Anyways, now that I've spilled my tea, let me answer your question while I make some more. Hmm, five songs I like listening too... so many options!

Immediately, I have to mention "Man of Constant Sorrow" covered by Jerry Garcia. While I love the original song, I love Garcia's cover of it so much. It's just so calming to me.

I've been listening to this double bass player, Alexander Muravyev, and specifically his Wonderland album. I love the entire thing, but Cheshire Cat is definitely my favourite.

This is getting hard! I can't decide what to mention. But I definitely have to tell y'all about some of my more hyped up songs. Starting with "MILLION DOLLAR BABY" by Tommy Richman. I just really love turning the volume in my car up and rolling down the windows, blasting this out.

Down to the last two! Okay, I literally just listened to this song while making dinner, and I love it. "Dry Heat" by Goodnight, Texas. I love a lot of their songs, and this one is no different.

Oh the last song! I'm just about finished making tea, made you a cup just how you like so you can drink while listening to these songs.

My last song of choice is "Vagrant Song (Deep South)" by Ryan Ike (vocals by Joshua Du Chene). Ryan Ike is one of my favourite artists, and his albums always show me new, small artists to listen to.

Devin Clark & Joshua Du Chene - See You in the Upside Down (A Stranger Things Fan Song)

Netflix’s smash hit series “Stranger Things” has already inspired millions of fans all around the world. However, things get even more interesting when the show reached the intellect and creativity of artists! This is the case of Devin Clark & Joshua Du Chene, who created a fan song titled “See You in the Upside Down.” This track isn’t only a great way for Devin and Joshua to show their love for the web series, but also a great opportunity for them to try out new ideas and creative avenues.

Devin is a composer and guitarist, while Joshua is a vocalist and lyricist. Interestingly, they actually never really met in person, but set out to strike an amazing collaboration on the web, as the pair exchanged their tracks online to create music. Mastering duties were performed by Brendon Williams, who is also one of the main composers on video game scores such as Call of Duty WWII, Destiny 2, and Guild Wars 2.

This track is richly nuanced, and it depicts Devin and Joshua’s chemistry, as well as their mutual passion for captivating melodies and dream-like textures. The song has a suggestive cinematic feel to it. The sound of this track makes me think of artists such as NIN, Tool, or even alt-rock stalwarts like Alice In Chains. Naturally, Devin and Joshua even pay tribute to Survive, the band who actually composed the soundtrack for Stranger Things!
