(CLICK FOR BETTER QUALITY 😭)
This looks so bad but i needed pretty pink heart pyjama Cinder.
He’s wouldn’t hurt a fly when wearing them because they’re silk and cost way too much. He hisses when someone tries stealing it from him.
Jordana once put glitter on to it thinking he would be pissed but he literally started glowing in evil happiness.
She also laughed at him when he first wore it but Cinder feels no shame whatsoever. Except when Ras walked in. And they both realised Cinder bought a matching set for both of them. Except Jordana’s was an ugly shade of orange.
She and Ras switched, and they would’ve rather burnt them but Cinder said the price they cost and couldn’t do it. It’s too expensive just to get rid of why does a pair of pyjamas cost so much you could buy a country with that much money.
My normal rant i do every drawing here:
ONSHBEHH, BRO.
I got a new brush and just tried out a bunch of new things with it so i actually wasn’t planning on posting this but
But pink pretty Cinder wouldn’t leave my head.
I NEEDED this.
I even had an interesting harumi and morro idea mid way but had to finish this.
He was originally completely shirtless so drawing the clothes on too was hard, which is why the pyjamas probably look weird.
I still kept the shirtless Cinder underneath.
And now my autocorrect is giving me another Cinder idea 😭
He’s talking do the ninja in this drawing btw.
I had to do so much rearranging because it looked so weird.
Anyways, if any of you saw the hoodies I’ve been designing, I’m still doing those and will complete Zane and Cole’s next. If anyone is interested in that Morro fanfic I’m making I’m getting closer to the end of the first chapter.
Guys yes i know he would murder me but at least he would look pretty whilst doing it. He’s like that one spoilt and pampered rich kid.
He’s like the barbie of ninjago.

I really hope Arin's betrayal arc isn't resolved in one season. I want it to be a series long thing.
I want him to slowly become more and more unwittingly corrupted by Ras until he actually starts believing the things he says rather than just needing him to find his parents. I want there to be multiple run-ins between him and the ninja - namely Sora and Lloyd - where he'd have the chance to go back to them but due to Ras's manipulations plus more revelations shattering his image of Lloyd and the ninja, he chooses to go back to Ras each time. I want him to have his own journey that we actually see (unlike with Jay) that would mirror Sora's journey with Lloyd, but fuel him with opposing ideas about what the right thing to do is and where true strength lies.
I want him to run into other people who think they have been wronged by the ninja and for his hero-worship of them to dwindle further away as he hears other biased perspectives. I want him to drop warnings to Sora whenever they happen to cross paths because even though he hasn't forgiven her he still thinks she'd be better off leaving Lloyd, but then get even more bitter and angry towards her when she defends him, and then saying hurtful things to her in retaliation, about how blessed she is to have so much natural talent AND to have found a family to belong to, how nice it is to not care about her own parents. Of how the Merge gave her everything while taking everything away from him.
And I want him to be given opportunities, near the end of the series (or by season 5 at least if they make it that far), to see the difference between Lloyd and Ras, how Lloyd doesn't give up even when he'd like to, how he tries so hard to save everyone and do the right thing despite what might happen to the people he cares about, and how much of a heavy weight being the green ninja actually is. I want him to hear the full story of what happened to Garmadon, how Lloyd had to say goodbye to his own father for the greater good of Ninjago. I want him to start missing Sora and remembering how much she meant to him, how they were all the other had after the merge, and I want him to realize (perhaps through talking to someone who knew her before like Jordana or her parents) how truly lonely she'd been before she met him. I want him to see that she values him as the most important person and best friend in her life, and that even if Lloyd has to put the world first, there's someone else who would put nothing in front of having him back with her.
I want him to be pushed so far into the dark side that he sees what he's risking by crossing the line and is horrified by it, and only has one more chance to hesitate... and then finally decide to turn back, where Lloyd and Sora are waiting with open arms.

Ok, and that was the end of s2p2 of Ninjago: Dragons Rising.
Lots going on at the end there.
There are Emotions here.
So predictions for next season.
The Fab 5 are going to be the main antagonists. That's pretty much a given at this point. It's going to be a tough fight, but there's going to be only 1 person or being who'll be able to defeat them:
Ras's master.
I still have no idea who or what that could be, but they're this giant looming threat over everything. They are, ultimately, going to be the final threat.
I feel like they've been pulling some strings and really want Arin, not Ras, by their side. And as soon as Arin masters Shatterspin, they're going to ditch Ras.
That's just what I'm feeling rn.
And then there's Jay. Nya and Kai are going to find Jay. I"m not sure if they're going to ever restore his memories. I would love to believe that they'll be able to, but I think there's something lost about Jay's memories that are with Wu.
As in, Wu is somehow keeping Jay's memories from him for his own protection or something.
Oh, wait if Jay knows where Wu is and what's going on with him? Hmmmm. That's an interesting plot thread to go down. I might play with this idea later.
And, finally, the reason Wu caused the Merge. The idea I proposed while watching the episode feels... tangible. Wu caused the Merge bc if he didn't so something the Fab 5 would be unbeatable. They needed Elemental Powers in order to stop them.
This completely contradicts my prediction about about Ras's master being the only thing to defeat them, I know, but my brain is thinking many things and I can't control it.
And we have left now is to wait until the next season is released.
Correct and incorrect predictions below the cut.
Correct
The Forbidden Five caused some problems in the past and were sealed away or something. "Problems" is putting it lightly. Very lightly. It's implied they committed genocide. Multiple times.
The Forbidden Five were the last students Egalt and Rontu had. I had this marked as confirmed, but it's been so long since I last watch that episode to actually say yay or nay.
There is a portal gate at Mysterium. It wasn't confirmed in any of the episodes t appeared, but as it was in the City of Temples Monastery, it's safe to assume it has 1 as well.
Either Kai or Lloyd will be able to do the Rising Dragon technique first. Kai was first, and Lloyd was third. 😊
Something's up with Egalt, and Wyldfyre knows what it is. Sadly, she knows exactly what is is, bc she lost family members to the same disease.
2 members of the Fab 5 escaped and the second 1 is possessing Jordana. I think this was rather obvious to me.
We'll see some old friends at the Tournament of the Sources. We got Tox and Neuro and Mr. Pale and Chamille and maybe some others I forgot about.
Jay is either going to be a random competitor in the Tournament or 1 of the members of the Wolf Army. Por qué no los dos?
Bleckt can't be trusted. The fact I switched from Bleckt to Roby.
Zeatrix will make it decently far into the Tournament. She actually did. Before she lost and tried to kill Lloyd.
By the end of the season, Arin will join Ras. Technically, yes, he did.
Nokt and whoever's possessing Jordana killed the Matriarch. This became obvious. It was less obvious whether or not Ras was in on it or no.
There's a lot of manipulation in the Tournament to either help Ras or the Fab 5. Help in the form of an old man with buttons.
The City of Temples Monastery won't be how they get Kai and Bonzle back. It'll be something with the dragon horns. I'm genuinely surprised that this was the actual solution. Holy canoli.
Nokt and his sister are using Ras. He really is very easy to play with. They were holding a string in front of him and he was batting away at it, believing he was in control of everything this whole time.
Bleckt and Ras have been conspiring, but it has nothing to to with the missing horns. Yeah, their whole plot together was the subplot for the season. Nokt and Rox's plot ended up being the main 1.
Something will interrupt Sora and Nokt's fight. I'm counting Bleckt shifting the platform as an interruption. It wasn't what I assumed would happen, but it did keep Sora from actually winning the round like she should have.
There is going to be a fight between everyone and the Wolf Army. I feel like this was a given.
The rest of the Fab 5 (+ Kai and Bonzle) will be freed at the end of the season. This was another 1 of those things that felt like it was a given.
Jordie is going to get free from Rox. This 1 also felt like it was a given.
Incorrect
Sora is going to struggle with learning the Rising Dragon technique. She didn't even learn it.
Arin is going to do the best out of everyone learning the Rising Dragon technique. *sad laughter into a pillow*
Ras is sacrificing the Writers to keep control of the Wolf Army. Well, he was sacrificing them, just not to keep control of the Wolf Army. Actually, that resulted in him losing control of the army.
Bonzle was the reason none of the Finders could leave the Land of the Lost. She wasn't directly responsible for keeping them there, although she failed to mention that the spell holding them there was gone.
Bonzle was captured by the Administration. Not really... Jay tried, I'll give him that.
Zane, Cole, and Gandalaria won't realize Bonzle's been taken until after the fight. She managed to get away from Jay. Although, it would have been fun to see the 2 of them bonding a little bit.
Bonzle will be rescued. More like, she's going to save Kai from spiraling in the Nether-Realm.
Kai, Sora, and Wyldfyre will free Zane, Cole, and Gandalaria from the library. They were able to come up with a small solution all on their own.
Arin will join Ras at the end of the first half of the season. He made it much longer than that!
Lloyd will have another vision before he and Nya find Arin and reach the temple. He did not.
Beatrix will make a comeback this season. lol
Arin will find a clue as to where his parents are in the City of Temples. Ras saying he knows where Arin's parents are is not a clue. That is straight up manipulation and lies.
Frak is being used to get to the ninja bc of his history with Arin. Honestly, this would have been a good path to explore. But that would have meant that Ras would have to actually talk to his students rather than talk at them.
Zeatrix is the villain of the season. She never even stood a chance.
Wylfyre is either going to be completely oblivious to Roby's flirting and have it pointed out by Sora, OR she's going to notice and flirt back, turning him into a puddle of simp. Or the secret third thing where she's bad at flirting and so is Roby. They're both beans.
The Administrator called for the Matriarch to be killed. Nokt and Rox did that all on their own.
Roby is the 1 manipulating the Tournament. He was a bit too eager to have the ninja participate, and very into having the Most with the Tournament. But he's just a bean.
Nya left to find Jay. She and Riyu got kidnapped by Nokt and Rox.
The Fab 5 did something to sever the connection Nya and Riyu had with Kai and Bonzle. They did, indeed.
Arin will join the Fab 5 at the end of the season, instead of Ras. He ran after them, but he didn't actually join them. He was going after Ras.
Partial
Lloyd's vision is def going to happen. My predictions about exactly what are mostly accurate, but I thought it was Beatrix (like everyone else) and not Zeatrix. So, it sits in partial for being mostly accurate.
Riyu knows something's up with Arin. Sort of? But not really? Not in the way that Arin needed someone to notice that something was up with him.
Something bad will happen to Bonzle and Euphrasia. Euphrasia came out of the Blood Moon Ceremony with only being scarred mentally.
Nya's going to leave the group to go out and find Jay. Well, she did leave the group. And originally it was to go find Jay, but she got a little sidetracked.
Frak and Jordie will join the ninja at the end of the season. Frak did. Jordie is MIA.
Unconfirmed
The Monastery will be destroyed by Ras at some point, officially marking the end of Wu's time as master and the permanent start of Lloyd's. I'm genuinely still waiting for this to happen. It seems very possible.
The 3 Wu Theories: He's the Energy Dragon under Imperium. Or, he's running a tea shop somewhere. Or, he's the Administrator. I have a lot of ideas as to where Wu is at, tbh.
The Administration is playing a part in Ras freeing the Forbidden Five somehow. This all depends on who the Administrator is.
1 of Arin's parents is the Administrator. This would be terrible. I kinda want it to happen.
Wu caused the Merge for a good reason. Something had to happen to either merge the Realms or let them be destroyed. Waiting to see whether this 1 will be right or if Wu truly is evil.
Nokt was expecting someone other than Nya to participate in the Tournament. Someone who's not Kai. This is most likely Kai, but I still kinda feel like he was expecting a relative we don't know about yet.

Jordana isn't one to assign tons of meaning to inanimate objects. She can easily drop everything and move on if need be. However, there is one thing she absolutely refuses to abandon. A very worn out dog plush from her childhood. It's the only part of Imperium she chooses to carry with her, it's the only part of anything she chooses to carry with her.
She also bites anyone who tries to take it.
This came to me in a dream, so it must be true

Thunder bringer
Okay so I like Epic the Musical and when listening to the Thunder saga when it came out, and when listening to Thunder Bringer I thought "Hehe, this could so be a Ras convincing Jay thing," mind you this was pre-DRs2-Pt2 leaks so no actual spoiler just a kinda verbal animatic I made through ✨notation✨, less of an actual analysis.
“Pride is a damsel in distress
Hiding away where only I can undress her
Try all she can not to confess in the end
It's all the same once I
Apply all the pressure”
(in context this line is zeus mocking odysseus so of course he’s comparing pride to a ‘helpless woman’)
In my context pretty much the same thing but it’s Ras mocking Jay in front of the other administration agents
Just imaging him circling Jay as he tries to intimidate him
“Thunder, bring her through the wringer
Show her I'm the judgement call
The one who makes her kingdom fall”
I’m thinking Ras sicks Jordana and Cinder, and the other wolf warriors on the agents and kinda forces Jay’s hand into revealing his power
Also the ‘her’ quickly changes from meaning pride to referring to both it and jay real quickly
“Lightning, wield her, use and yield her
Show her what she can't conceal
For true nature will be revealed”
Continuation of above thought
Tries to convince Jay to join through showing how he could gain by showing the respect/fear he could earn from others
“Tell me, Odysseus
If I were to make you choose
The lives of your men and crew or your own
Why do I think they'd lose?”
Jay doesn’t give two shits about his job and probably doesn’t like most of the agents, finding them annoying or incompetent, but they are all he has so he can’t admit it.
“Enlighten me, King of Ithaca
Since hunger was far too great
I wonder who'd take the weight of the damned
And suffer a gruesome fate to the
Thunder Bringer, here to ring your
Ears until your deaf with fear and
Spear you while your death is near
Lighting wielder, here to yield your
Time for you have passed your prime
Sublime you for your act of crime”
(these last lines are about eating divine cows and getting punished for it, consequences yay)
Once again more battle scenes as jay slowly losing control of his power as he had been repressing it before.
There could be a good chance the administration or just Jay, betrayed the wolf clan or cheated them in some deal so this could be punishment.
[ZEUS, spoken](Ras stand in)
Choose
[ODYSSEUS, spoken](Jay stand in)
Choose?
[ZEUS]
“Someone's got to die today
And you have got the final say
You?
Or your crew?”
[ODYSSEUS]
“Please don't make me do this
Don't make me do this”
-Jay still has a conscience and prefers most consequences of his actions being more of an indirect result.
[SOLDIERS, Penelope]
“When does a comet become a meteor?
When does a candle become a blaze?”
“ (I can take the suffering from you)”-Penelope bit
“When does a man become a monster?
When does a ripple become a tidal wave?
When does the reason become the blame?
(Let me take the suffering from...)
When does a man become a monster?”
-Just imagining all the agents behind him are murmuring about the choice he will make, they slowly are starting to understand though, that they are not surviving this and they slowly start to compare him to a monster
- Also as he deliberates there is just a faceless voice (Nya, of course it’s Nya, granted a vague memory/ idea) calling out to him to chose the selfish option because it will lead to less personal suffering.
[EURYLOCHUS](literally can be any known agent, maybe Prentiss because he works directly under Jay)
“Captain?”
[ODYSSEUS]
“I have to see her”
[EURYLOCHUS]
“But we'll die”
[ODYSSEUS]
“I know”
Jay probably was found with his Yin pendant and later researched the meaning of it, or was told it by another person in the administration from Ninjago. So that plus not caring much for his coworkers, probably means he’d rather risk them for one person who may actually like/love him.
This I think is weirdly consistent with early show Jay at least, selfish mf
He also just needs to know who he is engaged to.
also the guy touches Jay's shoulder and pretty much gets immediately electrocuted after he says "I know"
“Thunder, bring her through the wringer
Show I'm the judgement call
The one who makes her kingdom fall
Lightning, wield her, use and yield her”
Here Ras makes Jay kill his agents by himself to further prove that he has switched sides and because it could be a nicely emotional shot as he leaves everything he’s ever known behind.
“Show her what she can't conceal
For true nature will
be revealed”
Maybe a good close up on Jay’s face as his regret and fear slowly turns into him enjoying the thrill and buzz he receives from electrocuting everyone and finally being free of his personal hell.
I also imaging an electromagnetic field growing around him and engulfing everyone into a kind of electrical storm it creates.
Bonus idea i thought of when we only had the first snippet of song:
“Lightning, wield her, use and yield her
Show her what she can't conceal
For true nature will be revealed”
This little section taken out of context
I just think it would be funny if over this showed a Jay vs Nya fight in the tournament and once she figures out who she’s fighting, and he kinda picks up that she is starting to hold back more. Dude probably thinks she’s into him and doesn’t want to wreck his ‘pretty face’, so he tries to seduce her. Like, mid-fight. It kinda works.
#jay walker#ninjago#ninjago jay#lord ras#that moment when you listen to song and have to relate it to brainrot#I tried to draw this once but my skills left me after trying to do digital art once#brain can not translate idea onto page well

My Evil Arin AU Prediction (Fully Expecting To Be Wrong)
So Arin, caught up in Sora’s lie, believes in the false hope that he has his abilities starting to be figured out. That with Lloyds, Sora’s, and his own minds support, he can be a valuable ninja and be a great asset to the mission to get Kai and Bonzle back.
My prediction of this is that Ras and the gang come up with a plan to revive the blood moon to get the other elemental masters freed. So the ninja after realizing this plan have to return to the dragons to come up with a way to save Kai and Bonzle.
But oh no, Egalt (sorry I still can’t spell his name) still things Arin isn’t good enough.
Arin is by no means arrogant of his own abilities after his success, (that’d be very OOC in my opinion), but he is more trusting in himself and blindly optimistic that he has more of this figured out than he actually does.
He tries to prove this, but no matter what he does, he just can’t get it right.
Even Lloyd starts to get confused. But, you know, Arin could do it, so he has faith in the kid that practice will make perfect.
There could even be a scene where Lloyd tells Arin about his experience of getting possessed by Morro (maybe Euphrasia is also in this scene to give her character development), and how his own master, Master Wu, set him up for something so impossible that Morro became twisted jaded and arrogant in himself to achieve something he couldn’t.
Lloyd is saying this as a warning for Arin. While he by no means thinks Arin is acting the same way Morro was, he had the paranoia that he could. And Lloyd totally knows he isn’t setting Arin up for something impossible. He saw Arin get better and be able to do his tricks. So it’s not an impossible standard. Totally not.
Then there’s Sora, who is trying to keep her distance from Arin, who doesn’t know why. The guilt of what she’s done is killing her, and it’s cost her some sleep knowing that either route she could take could potentially end her friendship with Arin. Keep the lie and watch Arin meet his downfall, or tell him the truth and crush his spirits for good.
After all, she was the one person who since the very beginning believed in Arin. Even when no one else did.
And then she didn’t.
She can’t ever take that betrayal back.
Then, you know, she’s learning Spinjitsu. But Arin isn’t completely bothered by it so long as he’s got his own thing going too.
Arin is obviously hurt by her distance, unsure if there was something he did wrong. But maybe there’s a scene where he pours his heart out to her about their friendship, how their belief in each other is something nothing can undo, and how no matter what is bothering her, she should know very well how forgiving he is.
So she’s ready to be honest and tell him-
And then one of the generals of the villain faction attacks them (and whoever else you want to say is here). For now I’m gonna say Jordana, but anyone can take this slot.
And in this fight, Sora gets knocked down, and Arin is ready to defend her using his object Spinjitsu…
But he fails.
And Jordana reveals to Arin, against Sora’s consent, that Sora lied to him and used her own tech to move that object in that fight. She really taunts it in that his best friend and companion never believed in him and was lying to him the whole time.
How does Jordana know this? Idk maybe she found out in a scene before this.
Arin is obviously so devastated that he’s zoned out and unable to defend himself.
Sora, enraged from Jordana having zero respect, protects Arin and does Spinjitsu for the first time.
Jordana is forced to retreat at Sora’s power, part of that has to do with her anger. And once she’s gone, Sora cools off and tries to help Arin. She doesn’t even care or process that she did Spinjitsu, she’s more concerned about her friend.
But Arin is just… blank. Spaced out. He should be furious at Sora, yell at her and express how absolutely betrayed he feels…
But instead, nothing comes out of him. His feelings towards Sora, or the fight, or everything else is replaced by… nothing. And Sora now being able to do what he can while he’s still him is just icing on the cake that Arin is basically nothing now.
Blah blah, in some other points of the season they can learn more about the elemental masters and the wolf masks and the reveal of Ras’s master.
But Arin is mostly just a spaced out person in the way of all of this, it seems.
Lloyd obviously chews out Sora for her stunt and lying about it, but it’s clear she’s very much aware of the damage she’s done and wants to figure out how to apologize and make it right. She doesn’t know how though with Arin’s condition. Lloyd is quick to forgive her so long as she’s willing to try this apology towards Arin.
Lloyd is also trying to help Arin the best he can. It doesn’t matter to him that Arin doesn’t have anything figured out yet. Lloyd himself didn’t, even when his destiny was written in stone. Arin is just… a late bloomer, shall we say.
This doesn’t help Arin, and even tries to get Lloyd to tell him the ‘truth’. That he is a failure of a ninja. He can’t even help with beating Ras. He can’t even find his own parents…
But Lloyd still refuses to call Arin a failure.
That’s a shred of hope that Arin has that maybe the voices in his head, and Ras, are wrong. As long as his idol believes in him.
Maybe he even expressed how much he misses his birth parents. He misses the life he had before the merge. Even everything made sense. Maybe then he could be a kid DREAMING about these big things and not having to think those dreams would ever come true. That was the simple life.
Then there’s the mission to save Kai and Bonzle. And stop Ras and the others. A plan that’s so tight on the ninjas end that they NEED this to go PERFECTLY. Otherwise, a lot could go wrong.
As such, Lloyd makes the call to leave Arin out of the field part of the mission. Instead he’s gonna be working in the back on comms or something.
Arin tries to convince the others that he wants to be out there and help save Kai, but there’s no convincing the others. They all have agreed to leaving Arin behind for his own good. Especially Lloyd. He lost Kai to this and Kai was a professional. He can’t drag Arin into this and lose him too, if a vision of his is correct. (Maybe he sees Ras grabbing Arin’s hand or something, and he’s come to the conclusion that Ras would use Arin as a sacrifice too)
So they leave, and Arin is stuck on comms.
But eventually, seeing one of them get knocked down hard, Arin decides to refuse the order to stay in place. He goes on the field anyway, ready to prove himself and help the ninja as a ninja.
So far, the plan on the ninjas end is going very smoothly. They got Bonzle out and are ready to get Kai out too, and they’re fending off the villains pretty good…
But then Arin interferes, trying to help. You can decide exactly what he does, Im not sure.
Point is, that because of Arin’s actions, and specifically that, everything goes wrong.
More of the elemental masters get out, (probably using Euphrasia as one of the sacrifices), and not only that, but they are unable to get Kai out of there.
They try hard, very hard, but ultimately… they fail.
Four of the elemental masters get out, and they’re ready for the last one when Lloyd realizes Arin is here and Arin is the cause of this disaster.
Not only were they not able to save Kai, Lloyds beloved surrogate brother, but they also now lost others too (whoever you want to imagine got sacrificed. Pick two more characters you think did alongside Kai and Euphrasia). And it’s all Arin’s fault.
So in a bit of rage and unable to think straight (also from his own mental health issues making him irrational), Lloyd lashes out at Arin.
Arin ruined everything.
Arin didn’t listen to him.
Arin should’ve stayed behind.
Arin doesn’t know what he’s doing out here.
Arin is a failure.
And as soon as that last one gets said out loud, Lloyd snaps out of his rage and realizes what he’s done.
He just confirmed all of Arin’s insecurities. That everyone who said Arin was a failure and a terrible ninja were correct. That absolutely nobody believes in him to do the right thing.
Lloyd IMMEDIATELY regrets it. He immediately tries to take it back! He didn’t mean it! He’s sorry! They’re gonna figure something out! He’s so sorry-
And then Ras gets behind them and knocks away Lloyd. After a short fight, Lloyd becomes the last sacrifice for the spell, all while Lloyd is begging and screaming for Arin.
Arin is obviously devastated by what he’s heard and can’t even process the situation. All the elemental masters are freed and it’s his fault. His idol is gone and it’s his fault.
The very idol that said to his face that he was not good enough.
…was he even an idol anymore?
Arin kneels down to Ras in surrender, ready to be defeated. But he becomes surprised when Ras instead shows pity towards the kid.
Instead, Ras offers Arin a way to find his parents. To go back to his old life and not worry about any of these people who never believed in him.
All he has to do is join Ras and help him out. In exchange, he would spare him and his parents. He even offers the wolf mask to help Arin reach his full potential and become the powerful fighter he saw in him.
And with nothing else left, Arin accepts this deal, allowing himself to be corrupted by the mask.
Almost immediately, his insecurities vanished and are replaced with a sense of purpose, of belonging, of power. With nothing holding him back.
He decides to commit to going rogue and finding his parents with this power. He doesn’t care if Ras wins or loses so long as Arin gets what he wants.
With Arin leaving and now on the dark side, Sora, who I guess was knocked out during the fight or something, realizes what has happened.
It’s not hard to imagine her bawling her eyes out and realizing she just lost her best friend. Maybe she even blames herself.
For the remainder of the season, Arin is just kinda along for the ride with Ras’s forces and the master taking a liking to him and helping him control his new abilities. Maybe he’s able to do the object Spinjitsu without much issue thanks to the mask power. But like I said, Arin doesn’t really care about these villains and their plans, so he’s not concerned which side wins, so long as he gets what he wants.
I’m going to say that Sora, making an army with whoever is remaining, sets up one last fight to rescue the sacrificed ninja.
And TLDR, they win and they’re all fine.
I mean, it’s Ninjago, what do you expect?
The only notable thing is that at some point of this fight, Sora is cornered and most certainly going to get a killing blow by someone, but Arin stops them to ‘focus priority on something more important’.
Even evil, Arin can’t bring anyone, especially not himself, to kill his best friend.
It’s short, but it’s enough that after the fight, Sora says that she knows Arin is still in there and there may be a way to save him in the future.
She doesn’t know how yet, but with her power is a strong responsibility to use it properly this time, and she’s making it her own personal mission to get Arin back. No matter how hard the road of struggle and training is, and no matter how long it takes.
Then of course she has to explain to the others, especially Lloyd, that Arin has turned to the dark side.
Lloyd is the most hurt by this, for obvious reasons.
He failed his student.
He can imagine Wu’s ghost shaking his head in disappointment in Lloyd.
From here on, (season three), Lloyd kinda changes as a mentor. He’s still caring towards the kids, but he’s much stricter on them and very cryptic and demanding of them. Kinda like how Wu was in the first couple of seasons of the main show. It’s obviously taxing on the others. But they also kinda understand how paranoid Lloyd is that he’ll fail another person.
With Ras’s forces defeated and the main members scattered, (whoever you want to say is alive or dead), Arin is alone with a bind of his own to Ras’s master guiding him.
Arin becomes a rogue wanderer searching for answers on where his parents are. And while he doesn’t resort to killing, he still will not let anyone get in his way or let him feel that despair of failure ever again. Not even the ninja.
I expect this to be totally wrong. As I said, I don’t think this theory will come true at all. At most I expect Arin to be turned good again and fixed after like one episode. Whereas this AU theory has Arin’s villainy be expanded further into Dragons Rising where Arin becomes a reoccurring antagonist. But while a villain and having seen a villain origin story unfold, we the audience are still routing for Arin anyway in a pretty twisted kind of way. I don’t know, I thought that’d be an interesting angle instead of ‘And then he became a heartless monster’

Crossed Paths (Pt. 3)
Farleigh Start x black!fem!oc
Author’s note: Ooh things are getting a little bit heated. Also lmk if i should start putting warnings or anything. And leave me feedback as well. I like to know how other people feel about it.
1626 words
Part 1 Part 2 Part 4
Crossed Paths
‘im outside,’ Farleigh texts.
Jordan looks at her phone, quickly checking her outfit in the mirror before leaving. She walked down the stairs and noticed Farleigh waiting outside, leaning on the lamppost.
“Hi, stranger,” Jordan announces herself.
“Hey, Jordy,” Farleigh says softly.
“So where’s this bar at, or shall I say ‘pub,’” Jordan laughs to herself, “I’m hilarious.”
Farleigh looks at her in faux disgust, “Americans, tsk.”
“What, I’m funny,” Jordan responds as Farleigh stares at her, “Mmm, tough crowd, I guess.”
“Anyways, the bar is about a ten-minute walk, so we’ll be there soon, but try to keep up. I know you have short legs,” Farleigh jokes.
“Maybe if one of your strides didn’t equal ten feet, I wouldn’t have to rush so bad,” Jordan rolls her eyes and whispers, “Big ass feet.”
Farleigh gasps, “ I heard that. You can find the bar by yourself.” He walks away dramatically.
“Wait!” Jordan throws her hand out as she tries to catch up with him, “Don’t leave me!”
Farleigh and Jordan enter ‘King’s Arm.’
“Farleigh! Jordan!” Venetia yells while waving her hand.
The two walk up to the siblings. “We already bought a round of drinks,” Felix explains, “Take your pick.”
“I’ve never had beer before,” Jordan says.
“You’re 19, and you’ve never drank before?” Venetia asks
“You have to be 21 to drink in America, Vee, but who’s to say I’ve never drank before?” Jordan continues, “There’s a lot y’all don’t know about me.”
Farleigh leans forward and rests his head in his hands, “Well then, tell us more about yourself.”
The group stares at Jordan expectingly.
“Uh,” Jordan looks around nervously, “Well, firstly, stop staring at me like that.”
The group laughs, “Sorry. You can continue,” Felix insists.
“Well. I’m 19. I was born on April 1 in Houston, Texas. I live with my mom in Houston. My favorite things to do are read, write, and play the Sims 2,” She ponders, “My home university is Rice University in Houston. Still, I’m here for an exchange program. I’ll be here for a year, so…” Jordan trails off.
“Rice is an Ivy League, isn’t it?” Farleigh asks.
“Yeah, my SAT was 1500, I graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA, and I won numerous writing competitions,” Jordan states. The group looks at her in disbelief, “Not to brag or anything,” she clarifies.
“I think you’re the smartest one out of all of us,” Venetia says.
“Don’t say that,” Jordan laughs, her tone slightly uneasy.
“No, really, you’re extremely intelligent. Oxford is going to be easy for you, I promise.” Farleigh reassures.
The group continues to converse until the end of the night, gradually getting louder and more comfortable with each other.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Jordan and Farleigh walk around the town square to pass the time. “Are you going home for Christmas?” Farleigh wonders.
“Farleigh, I just got here. Tickets are way too expensive to return for Christmas. I’ll probably go back sometime in the springtime,” Jordana responds, “What about you?”
“No, I’m staying here. That brings me to ask, do you want to go to the college Christmas party in two weeks,” Farleigh asks while taking out a cigarette, “Do you smoke?”
“No, I smoke other things, though,” Jordan responds with a slight smirk.
Farleigh stares at her curiously, “Like, what?”
Jordan gives a deadpan look, “You know exactly what I’m talking about.”
“Lucky for you, there will be much of that at the party. So is that a yesss?’ Farleigh continuously pokes Jordan.
“Oh my god, yes, I’ll be at the party,” Jordan says while laughing.
“Good, I can’t wait. Now, let’s get you home.”
Jordan and Farleigh continue walking to her apartment while joking with each other. As they strolled through the dimly lit streets, the banter between Jordan and Farleigh continued, filling the night air with laughter.
Two weeks later
“Farleigh, I have to do math tutoring with this asshole in my class. He’s so annoying, like, why is it mandatory for exchange students to do this shit?” Jordan holds her phone between her ear and shoulder while cleaning her apartment.
Farleigh chuckles on the other line, “Who’s the unlucky guy to be graced with your presence?”
“Firstly, die. Secondly, his name is Michael or something. He thinks he’s hot shit because he can do his times table in his head. Do y’all not realize I passed my SAT with a 1500? I’m no dummy. I can’t believe-” Jordan rants until Farleigh cuts in, “Michael Gavey? Yeah, I don’t like him. I think he’s even friends with Oliver.”
“Ugh, of course, they know each other. Honestly, if I have to hear one of Oliver’s lackluster essays again, I think I would rip my eardrums out.” Jordan complains.
“Right on sista,” Farleigh exclaims
Jordan changes the subject, “So party starts at nine, right?”
“Yeah, I’ll be at your place around 9:30. You’ll have more than enough time to be ready,” Farleigh confirms.
“Ooh, I’m so excited. My first English party. My outfit is so cute, oh my gosh. I can’t wait till y’all see it,” Jordan talks excitedly.
“You look good in anything, Jordy. I can’t wait to see it either.”
“Stop, you’re making me blush over the phone. But thanks, Farleigh, I appreciate the compliment.” Jordan says with a laugh.
“I’m just saying. So see you at 9:30,” Farleigh asks for confirmation.
“Sir, yes, sir,” Jordan says before hanging up, excitement bubbling for her first English party.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Jordan walks outside and sees Farleigh, Venetia, and Felix all smoking while waiting for her. She lightly jogs over to them.
“Hi, guys!” Jordan exclaims.
“Oh Jordan, you look so pretty,” Ventia yells, “Do a spin for us.”
Jordan grins and obliges, twirling around.
“You look beautiful, Jordy,” Farleigh says.
“Thanks, Farleigh,” Jordan blushes.
“Did you make the dress yourself,” Felix asks as the group walks towards the commons building.
“Only part of it. The dress didn’t come with the fluffy stuff on it, so I had to sew that on real quick,” Jordan explains.
“A woman of many trades, I see,” Felix jokes.
As they continue walking towards the party, they hear the music getting louder. Farleigh walks next to Jordan and leans down to whisper in her ear, “I got in contact with someone to get you what you want.”
She looks up at him sideways, “Why are you whispering? It's just weed.”
Farleigh stands straight and clears his throat, “I like to be mysterious. Adds to the thrill.”
Jordan chuckles, “Fair enough. How much do they charge?”
“Usually 40, but I got it down to 25,” Farleigh says.
Jordan pats on his chest, “Good job,” She grabs his hand, “Let’s go inside.” They share a laugh as they enter the lively atmosphere of the party.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
The group enters the party, immediately engulfed by the pulsating beat of the music. The room is filled with students chatting, dancing, and enjoying the festive atmosphere. Venetia heads straight to the dance floor, pulling Felix along while Farleigh and Jordan make their way to the bar.
“Are they playing Beyonce,” Jordan yells over the loud music.
“That’s what it sounds like,” Farleigh responds just as loudly.
“Is Lucas here,” Farleigh asks the bartender. “Yeah, he’s over there,” the bartender points to the corner where Lucas stands with friends.
“We’ll be back,” Farleigh yells at the bartender, “Have a round ready.” The bartender nods.
Farleigh grabs Jordan’s hand and pulls her over to Lucas. “Farleigh, what’s up,” Lucas yells.
“You know what I’m here for,” Farleigh digs in his pocket and pulls out 25£.
Lucas looks down at Farleigh’s hand and takes the cash. “Of course,” he puts something in Farleigh's hand.
Farleigh sees four pre-rolls. He nods at Lucas before he and Jordan walk back to the bar.
“Here you go,” Farleigh places two rolls in Jordan’s hand, “You even have one for later.”
“I didn’t think you were gonna pay for them. I’ll pay you back,” Jordan said, putting one of the joints to her lips. “Do you have a lighter?”
“Yeah,” Farleigh takes out his lighter and brings the lighter up to Jordan’s joint. Farleigh holds the flame steady as Jordan leans in, her eyes locked onto his. The soft glow from the lighter emphasizes the features of her face. Has she always had a mole there?
The air between them cackles with an unspoken tension.
As Jordan pulled away, a small smile on her lips, she exhaled the smoke in Farleigh’s face. Farleigh blinks, momentarily caught off guard.
“Let’s take a shot,” she insists as she grabs a glass.
“Uh yeah,” Farleigh grabs a glass.
“Cheers,” They both yell out.
“Now let’s dance,” Farleigh grabs Jordan’s hand and leads her to the dance floor with Venetia and Felix.
The group loses themselves in the rhythmic movement, the colorful lights casting a vibrant glow on their laughter-filled faces. Jordan’s moves are graceful, drawing Farleigh’s attention. Farleigh, matching her energy, moves in sync with the music. They dance close to each other, Jordan’s back on Farleigh’s chest. Jordan turns around, facing Farleigh, who puts his hands around her waist. Jordan takes another drag of her joint and pulls Farleigh’s face closer to hers, their lips almost grazing as she blows the smoke into his mouth.
Farleigh breathes in and exhales slowly, “What are you doing to me?” he whispers.
“What do you mean,” Jordan teases with faux innocence before turning around and leaving to dance with Venetia.
Felix walks up to Farleigh, a knowing grin on his face. Farleigh looks at him and rolls his eyes, “Don’t say anything.”
“I didn’t even say any-” Felix starts.
“Shut up.”
The night unfolds with laughter, music, and the undeniable tension between Jordan and Farleigh.

saw someone give the idea that what if after jay heals his soul & returns to the ninja, what if he has withdrawals from shatterspin? like he’s sweating and practically in rehab, and during a battle ras offers jay a mask again and he has to fight to the urge to take it fuck it was really good
yes yes yes i love the idea that healing your soul is literally like going through drug withdrawals.
i love the concept of ninja and wolf trio (cinder jordie and walker) having to team up even before finding ras and cinder and walker having to go through shatterspin withdrawal - maybe theres like a magic tea or spell to kickstart it but there is still a process of sickness. kinda like zuko in atla had after doing like one good thing lmao
and they stay at the monastery in jays old room, sweating, coughing with a high fever. there are buckets placed for vomit on either side of the bed.
cinder and walker spend most of the time holding hands, just to not be driven mad, a reminder that someone is suffering this right now with you.
jordana spends half the time trying to find a spell, a curse, a ritual, anything to ease them through it. sora tries to talk to her but it ends up in jordana yelling at her and breaking down sobbing. in the time where walker found her, theyve grown attached. hes been an amazing teacher, almost learning alongside the wisdom and revelations hes had.
the other time she spends washing their faces with a cold cloth, trying to keep the fever under control. of course zane has made blocks of ice on crucial temperature points, but she doesnt care. she barely leaves their side.
she only leaves when the ninja force her out - to eat or to stretch or sleep. or when the hallucinations begin.
it would be so so fun for them to have hallucinations - guilt or fear inducing, i dont know. im just rambling here.
the ninja take turns in watching them. sora, wyldfire and bonzle arent allowed in the room.
when its lloyd he cries a lot, quietly as to not disturb them. sometimes jordana cries with him.
when jays lucid enough he comforts them. or tries to. tells them its okay and it only looks that bad, doesnt hurt that badly. after a few days of this he tells them its mainly annoying. they all know hes lying, but it does make them feel just a tiny bit better.
lloyd looks for solace in the fact jays comforting him. as if jay can remember lloyd used to be his kid.
he doesnt do it with anyone else. he doesn't allow nya in the room, almost body slamming her the moment she got too close to cinder and jordana.
cinder seems to only be lucid when theres only the three of them.
jay sometimes stays lucid enough to ask about progress on finding ras, or bonzle, or the weird light. only when cole holds his hand though.

Dragons Rising: Season 2
I'm a little bit more nervous to watch season 2; I like watching things that make me feel happy, and from the brief spoilers I've gotten about this season, this is probably gonna be more sad than anything... But I'll try.
I will be continuing to work on the two pieces I was working on before, so check the bottom of this post if you want to see my progress! (This goes for my season 1 notes post, too, by the way.)
⚠️ Spoilers for episodes 1-5!
Divider by cafekitsune
Episode 1: The Blood Moon
New Jordana look, huh? I don't really like it right now, but I can grow to get used to it.
So are the lines on her face just... permanent?
Good to know Raz has night vision.
Jordana is clearly scared about all of this... I wonder how long it will take for her to switch sides.
The bad guys always seem too distracted, intentionally taking their time to get to their targets. I kinda understand why it was that way for the little phone video in the beginning of the episode, since it's such a cramped space to work with and the movements might cause motion sickness. But with every other fight? No.
Wow, Ryu grew up quite fast.
Fugidove? In 2024?
Holy fuck, the news reporter remembered Pixal? Most of the ninja didn't even remember her. Actually, practically nobody in Ninjago city. He's either a super fan, or the writers completely forgot that fact for this season.
Is Intelligent George a parody on someone? I can't tell.
Did Sora really have to spell that out? Did they just... not think that that people watching the second season had already watched the first? I feel like spelling it out like that will make people not want to go back and rewatch the first season to see what they missed.
Also, with how much bigger Ryu is, I would've thought more time had passed. The way Sora had said that line makes it sound like she just unlocked her true potential instead of it being like... a few months ago or something.
Okay, so now we're on the "Arin really wants elemental powers" thing. He seemed mostly fine with that last season. What changed?
Arin, if you're looking for someone to be talking about those still lost in the merge, why the hell would you watch a Youtuber who only wants to talk about the ninja to sell merch? There are plenty of people that you could talk to; the people you're currently around would be far better to talk to about this. I know that they don't have the solution right now, but they are far more likely to come up with one before a fucking Youtuber.
Sora and Arin are such good friends. Even if their interests are completely different, they still partake in the other's activities, especially when the other is looking blue.
Poor Frohicky, lol
Zane would have already heard and figured out these figures of speech back in like... season 1 or 2. But he's still cute. I like that Kai and Zane are playing the video game together.
The layout of this game makes me think of the TMNT arcade game. Nice touch.
Hm... so Lloyd's getting more visions... or he's having a nightmare... or both?
So... Zane and Sora are gonna get taken down. Is Arin going to rebel, betray them? Beatrix is clearly coming back, which I figured would happen after she disappeared into that merge-quake at the end of last season.
Wu watching over his nephew is nice, but... where's Garmadon? Sure, Wu is probably more iconic and a better teacher, but Garmadon is Lloyd's father. I want to see him again... would he have the same golden glow that Wu's ghost does, or would he have a purple glow or be a purple void?
Also, where's Nya? I don't think I've seen her at all this episode.
Why is Arin's voice so soft now? It's like he's constantly whispering into the mic?
Kreel not even denying that she tried to make their mech explode back in episode 1 lol
Wait is the junkyard ghost Wu?
Wow, that was a small investigation montage.
I like Ryu's teenage model over the baby one, but he reminds me a little too much of Toothless.
That old lady shaming those throwing away a good dragon... but not taking the dragon? Oh, come on; she would've totally tried to take Ryu back home with her. It's an old lady thing.
Oh my god, Arin stop self-pitying; this is not the time.
Arin, they will be proud of you; you're a ninja.
Lloyd's gonna have a heart attack.
Woah, the camera during this fight is really wobbly. It actually feels like Arin, Sora, and Ryu are in danger.
The actual panic in Lloyd's voice.
Give me the smoke guy's name. I need it. He's really cool.
Episode 2: Shattered Dreams
Wait, the writers of destiny are still a thing? I would've thought that they would have disbanded after it was proven that writing the future didn't actually mean anything.
Their idea of fun is bagels? Yeah, I can see it.
Wait, so their entire religion isn't completely founded on made up bullshit?
Lloyd, why would you drink that?
Sora, you sound like Raven Queen.
Arin, that's robot-ist. In front of Zane? Really?
Y'all are in broad daylight. So much for being ninja.
Everybody judging Sora's graffiti, including Zane lmao
Hitting Zane in the head with a non-magic teapot lmfao
The Gong of Shattering is such a terrible name.
Poor Arin, lol
Oh, no. This is Arin's undoing. He's gonna hit the gong in order to try and get an elemental power, he'll turn evil, and then fight beside Raz. I'm calling it now!
I really enjoy Percival's character now. He's learning, he's helping out, and he seems to be kinder than when he was under Beatrix's rule. I think the rebellion was good for him.
The Master Writer was so scared, he didn't even try to run. Wow. Anyone will let the bad guys overthrow them, huh.
Euphrasia should seriously train with the other ninja; she's far too weak to be looking after a kingdom alone. (Yes, I know that they're making all the ninja really bad at fighting to make it look like the smoke ninja is way stronger than them, but still.)
It's not called the Blood Moon for anything good. Is it ever?
You're supposed to be sneaky; that glowing green spinjitzu is not sneaky in any way.
Why did Euphrasia have to say that? She could have looked relieved instead of saying that terribly said "Thank goodness your okay!"
Zane, that doesn't answer shit. A written language can't look evil. That's the dumbest shit I've ever heard.
Should Euphrasia even be here to save the Master Writer? She's using a crutch. Actually, does literally everybody have to be here for this? Bigger groups are hard to be stealthy with, and most of them aren't really being useful. They should've picked three to go in while everyone else stays behind as back up.
So Raz was the reason the worms turned evil last season. Hm...
I'm still not over it. Why is Ryu here? It should've been Lloyd, Arin, and Zane; Lloyd because he needs to confirm his visions, Arin because he's really foreshadowing something, and Zane to confirm the stupid language thing. Euphrasia would've been a good choice to bring if she wasn't using a crutch. Everyone else is just... here for no fucking reason except to just listen to the Master Writer. They're not really hiding, so any of the wolf-masked characters could easily find them. They didn't bother animating anyone except Lloyd and Arin going up the wall; they all just kinda teleported. This is bothering me so bad. (Not everyone has to be here to listen. The three that would've gone could've spread the information off screen so it didn't become too repetitive.)
See, I fucking told you. Now Lloyd's having another panic attack.
Why did the gong only affect the wolf-masks? Is the detail I missed that they have to be wearing the wolf mask to be affected by the gong? That seems dumb.
Lmao Kai
Woah, Zane glitching.
Episode 3: Beyond the Phantasm Cave
Wait, where did Kai's mech come from?
Of course when Lloyd asks for an answer, the source dragons come.
Wow, that source dragon from season 1 is so convincing, he convinced the other source dragons within seconds.
Why wouldn't Sora believe Lloyd after all of this?
Aw, Kai checking on Wyldfyre.
Nya, you trained under Wu for how long? You would know that, yes. He would bring you guys somewhere based on half-understood dreams.
Why is Zane always the one to keep an eye on the ship? Ugh.
"Now it sounds like the rotor sneezed!" Lmao Lloyd
It's sweet that Sora and Arin are talking to each other about fond memories, but... why? This came out of nowhere, and they just arrived at their destination. The writing here feels a little clunky.
Aw, now they all have grappling hooks.
Wow it sure took those snake things a while to come out to try and kill them.
Uh oh, Kai's powers not working very well...
Is this like the future telling ice thing in the original series?
Sora that is quite clearly static. How the hell did you think that was Kai?
Oh man, it's all their worst fears...
Oh, shit... The Jaya thing I've seen fanart for.
Poor fucking Nya... this is foreshadowing.
They have airjitzu. They could take the jump a lot more carefully.
Episode 4: Force From The East
Ooh, finally! Back to Cole.
God, Geo and Cole are so fruity.
That was a mouthful of exposition. They could've had a mini flashback of that moment from last season when Cole left and followed Wu. Sure, Geo didn't see that, but this show has never shied away from showing other character's perspectives during flashback sequences told by another character.
Geo being worried about Cole.
They're such an artistic family.
Bonzle is gonna make Geo panic.
Kai and Nya working together is sweet.
Me, too, Arin. Me, too.
The dragon speaking English instead of using telepathy or whatever.
"Should we... ask them what they want?" "Sure. What do you want?" *Gets obliterated* Lmao
Geo's so silly.
Finally; Cole comes to the rescue!
Bonzle's hiding something... I'm not sure what just yet. But she knew that they could leave when they previously couldn't.
Why does Zane have a Frohicky plushie? I'm so confused.
Why isn't Cole surprised to see Zane?
"- why do you have a frog-man-doll?" "It is a long and barely comprehensible story." I love them.
So that's why I thought the Glacier reunion was so... weird and terrible. They're in the middle of a chase scene.
I like how Zane tries to decipher what the problem is by examining his face... I'm so normal about this pairing, I swear.
I like how this episode is split into the stuff that Lloyd and crew were doing and Cole and family were doing, but I focus on just the Cole and family stuff. Mostly just Cole and Geo. They're family is really sweet and care about one another so deeply. Fritz and Spitz need more to do, though; they're kinda just... kids in the middle of everything, but they seem to be as strong and fast as the rest of their family, so... idk
Episode 5: The Spell at the Waterfall
Ah, the Zane and Frohicky side of the plot.
I understand what Frohicky is trying to accomplish, but Zane has already gone to him if he has a problem with the things he's doing. That's just the kind of guy Zane is. This tactic might have worked better with Kai or Lloyd.
Zane whacking the bad guy with the stupid fucking doll lmao
Why wouldn't Bonzle have told them earlier? Lmao what a mouthful.
Oh, so that kinda makes sense... kinda. For Bonzle to know when the could leave. But she would've sensed that opening a long time ago, and probably would have looked more worried throughout the beginning of last episode.
See? The entire Cole and Geo family is artistic.
Bonzle met Master Wu?!
Kai and Nya are so epic.
So, wait. i thought Wu would have taken her to meet the ninja, but I guess not?
Aw, Cole and Geo getting emotional about Bonzle's story.
"This reminds of the old days. Count me in." "That's what I'm talking about." Ugh... I love them too much...
So is one of the source dragons helping Raz? Or am I going crazy?
Of course, there are some critics I have. But I'm liking this so far, even with how often Lloyd was getting panicked and the amount of foreshadowing to future episodes I was getting. Still a little nervous about what's coming, though...

hikari thing part 2
again, this is me going through the entire oc ask game list and writing about Hikari. It’s a long one. I have a lot to share!
"Opinions on lying, stealing, and killing?" Not the biggest fan... But she'll do it if she deems it necessary (or if Romeo asks)
"Temper? What makes them mad?" Hikari surprisingly has a low temper. She has the sort of supremely indestructible chill that comes with being an immortal. That's not to say she can't get annoyed or angry or grumpy, but most things just roll off her like water off a duck's back. However, there is one thing that angers her. And that's Chaos. After being told that he was the one really responsible for Romeo's death, she vowed to kill him if she ever crossed paths with him.
"Can they drive?" No. Full stop
"Favorite place to be?" Wherever Romeo is. Besides that, probably.. Just outside, exploring and meeting new people!
"Do they sleep well at night?" Oh, absolutely not. Hikari is the epitome of that one friend who does not sleep. After Bedman's death, the sensation of sleeping reminded her too much of him, and she began trying to keep herself from sleeping out of fear. If she ever did fall asleep, she'd usually wake up crying and calling for him. Basically, she developed somnophobia.
"Their voice? Can they sing?" It's funny- l've been developing Hikari for a while and I still never really found a proper voice claim for her! Well, I think she'd sound something like Jordana in the Summer's Over album, plus maybe Madeline from Cults.
"Any creative hobbies?" Hikari is very passionate about dancing, and she also plays guitar! She's also an amateur singer, but she can be a little bit shy about it sometimes.
"How good is their eyesight? Hearing?" Both are slightly elevated. Because cat
"How do they move?" Hikari is rather light on their feet, their dexterity and flexibility being her strong suit.
"Favorite sport?" No not really.
"How do they show their love for someone?Or dislike?" Hikari is very, very affectionate. When she loves someone, she shows it in all sorts of ways. Lots of affection, slight protectiveness, trying to make them laugh and following them around... Cooking is also another big part of her love language. She usually tries to be as nice as possible to everyone, so if she's not being her usual bubbly self around you, she probably dislikes you.
"Are they associated with an element?" Unless you count the pure force of an unrestrained soul as an element, then not really.
"Do they have a notable scent?" Ocean air, vanilla, and candle smoke. The candle smoke scent mostly comes from their magic.
"Do they like giving or receiving gifts?" Hikari’s alright with pretty much willing to do anything that makes someone happy. If they like gifts, she's make sure to go all out and try to get the perfect gift! Getting gifts always makes her heart melt, even if she feels undeserving. She's a big fan of any kind of heartfelt gifts, but she has a soft spot for flowers, accessories, and plushes.
"Odd but not self-destructive habits?" Due to her lack of pain receptors and slightly inhuman flexibility, she occasionally sits in the most casually insane positions. She also sometimes ends up floating around aimlessly while talking.
"How do people around them describe them?" Bubbly, friendly, happy-go-lucky, and those who have seen her grief may also describe her as surprisingly unstable. Romeo describes her as obnoxious and annoyingly clingy, as well.
"How do they describe themself?" Hikari doesn’t see much value in herself. Ditzy, scatterbrained, emotional, “a dumbass.” Those are all common words she uses to describe herself. There are times when she appreciates her own values, and even a few times where she’s described herself as someone strong.
"Do they ever return home?" No. She can’t return home. She has no memories of it or of the fact that it was destroyed decades ago. However, that doesn’t matter. She’s found a new home, that’s here. With her friends, her work, her passions, and the person she loves most.

uhhhhhhh
redemption way:
odon realises hes been manipulated by the overlord all this time and betrays him (after a lot of thinking ab their relationship n why she follows him. doesnt turn rigth away.) helps the ninja to get away by making their army turn away from and saving other civilians from the crystal army. very nervous to confront overlord.
odons emotions bubble up from all the stress and it lashes out at overlord instead of garm rumi n lloyd. dont get to kill him as their energy was drained out by the crystals but make an opening for the others to attack him. after defeating overlord run away to the forest and have a breakdown.
doesnt know what to do with her life post crystalized.

(—) ★ spotted!! MICAH KENNEDY on the cover of this week’s most recent tabloid! many say that the 22 year old looks like HERO FIENNES TIFFIN, but i don’t really see it. while the RETIRED ATHLETE/REALITY TV STAR is known for being AMBITIOUS my inside sources say that they have a tendency to be ALOOF i swear, every time i think of them, i hear the song LOSING MY RELIGION by R.E.M { he/him, cismale}
the statistics
name: Micah Kennedy age: Twenty-One dob: April 1, 2002 gender: Cismale sexuality: Pansexual occupation: Olympic Swimming Gold Medalist for 50m Freestyle - 2020 Olympic Games, Olympic Swimming Gold Medalist for 100m Freestyle - 2020 Olympic Games, Olympic Swimming Gold Medalist for 100m Butterfly - 2020 Olympic Games, Olympic Swimming Gold Medalist for 4x100m Medley - 2020 Olympic Games, Olympic Swimming Gold Medalist for 4x100m Freestyle - 2020 Olympic Games Reality TV Star - Current, Pianist - Current parents: Jordana Kennedy, unknown father siblings: Madeline Kennedy (twin, 21), Wednesday Kennedy (5) swimming career claim: Caeleb Dressel (minus the Rio de Janeiro Games)
the history
Growing up on camera would have thought to have made a bigger impact on Micah’s life than he let it. From a young age he was trained to have no qualms of the spotlight and made zero fuss when it came to his family’s hit reality tv show. To him, it was just another day at home.
At three years old, no one could keep him out of the ocean. His fascination with swimming and the water was unexplainable but it wasn’t long before he was enrolled in private swimming lessons.
At five years old he made the resolution to go to the Olympics and spent his entire life training to do so. It was amazing when he qualified for the 2020 Olympics at only 17 years old and even more of an accomplishment when he went on to win 5 gold medals, adding him to the list of only four other Americans to win that many in one Olympic Games. Also became the first male swimmer to win gold medals in the 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle and the 100m butterfly in the same games.
tw: car accident In July of this last year, Micah was out with his sister at a party. She had gotten a bit out of control and Micah jumped into the car with her to stop her from driving away. She did so anyways and ended up crashing it. Micah ended up having to have surgery on his knee, which got completely twisted around during the accident, and his shoulder suffered a tear in his rotator cuff. The doctors had identified that the shoulder problem had been ongoing for a while, just escalated from the accident, but thus confirmed that he would need years of physical therapy to be able to walk normally again and couldn’t clear him to compete in swimming any longer – ending the career he spent his entire life working towards.
This pushed the already recluse of the Kennedy family further into a hole, finding it hard to get out of bed. The best therapy – both physically and mentally – was started and Micah tried to get back to his life as little as he could.
His therapist suggested picking up a hobby and piano seemed to be the only thing that stuck. Now all of his time is dedicated to mastering the skill and trying to grow from there.
Though he doesn’t state it, Micah is resentful of both his sister and being a Kennedy. He loves his family, truly and dearly, he doesn’t understand how she could put either of them into the situation and why this was the one thing that his family name couldn’t solve. He had tried to make a name on his own and it was thrown back into his face.
updated information ( TW pregnancy, TW NICU , TW depression , TW suicidal thoughts ): after his accident, Micah spent weeks trying to get around feeling like he didn't belong. imposter syndrome overtook him as he felt as though he didn't fit into the Kennedy mold, was selfish for how he had originally broken up with Melrose Levington, selfish for hurting Archie Sinclair, the whole nine yards. It wasn't until he had a breakdown to his mother, Jordana Kennedy, who helped him get into a therapist and into programs -- which worked for a little while. That was until he found out that Melrose was pregnant and after a paternity test it was found that he was the father of her unborn child. After a rather easy pregnancy, their daughter was born suddenly months early and little miss Juniper Levington-Kennedy has been in the NICU fighting for her life.

losing my religion
things to note
When he was younger, he was attached to Jordana’s hip. He’s a complete momma’s boy and would do anything for his mother -- including putting up with having a camera in his face at all times.
Definitely has mastered the art of looking as impassive as ever. He is a bit standoffish, which is a mask he puts up to deal with people who are using him for his family’s fame or simply because he doesn’t like you. Dealer’s choice, really.
Deathly afraid of koalas. Don’t make him go on a tangent about it.
He’d never admit it but he’s afraid to get in cars after the accident and is often seen being driven as little as possible before walking to ‘help out with his knee’
Right now always has a cane with him to assist him in walking but he’s hoping to be rid of it sooner rather than later.
Depressive boy, doesn’t know what to do with his life or fix it so he started hyper fixating on the next big thing in his life.

Dr Jordana Zielinski, better known to the general public as the villainess Rusalka, first found out about her powers in an extremely violent way that is not at all indicative of her conduct for the rest of her life.
The fact is, her boyfriend was trying to drown her in a swimming pool. An extreme reaction was perfectly understandable, in that context.
To be fair, Jordana had started dating him for his money, not for personality. She was seventeen years old at the time, the 90s in Poland, and came from a pretty poor family.
She had spent her childhood cramped in a small rented apartment with her parents and three siblings, contending with them the scarce and cheap toys they received exclusively for birthdays; their food was mostly brought by ration cards issued by the government; her idea of the Adult World was complaining and worrying about lack of money, and she remembered well the uproaring laughter her brother had attracted when, still young and naive, he had mentioned going to university. Their future perspectives were as cleaning ladies, waiters, truck drivers, manual workers, to live in conditions just as underpaid as their parents, or perhaps join the emeigration flux. Rinse and repeat with the new generations.
Jordana's siblings had seemed to more or less accept this as their fate; but Jordana had always dreamed of luxury. She read on whatever foreign magazine shhe could get her hands on about the latest fashions, alluring makeup, and the glamorous, far away life of TV and movie stars. She had never told this anyone, but she spent so much time daydreaming of being in their place.
By the time Jordana went to high school, a lot of socio-economical changes had incurred, which had improved the life of a precious few while mantaining most in their previous status. In practical terms, this resulted in Jordana meeting Albert Kowalski. Well, meeting is a big word: she had become one of the many, many first-year girls swooning over this boy, one year older than them, who already seemed a fully realized man.
Son of an important politician, grown up in a mansion which living room was bigger than Jordana's whole apartment, and which had a garden with a recently-built swimming pool; he had never wore anything that wasn't foreign label since he had dismissed diapers; every year he travelled with his family to distant, exotic beaches in the summer and dazzling mountain resorts in winter, and he had already seen most of the European capitols when he had begun high school. Those who had been invited to parties at his house swore he had video games.
To his credit, Albert wasn't a miser with his good luck: he regularly threw parties for his 'friends', meaning most of his class and several others both juniors and seniors, to partake in the famous mansion, give a try to the video games, take a swim in the wonderful swimming pool, and drink to levels their parents would never have known about, or so they hoped.
Sure, there were other voices about him, which grew from year to year. He and his closest group of friends had taken to beat up quiet, introverted kids in their junior classes; something had happened that had forced one of the presumed 'victims' to switch schools; one had a cigarette burn on his cheeck, and refused to say who it was that had done it to him. But who could know for real? They were just rumors, surely exaggerated, and Albert was cool, he always invited everyone to so many exciting things!
Jordana, who had spent her first two years of high school in relative anonimity, found herself growing so much more pretty by the time she was sixteen. In fact, one of the prettiest girls at school! So many boys turned their head when she passed by in the corridors, so many boys tried to ask her out, to chat her up, to get a little of her attention. But she didn't care much for them: because Albert Kowalski himself had noticed her, and offered her dates in fun, cool places, and soon she had become his actual girlfriend!
For a while, she felt like her dreams had come true. She was regularly invited to the beautiful mansion; she went out with him on his motorbike; she received a design dress for her seventeenth birthday. He was charming, confident, smart, always ready to compliment her and say the right words to make her feel like the most special girl in the world.
For a while. Then the first putdowns came. Comments on her weight. Comments on her clothing. Sarcasm about the status of her family, and this was what created the drift. She actually had felt ashamed for the comments about her appearence, thought she would have had to put herself on a diet, to try and make her cheap clothes look more elegant, so as to not cause him a poor figure. But her family? Nobody of them could help the conditions they had born into. Her parents hadn't given them much luxury, sure, nor much affection or emotional support, but they had made sure they never got truly cold or hungry! How was it possible that her boyfriend, so nice, couldn't understand it?
He never listened to her on this. At first, he told her that he was just joking, and that she needed more of a sense of humor; when he kept dismissing her family, and she kept arguing against him, then the problems grew worse. He began actually insulting her. Yelling at her. The remarks on her appearence, weight, intelligence grew more frequent. And this drove her nuts. What had happened? He was so kind and caring at the start, how had he turned out like this? Was it her fault? No, she had only argued against him and tried to get him to see her perspective! It wasn't enough for such a change!
But things kept changing, for the worse. During one of their arguments, he hit her on the face. He looked more hurt than her by this, and quickly gave her all of the apologies, reassurances that he didn't know what had gotten into him and it wouldn't have happened again, flowers and a lovely necklace as an apology gift. She had been so shocked by how sudden all of this had been, that she didn't really know how to react. She had accepted the apologies, and stayed with him.
But it wasn't the last time. He hit her again, and again, and then Jordana was sick of it. She didn't care anymore about his apologies, his charm, everything he had to offer. She was dumping him, forever.
Jordana made one critical mistake when announcing this decision: she was at his mansion, with no one else around, next to the swimming pool. He had just slapped her once again, but the look in his face when she announced her decision to break up with him was something she had never seen before. The next moment, she was thrown on the ground, her head under the water of the pool, his hands around her neck.
Her memories of the first time she used her powers were confused. There was so much water, in her mouth, in her lungs, and she couldn't get Albert off her, and she was about to die, and then, and then the water surged and grabbed her assailant, dragging him down. She didn't even ask herself how that was possible, all she cared about was that he stayed there, far away from her as she ran like never before in her life. The water obeyed: Albert Kowalski remained there until, a couple hours later, his parents returned home and, among scream and cries, dragged his corpse out of the swimming pool.
-
That of Albert Kowalski was the one and only murder 'Rusalka' ever committed, and it had been entirely involuntary. In the following days, Jordana couldn't even really believe it had been her: sitting in front of the policemen, she shamelessly lied and claimed she had gone away earlier than the presumed time of death of her boyfriend, because of an argument. She didn't make a word about the attempted strangling: if she had given them reasons to suspect her, even for self-defense, Albert's family lawyers would have eaten her family alive. The investigations thus reached a dead point, with no signs on the corpse of an external force keeping him under the water. The police concluded he had felt suddenly ill while taking a swim, and accidentally drowned.
The whole school went in mourning for Albert's passing; hundreds of candles and flowers were placed outside the graveyard, lamenting the sudden and tragic end of his young, brilliant, promising life. Jordana herself didn't cry a single sincere tear: she pretended to avoid seeming suspicious, she accepted the condolences she received as his girlfriend, but she could only think to what kind of monster he would have become if he had lived. That, and wondering if she had actually caused his death.
The following week she spent most of her earnings on a two-days trip to a lake city. She reached the lake in the middle of the night, with nobody in sight, and there, she tried to command the water.
She could. The tides stopped moving according to the natural laws and bent to her will, the lake started splashing, retiring, creating new shapes among the waves, evaporating and then coalescing back into water. Jordana was confirmed as having superpowers.
The first thought she had, was that yes, she was responsible for the death of Albert Kowalski. This didn't make her feel very guilty. The second thought she had, was wondering how to use her powers to get the great life she had always dreamed of.
-
The slacking, unmotivated student Jordana Zielinski had been suddenly and unexpectedly became an ace in chemistry. She spent most of her days studying molecular composition and scomposition, especially regarding fluid bodies; she began using the local library for independent study of it. Her grades became better and better, to the pleased approval of her teacher and the vague worry of her parents, who feared she was thinking about university; to which Jordana smiled and said that sure, she was actually thinking of a chemistry degree, but only when she would have amassed enough money to allow it.
A few months after, the richest families in town began suffering from a string of unexplainable burglaries. Someone broke into their houses, helped themselves to their valuables, and then ran away. So far it's normal, the curious thing is that there was no sign of effraction. No alarm ever sounded, no security camera ever recorded someone approaching the house gate, no dog left in the garden ever barked. The police and the local hero community soon began to suspect a superpowered villain, and launched an investigation on their database, especially regardin villains with teleportation abilities.
Nobody was in a position to link this to a teenager's sudden proficiency in chemistry.
-
After just a few years of small apartments shared with a number of other girls and cheap meals and clothes, of low paying jobs and long hours of study, she was now Dr Jordana Zielinsky, majored in Chemistry.
She had transferred abroad to get to university, and this had helped things somehow: after university taxes had finished siphoning out all her black market earnings from the goods she stole, she could finally pay nicer places to be and things to have for herself. She found a job as a science teacher in an American high school, and when people asked about her eccentric lifestyle, she simply handwaved it as presents from a rich family.
Those were some excellent years. Rusalka, as went by the 'action name' she had taken soon after discovering her powers and by now referred to herself more often than her birth name, had now rented a whole apartment all to herself. And what an apartment! So many spacious rooms, so many big windows looking on a nice residential quartier in center city, with s eplendid, large balcony to match. It had been all hers to furnish, and she had had a wild time with that. She had takene her time chosing carefully from the most expensive, stylish furniture brands, to get her place an air of sophissticated comfort and warmth.
She had renowed her wardrobe, now consisting of elegant, smart designer suits and flowy dresses, never too bold or eye-catching, but impressive for their class. For the first time in her life, she had access to real jewelry, actual gold and silver and transparent gems, to try out and match with outfits. It was like she herself was her own beautiful doll, with so many exciting ways to accessorize.
She went on vacations. She finally saw with her own eyes shining white beaches and seas as transparent as gemstones, admired high and solemn mountain peaks from the comfort of a resort suite, and she never once felt out of place. She travelled to cities of historical and artistic interest, probably learning more things in each one than she had ever bothered to do back at school.
Yes, those were fun, exilarating years. Of course, they couldn't last for really long. The heroes, now of the American community, were on the prowl for whoever kept infiltrating houses of rich people to run away with their most expensive valuables, and it didn't take long before the usual teleporting suspects were cleared. They soon realized there had to be a new supervillain around, and her lifestyle, so incredibly lavish for a simple high school teacher, started seriously attracting some attention.
Appearently, someone bothered to run a background check on her, and discovered a family whose only material wealth consisted in presents they had gotten from her. It was clear that she had some activity on the side; and it was her chemistry specialization that gave the detectives some ideas on her modus operandi.
Admittedly, the ability to manipulate the molecules of whatever was in a fluid of whatever sort, including dissolving and recomposing her own body and stolen goods, wasn't a very intuitive power; but the hero team who got her the first time was somehow convinced that she could turn into dust and break in via air ducts. They had basically surprised each other, but the ensuing fight had been quick: once they had blocked each and every escape Rusalka could have had, she had voluntarily surrendered and consigned herself to the authorities. She was in for a lavish lifestyle; she wasn't in for truly hurting anyone to get it.
-
Things didn't look much up after she was deported back to Poland for her trial. Not only for her theft, but because the discovery of her powers had reopened the closed case of Albert Kowalski, now that there was concrete proof that she could have committed his murder.
The case shook the public opinion quite a bit: not only in the intervening years people had started sharing childhood stories about how the deceased wasn't that great of a person, rather dangerous and violent, but his own family had been involved in scandals. People were divided between believing her a murderous gold digger, or a poor infatuated kid who had lashed out in self-defense.
Frankly, Rusalka had no interest in defending herself in front of a court, or prove anything about a guy who was now in the process of feeding the worms. She wanted to leave the overpopulated, filthy, squalid prison and go back to the lovely lifestyle she felt she had just gotten a taste of.
Besides all these pleasantries, the prison was also underfounded, and unable to hold in many superpowered criminals. One day, she simply dissolved herself in the showers, and escaped through the sewer system.
-
In the thirty years that followed, Rusalka established herself as a notorious international supervillain.
This isn't to say that she was feared. The heroes had caught on by now: Rusalka had her own code.
She never killed. She never even truly fought: when she was cornered, even if she was alone against a hero less powerful than her, she would surrender rather than get into a fight and risk harming someone. No prison could manage to held her for long anyway.
She never caused any major damage to infrastructure, that wasn't her kind of crimes. She had never even truly caused serious problems for someone: she never robbed anyone poorer than she was, nor anyone who would have had problems recovering from a financiary loss. All she did was simply lifting a few jewels and art pieces here and there, to put them on the black market and get enough money to get the life of a movie star for a few weeks.
As for the woman herself, she felt as if she was living at the maximum. She moved frequently, never staying too long in the same place or even in the same State; she usually presented herself as a client to some luxury hotel, and paid for her stay by infiltrating other suites and selling the expensive jewels and watches of some fellow tourist.
She had to frequently change her appearence to avoid being recognized, but she found it actually fun. She got to try all the newest trends of hair styles and colours, all the new designer makeup to present an always different visage. She had to change her wardrobe frequently, but extensive shopping was seen as nothing unusual for women who could allow themselves to reside at the high-end hotels and dine at the finest restaurants even alone.
If Rusalka had to pinpoint a downside in her lifestyle, it was the loneliness. She didn't miss a sentimental partner: after Albert, with whom she had probably never been in love as much as taken in by the luxury he represented, she had never had anyone, and she really had no problems with that. She missed having friends: in the environments she moved in, meeting people was meeting new potential victims, and she couldn't allow herself to get too close to someone who could have figured out her identity and denounced her to the authorities. There was no one she could confide in, no one to share with her the thrill of adventure and a theft well done, or even the everyday pleasures of a economic wellness she always felt so new.
Ironically enough, the people she was genuinely friendlier with were the heroes. They already knew who she was, they were already going to bring her to the police, so there was no pretension involved. They already knew she didn't like violence, and had never done anything truly reprehensive, and she was such a breath of fresh air from the usual world-ending, mass murderers and brutal serial killers that they were actually friendly towards her.
In a few occasions, Rusalka had even collaborated with them. She had found, in one of the houses she was robbing, documents implying a senator in a human trafficking ring; in another, she had personally witnessed a TV star viciously beating his wife; in another, proof that a leading politicians was receiving briberies from a local weapon industry. In these cases, she had spontaneously gone to the resident Hero Association, and denounced the facts. She had ended up in jail too, but in at least one case, the rich and influential monster had actually gotten what they deserved.
All in all, Rusalka was a liked, even respected villain in the international superhero community.
-
All of this didn't explain very well why Rusalka was currently crouching behind a half demolished wall, with a hero with explosion-based powers looking around for her.
She had been in the middle of one of her heists, and the guy had showed up to arrest her. She had greeted him pleasantly before hightailing it as usual, but he had blasted the shower, her favourite getaway place, before she could even get close. And then he had kept the blasts coming, with the clear intention of hitting her.
Rusalka had been forced into a disordered escape, while the blasts demolished the house all around her. Seriously, what was this guy on? Was it safer to consign herself directly with no further resistence? Would such a person even care that she was surrendering and stop his attacks?
Time out for the decision. The hero had found her. His hands lit up, preparing a blast; she immediately raised her own.
"I surrender" she declared. "I won't try to escape you. You can take me to the nearest police station, I won't make any resistence"
He raised his hand, preparing to throw. "You would just escape again. You always do"
"True" she admitted. "And you think this is worth killing me over?"
"You are an irredeemable, amoral monster" he declared, and let out his blast.
Rusalka threw herself to the side, and focused on the idraulic system. The water, her oldest and only ally, once again rose to her aid, bursting out of the tube and drenching both the hero and the explosion, stunting the latter and stunning the former.
Rusalka jumped to her feet. "Now this is enough!" she yelled. "Now you calm down and explain me what all of this is about, because it is a recent thing you young heroes came up with and I don't think your pathetic one liner justifies all of this!"
The hero looked taken aback, like a child scolded by his mother. Looking at him better, Rusalka could see he was actually very young. Maybe even seventeen, the same age she had discovered her powers. Did they really let kids so young into the fray?
He wasn't the first, as she had said. Recently, a new wave of fresh young heroes, different from the old generation she was acquainted with, had started coming at her with all their might. First a girl who could manipulate sand and had tried to bury her, then a guy who could control plants and had tried very hard to imprison her in the core of a tree. She had assumed that it was because she was their 'starter villain', the first criminal they faced after training, and hadn't given much weight to the thing, even wishing them good luck next time; but maybe she should have paid more attention to their screams about her being an evil monster.
"You always escaped from justice!" the boy declared, slightly more uncertain than before. "You never paid for your crimes"
"There is a difference between this and being an irredeemable monster" she noticed. "Is this really worth killing someone over?"
"You did kill someone" the kid replied, as if he had suddenly remembered something that gave him great strenght. "That boyfriend, when you were my age. His family has spent the last thirty years grieving for him and knowing that his killer is at large, enjoying life!"
"He was trying to drown me because I was leaving him" she observed. "Should I have let him? My family's grief would have been lesser that his?"
"You could have said that to a court!"
"My family would have been ruined if the trial had been against someone normal, let alone rich and powerful like Albert"
This seemed to get quite through the boy, who lowered his head in embarassment. Judging by his skin color, he probably had had some experience with injustice himself.
"You are still a criminal at large. You deserve to be punished for your crimes!"
"We go back to the starting point. Is it worth becoming a murderer over? Granted, I feel no remorse for Albert, but if you are someone who believes firmly in justice, you might differ"
"Quit it! I'm fucking tired to see people get away with their crimes! I'm not playing nice like the other heroes and letting people go!"
"Aha" Rusalka felt a surge of pity for the boy. "This isn't really about me, right? Or any of the petty supervillains that new heroes have violently taken down as of late. So, who did you see escape justice?"
The boy just glared at her.
"They were rich, weren't they?"
"They were powerful" muttered the boy. "It was like no matter what they did, they couldn't end up in jail because ... just because. A lot of them are politicians. They don't even have superpowers, they are just in the system. I know that the shit they do is worse! I've seen them hurt and abuse their staff and family, because no one has the guts to sue them. I've seen them cover up human trafficking because they got bribes, or because they got girls carried to their rooms. And at the same time, they rule out laws that would actually protect people, prattling about 'values'! They're fucking hypocrites!"
"And the other heroes?"
"They don't do anything. They say that this is not the kind of evil we can deal with, but they're just scared that they will be targeted if they go against them. Or, sometimes, sometimes the heroes do these things too"
"So, what you are saying is that the others like me and myself aren't the worst evil you can think about. We are just the evil you can actually punish, because there is no one powerful to back us up"
The boy said nothing.
"As far as I know, underaged heroes are assigned to a mentor. Who is yours? What do they have to say about this?"
"I tried to talk to him. He said I just don't understand what being a hero actually means. But I don't talk to him too much. He's not even around now"
Rusalka thought of the heroes she knew. Those people she was in friendly terms with, who captured her without too much of a fuss and joked with her on the way to the police station, well aware that she would have escaped. She thought of the cases she had collaborated in. The perpetrators looked just like the kind of people the boy was describing: had the cases ever been followed through, or had they been swiftly discarded once she had left the Hero Association? How many others, so much more dangerous than she could ever be, had they let escape? How many of them were, to some working class or even trafficked civilian, the real villains?
Rusalka thought of Albert, the high schooler who, at just eighteen, had tried to murder his girlfriend because she no longer tolerated his shit. She thought of what could have been if she had been a regular civilian girl with no powers. Would the heroes she knew help cover up her murder, because Albert's daddy had money and clout, and it would have been so unfair if the boy's brilliant future was snuffed out by a simple mistake? Would Albert have continued like this, becoming a monster just because he could to countless other victims?
Rusalka thought of this child in front of her. She had never been an idealist to begin with, just an utterly materialistic and selfish person since childhood, whose only interest was her own well-being. But this kid was. She could picture him even younger, finding out he had superpowers, training with the dream of saving people and righting the world's wrongs. He had instead seen so many horrors, and his idealism was on the cusp of being snuffed out at just seventeen.
Rusalka thought of her comfortable, lavish life, that she enjoyed in complete solitude.
"What is your name?" she asked the boy.
"Uh? I go by Enuma Elis"
"A mythologic name! I like it. So, as far as I can see, you have got a lot of insider knowledge, but you are inexperienced and your powers lack subtlety. You would know who to target, but you wouldn't be able to get into a house to steal incriminating evidence"
Enuma Elis lit up, just a little, in a mixture of surprise and hope.
"Do you think we could make a deal?"
You are a well-respected Villain. You caused only necessary minor Damages, you never purposefully took a life, and you made sure to keep a strict Code when dealing with civilians. But for some reason, some of the younger Newbie Heroes seem to think you are Evil Incarnate

Ahh
No way! He's actually in a comma??? RIP
She did this to him btw
Ok so I feel it'll turn out robbies uncle did the thing because he hates that robbie is the one in charge instead of him, that's my guess for now.
I like that geo is here but also it makes me wonder about the kids, are they all alone during all this...
I wish she was the main villain, also she's making me realize that the reason I dont like ras is that he isn't pathetic enough for me to care about him, not even being a cat guy helps him.
I still dont know how to feel about her crush on robbie but also I think its cute at times? Is this the first time in ninjago where its the girl the one that has the crush? Maybe that's making it more bearable to me.
Gosh, Arin is such a bad detective, come on Arin, he does not know about red herrings
Arin hates sora now nooooooooo be friends again pleaseeeee
Baby arin detective flashback

The development between these two.... so technically jordana isn't getting development in this (because for now that's not her but someone posessing her body though its unclear how often that happens), but its so interesting how they've sorta flipped, with jordana onesided rivalry and now sora being the one that does remember her name but jordana (when she is herself) has to pretend to not know her ah....
Nooo hes going to wear the animal mask that turns you evil and gives you dumb glowing red eyes nooo
