I'm not feeling this whole Jonah and Casey saga. I get it, he's stepping in to raise her son and that's great but at the same time it's odd because he's so comfortable wth taking that responsibility on so quickly

On one hand, I get where you’re coming from. Most people aren’t so quick to step into the role of father to someone else’s baby. On the other hand, everyone’s different. It looks like Jonah’s got a good head on his shoulders and strong feelings for Casey. I absolutely hope they make it and it works out for them, but we’ll see when they baby’s born, I suppose.

Gabriela hadn’t even intended on having a conversation with Jonah about Casey until she saw him. She didn’t want to look like she was interfering, and she didn’t want to make him or Casey annoyed with her, but she just wanted to check that he was really there to stay. She was glad that Casey had found someone who was willing to be the father that her baby needed... but that didn’t stop Gabriela being a little apprehensive, if only because she knew how much Casey had been through. And so, when she saw Jonah in the lobby, she quickly moved over to him. “Hey - Jonah, could I have a word with you a sec?” Gabriela asked as she indicated to move to the side ever so slightly. She knew what the people around here were like and she didn’t want to

“Holy fucking shit.�� The ruffian spoke when she saw his familiar face, the corner of a her lips turning upwards into a smirk as she leaned forward on the bar counter. “You’re . . . Jonah, right? That bar guy in Detroit?” She asked, raising her eyebrows. She was mostly certain he was, but it had been about a year since she’d seen him, and that had only been a drunken one night stand. What were the odds meeting him again in a bar, in Denver no less? Poppy was walking home from work, head bent against the wind and arms crossed over her chest. It was cold enough that she wanted to get inside as soon as possible, breezing through the front door of the apartment without paying much attention to the fact that someone else was standing right on the inside.
