海碩盃》 最終決戰近3千人次觀賽 日本混血球星丹尼爾太郎5戰未失一盤封王 全英組合史蒂文森／威利斯雙打首度來臺就奪冠

臺北海碩網球公開賽今（27日）在臺北網球中心室內球場進行最後一天「王者大戰」，在臺北市網球中心室內球場擠進2998人進場，歌手蕭敬騰和夢想家啦啦隊亮相都讓現場氣氛更加火爆，雙打「全英內戰」最終由全英組合史蒂文森（David Stevenson）／威利斯（Marcus Willis）以直落二封王，成為海碩盃史上第一支來自歐洲的雙打冠軍。而單打冠軍戰，火力居高不下的大會第2種子日本混血名將丹尼爾太郎（Taro Daniel）以直落二破了在臺灣保持9連勝的第3種子沃爾頓（Adam Walton，澳洲）不敗金身後，成為繼2012年添田豪之後，第二位在海碩盃單打封王的日本球員。

海碩國際網球系列賽過去都是以捐發票換門票方式，將發票捐給公益團體的作法，今年由於賽事首度移至臺北市網球中心室內球場舉行，改採販售門票來控管進場人數，但主辦單位海碩集團今依舊大方捐出各50萬給予陽光社會福利基金會和創世社會福利基金會，雙打決賽前還邀請歌手蕭敬騰來擲幣，並且由福爾摩沙夢想家啦啦隊Formosa Sexy在場��熱情助陣，帶來精彩開場表演。

史蒂文森（David Stevenson）／威利斯（Marcus Willis）首度來臺參賽，其中35歲威利斯曾經在2016年溫網寫下奇蹟之旅，從會外一路打進會內第二輪才負於費德勒（Roger Federer），但2020年退役後體重一度飆到115公斤，一直到2022年復出，今年在雙打大有斬獲，已經獲得6站挑戰賽冠軍，今年還獲外卡重返溫網，世界雙打排名上周才衝到個人新高的世界第93，而他25歲隊友史蒂文森上周也來到雙打世界第145的個人新高；兩人對手南智星／巴里斯中，南智星最常跟臺灣雙打一哥何承叡合作，今年就打下釜山、華國三太子盃兩座冠軍。

首盤第3局，全英組合先被逼出2破發點，但仍成功保發，第4局到手1個破發點也沒拿下，但第6局再逼出3個破發點後，終於率先關鍵破發後，全英組合就順利先以6比3拿下首盤。

第二盤雙方互保前4局，第5局全英組合再度率先破發，第8局挺過1個破發點後，第9局再二度破發，最終全英組合順利以6比3收下勝利奪冠。

威利斯封王後拿下今年的第7座挑戰賽雙打冠軍，雙打世界排名也將躍升至世界第81的個人新高，這也是兩人合作拿下的第1座挑戰賽雙打冠軍，威利斯說：「我們在去年10月合作就拿過ITF雙打冠軍，這賽事規模雖小，但這個冠軍才讓我更堅持下來；今年海碩盃冠軍也有非凡意義，因為前幾周都打的不好，這個冠軍讓我更有自信，未來我們也會再多合作，希望能有更好的成績。」

威利斯曾經在2020年退休，他說：「當時我有兩個小孩，還要工作，每天就是吃喝不斷，體重一下就飆到115公斤，當時人生完全失去了目標；2022年要復出時真的很困難，但很開心現在又重新找回對網球的熱情，希望我的例子也可以鼓勵到一些人，如果有這樣，我會很開心。」

全英組合拿下海碩盃雙打冠軍後，兩人對今年賽事和臺灣都有非常深刻的認識，史蒂文森說：「這是我人生第一次來亞洲的比賽，很開心有一個新的體驗，我們明天就要離開前往韓國，晚上會利用時間去逛一下夜市。」威利斯說：「來到臺北市網球中心這個場館，感覺很有組織性，賽事也舉辦的相當舒適，應該是我打過的最好的挑戰賽之一，我10多年前來過泰國，但卻是第一次來臺灣，這次也趁機會去逛了101大樓，還成功挑戰了臭豆腐，希望我明年還可以來！」

緊接著壓軸的單打冠軍戰，由大會第2種子、世界第89日本混血名將丹尼爾太郎（Taro Daniel）將對上5月在華國三太子盃封王的第3種子、世界第103沃爾頓（Adam Walton，澳洲），兩人首度在職業賽對決爭冠軍，31歲丹尼爾太郎首度來臺參賽，前4場比賽都以直落二獲勝，以不失一盤晉級決賽；而25歲沃爾頓雖然在前4場丟掉兩盤，但從今年5月華國三太子盃起已經在臺灣打下傲人的9連勝。

首盤，沃爾頓在第4局先逼出第3個破發點後率先破發，一度讓他取得4比1領先的局面；但丹尼爾太郎開始反擊，不僅在第7局完成回破，第8局又化解2個破發點後，第9局又二度破發，連下5局後，丹尼爾太郎反倒以6比4先拿下首盤領先。

第二盤前7局雙方互保且都沒有破發點，沃爾頓在第8局一度逼出3個破發點，但都被丹尼爾太郎經過四次丟士英勇保發，雙方互保到5比5時，關鍵出現在第11局，換成丹尼爾太郎逼出3個破發點，雖然沃爾頓也撐過三次丟士，但最終還是被丹尼爾太郎完成關鍵破發，賽末第12局，丹尼爾太郎雖然又被逼出2破發點，但還是被他沈穩的連下4分保發，最終以7比5拿下勝利封王，沃爾頓則痛失在臺灣的9連勝後屈居亞軍，丹尼爾太郎則是繼2012年添田豪之後，第二位在海碩盃封王的日本球員。

丹尼爾太郎勇奪今年首座單打冠軍和職業生涯第9座挑戰賽冠軍，他賽後開心的說：「太美妙了，我近況不錯，比賽過程有點緊張，幸好經過前一天跟曾俊欣多拍來回的比賽後，讓我可以早早進入狀況，我很需要這個冠軍，因為我需要這站的積分，才能維持在百大以內。」

首度來臺參賽就以連續5場直落二拿下冠軍，丹尼爾太郎說：「從前一天起，就有5、6名在臺灣的日本球迷來幫我加油，讓我獲得了很多的動力。」首度在海碩盃封王也讓丹尼爾太郎印象深刻說：「比賽很棒，飯店也很好，感覺在這裡有家的感覺，這讓我覺得很感恩，晚上肯定會先去喝杯啤酒，最後可能再去吃個火鍋慶祝一下！」

Being a set and a break down did not let C-P. Hsieh/C. Rungkat down as they stepped up their point construction, trying to match J. Paris/J. Nam's intensity to some extent. However, the latter's clutch appearance also on return, considering their return depth and some finishes when they utilized the open court, sometimes took the former off-guard, followed by their willingness to move forward as evident in the match tie-breaker with the more successful volleys and smashes, which ultimately pressed C-P. Hsieh/C. Rungkat's baseline positions. As a result, J. Paris/J. Nam had 10 break points even if C-P. Hsieh/C. Rungkat converted 50% of their 8 break chances throughout the match.

Beside, it appeared that there were not too much differences between both pairs' service games. Scoring 2 aces, J. Paris/J. Nam had the slight edge on their first serves by winning 65% of their first serve points, 5% more than C-P. Hsieh/C. Rungkat, as their consistency helped them to stand out in this match. However, this left their second serves more risky, double-faulting 7 times that faded their second serve winning percentage 17% below the wild card pair, which also contributed to their slight dip in the second set.

In the quarterfinals, J. Paris/J. Nam will face the winner between first seeds Evan King/Reese Stalder and Tung-Lin Wi/Chu-Huan Yi in another first-round encounter that will be played later on. This could be a fruitful clash that came down to the pressure points, emphasizing their match management as the differences might appear thin between both pairs. While being the most balanced team possible could be rough, a lot of questions need to be answered before this exciting match got called, which put this as a possible doubles match of the day!

The match tie-break became a distinct rollercoaster after a service game hold from J. Paris/J. Nam to 2-1, where J. Nam's backhand let cord moment set their mini-break to 3-1. However, a double fault somewhere only paved the way before C-P. Hsieh/C. Rungkat held to 3-3, but another third-shot forehand error from the former pair caused the latter's mini-break to 4-3, which was strengthened with a smash to 5-3.

However, the moment did not last long due to C. Rungkat's failed volley to 5-4, allowing J. Paris/J. Nam to get back into the game with a service game hold to 5-5. Several points later, a net exchange ended with a working preceding volley for C-P. Hsieh/C. Rungkat set up their lead to 8-6, but their 2 match points several games later went on to be saved thanks to J. Nam's working final smash (after an out-smashing contest) and volley to 9-8 and 9-9, respectively. After generating their match point to 10-9 thanks to an unreturned serve, J. Nam/J. Paris won the match tie-break 11-9 as a result of C-P. Hsieh's +1 volley error, to his dismay, thus securing the former pair the quarterfinal spot.
