-it took a bit of time, but she began to love art again. getting a degree in art history and working as a curator at NOMA. something she hoped lizzie would be proud of. yet she was also a bit of recluse, she would go to work and then go back to her apartment where she would fill her time with anything other than human connection.

-plans of a long career at NOMA were brought short when inadu, or the hollow, came to new orleans and shook her entire world. the one thing it wanted was hope and there was no way in hell that josie was allowing that to happen. she had already lost lizzie, so that codependent nature that was once fostered by her twin was now fueled by the tribrid.

-everyone worked together to defeat the evil spirit, a lot of them sacrificing their lives in the process. after the death of klaus mikaelson, josie watched as hope turned off her humanity. at first she didn't follow, wanting to hold onto to that last spark of a better world for just a bit longer. but then she saw the death of damon salvatore and realized that there was no light. hope was gone both literally and figuratively.

-hope, ingrid, kaya, and josie all went on a rampage after they went to the dark side. the siphoner finally allowed all those painful thoughts and feelings to bubble until there was no good left, allowing her to kill and torture as many people as desired. she is in no way herself anymore, hell-bent on remaining powerful and keeping her loved ones alive. she has lost everything, her twin, her family, her home, and with that she lost her humanity.

-gabriela was born during a hot summer in 2004. to a family in new orleans who simply just couldn't afford a child at the time. they left her on the front steps of a local catholic church, wrapped in a old green scarf, the only token from her birth parents.

-unfortunately, despite her best attempts, she was never adopted. growing up in the orphanage, she grew close to a girl her age named devyn. she too had been brought into the orphanage at a young age and was placed in the same predicament. the two bonded over the family they found in each other and pinky promised, something very sacred to a 7 year old, becoming sisters related in everything but blood.

-devyn and her went to the same college when they became of age, this was something that gabriela thrived in, her thirst for more knowledge once having the right resources became a driving force in her academic life. being in this type of environment also caused her social life to grow. sadly this wasn't the case for devyn, who later in turn struggled with drugs, after being sexually assaulted on school campus.

-gabriela tried to help her sister get back on track, but eventually devyn began to self medicate. although gabriela loved devyn, she often resented the bad decisions she would later make.

-graduating with a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, she took an internship and became very busy trying to reach her end career goal of providing more sustainable energy to the residents of new orleans. devyn had dropped out and never graduated, and as gabriela became busy, the two grew apart and didn't see each other.

-one night when gabriela was getting ready for party to celebrate her nomination at the ernest n. morial convention center, devyn showed up asking for money. not even acknowledging all the hard work that gabi had put herself through to make sure her sister got the proper treatments. distraught and broken down, gabi threw money all the money she had in her purse at devyn before storming out. later after taking some time to think and breathe, gabi returned only to find her sister had overdosed.

-despite all her best attempts to resuscitate her sister, it didn't work and gabi broke down blaming herself for what happened. suddenly a stranger named arcadius appeared, showing her a vision of devyn suffering in hell. before he could even propose the deal, she jumped a the chance offering her soul to bring her sister back. there was more to the deal though, she also was charged with bringing him the souls of the wicked for as long as he deemed fit. once her sister was breathing again, gabi was dragged into a hell dimension where she was a servant for arcadius.

-becoming a demon sent gabi on a journey of all things gender and being and even became one of the best soul bringers that arcadius had ever seen. but then it all changed when she met tyler lockwood. on a full moon he killed a camper by accident, watching as he mourned the victim, it was then that they saw into his mind and was able to realize that there wasn't any evil lurking there. tyler only suffered from anguish and remorse, something that struck a chord due to the way her sister had suffered.

-this fateful night changed everything for gabriela, she became less malevolent and manipulate, feeling remorse for their past victims, something unusual for a demon.

-after meeting tyler, it was impossible for her to want to be with anyone else. he helped find a loophole that restored gabi's soul from arcadius. later the two started a family, the child became an anchor from the darkness they still possessed.

-being a mom is really fulfilling for gabi, she taught her kids to be good people with values and hearts of gold. making sure that none of them felt as if they weren't enough for this world. a lot of her being a mother, involved the type of parenting she would've flourished in. (since these spots are still open, this will remain tbd. however the kids can be adopted or biological, all is welcome.)

-eleanor was born to a fairly normal family, her mother worked as a teacher and her father a truck driver. they were a normal middle class family that seemed to get along. until one day when they got into a car accident, the only one safe was her since she was in a car seat, only 3. this changed the course of her entire life, the doctors gave both her parents pain medicine and from there they were hooked.

-they tried really hard to take care of her and also get their fix, but the system only lasted for so long. one day they left her at home alone and the neighbor found her, she was 6 years old and unable to care for herself fully. from there she was placed in the foster system.

-she managed to thrive in the local orphanage, having a resilient energy that grew from her time with her parents. they sent her to school and she grew to love english the most, wanting to read everything possible once having access to a library.

-at the age of 8, she was adopted by nora and mary, or as she'd like to call them thelma and louise. the two of them cared for her very deeply, helping her with night terrors and depressive episodes. she wasn't able to tell her feelings to anyone, unable to trust thanks to the damage caused by her parents. yet they never gave up on her, giving her time to open up and find the words for all her feelings.

-as a teen, she did well in school, keeping close to her adoptive family and spending her time reading. people viewed her as an odd book worm, but since she was kind and pretty they didn't bully her too much. yet she didn't have many friends, that was until college.

-in her freshman year of college, she flourished, learning to find her voice and with the encouragement of friends and teachers, began to write a memoir. the whole thing was meant to be published until her tragic death, it was at the hands of someone she trusted, however it was an accident. since she was so young and meant to be published, her death made headlines.

-she has now been brought back to life, confused and unsure of her place in the world.

-after securing the mikaelson family after being posioned, hayley takes hope on a roadtrip in hopes of finding a cure. while doing this she does everything in her power to learn more about the magic her daughter possess, wanting to be a guiding light in all of this. after a few years, she leaves hope with mary dumas to go to austin texas to find a pack that might have answers.

-while in austin, texas she meets keelin (this will be tbd since this character is open, but basically i'd like for hayley to be nicer about the whole cure thing ha).

-all of her hardwork pays off and she is finally able to bring the siblings out of their slumber and back into the real world. it's an emotional reunion, one that doesn't last long since klaus is still in marcel's prison.

-after managing to get klaus back, he finally is able to meet his daughter. it has been years since they've seen each other but she has promised to keep his memory alive. later she finally tells elijah that she has done things she regrets to get all of them back, killed and betrayed to cover her tracks. it's something she that makes her feel heavy to this day.

dhampirs  fangs  aren’t  as  sharp  as  a  vampire.  dhampirs  come  into  their  abilities  when  they  are  thirteen.  sunlight  cannot  kill  them,  though  they  are  sensitive  to  sunlight.  they  age  until  they  reach  the  age  group  of  18  -  25,  or  when  they  start  drinking  blood  on  a  regular  basis.  can  reproduce.  do  not  need  to  be  invited  into  someone’s  home  like  their  fathers.  they  can  taste  food  but  it’s  bland.  they  crave  blood  if  exposed  to  fresh  blood,  or  get  a  taste  of  it.

dhampirs  are  very  rare,  so  rare  that  no  book  has  an  actual  record  of  them  existing.  Due  to  their  species  being  rare,  no  one  knows  any  way  to  stop  them  or  what  they  are  capable  of  and  aren’t  capable  of.  Starting  with  conception,  dhampirs  were  thought  to  not  be  able  to  exist  as  everyone  assumed  that  vampires  weren’t  capable  of  reproducing.  Vampires,  however,  are  capable  of  reproducing,  it  is  just  rare  for  them  to  actually  have  a  child  with  a  human.  Some  say  that  the  reason  vampires  cannot  reproduce  is  due  to  the  fact  that  they  don’t  have  souls.  Others  say  it’s  because  they  are  dead  and  their  reproductive  system  doesn’t  work  anymore.  There  is  no  real  explanation  to  why  dhampirs  can  come  to  exist.  It  could  also  be  because  humans  are  the  vampire's  primary  source  of  food,  and  vampires  only  see  them  as  such.  Regardless  of  how  come  they  are  rare,  or  what  makes  it  possible  for  them  to  exist,  dhampirs  do  in  fact  exist.

when  a  dhampir  is  conceived,  the  pregnancy  itself  goes  pretty  fast.  A  normal  human  pregnancy  takes  the  span  of  nine  months  for  the  baby  (or  babies)  to  fully  develop.  A  dhampir  takes  at  most  five  months  to  develop  in  the  womb.  Like  human  twins,  dhampir  twins  usually  are  born  a  month  earlier  than  singular  babies.  Labor  is  the  same  regardless  of  the  baby  being  human  or  dhampir,  there  isn’t  a  difference  between  how  the  baby  is  born  as  their  mother  is  human.  When  the  baby  is  born,  they  appear  human,  and  they  need  the  same  nutrients  that  a  normal  human  baby.  dhampirs  also  age  at  the  same  rate  as  a  normal  human  baby.

dhampirs  appear  to  be  human,  not  having  the  same  weaknesses  as  their  father.  While  a  dhampir  can  die  a  human  death,  a  dhampir  would  become  a  vampire  at  their  death.  the  only  sure  way  to  kill  a  dhampir  without  them  turning  into  a  vampire  is  by  cutting  off  their  head.  They  are  sensitive  to  sunlight  —  but  sunlight  doesn’t  kill  them  like  it  would  their  father.  Like  their  father,  they  have  to  be  invited  into  one’s  home,  and  holy  objects  can  cause  harm  to  them,  but  dhampirs  can  endure  the  harm  of  holy  objects  after  constant  exposure  to  them.  As  for,  reflections,  dhampirs  take  after  their  mothers  on  this  field.  Dhampirs  appear  to  be  more  human  than  their  fathers.

while  dhampirs  do  lust  for  blood,  they  don’t  need  blood  to  survive.  Once  a  dhampir  tastes  blood  though  they  stop  aging  altogether,  and  the  blood  lust  starts  to  take  over  and  the  dhampir  will  start  to  take  after  their  father  more  than  their  mother,  in  most  cases  they  start  to  lose  their  humanity  altogether.  When  a  dhampir  vamps  out,  their  face  doesn’t  change  like  their  father’s,  they  do  grow  fangs  but  appearance  wise,  one  would  think  they  are  wearing  halloween  fangs  instead  of  actually  being  a  dhampir.

dhampirs,  like  vampires,  have  superhuman  strength,  speed,  agility,  reflexes,  stamina,  and  durability.  Their  senses  are  heightened  (smell,  hearing,  and  night  vision)  and  they  heal  faster  than  a  normal  human.  Their  fangs  aren’t  razor  sharp  like  their  father’s  would  be,  they  have  a  duller  tip  &  the  tip  of  their  fangs  tend  to  be  a  little  more  round.  They  do  not  have  the  same  innate  hand  to  hand  combat  skills,  but  can  be  trained  to  have  such  skills.  They  can  die  a  human  death,  that  leads  to  them  being  full  vampire,  and  are  immune  to  telepathy.

some  rare  powers,  or  unusual,  can  be  inherited  as  well,  though  some  are  unsure  if  it’s  part  of  their  human  blood  or  their  vampire  blood  that  allows  the  dhampir  access  to  these  powers.(ie.  being  able  to  hypnotize  victims,  psychic  links  or  powers  —  like  precognition  and  empathy.

josie  sulez-saltzman  is  the  biological  daughter  of  alaric  saltzman  and  meredith  sulez.  the  gemini  coven  transferred  their  lineage  to  the  twins  while  meredith  was  already  pregnant  with  them  after  a  one  night  stand  with  alaric  before  he  was  set  to  marry  jo  as  a  way  of  closure  between  the  pair,  hoping  it  would  resolve  any  lingering  feelings  between  the  two.

becoming a mother to josie and lizzie fundamentally changed caroline's life. after turning into a vampire she had been battling with the fact that motherhood was not in her future. not only was that not the case, her family would soon to grow bigger than she'd imagined when it had been just she and the girls. reconnecting with klaus and adding to her family was everything. as william, nikolas, and faith were born, caroline tried to balance the work she valued very much at the school, being a devoted wife and mother, and looking for some sort of loophole for the merge.

losing lizzie left caroline in shatters. guilt of not being able to save both her children from something so horrible weighed deeply within her. still she had to stay strong for the rest of her family. maybe she got a little overbearing after. checking in on her children a little more than normal, worry wormed into her heart and fear of losing another child ached. she couldn't help it.

as time passed caroline tried to heal, to rid herself of the pain in hopes to try and honor the living. her family helped, working helped, as long as she didn't lock herself away she could carry on, and she did. with her children grown and flying the nest caroline is tries not to overwhelm herself with work and her worries. making time for things that make her happy. she's going to live forever, life will throw things her way eventually and like always she'll fight like hell.

josie is canon compliant up to season four ! post legacies ;

josie's solo travels came to an end when wyatt halliwell outed the existence of the supernatural. they found it too dangerous to be separated from lizzie and hope and quickly made her way back to them. falling in line with the resistance was easy as it was something that josie firmly believed in. neither wyatt nor the initiative were right in their eyes so it was a no brainer.

working with the resistance felt natural, it was a cause josie wholeheartedly believed in. they would have stayed with them until the end if it hadn't been for that curse. it hadn't been meant for josie, but for chris. hurled in the halliwell's direction, though instead it was josie who leapt forward and took it. the second the magic touched her, the darkness of their own was thrust forward. while josie had been trying to integrate the dark version of themself over the years, she wasn't entirely successful. still fearful of those bits of themself.

now dark josie was at the helm, in control of the body while jo clamored inside to break free. at first dark josie believed that having the curse running through their veins, keeping them at the front, that they had a fountain of dark magic they could siphon at the drop of a hat. they'd used it for a bit, until they could feel the curse weaken, the fight of the version locked inside her was getting stronger. dark josie couldn't afford to be pushed aside again.

they believed their survival was in ripping themself away from the family that would so surely try and bring them back. wyatt's cause appealed to them of course. switching sides was obvious. dark jo kept as much physical distance from lizzie, hope, chris, & the rest of their family as they could. they didn't want the josie inside to feel that they had anything to fight for. especially when at times they could feel her battle for control of the body.

now with them back in the past, keeping distance wasn't as easy as before. in fact it gave the josie inside them some new hope. dark josie can feel her days are numbered and that is a very dangerous place to be.

Once Lizzie realizes that she's in the past, and with no humanity on, she's going to hyperfixate on finding Sebastian and resurrecting him, no matter what it takes.

Adulthood loves Lizzie, as much as she can pass as an adult, and she's been thriving. She's done her best to work on herself, even more than when she was at school, although there's still no hiding her temper or her impatience.

come the end of legacies, lizzie remained with the salvatore school, helping her mother and her friends rebuild and welcome the new class

in the year following, as the OEA rose in prominence and threatened the school, lizzie still committed to the school's cause regardless, keen on not running away over a hopefully insignificant threat

unfortunately for her, the threat wasn't insignificant, and her dedication to the cause is what led to her sacrifice

she took a solo recruiting mission to visit a supposed troubled young witch in need of safe haven. it was supposed to be a low stakes endeavor, not even worthy of a proper day trip. in reality, the "troubled young witch" was working for the OEA, and what was meant to be a good Samaritan mission led to lizzie being captured, sacrificed, and trapped in the prison world

she was in there for 3 years, absolutely livid at the turn of events. the karma of the situation (or lack thereof because she was trying to be good and not run away and deal with things head on and take initiative and spread warmth and community and all that kumbaya nonsense) has led to some setbacks in her own personal growth, ngl, but she's working on that since her return

also worth noting that her time away has left her feeling just awful in general. prior to her sacrifice, she was just starting to embark on a journey of figuring out a future for her self, now that she was finally in a position of having one with the merge out of the question. but then the OEA became a thing causing trouble, and she was thrown into a prison world just as things started seriously changing in the real world. being trapped for so long stifled her and her growth, and she's come back to a world different than the one she left, all the people she's loved moved onto various different stages in their lives over the 3 years, and she hates that.

anyways, she's only just recently finally made her way to new orleans after her release, and she's got a lot of resentment at the OEA for her imprisonment, while also dealing with a lot of self-esteem issues stemming from a profound sense of aimlessness. she's doing her best to reorient herself to this new reality

I imagine that in the year after legacies but before lizzie got trapped, she had started making decent headway into her vampirism with mg, but after getting trapped, I can def see her making it her mission to get through honing her skills totally, if only to help her get through the endless sameness of the days

baby vamps. similar to the above, except instead of a mentor, this was someone who was new to the vampire world with her, and they explored the ins and outs of vampirism together. also ideally in the prison world, likely to be a WC.

crush (m): lizzie is prone to superficial crushes, pure eye candy. it's a great distraction for her, something to pour her energy into easily, and easy is exactly what's she's looking for after being gone for so long. if anything real actually comes from it is something we can plot, but for now, this would just be someone easy on the eyes

crush (f): I hc that lizzie realized she was bi after spending time with the god Jen in s4. since this realization, she's leaned pretty hard into the exploring that part of herself loud and proud and open about it (likely to overcompensate for how out of her field/new being with women is for her), so she probs also has a fem crush too. she's likely to resemble more of her s1 rafael-era flirtation (re: awkward & rambly) with women than her smoother s3/4 semi-confidence.

fwb/fuck buddy: lizzie has got a lot of pent up frustration over her years away, and this person helps her release that. could be friendly arrangement between two peers, or just a fuck buddy who is only contacted when she's got an itch to scratch. this person, regardless of the their relationship to her, likely also is prone to hear lizzie vent her frustrations before/after (and possibly even during) sex because bb's a talker!

living situation. I imagine since her return and coming to new orleans, she's probably living with a family member (her mom most likely, maybe her sister), which is fine, but she'll eventually want to move out into her own space (she was on an independence journey away from her normal familial crutches before being trapped, after all), so potential roommates and neighbors would be fun plots.

friends. and of course, all the friends! lizzie is an extrovert who has a very hard time being alone, so she of course likes to build a community of people she can go to for all the things. shopping friends. foodie friends. gossip friends. unlikely friends. confidants. Entering the mansion we had dropped our kids back off at school. Yet when Klaus and I sat our bags down in the entrance I halted in my tracks seeing Josie and Lizzie standing at the end of the stairs. “Hey Saltzman, what's going on?” I questioned shifting my gaze between the pair.

“We were thinking that since our mom is busy with recruiting work. We should plan a baby shower or something.” Lizzie said putting her hands together in front of her.

Tucking hair behind my ear I sighed towards the blonde. “Oh Lizzie. That’s sweet but you don’t have to do that. After all this is our fifth kid not our first.”

“Yeah but we feel like we should do something for you and uncle Klaus.” Josie replied.

Klaus tapped me on the shoulder making me glance back at him seeing that there was a guy with a clipboard standing in the doorway. Walking outside with him my husband asked him confused. “What do you need, mate. We didn’t order anything.”

“I have tables, flowers, chairs and a helium tank.” The guy explained holding out the clipboard.

Knitting my brows together in confusion I gasped eyeing my husband knowing he would pick up on what that stuff could be for. “Oh my gosh. Alaric Saltzman forgot about the Miss Mystic Falls Pageant.”

“I’ll fix this.” Klaus stomped forward grabbing the man by his shoulder compelling him since no humans in this town knew what vervain was like they used too. “Follow these two girls and you will find the man who you will require his signature. Go on.”

The man left the mansion where I turned to the twins. “Okay so it looks like we have to pretend to not be supernatural for a day. We’ll meet you at the school in a few minutes.”

“Okay let’s go.” Josie nodded to her twin with her and Lizzie leaving us alone. Klaus and I made our way back to the school seeing that Lizzie already had everyone on tasks of what to do. In that moment it was clear she took after Caroline more than she did her bio mother Jo. It made me happy to think that Josie at least took after my late cousin in some ways.

Lizzie glanced in our direction telling us to follow her inside an office room. Klaus and I entered behind her seeing that Joise, Hope, Missy and Alina were also waiting to see what she had to say when she shut the door with her foot in a huff. “I am withdrawing from Miss Mystic Falls. Effective immediately.”

Hope rolled her eyes. “I thought you had something important to tell us.”

Josie made a confused face at her twin. “Okay, wait, why are you quitting?”

“A personal issue with one of the judges. A direct result of that bittch Dana's sabotage.” Lizzie sighed, sitting down at the desk.

Hope slumped her shoulders. “She's dead, Lizzie.”

“Correction: that dead bitch Dana's sabotage. Costing me the crown from beyond the grave.” The blonde siopon changed her wording, shifting her gaze between my three daughters. “The head judge is her mother. The town pharmacist. There is always next year for me. But that does not mean that we here at the Salvatore School shouldn't bring home the title and stick it to those townies. So, I have studied all of the stats and advanced metrics, and I have chosen a replacement. Hope Mikaelson.”

Alina crossed her arms over her chest scowling at her answer. “Wait a second. What if me or Missy wanted to compete. Are you saying that we would have to go against our own sister?”

“I don’t see a problem with having more than one Mikaelson compete for the crown. It should be fun and plus it would give the Salvatore School a stronger chance of winning for once.” I didn’t see a problem with it turning towards my daughters. “If either of you wants to enter, go right ahead.”

Klaus intertwined his hands together behind his back leaving the room with me following his heels. “You’re mother is right. The Mikaelson family was here long before any of the founding families anyhow. So let’s take it to these townies.”

The door behind us opened and shut with me watching Missy walk past us and go up to Ethan who had just got here. “Hmm I wonder when she’ll introduce us to him?” I mumbled more to myself than to my husband leaving the pair alone to talk.

Leaving Lizzie to do whatever she was going to do with Hope I heard someone call my name running down the stairs grinning at me. “M & M!”

Missy’s pov

“Ethan, what are you doing here?” I chuckled, not expecting to see him here today.

He playfully hit me on the arm. “My mom got the sheriff job so it looks like we’ll see each other more often. So we might be able to have another date after all.”

“Why did you call me M & M? I thought I told you to call me Missy.” I asked, tilting my head slightly.

He sent me a cheeky smile gesturing down the hallway near us. “I just thought it would be a cute superhero name for you. Uh…would you be up to showing me around?”

“Absolutely.” Turning on my heels we started walking down the hallway until I recognized a boy with dirty blonde hair coming towards us. “Roman, why are you here!”

"Dr. Saltzman called me to come help out.." He paused, staring at Ethan knowing I could hear his heartbeat just like he could. "I was hoping I could talk with you and Alina privately for a second."

Clutching my hands into fists I felt the veins beginning to appear underneath my eyes until I managed to shake it off. "Fine…Ethan I'll be right back."

Roman and I made our way away from the human boy knowing that he wouldn't be able to hear what we were saying now. Shoving my hands in the belt loops of my jeans I kept my eyes gaze focused forward letting silence fill the hallways until we were outside searching for the old mill building. "Missy, I just feel like I need to apologize for what happened. I was an idiot to not see what my mother was really trying to do."

"Roman, what do you want from me? Cause if you want me and Alina to forgive you that can't happen." Raising my hands towards the vampire I cut him off.

He shook his head dropping his shoulders heavily. "I know that. I just…I don’t know what I expect from you. I thought you'd be angry and want me dead or something."

"Oh at first, yes. But it's been two years and I have to just adjust with what happened to me…" I sucked in a breath feeling some tears coming up. Covering my ears with my hands I suddenly snapped back at him. "You know why am I fighting this anymore. Do you know what it feels like for me to finally start liking guys only to have to not let him get close because I want to sink my fangs into his neck and possibly kill him!"

"I…I am so sorry even if you won’t accept my apology. I am sorry, Missy. I never would have wished you for you to become a vampire." Roman sheepishly admitted before he lifted his head up hearing some laughter in the distance. "Do you hear that?"

Lifting my hair up from my left ear I recognized my sister and Jackson's voices. "They're this way, let's go." Vamping away from Roman he followed my trail shortly afterwards.

Inside the old mill building Jackson and Alina were practicing the dance outside of the rehearsal room back at the school where everyone else was. Jackson gently pushed his wife away from him, throwing his hands up. "This is ridiculous, Lina. Our wedding dance wasn't this complicated."

"Come on, Jack. I know it seems stupid. But I want to give this a try." She slumped her shoulders putting her hands into the pockets of her dark orange jacket.

He ran a hand through his black curls offering his other hand to her. "Fine. I just think we would have a lot more fun running through the woods in our wolf forms. Since we aren't bound by the full moon anymore."

"I'll make it up to you later…someone’s here." Alina leans forward about to kiss him until she could sense that someone was there watching them which revealed Missy and Roman walking into the room.

Roman barely could get a word out before my sister ran forward shoving the vampire against a wooden post. "Alina, I know you'll be angry with me. But I-"

"You what killer. You've got nothing to say that will ever fix what your mother made me do.!" My twin sister wrapped her hand around his throat holding him up against the pillar.

I took a step towards her with Jackson standing at my side. "Alina, don't kill him."

"He's already dead, sister. But you have nothing to say that will make me forget being forced to kill my own sister…and there's nothing stopping me from tearing your heart from your chest right now!" Alina flashed her werewolf eyes pushing her other hand harshly against his chest but not inside just yet.

Roman couched feeling her fingernails tightening. “Alina…”

For a moment I thought she would kill her but she drew her hands away letting the vampire collapse to the ground. “You’re not worth it. Even after I did kill you it would only feel good for a brief second. Just know that if I see you again you might not be safe from desiccating in a cave for another 900 years!”

“Alina…” Jackson reached to touch her shoulder knowing that she was fiercely angry right now.

She huffed trying to calm herself down walking down toward the school. “Come on, Jack. We need to get ready for the Padgett.” Roman who was catching his breath stayed with me before I vamped off going to find Ethan.

Klaus and I were upstairs getting ready in one of the other bedrooms that no one was using for the time being. Pushing dresses back and forth I couldn’t find one that I liked or that would fit since my stomach had started growing now. “Still looking for a dress, Rae. How about you take one from the past as an option?”

Raelyn’s pov

“Klaus, what are you talking about…you kept that dress. It was strained in blood and torn.” I covered my mouth with my hands recognizing him holding a golden dress in his hands. The dress was the exact one I wore when I first met Mikael but it looked brand new.

Klaus handed it to me while I eyed him up and down seeing he was simply a black suit and white shirt with no tie for tonight. “I had some dress store fix it. It will fit perfectly against your growing stomach too.”

“Thank you, Nik. You always know what I need.” Kissing his cheek he smiled watching me slip the dress back on in front of him. Leaving my hair loose I take his hand sending him a grin placing my hand other on my belly. “We’ll have to start thinking of baby names though at some point.”

“Don’t worry we will find the perfect name for this prince or princess soon enough. Let’s go deal with this dance.” He nodded in agreement, kissing the crown of my head leading me down the hallway until we got downstairs seeing the entire room with our students and the others were the normal humans of the town.

The whole dance had gone pretty well for the most part. Klaus and I intertwined hands together getting close, joining in with the girls that were competing, not caring about the judges watching us. While he spun me around and back into his chest I caught Josie saying something angry at her sister. “What about your sister's feelings?”

“What are they fighting about?” Hope asked Roman who had stepped in after Landon bailed.

The curly haired vampire didn’t answer her. “Who knows? It's always something with those girls.”

She demanded of him while they kept dancing. “I know you can hear them. Tell me.”

Josie raised her voice. “Do you know how good it would feel to actually be competing? In Mom's dress? Did you even consider how Hope would feel wearing it?” Shifting my gaze over to our eldest daughter I noticed that she was wearing a light blue dress that I remember he had given Caroline when she came to the Mikaelson’s ball.

“She looks fantastic. She should feel amazing.” Lizzie was watching Hope just like we were.

Josie scoffed. “Will she still feel amazing when she learns where it came from?”

Roman shook his head eyeing the dress the girl he was dancing with was wearing. “It's silly. Sibling rivalry stuff, about the dress you're wearing.”

Hope asked him. “What about it?”

Klaus finally turned his attention to the siphon twins listening in on the conversation that I was hearing. Lizzie asked his sister, slumping her shoulders. “What do you mean, where it came from? It was a gift from some guy who used to be close with Mom.”

Josie finally left the room shifting her gaze directly at me and Klaus. “From Klaus Mikaelson, Lizzie. Hope's dad.”

Squeezing Klaus’s hand in mine his blue eyes met mine with us both hearing Roman tell Hooe where the dress was actually from. “Your father gave it to her. “

“My dad chose this dress?” Hope chuckled through a gasp grinning brightly at us before a spotlight went on her and the judges had said that she had won the competition.

Focusing my attention back on my husband an idea popped in my head when we needed to think of baby names for our fifth child. He tilted his head to the side knowing I was thinking of something. “What’s running through that head of yours now, Raelyn?”

“What if we named our son or daughter after a Disney character hmm. I don’t know if that sounds odd or not given that you didn’t grow up watching them on tv.” I shrugged my shoulders, giving him some hopeful puppy dog eyes waiting for his answer.

Klaus leans forward gently kissing me not caring who saw us. “I told you that every king needs an heir. You have my heart and you can do whatever you wish. Especially when it comes to naming our children. I’ll love baby number five no matter what. Just as much as I love you, Rae.”

“I love you very much too, Nik.” I responded wrapping my arms around his neck drawing him in for a kiss. He wrapped his arms around my waist tugging me against his chest enjoying the kiss like we always did with one another.

Bio

Kai was born in Portland, Oregon in 1972 as the eldest son ofJoshue Parker and twin brother of Jo.

When his nature as a siphoner was revealed in adolescnce, his family began to treat him poorly and referred to him as an "abomination," .

As a siphoner, he was shunned by his family, and he wasn't allowed to touch anyone.

As twins of the Gemini Coven, Kai and Jo were expected to merge. However, Joshua knew that Kai would win the merge given his powers, and he didn't want Kai to lead the coven. Due to this, Joshua and his wife kept having children util another pair of twins were born: Liv and Luke

Realizing this, on May 9, 1994, he decided to kill his siblings and merge with Jo. He stabbed Jo with a hunting knife to get her out of the way as he went after their siblings, but Jo managed to cloak the twins to protect them, promising to merge with him so long as Liv and Like could live. However, she had relinquished her magic, and the coven harnessed the power of a solar eclipse to trap him in a purgatory dimension for his crimes, which kept him trapped in a shapshot of the day that he was imprisoned.

In the Prison World, Kai tried to kill himself several times, each unsuccessful. He realized that it was his punishment, a safeguard by the Gemini Coven to make sure that Kai didn't end his eternal imprisonment early.

Personality

Kai was a charmingly unstable newcomer with the unsettling ability to seem normal as the situation demands. He can be both playful and obsessive with a mix of adolescent angst, llikely stemming from the fact that he was referred to as an "abomination" due to his unique magical ability.

He lacks the ability to show remorse, for example: while killing his little sister with her own magic, he commented that the irony is funny, or sad, and that he gets those emotions confused.

Appearance

Kai is a very handsome and charming man with dark brown hair, blue-grey eyes and a slim build.

Powers and Abilities

Kia possess the ability to absorb a witch's power and use it as his own. This can kill said witch if Kai were to drain all of the witch's power for his needs. Aside from this ability Kai has no other magical powers of his own, and can only practice magic by stealing the magical powers of others.

Kai can absorbed power from active spells as well.

Like his coven's ability, Kai also can turn invisible but only when he absorbed another witch's power.

In addition to having the ability to siphon magic, Kai can sense magic in others, but this power was limited to being close enough to touch the person he intends on sensing the power on.

Despite having no magical power of his own, he paid attention durning his conven's teachings, so he is very knowledgable magic and spells .

contrary  to  popular  belief,  skylar  knows  who  their  birth  parents  are   -----  well,  almost.  they  know  their  mother  in  the  nebulous  sort  of  way  that  comes  from  second-hand  memories  and  stories.  he  has  a  name,  a  picture,  and  what  his  father  told  him  of  her.  she  was  a  dragon.  she  loved  the  rolling  stones.  she  didn’t  stick  around  to  raise  him.  safe  to  say,  they  don’t  think  too  much  about  her  (  a  lie.  he  feels  that  abandonment  even  now.  how  awful  a  thing  it  is  to  be  launched  into  space  by  the  one  person  who  might  have  understood  you  ).  

comparatively,  his  relationship  with  his  father  was  much  more  complicated......or  maybe  simple.  it  depended  on  the  day.  you  see,  people  could  say  a  whole  lot  of  things  about  joel  augur,  but  none  of  them  could  be  that  he  didn’t  try.  raising  a  kid  wasn’t  all  flowers  and  sunshine.  raising  a  kid  who  could  set  the  goddamn  house  on  fire  when  he  didn’t  get  his  way  ?  yeah,  that  was  something  else  entirely.  but  he  did  it.  he  stood  by  and  loved  his  kid  in  spite  of  everything.  kept  him  safe.  kept  him  hidden.  was  a  good  father.  but  all  good  things  must  come  to  an  end.....if  you  ask  skylar  how  he  feels  about  having  a  dad  who’s  serving  a  life  sentence,  well,  your  stupidly  brave  or  suicidal.  and  honestly,  he  wouldn’t  know  what  to  say.  they  were  so  young  when  he  got  taken  away,  that  they  hardly  remember  a  time  before  it. most  memories  of  his  father  are  inside  those  four  walls,  in  those  uncomfortable  chairs,  under  the  watchful  eyes  of  the  prison  guards.  caroline  made  the  trek  with  him  and  filled  out  the  forms  every  month....at  least,  until  the  barrier  went  up.  then  it  was  only  painfully  short  phone  calls. 

it  was  funny  how  it  only  took  a  few  months  in  the  foster  care  system  before  one  of  the  workers  swiftly  sent  them  the  way  of  alaric  saltzman  (  something  something  a  threat  to  himself  and  others.....  ).  it  could’ve  and  should’ve  been  worst.  by  the  time  they  made  an  appearance,  dorian  had  already  put  together  that  dragons  were  still  around  in  the  loosest  sense  of  the  word,  but  what  the  fuck  they  should  do  with  one  was  still  a  mystery.  he  ended  up  taking  a  stupid  amount  of  classes  with  the  werewolves  and  witches  (  temperamental AND breathes  fire  ? though,  no  one  really  had  any  proof  the  temperamental  thing  was  a  dragon  thing  and   not  just  a  skylar  thing.....  )  and  getting  one-on-one  training.  it  bored  them  to  death.  but  most  of  his  days  at  the  salvatore  school  were  spent  alone.  there  weren’t  exactly  many  kids  his  age  running  around  (  save  for  pedro  )  and  fewer  who  could  relate.  some  of  the  older  kids  tried  to  reach  out,  but  they  just  weren’t the  type  to  reach  back....but  the  salvatore  school  did  do  one  good  thing  for  him.  

maybe  it  shouldn’t  come  as  a  surprise  that  he  hit  it  off  with  caroline  -----  she  always  did  have  a  thing  for  the  weirdly  dysfunctional.  at  eight  years  old,  skylar  was  closed  off  and  viciously  bitter.  too  angry  to  draw  people  in  close  but  made  all  the  worse  by  the  lack  of  connection.  it  was  obvious  that  something  needed  to  happen,  but  what  was  unclear.  enter  the  one  and  only  caroline  forbes.  she  took  him  under  her  wing,  gave  them  the  tools  they  needed  to  survive,  gave  him  a  home  and  a  family.  and  for  the  next  14  years,  they  were  content.  sure  they had  their  issues  (  a  fuck  ton  of  issues  )  but  they  had  gotten  better  at  working  through  them.  

then  the  parents  fell  asleep.  suddenly,  things  were  a  lot  fucking  less  alright....but  they  had  siblings.  very  little,  very  dumb  and  vulnerable  siblings.  after  burning  down  the  salvatore  school  in  a  fit  of  anger  (  oops  ),  he  got  his  shit  together  to  help  lizzie  and  josie  raise  them.  

and  then  ken....and  the  future  bullshit.  ugh.  but  for  the  time  being,  he’s  just  trying  to  keep  trying  to  keep  everyone  alive.  something  that’s  apparently  not  going  to  be  easy  given  their  mom’s  new  boyfriend  is  apparently  public  enemy  number  1  (  and  after  chronos....they're  thrilled,  really  ).

josie's background is pretty much canon. so we will leave that as is.

after going away to belgium, she first fell in love with the school and then not long after she met lucas. it didn't take long for the two to fall in love.

after they fell for each other, they were soon married and ended up buying a nice home in belgium. shortly after that, they welcomed a son into the world

not long after his birth, she got a call from her mom and found her father dead. it wrecked her world, though the two had issues, she still loved her dad and it felt like her world was falling apart

her husband was kind, patient, understanding and began to help her get through it as did the love of their own son

a year later, after an attack lucas was nearly beaten to death. but he survived, he was sent home and one day she ran out to the market to get food to make dinner and when she arrived home he was dead - their son in his arms.

it destroyed her, she moved back home to mystic falls to be close to her mom and she only got out of bed to take care of her son

after about a year, she came across the last person she expected - her uncle kai. he taught her magic, some that would help lead her to her lost love and she knew eventually it would come at a cost

one of the places the magic lead her was an underground club only for the supernatural. it was a place she could let loose. drink her problems away, dance and slowly begin to heal herself

while there she ended up meeting a vampire aiden, initially it started off as friends and banter and slowly progressed to friends with benefits / a fling

a few years later, the two finally ended up together. something josie wasn't sure she was ever going to do again after the pain of losing lucas and her son was her world

at this point, she ended up introducing her now four year old son to aiden and the two began to build a bond

a few years after that, josie ended up on the other end of an attack and was close to death. aiden found her, he couldn't let her go and she didn't want to leave her son an orphan - she was turned into a heretic

together the two raised josies son parker, aiden was known to him as his father. when he got older the truth was given, he had a dad that was taken from him and josie told him stories, showed old photos and videos

for the last 30 years, josie has been living as a heretic in mystic falls with aiden
