of food and a glass of water. She set it on the stand next to you. You kept your gaze on her, unsure of her intentions. She grabbed the water and offered it to you with a smile. You took it and sipped on it, despite your body wanting to down it in one go. But...who knew how long you were out, it wouldn’t be wise to do that. She stood in front of you watching you sip slowly at your drink. Taking the last drop, she took the glass from you and set it back on the tray. She then grabbed a bowl of what looked like oatmeal and offered it to you. You shook your head. How were you to know if it was drugged or not. Her smile faltered and she looked at you again.
You need to eat something silly! Her lips read.
You shook your head again. She didn’t push further and returned it to the tray. Turning to face you again, she offered out her hand again and you furrowed your brows, but you took it anyway. She lead you towards the door and you followed her into a corridor. The walls were covered with vines and the same flower that sat at your night stand. Instead of a hard floor it was grass. She took you around various corners and through many long hallways before entering into a larger room. Before you stood several pews, with only a few people sitting in them. The sun shone through a small opening on the ceiling, creating a soft glow on everyone’s features. At the front, was a pulpit with the man you saw before. Joseph. He had his head bowed in prayer, you assumed. Behind him in a darker corner was a tall man, holding what resembled a gun in his hand. Jacob. You immediately noticed his gaze on you as you walked towards Joseph. The woman still gripping your hand. Joseph turned around as he noticed both of you there. He walked towards the woman and pressed his forehead to hers in an intimate greeting. He turned to you next and held out his hands. You took them cautiously, and watched as he studied you. He slipped a hand from yours and caressed your face. You instinctively flinched back and you noticed the frown on his face.
He let go of your other hand and turned to Jacob, motioning for him to step forward. His gaze never leaving you. Joseph pointed at you and Jacob nodded and then quickly pulled out a box. The same box from before. He stepped up to you and turned the knob and opened to reveal its contents. You saw the cylinder and pins and realized it was a music box. But...they must know you couldn’t hear it so you weren’t sure what he expected you to do. But again, both of the men and even the woman with them were surprised at nothing. You looked to each of them, worry growing inside you that you may have done something wrong.
Joseph took your hand again, and smiled at you. Gazing into your eyes as his lips spoke, “It’s true. She is the chosen one.” You slightly shook your head at the fact he kept repeating this. He noticed you disagreeing and held onto you tighter.
“Yes my child. It is you. We have long awaited your arrival. Come. Let us share the good news!” He lead you back through the corridors, with Jacob and the woman trailing behind. He went past the room you woke up in and towards what looked like an exit. The light outside started to leak through the cracks of the door as he pushed it open. As you stepped outside, your skin tingled at the warmth of the sun, and before you stood hundreds of people. All of them wore old, battered clothes with a strange crucifix symbol on it. Many had also been carrying weapons making you nervous.
You turn your head to Joseph who looked as if he was shouting something to everyone. His hands raised above his head. You scanned around the area to see people yelling excitedly and rushing up to kiss your hands and bow to you. You couldn’t make out what anyone was saying, but stood there frozen as all this happened. Men and women of all ages looked at you and smiled. They kept saying things to you, but they spoke too fast for you to make any of it out, but you smiled politely to each of them. Joseph then began to lead you through the crowd, many people parting to create a path for you. As you walked past everyone, many had gently pressed their hands against you as a sign of respect, like you would do to the pope if he were here.
None of this made sense to you. Chosen one? Eden? Was this Eden? And these people, they seemed like they didn’t want to harm you, but they didn’t want to let you get away either. How were you possibly gonna get out of this one? You needed to find the group you were with before all of this happened. They would help you escape, but too many people knew what you looked like now, so the task just became harder. As you continued walking through the crowd of people. At the end you saw three people. Jacob, the woman from before and another younger man. He wore expensive clothing and had his hair slicked back. He was holding a white book with the same symbol people had on their clothes. All three of them walked to you and greeted you like Joseph did inside the building. The woman was first, grabbing you gently by the shoulders and pressing her forehead to yours. A strong, floral scent came from her. It was sweet smelling, but it made you light headed from how strong it was. She let go of you and next was the man you never saw before today. Upon closer inspection, he wore a long, dark blue coat. A black vest over top a silky blue dress shirt. You could see cuts and tattoos on his chest. He smiled warmly at you and repeated the woman’s actions and held you close. He broke away from you and held out the book he was holding. You took it from him and ran your fingers along the cover. You mustered up a smile at him as he stepped away. Then it was Jacob next. He was hesitant to reach out for you, but he gently gripped your shoulders and laid his head against yours. He lingered there longer than the others and so you opened your eyes to look up at him. He held his eyes shut tightly as you both stood there. Something about the way he held you, the way he greeted you was intensely more intimate than with Joseph.
After a few moments, he did release you and you caught his gaze once again, but this time. It was much sadder. He smiled, but just as soon as it appeared it was also gone. He walked away to join the other two and Joseph placed a hand on the small of your back. You flinched in response, being so caught up with looking at Jacob. Joseph lead you back into your building, and back to the same room you came from. You sat back on the bed, the book in hand. Joseph stood before you, but crouched down and took your hands in his.
“My child. You have done a great thing for our people today. They have hope for the future. My brothers and sister have seen it today. You will be the one that walks us to the gates of Eden. You are the hope of a people. A people that have worked endlessly to save the lost and broken in hopes to create a new future. You...my child. We have long awaited your arrival.”
He let go and placed a kiss to your forehead and left you. What did they even mean by all of this. These people didn’t even know anything about you! Did they even know you can’t hear them? You didn’t know what to think except ...Except if they continue to believe you’re this kind of savior...maybe this is your ticket home. You remembered the book you were given and opened the inside cover, which was titled “The Book of Joseph.” If you were gonna try to figure a plan to escape, it seemed this would be the best start.
