After a long time, I finally made a drawing related to the Three Caballeros, or rather my version of the modern caballeros. I drew Donald Duck, José Zé Carioca and Panchito Pistoles in 1990s outfits playing rock music and playing as a rock band like "Rocky The Three Caballeros". More precisely here they are teenagers and adolescent college students who decided to play for their concert, and together they love rock music (part of my Quack Pack AU). Donald and Panchito play electric guitar and Ze Carioca drums. They love to sing and play rock music with each other and love many rock bands and musicians like Elvis Presley, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Metallica, Scorpions, Queen and Fred McQuarrie, Pink Floyd, Alice Cooper, Nirvana, David Bowie, The Doors, Guns N' Roses, Motörhead, Sex Pistols and many other groups. Donald is practicing to be a good singer, but he is not doing very well. They also all wear jeans and backwards baseball caps together to look more cool. Maybe that's why their nephews (Donald's and Jose's nephews) like to wear backwards caps.. ;) Yes, even though it's past I certainly wish Jose Carioca a happy birthday which is celebrated on August 24th and also a happy Brazil day which is celebrated on September 7th. Happy Brazil Day!

In addition, I dedicate this drawing to one of my favorite singers who unfortunately died this week and passed to the other world. Most of you don't know, but it's a rock singer from my country who is the founder of the group "Riblja čorba" (Fish Soup) and was one of the best Yugoslav rock groups of that time. Yes, his name is Bora Đorđević and I can only say thank you for his songs that I loved to enjoy and sing. That's why I drew a picture of a fish bone behind the Three Caballeros since it's the symbol of that group for those who ask. Certainly thanks to Bora Đorđević and his group for everything. Rest in peace, amen.

Speaking of cultures around the world, i decided to throw Donald, Daisy, José and Rosinha to a sometimes forgotten part of my own culture: the Festa Junina! So put on a good xote to listen and drink a nice glass of quentão while i explain in a little abstract under the cut how this party works!

The Festa Junina are a group of popular parties that lasts the whole month of june due the celebrations of holidays of Saint Anthony (june 13), Saint John (june 24) and Saint Peter (june 29) from the catholicism and the harvest in late autumn (especially of corn). There are games, typical food like the canjica, clothes, musics and the dances (in the art above you can see the characters dancing the quadrilha)!

I haven't been feeling well this past week. And I've already been prescribed medicine to fight it off. There's been great improvement but even then sitting up can be a chore. Yes, it was that bad. I didn't realize that something as simple as this can be something taxing until getting sick like this.

On a lighter note, as I was going through my duck works I once again saw my abandoned comic that involves Donald Duck as Anna. I didn't like the direction it was going but I still enjoy how this segment of panels here came out.

if for some reason I ever bother to revisit that comic, I'll probably keep this set of panels but redraw or correct a lot of the illustrations already here. Especially on Jose Carioca's part. I remember still struggling with when I drew this. I need to get better. I miss being able to draw this unlucky duck with no trouble.

~ Panchito is pretty hyperactive himself! So he definitely understands a lot of your traits and struggles. He can get distracted easily, and has trouble sitting still. He can also be impulsive at times. So if you need someone to talk to about your hyperactivity with, he’s a pretty good option!

~ He knows he can be too much for a lot of people. But he found that hyperactive people tend to be drawn to people who are also hyperactive. So now, you and him have each other! He’s happy to know that he has a less chance of bothering you, since you share a lot of his own traits!

~ If you’re more hyperactive than him, he can see things more clearly. For example, he can tell when you need to sleep. A bad sleep schedule can increase your hyperactivity, so he knows it’s important to get you to sleep at a reasonable hour. Even if you claim you’re not tired, he gets you to go to bed.

~ Exercise is important for everyone. But it’s very helpful for hyperactive people! Even if you hate exercising, Panchito will find something that you’ll like! Releasing all your pent-up energy helps you and your brain calm down. So while you may not enjoy the actual exercise, you’ll be grateful for the results.

Panchito: “Haha! Well isn’t that a good change?”

~ José is not hyperactive himself. However, he does enjoy the company of people who are. He has many friends who are that way. And he has you, his partner. So while he may not struggle with what you have, he understands it pretty well.

~ He has almost no issues with your traits. He prefers people who can be ��too much’ rather than people who can be ‘not enough’, if that makes sense. He always assures you that there’s no need to be embarrassed by your characteristics. It’s the way you are, and he loves you for it.

(name): “I need to get up and walk around for a bit. I feel like I’ve been sitting for too long.”

José: “Okay.”

José: “Why? It’s not your fault.”

~ That being said, there are some traits that just aren’t good for you. Some examples being: trouble sleeping and focusing, and being impulsive. So José tries his best to help you with those.

~ One of the ways he does this is by making you a schedule. He’s heard that putting a hyperactive person on a schedule can help them out a lot. So that’s what he does. It’s not super strict at all. He just puts things that need to get done.

~ While José knows many things about hyperactive people, he still doesn’t know everything. So if he comes across some new information, he takes the time to make sure he truly understands it. He wants you to feel comfortable talking to him about your hyperactivity, even though he doesn’t have it.

Donald Duck, Three Caballeros, Darkwing Duck, Ducktales and Duck family in Dragon Ball Universe - Duckverse and Dragon Ball - Crossover - Quack Pack Week - Tribute to Akira Toriyama and Dragon Ball - My version

I wanted to do this later, but since I found out last month about the bad news that Akira Toriyama died, I decided to do something special in his honor, but not to cry because I believe that he is safe in the other world and that which left behind a great achievement for all of us who love manga and anime, so I made a crossover of my favorite characters from Dragon Ball or Duckverse in Dragon Ball Universe.

Yes, and in honor of Akira Toriyama, in honor of one of my favorite manga and anime even though the action takes place in China and certainly dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the creation of the best Disney duck, Donald Duck. I drew three separate drawings of the crossover Duckverse and Dragon Ball characters and combined the various Duckverse and Dragon Ball variants into one. I wanted to add more, but not all characters would fit, so I'll post it separately another time. I mean especially the villains.

Akira Toriyama was born on the same day as me, April 5th, but in a different year, which is 1955 in Kiyosu, Aichi, Japan, and he started his career in 1978 working for a Japanese magazine and later published the manga Dr. Slump continues to write and draw the Dragon Boy manga after 1983, so that from November 1984 he writes, draws and publishes the famous Dragon Ball, which will later become very popular and even the most popular in the world. He was particularly inspired by Osamu Tezuka, who created Astro Boy and is the father of manga. In 1986, the Dragon Ball series began airing and it would become one of the best anime I could enjoy. Yes, it will come out through various series like Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Z Kai, Dragon Ball Super, etc. Unfortunately, Akira Toriyama left us on March 1, 2024, and many were affected by this, including me that this happened. Thank you for everything, good man that you have done for all of us! Rest in peace, amen!

The first drawing I drew shows Donald Duck, Jose Carioca, Panchito Pistoles, Aracuan Bird and Drake Mallard as Saiyan warriors along with famous Dragon Ball heroes. Not to be outdone, I drew Duckverse characters that they could relate to and be similar to. So Donald Duck is like Goku (Kakarot), Drake Mallard is like Vegeta (who says OVER 9000!), Panchito Pistoles is like Yamcha, Jose Carioca (Ze Carioca) is Piccolo and Aracuan Bird is like Majin Buu (I don't have to say why ).

Another drawing I drew shows other male characters and boys with other Dragon Ball characters, like Ducktales and Dragon Ball. Scrooge McDuck is with Master Roshi (I don't have to say why), Fethry Duck is with Krillin, Dugan Duck (Fethry's nephew) is with Oolong Pig, Huey Duck is with Gohan (Goku's older son), Dewey Duck is with Trunks (Vegeta and Bulma's son) and Louie Duck is with Goten (Goku's younger son).

The third drawing I drew represents the female characters and girls of Duckverse and Dragon Ball. Daisy Duck is with Chi-Chi (Goku's girlfriend and wife), Morgana Macawber is with Bulma, Gosalyn Mallard is with Videl (Gohan's girlfriend), Lyla Lay (Paperinik New Adventures) and Kay K (Double Duck) are for Launch (in the works about one woman, but with a split personality and one of her natures is good, the other is very awkward).

Yes, I combined from the comics Donald Duck, Duck Avenger (PKNA), Double Duck, Darkwing Duck, Three Caballeros and Quack Pack into one along with various Dragon Ball variants in my own way and drew them to wear the same clothes as in Dragon Ball. Hello, everyone!

Cabs week is a three caballeros event week/prompt challenge that I am trying to make annual!

The dates have been changed if you saw the old post. The original timeline included the actual debut of the movie in Mexico, however, that places us squarely at Christmas which is a very busy time for a lot of people.

The dates are now Friday January 27th-Friday February 3rd, ending on the US release of the movie and squarely avoiding the holidays! (also starting on my best friend's birthday so happy early birthday, Lizard)

This means we'll be skipping Cabsweek2022 altogether! Whoops! #Cabsweek2023 it is!

Set in the Ducktales 2017 universe the loosely constructed narrative of this playlist follows Jose and Panchito's stay in Baia as they try to get noticed. The year is almost over and with it you will be tumbling into the next semester and that is a lot it is a lot there are big feelings like what do you have to show for yourself and you’ve wasted away your summers again and like maybe you could lighten the fuck up

You have a few things going on physically that are kicking your ass and even if you refuse to show it outwardly you have to allow yourself that knowledge

You have to try to be at least as kind to yourself as you would be to an acquaintance you find mildly annoying. You are legitimately harder on yourself than you are on people you know you dislike. Don’t you dare take this as a new shame fixation either. Just be honest with yourself about how you treat people and accept that if your friends can be nice to you you can be nice yto you. It doesn’t have to be valid or mood or so same friend it can just be sincere in a quiet and come t free way.

This is my first time participating so sorry if this is a silly question, but do I have to make a drawing for each day of the week?

Like a José Carioca for each day of the week?

No such thing as a silly question friend! You are more than welcome to participate as much or as little as you can, don't overexert yourself! Fan media of all types are welcome--they can be fan drawings, fan videos, fan fictions, etc! Whatever you'd like! Every day will have a theme or a prompt to fill and each week will have a Caballero to focus on. I will post the calendar with the themes/prompts for each day sometime early next week in order to give everyone a chance to plan out what they want to work on for which day! That way you can choose the day with the theme that inspires you most and give yourself the time you need to work on it! The Caballero in focus for the first week, from September 1-7, will be Jose/Ze Carioca. Ideally, yes, he would be the center of attention for the first week, but other characters can be in the pieces alongside him! So long as he's the focus point. And so on, for Donald week (September 8-14) and Panchito week (September 15-21)! For Three Caballeros week (September 22-28), the only focus point is "The Three Caballeros". So those pieces can focus on one or two or all three (or 4, if you include Miguelito Maracas)! And of course all Three Caballeros IP is welcome for all the weeks, including Zé Carioca Comics IP for Jose Week and Duckverse IP for Donald Week! I hope this answers your question! Before I say. I would like to remind you all, that i started or been do this a while now. Where I do a speedpaint and schedule it on Monday on all social media i have.

Today until revealed at Monday. I will be doing 1942 to 1943 characters. Henery Hawk, Jose Carioca, Tweety Bird, and Chip and Dale.

For next-next week Monday, it will be 1944 and I believe with my bad memory, 1945 characters.

Anyways, I am moving on from the reminder to tell you, that I been reading a good story called Be Alright, which is a story about Daisy cheating on Donald Duck with Gladstone. He learns of this when confronting her. Her excuse was she was lonely with Donald being busy.

Donald gives something to daisy before leaving in tears and arriving home at late night where everyone was concerned. When he told them. Della wanted to cause violence on Daisy, even to the point murdering daisy (didn't happen) Donald stop it and Scrooge told her that she is making things worse for Donald.

Della contact our favorite two Latino Birds as well sharing news. The two had a thing for our sailor duck but was always heart broke when Donald duck dates another. Everyone now didn't like daisy for this. Also to point out. Daisy is college-girlfriend of Donald. I mean ex now. This follows with the same energy with the legend of the three caballeros series on daisy personality.

-daisy smokes when stress. And in the first chapter It was told. So be aware of that information.

On the today update to the story. Della and kids (or everyone) help make Donald breakfast and planned to take the sailor to a festival which nearly bring him into tears of the reminder of their double dates with Mickey and minnie.

Scrooge cheer up Donald duck which helps.

This is borderline spoiling. But all it's about family and friends protecting Donald duck from daisy and make him forget.
