Dearest Mary,

We've landed safely overseas, but I am afraid if I say anything more specific, my letter will be victim to the censors. There's several other Brindleton Bay boys with me, and we've stuck together as a bunch. Thus far, we haven't reached the front, though we expect to have an encounter soon. We can hear the fighting getting closer every day.

But please, try not to worry about me, though I know you will. Keep me updated on the children. The five of you are what keep me looking for the end of this war, as I am determined to meet dear Irene soon. Per the triplets' request, I have written more on the tale of the children in the magic woods and included a few pages here.

Generation 1 Family Recap

The founders, Johnathan and Laila Loomis, with their two youngest, Nicholas and Bryce.

Denomination: Irisite

Fundie Status: Full Fundie

Johnathan made a fortune as a writer, first of books and translations of the Book of the Watcher, then as a magazine writer for ETW. They have had 11 total blessings and will soon be entering elderhood.

Danny and Iris Marsh with their three children, Isabel, Kenneth, and Antony. 

Denomination: St. Cornelius

Fundie Status: Fundie-Lite

Iris is the eldest Loomis child and the oldest of the first set of twins. Danny manages to keep the family going in their small house, bringing home a decent income as an artist. Over a period of years the couple decided to do Natural Family Planning, as many in the church of St. Cornelius do, and have remained at three blessings. After a long moral battle, Iris also decided to start wearing pants.

Isla is Iris’ twin sister and is married to Ezekiel, the eldest of the six Shearer children. Ezekiel works as a pastor at the Irisite church and they live on a modest middle class income. All Isla ever wanted was to have a big family, and she certainly got her wish. They are expected to have many more children in the future.

Fundie Status: Full fundie. 

Adam is the eldest of the Loomis’ second pair of twins, and is married to Chastity, the eldest Shearer daughter. Adam has a temper and is constantly belittling both his wife and his children, many of whom are adopted. He works as a park ranger, which doesn’t pay enough for them to have a large or nice home, but they scrape by. They are also expected to have, or adopt, many more children.

Damien and Penny Franklin. 

Denomination: Scleran

Fundie Status: Conservative

Penny is Adam Loomis’ twin sister. As a teenager she leveraged her marriage to Damien as a way to escape her family’s vision for her life, and converted to the Scleran church. She now works as a scientist at a leading lab. Despite how their relationship started, Penny and Damien have grown to truly love each other, though neither of them want children.

Adriana and Joshua Loomis. 

Denomination: Scleran

Fundie Status: Conservative

Joshua is the eldest of the Loomis’ third set of twins. Adriana is the third daughter of the Moore family, who originally ran the Irisite Newcrest church. Joshua disliked what he saw of his parents religion in regards to his twin brother, James, and his sister Penny. After marrying Adriana they both converted to the Scleran church and are happily childless. Joshua currently works as a local representative, and Adriana as an art critic.

James Loomis and Jonah Shearer, with James’ younger sister, Maxine Loomis.

Fundie Status: Ex-fundie

James (now Jamie) is Joshua’s twin brother. The night of his eighteenth birthday he and Jonah, the youngest of the Shearer children, eloped and ran away together to escape the homophobic Irisite church, each mutually deciding to leave religion entirely. Jamie is now a doctor at the San Myshuno hospital, and Jonah is part of a nonprofit, San My Pride. They are childless, though took in Jamie’s younger sister, Maxine (Max) after she was kicked out of the house by Johnathan Loomis. Since moving out Max has discovered that she is aromantic and asexual, and is developing her writing career.

Derek and Mary-Faith Loomis

Denomination: Eternal Teachings of the Watcher Megachurch, run by Geoffrey Landgraab. 

Fundie Status: Full Fundie

Derek was the first singleton child of the Loomis family, and is married to the eldest daughter of the wealthy Landgraab family, who founded the ETW. Theirs was very much an arranged marriage, and they used Loomis family funds to purchase this large house where they’ll live until Derek inherits the Loomis family home. They are expected to have many children to uphold the image of the ETW, which they will do, if reluctantly. Derek currently works at a position in the magazine writing department of the ETW.

Struan is the thirteenth born, he’s still a teenager and has about ten days left until he grows up. He’s so done with the whole life thing and he’s totally confused about his sexuality. He was hanging around with Denzel Mahi’ai but he seemed to lead him on, so Struan started dating Eva Landgraab who treated him with more respect. He’s still not sure whether he’s into guys or girls but he does know that he likes boobies, very much which he gets from dear old dad, and Eva has a nice pair. He can’t really wait to move out, Jonah gets on his nerves and always has done, he can’t be bothered with the erratic talking to himself schtick he does, also he’s all over Struan’s mummy and it just won’t do! All the kids are weirded out to be honest but Struan is the only one who is vocal about it now that Andrew has moved out.

Chaotic Fact: Struan managed to get Eva to mess around with him in bed, but she was very responsible and had condoms. Afterwards he asked her if she wanted to have kids...okay that’s not something you want right now Struan, bad boy! Learn from your family kid!

Introduction to the Pierce Family

“Hello, all! I just wanted to introduce you all to a family that I have been playing for a while now. I am currently in generation three, and we are just now progressing to generation four.”

Kimberly Pierce (formerly Fournier) - She was born in Baton Rouge, Lousiana (Newcrest) to Bridgette Fournier and Theodore Fournier. She grew up, and a semi-strict and religious but loving household where manners, respect, and generosity were instilled from an early age.  She decided to take a leap and faith and move from her home, New England (Brindleton Bay). As time went on, she struggled to keep herself afloat. Everything seemed to improve when she met Drake Ness, the man she thought she would spend the rest of her life with. However, after she discovered she was pregnant outside of marriage, she felt her stomach drop to her knees. She knew her parents would be disappointed with her unexpected pregnancy. But she could have never imagined the reaction she would get from the person she thought had unconditional love for her. When she told Drake Ness about her pregnancy, he lashed out at Kimberly and told her to terminate the pregnancy and even gave her the money to do so. Pressured by her boyfriend and the looming disappointment from her parents, she went ahead with the termination of her pregnancy, which would forever leave her wrecked with grief and regret. The stress and trauma from doing something she did not want to do wreaked havoc on to her relationship with Drake and 6 months later the parted ways. A year and a half later, she meets Jonah Pierce who she develops a stable and strong friendship with. He was the only one she told about her termination, and he was understanding. He comforted her through hard times and was a listening ear. Slowly, their friendship began to develop into something more. One thing leads up to another, and they decided to make it official. After two years of dating, Jonah decides that it is time to take the next step and meet each other’s parents because he felt that Kimberly is and was the one for him. One night while having a romantic dinner at an Italian restaurant, he decided to propose. Three months later, they were married. They now have five children (in order for oldest to youngest): Emersyn May Pierce, Jaece James Pierce/Joelle Marie Pierce (twins), Malachai Jonah Pierce, and Kaydence Jay Pierce. 

Kimberly is also a professional singer and has released one album! Her singing interests include gospel and ballads. 

Fun Fact: She used to be a foster care mom! She fostered several children including one that she adopted into her family!

Jonah Pierce: Jonah was born in Colorado (Oasis Springs) to Virginia Pierce and  Pierce. He grew up similar to Kimberly, where his parents instilled in him values such as respect, generosity, and manners. However, he grew up more free-spirited do to his mother being a painter. His father was a full-time pastor at the local church in their town. Jonah also grew up with two siblings, a brother, Kyle Pierce, and a sister Chole Pierce. He decided to move to New England (Brindleton Bay) to pursue a career in the culinary arts as a food critic. There he met Kimberly Fpurneir who was his next-door neighbor. When he first met her, he was in awe of her beauty, and as he got to know her, he loved her personality and her giving nature. Jonah knew when he met Kimberly that one day she would become his life partner. he decided after meeting Kimberly’s parents that he would propose to Kimberly right away so on a beautiful evening he took her out to dinner at a fancy Italian restaurant where he proposes next to the candlelight. After the wedding, they decided to move to New York City, NY (San Myshuno) so that they both could advance their careers as a food critic and singer. As of present day, they both live happily together in Los Angeles, CA (Del Sol Valley), where Jonah has a successful career as a food critic and a YouTube Pastor ministering to millions of people across the sim globe! He has won several awards for his youtube videos. 

Emersyn May Thurman (formerly Pierce) - The firstborn of Jonah and Kimberly Pierce, Emersyn was musically talented from a young age. Joining the chorus club as a child really allowed for her to hone her natural, God-given skill set! Emersyn is a social butterfly and as a consequence has always had a group of friends around her which includes Tasha Flex, Katie Landgraab, Samantha Suzuki, Cameron Thurman, Hannah Lopez, and Kailey Delgato. However, one friend caught her attention, especially, and that was Cameron Thurman. As a teenager, she was a part of the acting and Chorus clubs and still hanged around the same friend group. Cameron who she had had a crush on ever since they were children became more than friends and officially started dating. They are now married with a newborn. But could paradise be in trouble? Jaece James Pierce - Jaece and his twin are polar opposites. Jaece as a child and teenager was super athletic and participated in the basketball team and scouts. He ended up dating his childhood crush much like Emersyn. However, the feeling was mutual between the two. Jaece was also a little more rebellious than his twin. Joelle Marie Pierce - An aspiring actress and introvert, Joelle is destined for success. As a child, she was a part of the debate club, but interesting enough did not have many friends as her introvertness never made it easy for her to make friends. As a teenager partook in the acting club and won an award for her phenomenal performance as a participant in the club. Although Joelle did not find it easy to make friends, she did manage to find someone who understands her. They are now engaged! I was working on a legacy family and after 30 plus great grandchildren in I accidentally overwrote my game. 😢 So I decided to start over and give my children's love interests family stories as well. I created Sims for their 3 children to date in my orginal. The mother is Josephine, father Sylas, oldest daughter pink sweater Hilary, second Chloe and third child is Bennett.

When I originally created the little boy Keiran him and his sister Eva lived together as young adults and Eva had a daughter. No father in the picture. Keiran married Hilary. Eva later married a Sim I made named Damon. In this playthrough she is dating Malcolm Landgraab. I am working on making him the father of her baby once they reach young adult and have him forced to breakup with her because of his mom. She is from a poor family. Malcolm won't know about the baby and live an angry life. Father is Jacob and mother is Rosalie.

Damon is Eva's future husband and very sweet guy. She is currently school friends with him. Father is Elliott and mother is Lauren.

Sofia the little girl in purple is Bennett's future first wife. In my orginal he cheats on her with her best friend Summer and had them both pregnant. Harmony the girl in blue was lesbian and an active. She adopted with one of the townies and married them. Mom is Erica she is family oriented and working as a doctor. Father Roberto is a criminal and currently cheating with Dina Caliente.

I plan on her getting pregnant. I haven't decided if it will stay secret affair or if I will break up the family. I am leaning towards secret family. Or having Erica cheat with Don who is currently dating Nina. Drama I love it. 😂

Summer married Bennett after she talked him into leaving her best friend and his family to commit to their child. Her brother Zack married Chloe Pierce he became a chef and later owned a restaurant. The Aguilar's are also Spellcasters. Father is Jonah and mother is Gemma.

The parents are new to my story and I am working to see where I want their story to go... The Pierce Boone Aguilar clan were pretty strong in my orginal story. So I am excited to see what I do with these families. 😂

The Romance Festival Cont’d

Lyra and her mother after a brief snipe at each other made their way to the tea fountain and began to try some tea. The atmosphere was nice and people were getting friendly, Lyra looked about wondering why her mother wanted her to meet at a romance festival. Lyra popped her glass into the tea.

Lyra: Why here?

Joan: Sorry.

Lyra: Why did you want to meet here specifically?

Joan: Here is as good a place as any isn’t it? Besides, the tea is excellent isn’t it?

Lyra felt unsure of this plan, this whole business was starting to feel wrong. 

Lyra: Yeah.... here’s what I think.... cynical of me perhaps. I think, that you wanted me here to be your “wingman” so you can pick up some playboy.

The look of shock on Joan’s face was almost etched into stone, Lyra remained poker faced. 

Joan: Lyra how could you think that?

Lyra: Quite easily. Let me see, Dillon, Brody, uh, Liam, Jonah, and Finious. Those, are just the men I know of whom you cheated on dad with. 

Joan: Well Lyra, your father gave as good as he got, in the cheating stakes. So if you want to go there, we can go there, but you know what... I’m here for a good night, I don’t want to argue, I’m off to the toilet. 

On her way back from the toilet, Joan spotted Malcolm Landgraab,naturally she made over to him immediately. 

Joan: Malcolm Landgraab? 

Malcolm: Yeah?

Joan: Joan Richards, formerly of Richards Enterprises.

Malcolm: Ah! Yes, I thought that sounded familiar I’m sorry about what happened to your company and its holdings. *he chuckles*

Joan: Me too, perhaps we could... sit and talk? 

Malcolm: Well... *he checks his watch* what the hell! I got a few minutes to spare.

JONAH: You busy after school? You should come over and we can watch a movie or something

BLAKE: I would like to do that, but Malcolm is coming over so that we can work on our science project

JONAH: Yeah, ‘working’ on your project

BLAKE: What is that supposed to mean?

JONAH: You can’t tell me that you’ve gone ahead and made out with Malcolm fucking Landgraab of all people and then expect me to believe that all you think you’re going to be doing is homework

BLAKE: That’s seriously all Jonah

JONAH: It’s not you that I don’t believe, it’s Malcolm. He’s a little asshole and your first boyfriend shouldn’t be him

BLAKE: He’s not my boyfriend

JONAH: See? That proves my point, he’s an asshole

This evening Johnathan and I met with Pastor Shearer and Marilyn. Our families are bound through both marriage and tragedy, and we thought that as the Pastor and his wife, they may be able to help us understand where we’ve been going wrong with our children.

Pastor Shearer agreed that all four of us were at fault for how James and Jonah strayed from the path. He then recommended a series of seminars he and Marilyn had attended after losing Jonah; they were created by Pastor Geoffrey Landgraab in Oasis Springs, and consist of principles to raise Watcherful children. The Shearer’s had decided to follow those guidelines and see how it went with their remaining children. 

When we got home, Johnathan did some research.

The seminars seem to revolve around homeschooling, which as we’ve said is illegal in Newcrest. However, most of their workbooks and seminars are available online, and the teachings cover all walks of life, not just schooling. After some discussion we decided to order some of the materials and use them to supplement the curriculum at the co-op.

Sim ages at the start of my Uberhood

I'm using a 2 days = 1 year age mod to play this new Uberhood I'm panning (and actually already started to play when I need pause from the Somersets) and with a really difficult algorithm I have calculated each Sim's age with the default aging system and translated it into their age with the mod, all with the help of SimPE (I have quite a lot of free time currently xD). So to keep track of everyone's start age, here's my masterpost, it's simply for my own convenience. I plan to make every name a link that leads you to the chronological tag (that didn't work, there seems to be a link-limit?).
