Trailer Shenanigans
Tumblr media
Summary:Jonah really missed you and plans on showing you just how much.
Warnings: A little spicy ;) for my fellow delusional girlies out there
A/N: Had to make a whole playlist to prepare myself to write this lol. Didn’t escalate all the way but im building up my comfort level so just think of this as me dipping my toes in lol. This is dedicated to @melaninjoys
You were currently waiting inside Jonah’s trailer waiting for him to get done filming his final scenes. You hadn’t seen him in a few months and you decided to surpise him.
You were lying on his bed simply waiting. You suddenly heard footsteps and a voice outside the trailer and sat up abruptly to hide yourself behind the door.
You heard the door open and slowed your breathing. You listened as he dropped his script on the table and closed the door behind him. You slowly snuck from behind the door and snuck behind Jonah.
You put your hands down on his shoulder which caught his attention and he whipped his head around so fast you thought it would fly off his neck. You watched the panic in his face settle and you found yourself in his arms.
“I missed you so much,” Jonah whispered into your ear as he wrapped his hands around your waist.
“I missed you too,” you said placing your hands around his neck. You breifly held your breath as you felt Jonah's hands trail lower down your body.
“What do you think you’re doing sir,” you asked teasingly, looking up at him.
“Nothing,” he hummed before cupping your cheek and kissing you feverishly. You returned the kiss and felt yourself fall onto the bed Jonah on top of you.
“You really missed me huh,” you teased as you watched Jonah pull back slightly in order to take off his shirt.
“You have no idea,” he said before taking off your shirt as well. He began planting several kisses along your neck, he knew exactly what he was doing and you loved every part of it.
“Is this alright,” he asked, pausing for a moment, you simply nodded not trusting yourself to speak. “I need to hear you say it pretty girl,” he whispered.
“Yes,” you mumbled, “please Jonah.” He smiled at you warmly before picking up where he left off.
“Jonah,” you moaned out lightly as the gentle pecks turned into hot open-mouthed kisses. You whined in dissapointment as he stopped and lie on his back. Your dissapointment was long gone as you felt him lift you onto his lap.
“Dont worry, i’m gonna take care of you,” he assured you before pulling you into a heated kiss.

jonah is definitely the type of boyfriend who would show how you’re his center of the world with not only words of affirmation, but his touch as well. he would have you locked in so tight of his grip with the one arm he’s using to press your bodies to become woven into one. his tongue would find itself licking your form to taste every little bit of skin that belongs to you. making sure that no stretch marks or hidden features go unnoticed under his watch. he enjoys watching you squirm in his grip, attempting to break out of it…that is until he uses his other hand to touch your most desired place. you’re sent a whirlwind of euphoric bliss, minimal noises and his name being the only sounds that leave out your mouth. he asks you questions such as “did i make you this wet, darling?” or “how good does it feel?” in his deeply coated accent. you know you have no choice but to answer despite him already knowing the answers, but goddamnit does jonah love to hear you struggle responding to him. the man loves to talk throughout intimate moments and use his detailed yet simple descriptions to make you succumb to his every command. you look up to the man and sees his confident heated gaze looking down on you with the glasses that adorned his face and made the fire inside rumble against his loud calming ocean waves.

Secrets, promises and stolen kisses.
Tumblr media
In the bustling world of university life, Y/N and Jonah's lives are a tapestry of contrasts. Y/N, a humble yet secretly talented vet, and Jonah, with his undeniable popularity, seem to come from different worlds.
Y/N has always kept her profession a secret from university life, wary of people befriending her just for free vet advice, and discounts on operations/vet care. But fate intertwines two different paths when Jonah's dog Bella becomes paralyzed in her hind legs. Frantic and heartbroken, Jonah faces rejection from multiple vets and second opinions who suggested putting Bella to sleep. But Bella wasn’t “just a dog” to Jonah- she didn’t care about how he looked or how popular he was; she only cared about belly rubs and chasing squirrels. She taught him the art of unqualified love. How to give it, how to accept it. She doesn't care if you're rich or poor, clever or dull, smart or dumb. Give her your heart and she’ll give you hers. He was adamant that someone out there could help her, and It was clear in everyone’s eyes that he wasn’t going to give up until he found someone who had the opposite opinion to the one he kept getting. He had become a force of nature—a man on a mission to restore his best friends mobility.
Desperation led him to a vet clinic almost an hour away, where he encounters Y/N.
Jonah’s popularity preceded him at the university campus—the guy who could light up a room with his smile, effortlessly navigating social circles. Y/N, on the other hand, moved with purpose, her steps measured and her gaze focused. She was the vet who slipped through the crowds, her secret hidden behind those warm brown eyes. She only ever had one close friend, Tiffany.
They’d crossed paths countless times—Jonah with his easy charm, Y/N with her quiet competence. The hallways, the coffee shop, the occasional nod during breaks—it was all part of the rhythm of campus life. Neither expected more; their worlds seemed destined to remain parallel, never intersecting. Until now.
Jonah was apprehensive because he assumed he would hear the same tired platitudes as every other veterinarian he visits: “There’s nothing we can do”, “she’s too far gone”, “I think it’s time”, “it wouldn’t be fair to keep her suffering much longer” and so on.
But then blurted out Bella’s story, top to bottom: and Y/N listened, her eyes holding determination, her hands gentle as she examined Bella. She promised hope, and Jonah clung to it. The Paws & Whiskers Veterinary Clinic was Y/N’s sanctuary—a place where barks turned into healing, and the scent of antiseptic mingled with endless miracles.
When he finished, she nodded, her gaze flickering toward Bella and back to Jonah. “I’ll do my best,” she said. “But if it’s okay, I’d like to ask….”
And there it was—the secret. Y/N’s hidden talent, her gift for healing animals. Jonah’s eyes looked into hers knowingly, as if he knew what she was going to say “you’re a vet”, he whispered.
She nodded. “I am. But I’ve kept it quiet. People can be… opportunistic.”
Jonah understood. If word got out, everyone would flock to her, seeking free advice, exploiting her skills. Y/N’s anonymity was her armor, shielding her from the world’s demands. Yet there he was, stood between Bella’s well-being and Y/N’s peace.
“I won’t tell,” he promised. “Your secret is safe with me.”
And so began their pact—the unspoken agreement to protect Y/N’s anonymity. Jonah watched as she worked wonders with Bella, her hands gentle, her determination unwavering. Bella responded, tail wagging, and Jonah marvelled at the young girl behind the vet’s mask.
As days turned into weeks, their interactions shifted. Y/N’s eyes held gratitude, and Jonah’s admiration deepened. They met in quiet corners outside of vet and university hours—the library, the beach, the park—where Bella could strengthen the sensation in her legs and their friendship could bloom. Jonah became a constant presence, their conversations shifting from Bella’s well-being to deeper matters, and Jonah found himself sharing stories he’d never told anyone- conversations flowed effortlessly and Bella’s recovery became their shared secret, a fragile bridge between them. They laughed over coffee had deep talks, and sometimes, their fingers brushed accidentally, sending sparks through the room.
Jonah marvelled at the way Y/N spoke to Bella, her voice soothing and full of love. And when Bella finally stood on her own four legs, tail wagging furiously, Jonah’s heart swelled. Y/N’s eyes sparkled with pride, and he knew he’d fallen—for Bella, yes, but also for the enigmatic, beautiful girl who’d brought hope back into their lives, and he wished so much that he could’ve got to know her sooner.
On one particular evening, the moon hung low, casting a silvery glow on the water. Jonah’s pulse raced as he stood by the lake, as he waiting for y’ns arrival. Y/N’s presence was a magnetic force that pulled him closer. Bella lay nearby, her eyes half-closed, as if sensing the gravity of the moment.
A cool breeze swept across the lake, ruffling Y/N’s hair and sending shivers down Jonah’s spine. He reached for her hand as she arrived, fingers trembling. “Y/N,” he said, voice barely audible, “there’s something I need to tell you.”
Her gaze met his, and he saw it—the vulnerability, the fear of crossing a line. “What is it?” she whispered.
Jonah hesitated. The weight of their connection pressed down on him—the shared secrets, the stolen glances, the way her laughter echoed in his dreams. Y/N wasn’t just anyone; she was the keeper of his heart’s secrets.
“I’ve been thinking,” he began, his thumb tracing circles on her palm. “About us.”
Her eyes widened, and he knew she understood. The tapestry they’d woven—the threads of friendship, the hidden talents, the way Bella had brought them together—it all led to this moment.
“What about us?” Y/N asked, her voice a fragile thread.
Jonah leaned in, his lips brushing against hers. Her heartbeat echoed in the quiet night, a rhythm that matched his own. His fingers trailed from her palm to her cheek, the softness of her skin a revelation. He moved a loose strand of her hair behind her ear, his touch lingering.
“I want this,” he murmured, leaving the rest unspoken.
And so, he kissed her—a gentle press of lips that held the promise of more. Y/N responded, her lips parting, and he pulled her closer. Their breaths mingled, and the world blurred—the moon, the water, the weight of their secrets. He kissed her again, this time trailing down her jawline, tasting the saltiness of her skin. Her neck beckoned, and he pressed his lips there, feeling her pulse against his mouth.
It was a moment suspended in time, where hesitation melted into longing, and the universe conspired to bring two souls together. Jonah lost himself in the taste of Y/N—the sweetness, the warmth—as if he’d been waiting for this kiss since the beginning of time.
He pulled away, both breathless, eyes locked—the universe itself holding its breath. Jonah’s hand still lingered on Y/N’s cheek, and she wondered if he could feel her heartbeat echoing through her skin. Words weren’t necessary; they shared an unspoken understanding—their feelings laid bare in that stolen moment. Y/N’s mind raced: What did this mean? Would it change everything?
They sat side by side, fingers brushing, Bella stirring nearby as if sensing the shift. And then Jonah broke the silence, his voice a tremor: “Y/N, I’ve wanted this for so long.”
Her heart fluttered, and she whispered, “Me too.”
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jonah had reached a point where he couldn't keep his feelings to himself anymore. He was falling head over heels for Y/N, and the only way he could navigate this confusing and exhilarating time was by confiding in his closest friends. "I can't stop thinking about her," he admitted, his voice tinged with a mix of excitement and anxiety.
His friends listened intently, offering advice and support, trying to help him figure out the best way to express his feelings to Y/N without jeopardizing anything and sharing her secrets. “just be straight with her, tell her that you love her”, Matt says.
Meanwhile, Y/N and her best friend were having a heart-to-heart conversation of their own. They had always shared everything, so it was only natural that Y/N would open up about the strange fluttering in her chest whenever she thought about Jonah. But just as she began to articulate her emotions, her friend dropped a bombshell. "I have to tell you something aswell," she said, her eyes downcast. "I have a crush on someone too, his name is Jonah." The revelation hit Y/N like a ton of bricks. She felt a pang of guilt twist in her stomach, realizing that her relationship Jonah could hurt her friend.
The situation left Y/N feeling torn and conflicted. On one hand, her heart yearned for Jonah, and on the other, she couldn't bear the thought of causing pain to her best friend. She wrestled with her emotions, trying to find a way to navigate this delicate situation without damaging her most cherished relationships. The possibilities and topics of conversations with Jonah and her friend had opened up a Pandora's box of emotions, leaving them all at a crossroads where every choice seemed to carry significant consequences.
Y/N’s guilt weighed heavily on her heart after she found out that her friend harbored feelings for Jonah—a crush that had blossomed quietly, like a fragile flower. But Y/N’s own heart had betrayed her, pulling her even more toward Jonah in ways she couldn’t ignore.
Y/N had tried to avoid Jonah for days after this. She took different routes in the hallways, rescheduled her vet consults, and even adjusted the timing of her evening walks to avoid crossing paths with him. It was clear to anyone paying attention that she wss acting out of the ordinary, but Jonah wasn't just anyone. He noticed the subtle shifts in her behaviour and the absence of her usual warmth. Determined to understand what was going on, he made it his mission to find a way to be with her again. Jonah's persistence paid off one afternoon when he managed to catch Y/N alone in a quiet corner of the library. Gently but firmly, pulling her aside and holding her close as he showered her with kisses, each one filled with the affection and longing he had bottled up during their time apart.
The conflict tore at her—the loyalty to her friend versus the undeniable connection with Jonah. She avoided him, not out of indifference, but out of fear. Fear that her actions would wound her friend, unravel their bond, and leave her standing alone in the aftermath. Yet, as Jonah’s lips brushed hers in that quiet library corner, she wondered if love could ever be wrong when it felt so achingly right.
“you have been avoiding me”, he said, taking her hands in his.
Jonah looked down into Y/N's eyes and spoke with a sincerity that left no room for doubt. He assured her that she had done nothing wrong and that his feelings for her had only grown stronger. He reminded her of the countless ways she had brightened his life and made him a better person. Bit by bit, Jonah's words began to heal the wounds Y/N had inflicted upon herself. As they stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, they both knew that their bond was unbreakable and that together, they could overcome any obstacle.
Jonah pulled away, finally mustering the courage to share his feelings. He looked deeply into her eyes, taking a moment to appreciate the sparkle he had come to adore.
"I love you," he said softly, his voice filled with warmth. Her eyes widened slightly, a mixture of surprise and joy dancing within them.
A tender smile spread across her face as the words sunk in. She leaned in closer, her heart brimming with emotion. The air between them seemed to hum with a newfound energy, a shared understanding that words alone could not convey. Their lips met in a series of gentle kisses, each one more passionate than the last. The world around them faded away, leaving just the two of them in their own private universe.
“I love you too”
I hope you all enjoyed this, any feedback would be appreciated, thankyou 🩷

He comes home again / Jonah Hauer-King X Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: Your boyfriend Jonah had been in Sardinia for the past 9 months to film The Little Mermaid after finishing the scenes they shot at Pinewood Studios London, while you stayed behind in your guys’ apartment to watch your cat and dog. He wasn’t supposed to be home until tomorrow afternoon, so you were fairly surprised to see him standing in your doorway. Warnings: Fluff and some implied smut if you squint. Word count: 960
─── ・ 。゚☆: .☽ . :☆゚. ───
Dancing around the kitchen with music blasting from the speakers you were busy stirring the batter for the welcome home cake you were making for your boyfriend. He had been away for months to film The Little Mermaid and you couldn’t be more proud of him.
Spinning away from the counter you picked up Y/Cat/N and twirled around with him in your arms, singing along as your favorite song played on the radio. The same song that was playing in the bar when you first met Jonah.
You were sat behind the bar, holding a drink in your hand and swirling it around slightly as you laughed at your friend’s joke.
“I just cannot believe he would do such a thing,” your friend commented, feeling sorry for you after your high school sweetheart had broken up with you through text message. “And that with Christmas around the corner. I’d go and slash his tires.”
“Well, that’s your solution to everything,” you laughed softly at your friend’s violant answer to your sorrows. “But I’m gonna be the bigger person and merely drink my problems away,” you proclaimed, holding up your glass to clink it against hers. Chugging your drink down before ordering another one.
The alcohol flowed heavily that evening, but you hadn’t been able to get your now ex-boyfriend out of your mind just as easily as you had hoped. And now, a few drinks in, you had gotten to your sad stage of being drunk. Slumped in the bar stool, your friend talking to some guy in the back after you had assured her that you would be fine. You were just about to call it a night, paying your tab and swinging your purse around your shoulder when you turned towards the door.
It took only a second for you to forget about your ex now as everything around you faded away, your eyes landing on the man who had just entered the bar with his friends. His stormy blue eyes managed to captivate you even from across the room. His eyes landed on yours as the first tunes of a new song started playing on the radio. Your favorite.
You stayed a while longer, hoping that the guy had gotten the same feeling of you as you did of him, but when he didn’t come over and an hour passed you decided to simply blame the jitters on your slightly intoxicated state. Turning back to the door and this time walking out.
Pulling your coat a little tighter you tried to keep warm in the winter cold, snow slowly fluttering down from the sky as the lights around town twinkled brightly. Quietly humming Christmas tunes to yourself you dissociated yourself from the world around you, not even hearing a voice call out. Not realizing that it was calling out to you.
“Miss,” you felt a hand on your shoulder, turning you around. Instinctively you punched your fist forward, punching the guy who had stopped you in the stomach, making him bow over. “you forgot your scarf,” he told you, holding out the black wool. His voice sounded out of breath as he spoke, making you feel a little guilty about punching him.
“Oh my God, I’m so sorry. Thank you,” you smiled awkwardly, taking the scarf. Trying to excuse yourself by thinking that it was partly his fault for grabbing a strangers shoulder on the street, but it didn’t take the feeling of your guilt away. “Are you okay?”
“Yeah,” he chuckled quietly. “You’ve got a mean right.”
“Sorry about that,” you apologized again.
He waved his hand dismissively, standing up straight again. “It was kinda my fault,” he replied. “I’m sorry for startling you. And I don’t wanna sound like a creep, but I saw you in there and I kind of wanted to come over and talk to you. Maybe it was fate that made you leave your scarf.”
“Fate?” you couldn’t help but laugh softly at the cheesiness of that, but you had to admit that he really was a good looking guy. And something about him made you feel comfortable, though you couldn’t quite pinpoint exactly what it was. “Yeah, maybe.”
“Could fate maybe give me your name?”
“Y/N/N,” you introduced yourself, extending your hand for him to shake, deciding not to tell him your full name just yet.
He gladly took your hand, shaking it as he introduced himself: “Jonah.”
You were dancing around the kitchen, smiling at the memories that surfaced when you heard the song. Setting Y/Cat/N down on the kitchen floor again you poured the cake batter into the baking mold before pushing it into the preheated oven.
Turning around you jumped slightly, clutching your hand over your chest before a wide smile spread across your face. “Jonah!” you exclaimed happily, jumping into your boyfriend’s arms as he spun you around in a hug. Pressing kisses to your cheek and temple before setting you back down and kissing your lips deeply.
“How’s my little princess doing?” he murmured against your lips, pecking them multiple times as his arms remained around your waist. “Miss me much?”
“Very much so,” you smile up at him, your arms hooked around his neck as you pull him down for another sweet kiss.
“Yeah? How about you prove it?” he grinned mischievously, his voice a little hoarse, sending shivers through your body. “I just wanna take you to bed and never get out again.”
“I was baking you a welcome home cake.”
“Okay, maybe I’ll get out of bed for the cake,” he replied jokingly. He picked you up with ease, your legs wrapping around his waist as he carried you into the bedroom, which you did not leave for the next few hours.

I can see you (Y/N and Jonah’s version)
Tumblr media
Pairing: Jonah x fem!reader
A/N: Ignore how some of the lyrics aren't pink, it kept messing up. Also first smut, bare with me ya'll 😀.
Summary: You’re at a premiere party and your coworker keeps making not so subtle moves on you. Inspired by 'I Can See You' by Taylor Swift.(Lyrics in italics and pink)
Warnings: SMUTTT. Oral (fem receiving)
Your recent film was a huge success thanks to the incredible chemistry and or sexual tension between you and your coworker Jonah.
You currently had your back against a wall in the hallway of the host's house, drinking from a red solo cup and talking with a cast mate when you suddenly feel a shoulder brush against yours. You turn around only to see Jonah flash you a smirk before walking away.
"You brush past me in the hallway And you don't think I, I, I can see ya, do ya?"
You scoffed lightly before returning to your conversation. You tried to focus on the words being said to you but you catch yourself watching Jonah down the hall hoping he wouldn't see you.
"I’ve been watchin' you for ages And I spend my time tryin' not to feel it"
You shook your head subtly trying to get yourself together. 'But what would you do if I went to touch you now?,' you fantasized in your head, 'What would you do if they never found us out, What would you do if we never made a sound?'
You turned your head in the direction that Jonah went only to see him at the end of the hallway watching you carefully.
'Cause I can see you waitin' down the hall from me
Gathering your nerves you walked over to Jonah. "Has anyone ever told you that you have a staring problem. Take a picture it'll last longer." you teased and he chuckled darkly before closing the gap in between you. His hand gripped your chin as he backed you up against the wall.
'And I could see you up against the wall with me'
"I like to call it the Y/N effect. You really have a hold on me darling," he whispered into your ear, letting go of your chin and placed his hands on your waist, pulling you impossibly closer to him.
'And what would you do? Baby, if you only knew That I can see you'
"Really? What effect do I have on you Jonah," you whispered back and he could hear the smirk in your words.
"How about I show you," he suggested before attaching his lips to your neck, leaving hot-open mouthed kisses on your skin, you bit your lip in an attempt to hold back the moans that threatened to spill out.
"You really wanna do this here?" you asked breathlessly knowing that anybody could walk in on the two of you at any given time. He picked you up, your legs wrapped around his torso and carried you to the nearest bathroom.
'And we kept everything professional But something's changed, it's somethin' I, I like They keep watchful eyes on us So it's best that we move fast and keep quiet'
He locked the bathroom door behind the two of you and placed you down on the counter. "Do you want this?" he asked looking you in the eyes and you simply nodded but that wasn't enough for him. "Words, pretty girl," he said with a slightly teasing tone.
"Yes Jonah, I want this," you said quietly and he smiled in satisfaction before pressing his lips against yours in a passionate kiss. His hands gripped at the base of your hips and he slowly took off your dress. He gently cupped your breast over your bra and kissed the exposed skin, making sure to leave behind a trail of hickies.
"Can I take this off?" he asked toying with the clip of your bra and you nodded eagerly. He unclipped your bra with ease and began to plant open-mouthed kisses on the newly exposed skin. His hands found a resting place on your hips as he trailed his kisses lower and closer to where you needed him the most.
"Are you sure you're okay with this?" Jonah asked looking into your eyes.
"I've never been more sure of anything," you assured him and he gently slid down your panties, getting on his knees in front of the counter.
His hands gripped at your hips as he placed gentle kisses on the insides of your thighs as he began to gently bite and suck at the skin. He looked up into your eyes as he licked a long stripe up your slit before licking and sucking at your clit earning soft moans and whimpers from your mouth only encouraging him to speed up the movement of his tongue.
You gripped the edges of the sink while his tongue flickered between your slit and he hooked his arms around your thighs, holding you in place as he devoured you like a man starved.
You looked down at him and found his eyes gazing into yours watching you intently as he wrapped his lips around your clit and sucked desperately. The view was making you dizzy. The way his eyes bore into your own as his tongue wrapped around your wetness made you grind your hips into his mouth seeking more friction.
He gave a long stroke with the flat of his tongue and sucked you into his mouth tugging slightly and you could feel the pull of your throbbing clit. Then he spread his mouth wide over that sensitive nub and sucked even harder, a sudden stabbing sensation making you cry out in pleasure. Your whimpers and moans grew significantly louder as the coil in your stomach tightened his tongue moving faster while he felt you clenching around his mouth.
He pulled away slightly. "Cum for me, love," he whispered before continuing his tongue's brutal attack against your clit. You cried out in pleasure as you approached you orgasm and he slowed down his licks, helping you ride out your orgasm.
He stood back up and licked the remainder of your wetness off of his lips looking into your eyes as he did.
"You gonna let me return the favor?" you asked with a sly smirk.

Jonah followed you from the restaurant to your apartment. He couldn't remember the last time he was this nervous about a romantic conquest, or the last time he'd gone to anyone else's house. Normally it came naturally to him, but with you he questioned all of his actions. He didn't want to screw this up, and your apartment was a neutral ground. You might feel overwhelmed in his home. He also didn't want to treat you like you were just another lay. Could Jonah keep his hands to himself during the movie? You said that your roommate Vanessa was gone for the weekend, so he knew the two of you would have the place to yourselves. The possibilities were endless, but he would have to let you make the first move. He swore he would never pressure you to be physical with him, and he had meant it wholeheartedly.
After you pulled into the parking lot in front of your building, Jonah took a deep breath, and switched his car off to accompany you inside. You gave him a sultry sweet smile as the two of you stepped up to your door. You fished your keys out from your purse and clumsily unlocked the deadbolt. Jonah could tell you were nervous as well.
Once he stepped inside, you put your bag and keys down on a table by the door. Jonah observed the small living space with a blue couch and a tv stand with illuminating lights behind it. It was cute and cozy.
"Well, this is our humble abode," you laughed awkwardly. "I'm going to get these shoes off and then we can pick a movie on the couch. Vanessa and I also keep the pantry stocked with snacks," you smiled.
"Okay," Jonah nodded.
You moved to walk past him to your room, and Jonah caught your wrist. When you stilled, he looped his arms around your waist, and touched his forehead to yours.
"Hey, don't worry. I'm nervous, too. I promise to keep my hands to myself unless I'm given explicit instructions otherwise," he spoke softly.
You felt your cheeks warming up.
"Okay," you breathed.
You looked down at Jonah's lips. You could kiss him right then and there, but you decided to restrain yourself. It would be much more fun to play with him. Jonah released you, and you pulled away to go to your room. You shut the door and peeled your shoes off as Jonah took a seat on the couch. This would be fun.
Opening up your door a couple minutes later, you strolled into the living room in your small cami and shorts set. You'd taken the liberty of going braless. You walked straight past Jonah's tuft of curls on the couch to the pantry in your kitchen.
"What snacks would you like?"
You examined the contents of the pantry. You felt Jonah's eyes glued to you. There was a beat of silence.
"Um, I dunno. Chips? Candy?"
You nodded.
"Okay, that can be arranged," you replied cheekily.
Piling your arms full with snacks, you set them down on the coffee table in front of the couch. You bent over to give Jonah a nice view of your rear.
"(Y/N)," he warned in a low voice. "I don't react kindly to teasing."
You fixed him with a befuddled look.
"I'm not sure what you mean," you scrunched your brow, scooting beside him to take a seat.
"Did you pick a movie yet?"
You acted completely oblivious. Jonah eyed you for a moment before answering.
"No, I wasn't sure what you were in the mood for."
"Horror?" You suggested. "Or comedy? Let's do comedy," you nodded, popping a chip in your mouth.
Jonah forced his gaze back to the tv, and the two of you settled on a movie after a few minutes. The opening scene of this movie cracked you up, and you let out an open, hearty laugh. Jonah looked to you with a smirk. As the movie continued, you moved closer and closer to Jonah. He was sitting stock still with one hand on an armrest and the other settled on his knee, as if to brace himself. You snuggled up to his shoulder, laying your head down. Jonah turned his head slightly to inhale the scent of your hair. He closed his eyes at the lovely smell.
You began to fidget, getting uneasy. You wanted to make a move on Jonah, but you weren't quite sure how. You eventually settled your hand on his thigh, and you didn't miss Jonah's sharp inhale. You pretended to be paying attention to the movie as your hand crept further and further up his leg. Jonah's hand moved from his knee to settle on yours at your latest inch upward.
"That's enough, unless you want to start something I'll have to finish," he whispered, but you heard him loud and clear.
You raised your head up to examine his profile, resting your chin on his shoulder.
"What if I do want to finish?" You teased.
Jonah's lips twitched, but his eyes didn't move from the television. Frustrated that he wasn't looking at you, you boldly sat up, and pushed past his arm to straddle his lap. It wasn't until you were nose to nose with him that you noticed Jonah's deep breathing.
"I want you to do what you said you would on the phone. You're a man of your word, aren't you?"
You watched Jonah's pupils dilate, and instantaneously his hands tangled in your hair, and he crushed his mouth to yours. The kiss was passionate and urgent. You tried to keep up with him, but he set a brutal pace. Jonah used his thumbs to coax your mouth open, and slipped his tongue in to explore every crevice of your mouth. You kissed him back with fervor, and began rolling your hips over his growing bulge at the apex of your thighs.
Jonah suddenly pulled away, breaking the kiss. Your mouth chased his.
"Can we move to your bed? I want to lay you down properly."
You nodded and stood, grabbing Jonah's hand to lead him to your bedroom. You closed the door behind him, even though you were alone. You had a feeling things would get loud. When you turned around, Jonah stood by your bed expectantly. You caught your first real glimpse of his tented trousers, and your mouth watered at the sight.
"Lay down," Jonah instructed you.
You gulped and nodded, stepping towards the bed. You halted before you put your knee up on it, turning to face Jonah. Your eyes held his as you pulled your cami over your head, and bent down to drop your shorts. You were completely bare underneath, and now fully exposed to him. Jonah took a shaky breath, but didn't look down just yet. Instead, he spoke again, more firmly this time.
"Lay down."
You climbed up onto the bed then, laying on your back, and looking up at him. Jonah didn't move to strip any of his clothes off. You pouted, until you saw him lowering himself down onto his knees. You licked your lips in anticipation.
"I told you I don't like to be teased. You know what happens now? I make you cum as many times as I want on my tongue. You'll be begging me to stop before I do."
You swallowed again at his threat and the dark look in his eyes.
"Prove it," you challenged him.
You knew you'd probably regret it, but you were slick with desire at the moment, and you couldn't bring yourself to care. The corner of his lips lifted, and Jonah lowered his face down to your mound. He took a long, deep inhalation of your smell. The sight turned you on and made you self conscious at the same time.
"Someone's ready for me," he growled before he grabbed your legs and stuffed his face into your folds.
Jonah wasn't lying. He worked you to your peak 5 times, and quickly at that. It was almost one after the other. You'd never experienced such bliss like this. Your thighs were shaking by your last orgasm, and you felt extremely sensitive to the touch. You tried to scoot back from Jonah's mouth, but he had your legs secured. He showed mercy, however, and lifted his face to look at you. Seeing it coated in your juices was almost too much for you to handle. You groaned.
"Had enough, princess?"
You nodded, looking back down at him with hope in your eyes.
"Alright, I'll go easy on you this time, but this is a lesson. Remember that," he urged you as he stood beside the bed.
Removing his baby blue button down shirt that complimented his eyes and pushing down his khakis, you whined at the sight of him. He'd already ruined you, yet you wanted so much more. You didn't know if you could get enough, in fact. Jonah chuckled.
"Like what you see?"
You nodded with a heaving chest, taking in his defined abs and muscular shoulders. You bit your lip as he slid his briefs down, kicking them to the floor. You gasped at the sight. Jonah immediately caged you in on the bed, consuming your senses.
"Do you know I've been dreaming of this since I met you, (Y/N)? Are you ready? It's going to be fast and hard. Then I'll take my time with you," he pushed your hair from your face as you nodded.
Jonah kissed you, lining himself up at your entrance. He began pushing himself in. You moaned into the kiss. After 3 pushes, Jonah fully entered you. Your eyes and mouth opened in tandem at the sensation of being utterly and completely full. Jonah comforted you by peppering kisses around your mouth.
"Look how well you're taking me, love. It's like you were made for me," Jonah chanted.
You nodded, squeezing your eyes shut as he moved.
"Can you look at me, sweetheart? I want to see your eyes," he urged you.
You stilled, forcing your eyes back open. Jonah pressed his forehead to yours.
"Yes, just like this," he praised. "You're too beautiful to hide your expressions from me."
He kissed you again, and began rutting into you. You broke from the kiss, but kept your eyes locked on his. You didn't think you could look away if you tried. Pleasure shot through you at his every move, and you were catapulted to your next peak. You came undone around him, and the sensation had Jonah grunting and his hips faltering. You felt him finish inside you, and you swallowed his moans with another harsh kiss. After the two of you rode out your highs, your chests heaved in time for oxygen. You wove your fingers though his curls until your breathing slowed.
"That was bloody brilliant," Jonah commented.
Your grin was so big it hurt your cheeks.
"Yes, it was," you agreed. "Can we do it again?"

Two hours later, you laid curled into Jonah's side. Your head was on his shoulder as he ran his fingers through your hair. You sighed contentedly.
"Hey, I was thinking..." He trailed off.
You looked up at him curiously.
"What?
"You should come to my swim meet this weekend," Jonah smiled down at you.
You quirked your brow.
"Oh? You want to go public with this already? I can't imagine all of the women on campus that'll be coming for my head," you laughed.
"Listen, I know I have a bit of notoriety at school, but I want everyone to know that I'm seeing you," Jonah caressed your cheek.
"If you're not too embarrassed of me," he added.
"Of course not," you smiled. "I think you're wonderful. In fact, I've been disappointed that I haven't found much about you that I don't like."
Jonah's hand settled on your cheek, and his eyes took on a more serious tone.
"I have to be honest with you, (Y/N). I would rather you hear it from me...," he started.
"Tell me," you urged him. "Whatever it is, honesty is the best policy."
Jonah took a deep breath.
"I started talking to you because my mate Max made a bet with me. He wanted me to pursue a woman on campus that seemed completely unattainable for at least two weeks, then he said he'd stop pressuring me to go out with more women. I thought you should know."
Jonah held his breath after his confession. You practically snorted.
"Yeah, I figured it was some kind of stupid bet. Max was incredibly entertained the first day you approached me, and you kept coming every day, so I figured something was up," you smiled.
"So you're not mad or hurt by that?" Jonah's brow creased.
You shrugged.
"No, it doesn't bother me. If that hadn't happened, I don't know if we ever would have crossed paths. Everyone meets as a result of all of these improbable circumstances. We're no different," you concluded.
Jonah sighed, turning his face up to the ceiling.
"Ugh, you're brilliant," he grimaced. "I knew you had to be much smarter than me. But let's see if you can still speak in complete sentences after I make you cum on my cock again," Jonah rolled over on top of you.
You burst into a fit of giggles that turned into moans and gasps as he kissed down your neck and chest. Jonah pushed himself past your entrance again, and you accommodated his size with a small touch of soreness.

Jonah checked his phone to find that it was past midnight, and that he had two messages.
Max 🤭
5:50 p.m.
BRO!!! Tell me how it goes
Mum
11:16 p.m.
Are you okay, dear? I didn't see you at home earlier. Don't forget your father is getting in later tonight.
Jonah shot up reading his mother's text. You mumbled sleepily from your side of the bed.
"Is everything okay?"
"Yes, love. I'm sorry, I forgot that my dad said he might get to come home early. And by early, he meant tonight. My mum says he'll be in soon. I hate to leave you after-,"
"Go," you gave Jonah a sure smile with your head propped up on your palm.
"Don't worry about me. You wore me out. I intend to sleep," you chuckled.
"Go see your dad."
Jonah smiled, more to himself than to you. How did he get so lucky that the woman Max chose at random turned out to be inherently perfect? Jonah set his phone down, grabbing your face with both of his hands to kiss you sweetly on the lips.
"Thank you," he kissed your forehead before hopping out of bed to get dressed.
You watched him pull his pants and shirt back on. He radiated masculine energy, and you needed him to leave if he didn't want you to drag him back into bed. You rose when he found his shoes, wrapping a small blanket around you to walk him to the door. Jonah held your hand on your short trip there. He then turned to kiss you once more before leaving.
"I'll see you soon, princess," he smiled.
"Not soon enough," you replied.
Jonah's forehead connected with yours again. You were quickly learning that this was his way of showing affection. He breathed in your heavenly scent one last time. He reluctantly left, and you locked the door behind him. You ran back to bed, jumping into it with a squeal of excitement. You'd just had a night of passion with Jonah, and you couldn't be happier, or more satisfied. You could hardly believe your luck.
⋅.˳˳.⋅ॱ˙˙ॱ⋅.˳˳.⋅ॱ˙˙ॱᐧ.˳˳.⋅⋅.˳˳.⋅ॱ˙˙ॱ⋅.˳˳.⋅ॱ˙˙ॱᐧ.˳˳.⋅
Jonah kept checking his rearview mirror the whole drive home, as if your building would still be there when he looked. He wasn't lying. He hated leaving you after the two of you had been so intimate with each other, but he had to see his dad. He admittedly needed to clean himself up first.
Pulling up at home, Jonah didn't see his father's car yet, but he ran inside. He headed straight for his room to shower and brush his teeth. Jonah didn't even want to kiss his mother on the cheek with the dirty mouth he'd used for other things tonight. Stepping out smelling fresh, Jonah quickly pulled a t shirt and shorts on. There was a knock at his door.
"Come in," he called out.
Jonah's mom entered the room, still in her scrubs.
"There you are, darling. Where have you been?"
Jonah smiled, coming to hug his mother.
"I was with a friend, mum. When is dad getting in?"
She hugged him back.
"Any minute now."
She pulled back, examining Jonah at arms length.
"My, you look happy. What kind of friend did you say you were with?"
"My new girlfriend, I hope," Jonah answered honestly.
His mother smiled.
"Well, you'll have to bring her over to meet us."

DATING JONAH HAUER KING
I imagine his love languages being words of affirmation and gift giving. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure he loves physical affection too but words of affirmation and gift giving are his top two in my opinion. He feels like they better express how much he cares about you and vice-versa.
Not afraid to show you off in front of his friends or family. Always holding your hand or has an arm around your waist or shoulder.
Likes watching you do skincare (and makeup if you're into that). Would definitely want to join your skincare routine and would let you do his makeup.
Constantly texts you throughout the day. Whether he's sending you memes or asking for updates about your text, there's never going to be a day when he doesn't contact you.
Likes doing domestic things with you like cleaning, baking, watching corny hallmark movies etc.
Buys the two of you matching outfits, thinks it's a cute and quiet way to claim each other.
Compliments you all the time, and he's very genuine and gives great compliments.
Showers you with affection from the moment you wake up to the moment you fall asleep. Kisses every inch of your skin, no where is unattended. When he comes home he welcomes you with a big hug and kiss.
Gives the best hugs. Extremely soft and comforting. Keep in mind he's 6'2, If you're shorter than 5'8 he most likely bends down to hug you and nuzzles his face into the crook of your neck.
Loves stealing things from set and bringing them to you. "It reminded me of you" he would say in his defense.
Is great at cheering you up. Gives the best comfort. if you don't want to talk about it, he's happy to just play with your hair and cuddle you until you feel better.
Super romantic. Writes you love letters and buys you flowers just cause.
Strokes your hair and sings to you when you have trouble sleeping
NSFW BELOW THE CUT
I imagine him as a Soft!Dom but could definitely see him being a little submissive and needy.
I see him as being into recording. Likes to keep them for when he's away and is missing you.
Aftercare is super important to him. He is more than willing to order you food, bathe you, wash your hair, put on a movie and cuddle etc.
He gets a little rough when he's jealous but would never go too far and hurt you.
Takes his time, doesn't feel a need to rush. Not really into quickies unless he's really desperate. Slow strokes, he wants to drag it out for as long as possible.
Eye contact. That man will hypnotize you. Looks directly into your eyes as he thrusts in and out of you.
Marks you up and he likes to be marked up. Loves leaving hickies all over you. Really likes it when you scratch his back and leave marks from your nails.
Could see him being into handcuffs and blindfolds. Handcuffing you so that you can't touch him and blindfolding you to increase your anticipation, never knowing his next move.

Jonah rolled over in bed to look at the ceiling. As he examined the light fragments pouring in from his window, his thoughts drifted to you, as they have every day since he ruined things. What was he to do tonight? He knew he would see you. He didn't want to upset you any further, but he wanted a chance to speak to you face to face.
He missed you; there was no denying that fact. He would have to try to refrain from touching you if you did give him the time of day to talk. But what could he say? He'd felt hopeless and lashed out. That wasn't your fault, and you were the least deserving of his cruelty. After everything you'd done for him and his mother, Jonah knew he should be on his knees before you. Perhaps he would tonight if given the chance. He'd do anything to have you back- even if you were guarded, and even if you only gave him a small part.
Groaning and throwing his elbow over his eyes, Jonah cursed himself for the thousandth time. He didn't know what he'd do tonight, but he had to do something. This was his chance.
⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘
Your fingers strummed nervously on your steering wheel as you drove up to the arena. You had to put your game face on. Sure, things had been tough, but you could handle anything that happened tonight. Right? Right.
You didn't allow yourself to take stock of the cars in the parking lot tonight. You simply grabbed your medical bag and headed inside. Feeling the wave of cool air as you entered the front doors, you smiled at Ariel. She practically bounced out of her seat, rounding her desk, and running to you for a hug.
"Hey (Y/N). Are you okay? I don't know exactly what happened, I only heard that some things went down," she rubbed your back.
You nodded with your chin over her shoulder.
"Yeah, I'm okay. I'll make it."
Even as you said the words, tears pricked at the corner of your eyes. You don't know why people who genuinely cared for you asking you if you were okay made you so emotional.
Finally releasing you from her embrace, Ariel still held you at arm's length to examine your face.
"You haven't been eating or sleeping well. I can tell. I have some melatonin supplements in my bag if you need them," she smoothed out your hair beside your face.
"That's okay. Thank you though," you smiled.
Ariel nodded, giving you one last once over.
"You're a beautiful badass, (Y/N). Don't let anyone tell you any different," she smiled with her pearly white teeth.
With a renewed sense of confidence that you could make it through the night, you headed to your seat. Setting your bag down on the table, you sat, straightening out your uniform. You looked up as you heard footsteps approaching.
"Good evening, (Y/N). How are you doing?
Sebastian smiled at you.
"I'm alright. How about yourself?"
"I'm okay. Thank you for showing up tonight and not bailing on me," he steepled his hands in front of him in praise.
You giggled at the sight.
"You're welcome. It's no problem," you assured.
"Keep your game face on, yeah?"
You smiled at his words, as you had been telling yourself the same thing only minutes earlier.
"You bet."
Watching Sebastian's back as he left, you began a breathing exercise. Patrons started slowly pouring into the stadium, and the music came over the speakers.
"Good evening everyone," the announcer's voice came on as he circled the ring.
You tuned out the rest of his speech and continued to steady your breath. You knew you'd see Jonah soon, and you wanted to be mentally prepared. Tapping your fingers on the table, you were happy to see the first fighters come out. At least the fights gave you something to focus on.
The fight started, and you learned forward, watching every blow. The smell of the mixture of sweat and blood soon filled the air. You could never escape that smell. Bouncing your knee, you made it through the first fight, and waited for the second one to start. This fight passed by in the same fashion, and you felt as if you were about to bounce out of your chair at the rate your knee was going. Settling your hands on it to quell your anxiety, you moved your eyes to look around the stadium the second you saw a fragment of black curls.
Jonah made his way into the cage, and his eyes landed on you immediately. His breath hitched in his throat. He was grateful to see you again, although you wouldn't look at him. He couldn't blame you. Walking around to his corner, Jonah tried to get himself in the right headspace for the fight, but he knew he'd be distracted.
You looked up as his opponent entered the cage, and Jonah felt a twinge of jealousy that another man caught your gaze. The bell rang, and Jonah finally looked at his fellow fighter. The guy rained continuous blows on Jonah, coming out full force. Jonah blocked every one, letting him expend his initial burst of adrenaline. After he tired himself, Jonah set to work dealing carefully calculated blows. One after the other. Within minutes, the man was standing on his last leg. Jonah wrestled the guy to the ground, forcing him to tap out. Releasing his hold, Jonah stood up. He noticed sweat and blood smeared across his chest when he looked down.
Jonah's gaze fixed on you again, and he caught your eyes for the first time that night. Hoping and praying that you wouldn't look away, Jonah approached the side of the cage where you sat. Hooking his arms over the mesh, he leaned his face forward.
"Please meet me in the alley. Please," he shouted above the cheering fans and chaotic crowd.
You didn't answer him, and Jonah was pulled away to be announced as the winner of the fight. You stared after him, and Jonah kept his head turned to you until his coach grabbed his chin to force his gaze ahead. The referee held up his gloved hand, and Jonah gulped in oxygen as the crowd erupted again. There was a ringing in his ears, and everything sounded distant. His shortness of breath wasn't from the physical exertion of the fight, but rather the uncertainty of whether or not you'd actually meet with him. Jonah's corner crew threw a towel over his shoulders, and ushered him back to the locker rooms.
"Oi, what's gotten into you boy? You should be happy. That was a phenomenal win."
His coach clapped him on the back. Jonah simply nodded. Feeling the hot spray of the shower, Jonah scrubbed all of the grime and blood off as swiftly as possible. He had to get dressed and see if you'd actually meet him in the side alley of the gym. Pulling on his clothes at lightning speed, Jonah stumbled with one shoe in his hand, and grabbed his gym bag to push past the swinging door.
The door to the alley burst open, and Jonah stepped out, looking from side to side. He didn't see you. His heart sank. What if you didn't come? You didn't owe him anything. Deciding to post himself on the wall in hopes that you'd eventually show, Jonah sighed, closing his eyes and leaning his head back against it. His thoughts and emotions swirled in his mind. After a handful of minutes, Jonah heard the door swing open again.
Peeling his eyes open, Jonah watched as the lighting from inside painted you in an ethereal glow before the door swung shut. You looked down at the opposite end of the alley, and turned your head to meet Jonah's eyes. Feeling his heart hammering in his chest, Jonah let his gym bag slide off his shoulder. Your eyes followed his movements carefully, and you watched him approach you.
"You came," Jonah uttered in disbelief.
"I'm so happy you came," Jonah's hands rose to cup your cheeks slowly, cautiously.
He felt the sting of tears in his eyes. Would you actually let him touch you? He should be so lucky. You didn't move from him though. Your (e/c) eyes simply bore into his blue ones. Your lips parted as Jonah's skin made contact with yours. You watched his pupils dilate in response. Jonah slowly moved you back, pressing you to the wall. You let your medic bag slide off your shoulder as he did.
"I want to kiss you, (Y/N)," Jonah voiced his thoughts, looking down at your lips.
"I want that, too. But we need to talk first," you reasoned.
You almost regretted not letting yourself get wrapped up in the moment. Jonah's eyes blinked several times, as if he was trying to pull himself out of a trance.
"Right," he shook his head, placing his hands on the wall on either side of your head.
Jonah swallowed down the lump in his throat. He knew he needed to sincerely apologize.
"I'm so sorry, (Y/N). For everything. I got scared, and I lashed out. It was completely unfair to you, and I know you deserve better than that," he started, examining your expression.
"I know you were scared," you breathed, your voice trembling slightly.
"I just don't want to commit to another relationship where everything's always my fault. I can't do it again. I won't," you shook your head.
Jonah gently grabbed your upper arms then, ducking his head to meet your eyes when you cast them down.
"Hey, it's not. I'm so sorry. I'll get on my knees before you if I have to," he spoke with baited breath.
The corner of your lips lifted slightly.
"That's not a bad idea," you shrugged.
To your surprise, Jonah dropped down before you, looking up at you from his knees.
"I want you back, (Y/N). I need you back," he pleaded.
Your eyes welled with tears.
"It's just that...," you felt all of your emotions barreling forward.
You took a shuddering breath.
"Look, you said you couldn't commit, I said that was fine. You called me a friend after you fucked me in my car, I said that was fine. You told me that you had to walk away, I said that was fine. But this, this is not fine," you felt the tears spilling over.
"My life, my work, is chaotic enough. My partner needs to be my safe haven, not my turmoil."
You took another deep breath, lifting your head, and looking at the moon.
"I've played this game before. Frankly, I don't have the time for it anymore. If you're not one hundred percent invested, let me know now," you finished your speech.
Jonah rose to stand back up, lifting his hands to cup your cheeks again. Swiping your tears away with his thumbs, Jonah watched you with your eyes to the sky for a moment. Settling his forehead against yours, Jonah closed his eyes, and sucked in a deep breath.
"I'm all in, (Y/N). I'll spend the rest of my life making this up to you, if you'll let me," he opened his eyes to connect with yours again.
"I promise."

It had been a summer fling; all-consuming and passionate. Jonah was yours for an entire summer, and he gave himself to you in every way. There was no hesitation, and no inhibitions. Jonah took you stargazing and skinny dipping. The two of you experienced more love in two months than some people do in lifetimes. That's right: love. Though it was short, you knew it was true.
It was the summer before you went off to different universities across the country from one another. You tried not to let that fact gnawing at the back of your mind stop you from being in the moment with him. But as your time together dwindled, you became frantic.
"What will we do? How will we make this work?"
Jonah had no answer. It was no one's fault. The two of you were stepping into the newest chapter of your lives. On your last night with Jonah, he nestled you in his hold.
"You know I'll always love you, right (Y/N)?"
Tears dotted your vision.
"I know. I'll always love you, Jonah."
Of course you kept in touch at first. Jonah called you every night to ask about your day. You felt a twinge of jealousy when Jonah mentioned a new friend named Vanessa. You cried that night with your pillow clutched to your chest. You were envious of the people able to hang out with him; to experience him in real time. What you wouldn't give to have that back.
Eventually, the phone calls slowed. The dates that both of you had planned to visit the other got pushed back. The texts ceased. The dry ache in your chest was so, so heavy at first. You pushed it down further and further every day. He's better off, you told yourself. He's living his life, and I should live mine. Over time, the ache buried itself so deep that you hardly noticed it anymore. Life went on as it always does. It pauses for no one. You learned that the hard way.
The night of your graduation from university, you received an offer letter from your dream job. You had applied for it a month ago, and endured the grueling interview process. It was a photography job for an up-and-coming architecture firm. Urban photography was your specialty, and you reasoned that architectural photography wouldn't be much of a stretch. You would be in charge of the portfolio that is shown to the clientele. You could 'make or break' the company's profit margin according to your interviewer. You knew you were the right fit, and you couldn't wait to start this new endeavor in your professional career. Your thoughts momentarily fleeted to Jonah before you were carried off to the bar with friends to celebrate.

Two weeks later, you started at your new company. You went through onboarding with a smile. Once the new hire process was done, you walked through the office with your new manager. His name was Sebastian, and he was a kind, older gentleman. Sebastian introduced you to some of your peers, and you smiled and shook hands with everyone. You were thrilled to meet your new team. Sebastian was leading you down the hallway to your new office when a man speaking to a co-worker stepped out of a door, directly into your path. You ran into the person's back, immediately halting your steps.
"Oh, my apologies," the man exclaimed.
Why did that voice sound familiar? No.
You sucked in a breath as the man turned to face you. You immediately connected eyes with Jonah. The rest of the world froze around you as you stared at each other for a moment, both in shock.
"Uh, sorry (Y/N). This is Jonah. Do you two know each other?"
Sebastian awkwardly asked.
"Yes," Jonah answered before you had a chance.
It was good considering that you didn't want to answer that question.
"Yes, (Y/N) and I knew each other in our early college days."
You bristled at his statement, and shook your head to snap yourself out of your daze. How, after all this time, did he still affect you this way? Smoothing your hands down your skirt, you smiled to Sebastian.
"Yes, a long time ago now. Shall we continue to the office?"
Sebastian glanced between you and Jonah with his brow lifted for a moment before turning to continue to the office.
"Jonah," you muttered with a forced smile as you squeezed past him.
Jonah turned his head to follow you with his eyes. You didn't turn back to look at him again. Not that you would after all this time.
"Hey, everything alright, mate?"
A co-worker burst Jonah's thought bubble.
"Sh - yeah. Yeah, mate, everything's good. You startled me is all," Jonah put his hand to his chest.
He glanced the direction you left once more, and turned to retreat to his desk.
Sebastian showed you to your new office. It was much nicer than you deserved; you were sure of it. But the whole time Sebastian gave you a tour, your mind wandered to Jonah. The years had treated him well. He only got more attractive with age, you decided. How the fuck was that possible?
Rolling your eyes at that thought, you had to focus on Sebastian. The rest of the morning went off without a hitch, and you practically sprinted to your car to leave for the day. Onboarding was only a half a day, and you really needed to pull yourself together before you saw Jonah again. It's been four years. You need to get over it.
You were due back to start the next morning, and you can't exactly have an episode every time you run into Jonah around the office. You have to be neutral towards him. Taking deep breaths and backing out of the parking space, your mind was screaming at you the whole way home. That night, you meditated, and tried to calm your nerves before bed. You would need all the help you could get.
⋆⁺。˚⋆˙‧₊☽ ◯ ☾₊‧˙⋆˚。⁺⋆
"Good morning, (Y/N)! Excited for your first day?"
Sebastian fixed you with a toothy grin. You smiled in return.
"Yes, very excited!"
The morning was great. You drove to a model build, and took a million photographs with different lighting and filters. Returning to the office just before lunch, you decided to eat at your desk so you could edit pictures. You were chewing your pb&j when you heard a knock on your open door. You looked up from your computer, and stilled like a deer in headlights. Jonah.
"Hi. I was coming to ask if you wanted to join us for lunch, but I can see that you're busy," Jonah folded his hands awkwardly in front of him.
You nodded, and looked back to your computer screen. Jonah stepped further into your office. Shit.
"(Y/N), I get the feeling that you're avoiding me. I know we have a past. I know things didn't end the way either of us wanted. But please, I beg you, can we talk about it?"
You swallowed the lump in your throat. Jonah was right. You couldn't keep avoiding him.
"Fine. Do you want to talk now or later?"
You set your sandwich down, and folded your hands atop your desk.
"We can talk now," he swung your office door closed.
Jonah strolled over to the seat in front of your desk. He sat down with a smug smile.
"There. Now I have your full attention. How have you been?"
You grimaced, pressing your fingers to your temples.
"Jonah, listen, I know we were kids. I know it was just a fling that fizzled out. We're different people now. Can we just agree to be neutral and professional towards one another? This is my first gig out of university, and it's really important to me that I do well here."
Jonah's smile dimmed, but didn't disappear.
"Of course. It was a fling, it happens. I'm only sorry that it ended the way it did. How ironic that we got pulled to two different worlds, only to end up back in the same one."
You shook your head.
"Right. I'm sorry, what is your position here again? I didn't hear Sebastian say."
"I'm an architect now."
"Wow. That's wonderful. I never knew you wanted to be an architect. See, how well did I really know you?"
Jonah hesitated before answering.
"I didn't even know I wanted to be an architect back then. It took a lot of time and self-reflection to find my true passion. I changed my major several times," he admitted.
You couldn't help but smile.
"Well, I'm glad you've found it. And I look forward to working with you," you extended your hand for Jonah to shake.
Taking it, Jonah shook it lightly.
"I look forward to it, too. Congrats on the new gig," he flashed his dimples.

A week had passed before Jonah started flirting with you.
"What are you doing?"
You scrunched your brow as you asked Jonah the question.
"What? I'm talking to a co-worker," Jonah shrugged.
"No. That was flirting. You're trying to flirt," you rolled your eyes.
"I told you. Professional."
Jonah sighed and threw his head back in dramatic fashion.
"Yes I know what you told me. Neutral. Professional," he lifted his head back up.
"Come on, you can't tell me that you haven't once thought about it over the years," he nudged your shoulder.
"Stop it," you retorted.
"I haven't."
Jonah scoffed at that.
"Yeah right. You can admit that I made you see stars. I know you've thought about it," he lowered his voice.
It was your turn to shrug.
"Nope, I haven't," you replied with a sparkle in your eye, turning to exit the break room.
It was fun to see Jonah squirm.
⋆⁺。˚⋆˙‧₊☽ ◯ ☾₊‧˙⋆˚。⁺⋆
The flirting continued into the next week. Sometimes you participated, and sometimes you didn't. It really depended on your mood. When you were stressed, you were less likely to flirt with Jonah. Other times, you couldn't help it. There was no denying that there was still a natural chemistry between the two of you. Jonah was familiar.
One evening, gathering up your things off your desk, you heard your office door open.
"I'm sorry, I know I said I would come, but-".
You stopped speaking when you looked up to see Jonah at the door.
"Oh, sorry, I thought you were Flynn," you excused.
You rounded your desk.
"You had plans with Flynn?"
"Uh, yeah. I mean he asked me if I wanted to go to some arcade with him tonight. He said other people might be there. I told him I'd probably come, but I'm exhausted, and my social battery is drained."
You stepped closer to the door, and in turn to Jonah.
"Can I leave my office, please?"
You asked when Jonah didn't answer you or move out of your way.
"Don't go anywhere with Flynn. The dude's a player," Jonah warned.
You barked a laugh.
"Oh, and you're not? Come on Jonah, I'd like to get out of here."
You saw Jonah's shoulders slump, but he opened the door wider for you to pass by him. He closed your office door behind you. The two of you walked in silence down the hall to the elevators.
"What's with you? Are you feeling okay?"
Jonah sighed.
"Yes. I was considering asking you something."
You stopped in your tracks.
"What? You know you have to tell me now," you crossed your arms over your chest.
You didn't miss Jonah's eyes dipping to your neckline. He sucked in a breath, and you saw his throat bob with a swallow.
"I was going to suggest an arrangement," Jonah ducked his head.
"An arrangement?"
He nodded.
"Only if you're interested. I know you're still pretty guarded around me. You've always been good at that. But, personally, I haven't been able to stop thinking about you since you started here. I feel we've been given a second chance. If you feel the same, I was going to offer an arrangement. It's not as big of a commitment as dating, but we'd still be able to see one another."
Your heart hammered in your chest.
"What arrangement?"
You weren't considering it. No. You simply needed all the facts before making a decision.
"Friends with benefits," Jonah grimaced, gauging your reaction.
Your stomach dropped.
"Really? You just want to hook up with me," you rolled your eyes.
You began walking again. Jonah's hands came out to comfort you, but at your sharp look, he withdrew them. He followed you to the elevator instead.
"Listen, I know how it sounds. It's just that, I'm not seeing anyone," he put his hand to his chest, "and I don't think you're seeing anyone," he motioned to you.
"It sounded like a much better idea when I rehearsed it in my flat," Jonah scrubbed the back of his neck.
You eyed him suspiciously before you pressed the button to call the elevator.
"There's no other reason?"
You questioned. Jonah shuffled his feet nervously.
"Do you want me to say that I've missed you? I thought you already knew that."
You stepped into the elevator as soon as the doors opened. Jonah followed you in, but stayed quiet.
"I'll think about it," you finally said when the doors dinged open on the ground floor.
⋆⁺。˚⋆˙‧₊☽ ◯ ☾₊‧˙⋆˚。⁺⋆
You made Jonah wait another week before the hookups started. You made it clear that that's all this was. Neither of you had any claim over one another, and neither of you should expect more. That was easy to say before Jonah had you bent over your desk after hours, plowing you from behind.
Everything about him was just as you remembered. His lips were just as soft, and his body was just as solid. You couldn't help but feel a little lucky that you got to experience it again, even if it was in the form of casual hookups. What you didn't know was that the handful of intimate moments were wearing down Jonah's resolve a little more each time. He always wanted more of you, but how could he ask for that with the way things had ended last time? He felt he had no right. You were quite emotionally guarded around Jonah still, and he couldn't blame you for that. He didn't know how to explain his feelings without you shutting him down. He was lucky that you'd been gracious enough to let him touch you again. He decided that he would take what he could get for now, and bide his time.

It wasn't until one bright, spring morning that your presence was requested at one of the sites for Jonah's latest build. Sebastian said that you were to go and take pictures to showcase his latest innovative design. You agreed, and drove to meet Jonah at the address you were given. When you pulled up, he was standing outside.
"Morning," Jonah chirped as you exited your car.
You shouldered your camera bag. Jonah handed you a cup of coffee, and you looked up at him with a quirked brow.
"What? I remember your coffee order, (Y/N). I'm not a monster."
You laughed.
"Thanks. And good morning," you sipped your vanilla latte.
You followed Jonah into the building. Whether it was designated to be a home or workspace, you weren't sure yet.
"Whoa," you openly admired.
You stared up at the high, arched ceilings with numerous skylights. Jonah smiled, pleased with your reaction, and led you straight to the outdoor patio. Before you was a garden of all different kinds of flowers and trees. The garden path branched off in two different directions from the patio, but you could see that the paths met in the middle in the back of the yard.
Setting your coffee and camera bag down on the concrete, you pulled your camera out, walking down the path to snap pictures. You turned back to the house, since that's now what you assumed it was, and snapped photos of the lovely garden space with the building in the background. Jonah walked on the path opposite you, simply observing. When the two of you met at the fountain in the joined space at the back, you put your camera down, and looked at Jonah.
"What do you think?"
Jonah asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
"It's beautiful," you gushed.
"What inspired you with this design?"
You focused on your camera screen, scrolling through pictures.
"You did."
You paused your movements, and looked up at Jonah's hypnotic eyes.
"What?"
"You did, (Y/N)," he repeated.
"The house has skylights because you remind me of sunshine. They can also be used to stargaze at night, like we used to. The garden has two separate paths, just as we did, but they converge back together at the end."
Your mouth hung open, but you had no words. Jonah continued.
"All this time, you've inspired my builds. You're the reason that I've been a successful architect. My work has always been my love letter to you."
You closed your mouth, and shook your head, with tears springing to your eyes.
"Don't do that," you muttered.
"It's true," Jonah's hands reached out to grab your upper arms; to keep you from running, at least.
"You're my muse, (Y/N). You're the reason I've been able to channel my passion into my work."
"Don't do that," you repeated, trying to shrug his hands off of your arms.
Jonah tightened his hold slightly.
"These years, these experiences...it feels like a lifetime. A lifetime of emptiness without you. I ruined my chance. I had it all before, I was just too young and stupid to realize it. I know that now. But please, please, for the love of god, let me make it up to you. Let me show you what real love is like. Because I swear, I swear it (Y/N), I've loved you all this time."
Too stunned to speak, you tried pulling away from Jonah again. Jonah let you this time. You took off down the path back to the house. You were full on crying now, tears streaming down your cheeks. You shouldn't have come here. You should've made up some excuse.
Jonah followed you, and let you slip your camera back into your bag. When you tried to grab it to leave, he grabbed your wrist.
"(Y/N), please," he uttered before you turned on him.
"Stop it, Jonah. Just stop it," you barked at him.
Jonah dropped your wrist, but didn't move otherwise.
"I mourned, you know. I mourned the loss of you, and the loss of our life together," you poked your finger into his chest.
"I won't do it again," you croaked.
Your throat was tight with tears.
"You won't have to," Jonah eased his hand around yours.
"I can promise you that you won't have to mourn for us again. It didn't matter what I did, or who I was with; I thought of you every single day. And back then, I didn't know what to do. You had your new life in front of you. I didn't want to hold you back. But it took that time apart for me to realize that you are my life, (Y/N). The only version of my life worth living is with you."
"How do I know this is real?"
"You think it's a coincidence that you ended up here?"
Your eyes shot to Jonah's.
"No," he shook his head.
"All staff is involved in the hiring process, (Y/N). Our managers show us every potential hire, and gather our input. I pushed for you to be here. It wasn't hard to convince the others."
You closed your eyes, shaking your head now.
"What? No, that can't be right."
"It is. Ask anyone. You were a strong candidate because of your resume, but our vote was the reason you were hired right out of university. I knew that we were destined to make our way back to each other. I just didn't know how, until you fell into my lap again."
You looked down at Jonah's chest, whimpering.
"I can't. I can't do it again. It almost killed me the first time."
"I know," Jonah snaked his arms around you.
"Me too, love. It won't happen like that again, I promise," he whispered.
You leaned into his chest, giving into his warmth. You didn't have much to lose, you reasoned. You'd already lost him once before, and the crater left in your world affected you to this very day. Which was better: to risk it all again, or deal with the loss? Your heart knew the answer before you spoke it.
"What happens if I say yes?"

"I said no one has to know what we do, his hands are in my hair his clothes are in my room"
"Y/N and Jonah, I hate to ask but the people want to know, are you two romantically involved?" the interviewer asked with expectant eyes and raised brows.
"Everyone asks this question," you said rolling your eyes. "I really don't understand what this has to do with the movie but to answer your question, no."
"Me and Y/N are not romantically involved. We actually can't stand each other," Jonah said nodding in agremeent.
"Hate him," you joked shaking your head in disapproval as you pointed your thumb towards your coworker. "We actually fought before filming the kiss scene." you said dragging on the joke.
"The makeup team had to work overtime in order to cover up the bruises," Jonah added and you nodded before the two of you looked at each other and burst out laughing.
"So, as a follow up question, are either of you in a relationship?" the interviewer inquired.
"I have an amazing boyfriend," you said truthfully. To be fair she didn't ask who.
"Tell me about him," the interviewer encouraged.
"He's so tall, and handsome as hell. He's so bad but he does it so well," you said adding a dreamy sigh for dramatic effect and Jonah playfully rolled his eyes.
"What about you Jonah?"
"I have an amazing girlfriend." Jonah said looking at you briefly. "I love her with every fiber of my being."
You gagged jokingly. "Gross."
"Someone's jealous," he said in a sing-song tone.
"Never."
"Well thank you guys so much," the interviewer said finally concluding the interview. You and Jonah got up from your chairs and collected your things from your dressing rooms and heading towards Jonah car.
"Can you believe how nosy she is?" you asked Jonah in genuine disbelief as the two of you got inside the car.
"I don't get why everyone thinks we're together," he deadpanned.
"Me either," you said with a small smile. "That's such a far-fetched accusation,"
"So far-fetched," he said leaning in to give you a kiss. "There's a few rumors we're sleeping together too,"
"Really, now?" You asked amused.
"Mhm,"
"Well I guess we have to sleep together now, you know I hate false accusations" you said with a small smirk. Jonah placed his hand on the back of your neck and pulled you in for a deep, passionate kiss. He swiped his tongue across your bottom lip, a silent way of asking for permission and you happily granted it parting your lips slightly so his tongue could enter. The kiss got more intense each second.
Jonahs hands traveled from the back of your neck to your waist, squeezing it gently and he placed his other hand on your thigh.
"Your windows are tinted right?" you mumbled against his lips. He kissed you again briefly before answering.
"Mhm." he answered before taking his shirt off.
"I love that we're on the same page," you smiled before he tangled his hands in your hair pulling you in for another kiss.

You strolled into the cafe the next morning feeling quite annoyed that you were up so early without having caffeine yet. You weren't exactly a morning person. You stopped inside the door of the restaurant when you saw Jonah's curls at your table. His back was facing you, so he hadn't seen you just yet, but you felt yourself fluster at the sight of him. What was he doing here already? Quietly walking to your table, you spotted two iced vanilla lattes on the table in front of him.
"Why are you here so early?"
It came out softer than you meant it to. You chalked it up to you not being fully awake yet.
Jonah's bright blue eyes smiled with his lips at the sight of you.
"I wanted to get your coffee for you this morning. I got one for myself to try as well," he slid a cup over to your side of the table as you sat.
You looked to the counter to find Lyle pouting, staring in your direction. The sight made you giggle as you turned back to Jonah.
"Yeah, Lyle wasn't too happy about it," he laughed.
"How was your night?"
Jonah chatted with you while you unpacked your laptop and books. After telling him that your night was fine, you included information that you probably shouldn't have.
"I'm happy that my best friend Vanessa gets back in town today. I've been counting down the days since she left."
Cringe. You sound like a loser.
"Oh, so you're not a total loner?"
Jonah smiled.
"I'm glad that you have someone to confide in. Everyone needs someone like that in their life."
You were getting into the habit of sharing more personal information with Jonah. You needed to get a grip. It hadn't even been a week since you started seeing him daily, and he was already wearing down your defenses.
"Who's your person?"
You were genuinely curious. And maybe if he continued to share information with you it wasn't so bad. It was a mutual exchange.
"My dad," Jonah answered with a soft smile, but it gave way to a frown as he fiddled with the rim of his plastic cup.
"You said he travels for work. I'm sure you must miss him," you watched Jonah's eyes lift to yours again.
"I do, but he should be home soon," he sighed.
"I apologize, I didn't mean to get so personal today."
His statement surprised you.
"Don't apologize," you assured him.
"Thank you for my coffee. You didn't have to do that."
You reached out and brushed your fingers against his knuckles. The sensation instantly sent a surge of goosebumps through your skin, and unbeknownst to you, Jonah experienced the same jolt. You watched his pupils dilate slightly.
"What if one day we could be that for each other?"
You felt your heart hammering in your chest at the question - no, the possibility.
"I can't be your dad if that's what you're asking," you deflected.
That was a classic move of yours. Anytime someone gets close or serious, you have to try to drown it out with humor. Jonah surprised you again when he laughed. A real, genuine laugh, not a polite or mocking one.
"Ah, funny and charming. How delightful," he smiled.
You blushed at his dimples and the sudden compliment. You nervously tucked some stray hairs behind your ear and brought your beverage to your lips with the other hand.
"Alright, I'm sorry," Jonah ducked his head to meet your eyes again.
"I feel as if I've tortured you enough with my presence today. What's your favorite flower?"
"Pink daisies," you admitted.
Jonah nodded, planting his hand on the table.
"I'll get out of your hair," he grabbed his coffee and moved to stand from his seat.
"Wait," you blurted out.
You didn't want him to leave so soon.
"You haven't answered a question for me today. That's the new deal, right?"
Jonah observed you with a smirk, sitting back in his chair.
"Yes, I believe so. Although I thought your question earlier was your one for the day."
You thought back. Shit, that wasn't what you had planned to ask him today. Not that you'd thought about it.
"Oh, no I didn't mean for it to be. Can I have another?"
You tried your best to bat your eyelashes at the stunning man across from you.
"Anything for you, love," Jonah's expression turned more serious.
You fought the new blush creeping up your neck, and spat out your question before you lost the nerve.
"Did you actually sleep with all of the women you took out from campus?"
The idea had admittedly been itching at the back of your brain since you met him. He was charismatic, handsome, and fit. You wouldn't be surprised if he was the playboy you'd heard him described as. All of the easiness dropped from his features at your question, and gave way to a darker expression.
"It seems like someone is trying to get to know me after all," he leaned forward until his face was mere inches from yours.
He then spoke in a low voice only for your ears.
"No, I didn't. I told you that, but no one seems to believe me when I say it. Why do you ask?"
You swallowed the lump in your throat at his proximity. He was even more beautiful up close like this.
"Curiosity, I suppose," you breathed.
He had said that phrase to you before, and you weren't sure that he'd recognize that, but he gave you a knowing smile.
"I welcome the curiosity, but it'd be cruel to give me false hope."
Your eyes bounced between his, then descended to his lips. Jonah's breath hitched in his throat.
"Who said it would be false hope?"
Jonah scrunched his brow as his eyes dipped to your lips as well. He made a tsk sound.
"So many questions today," he whispered.
You didn't know what was happening or how it had happened so quickly, but you felt a magnetic pull to Jonah. You brought your face closer to his, letting your eyes drift back up to his baby blues with a hopeful gleam. Jonah inched his lips closer, and you felt the slightest brush of them when, suddenly, someone loudly cleared their throat next to your table.
The sound startled you and Jonah out of your trance, but Jonah grabbed your upper arms to steady you and keep you from bouncing out of your chair.
"Can we help you?" Jonah snapped at Lyle who stood there with a mischievous grin.
"I just came to see if the lady needed a refill on her drink," Lyle cast a glance to you.
"No, Lyle, I still have over half left," you let out an annoyed sigh at the intrusion.
Lyle nodded.
"Okay, carry on," he left after throwing Jonah another smug smile.
Jonah shoved his hand through his curls.
"Fucking wanker. He's down bad for you."
You wore a sad smile.
"I'm sorry. I didn't think he'd actually interrupt us like that."
Jonah reached across the table to grab your hand.
"Why are you apologizing? Don't be silly."
He gave your hand a reassuring squeeze.
"You know, we could meet up somewhere besides the cafe, and that wouldn't be a problem," Jonah suggested.
You pursed your lips in thought. You couldn't imagine being alone with Jonah in private; not after the attraction you'd just experienced. You feared all your inhibitions would fly out the window. You rubbed your thumb across Jonah's knuckles. The skin was shockingly smooth.
"Like where?"
You hated to admit that you were debating it. You felt like your were caving too easily.
"Anywhere. The theater, a restaurant off campus, or my house even," Jonah stroked your wrist.
"Don't give me false hope," you repeated back to him.
"Darling," Jonah chuckled, "I couldn't if I tried."

You thought about your almost kiss for the rest of the day. Jonah's lips had touched yours ever so slightly, and you tried to memorize the way they felt - soft and pliant. You had to make it through your lectures, and then you could go see Vanessa. The two of you had so much to catch up on.
Later that evening, you swung the door open to your apartment, and put your keys in the bowl by the door.
"Hello?" You called out.
You heard footsteps racing down the hall, and Vanessa came barreling around the corner.
"Hi!" She squealed as she snatched you up in a hug.
You laughed, hugging her back.
"I missed you," you squeezed her extra tight.
"I missed you too," she outstretched her arms to give you a once over.
"I'm sorry you couldn't come on our family trip this year because of that stupid midterm," Vanessa rolled her eyes.
"It's okay," you shrugged. "It hasn't been all bad."
Vanessa gave you a curious look.
"Oh, it hasn't? Who are you and what have you done with my best friend?" She joked.
You playfully swatted her arm.
"My early mornings at the campus cafe have gotten more interesting lately. A guy started noticing me and I've been seeing him every day since," you started, ducking your eyes away from Vanessa.
"What?! Why am I just now hearing about this?"
It was your turn to roll your eyes.
"I didn't want to intrude on your family time. I know how much you love the annual trips," you excused.
"Yeah, whatever," Vanessa waved her hands dismissively.
"So who's the guy?"
You bit your lip with a grimace.
"You know the new foreign exchange student, Jonah?"
Another squeal pierced your ears.
"Bitch, shut up. No it's not, is it?"
You reluctantly nodded. This was the real reason you hadn't told your roommate yet. You knew she'd make a big deal out of it.
"It is, but so far it's nothing serious. Nothing may even come of it," you shrugged again.
"What do you mean nothing may come of it? That is one hot piece of ass. If you don't pounce on that, I will," Vanessa fanned herself for dramatic effect.
"Wait," she added. "So have you gotten his number yet?"
You gulped.
"I just got it today. I haven't texted him yet...," you trailed off.
The memory of Jonah typing his number into your phone and sliding it back across the table replayed in your mind.
"There. Now you can text me anytime you like, sweetheart. Or not. You do love to keep me on my toes," he winked at you.
"(Y/N)? Hello?" Vanessa burst your thought bubble as she grabbed your arms and shook you.
"What?"
Vanessa laughed.
"Someone had a dreamy look in their eye thinking about him. I asked you a question. I asked if you guys were planning to go on a date soon."
"Oh, um, maybe," you were getting a little flustered at the thought.
"He mentioned something about that today, but nothing's set in stone yet."
"Well, you need to text him!" Vanessa encouraged.
"I will, but, um," you were almost embarrassed to ask.
"What are the rumors you've heard about him?"
You swore Vanessa's grin almost split her cheeks.
"Oh, they're great. You know all the women he dated on campus?"
You reluctantly nodded.
"Well, supposedly, he only ever took a handful of them home. And when he did take them home, he didn't sleep with them. He only serviced them, then sent them on their way," she snickered.
Your mouth fell open.
"Serviced them?"
Vanessa nodded.
"Yeah, apparently he has a thing for eating women out. But he never wanted it reciprocated, and he never actually had sex with any of them. He sent the two or three chicks he did it for straight home after it was over."
Your heart rate spiked. Why was that so hot?
"What? Why would he do that?"
Vanessa gave a lazy shrug.
"I don't know, but like I said, if you don't hop on that train, I will," she winked at you.

That night when you got in bed after you and Vanessa had caught up, you stared up at the ceiling trying to process the information you learned earlier. You hadn't texted Jonah yet. You didn't know if you wanted to after that. It had excited you more than it should have. How could he be so selfless, wanting to give pleasure out to others, only to receive none in return? It didn't make sense.
You tossed and turned in your bed, trying to will the mental image of Jonah's curls between your legs out of your mind. You kicked the covers off of you in a huff, wondering why the hell you couldn't force yourself to sleep. You could text Jonah. Maybe he'd still be up. You could ask him about it yourself. The very thought made your adrenaline spike.
You picked up your phone, and pulled up Jonah's contact information. You chewed on your bottom lip, debating your next course of action. You could call him. You wanted to hear him say it. Something about hearing the words come out of his mouth enticed you. You pressed the call button, shakily pressing the phone to your ear.
The phone rang a couple times, and you closed your eyes. Why the hell would he answer a random call at this hour? He didn't even have your number saved yet because he'd given you the option to reach out to him. And now you are because you're sexually frustrated. What an idiot. You sighed, and you were about to hang up when a deep voice answered the call.
"Hello?"
"I'm sorry, did I wake you?" You cringed, biting your thumb nail.
"No, I was just resting my eyes. It's good to hear your voice, (Y/N)."
You smiled.
"I'm sorry I interrupted your rest. I couldn't sleep."
"Stop apologizing. Why can't you sleep, love?"
"Vanessa came home today. I was so happy to see her. I asked her to actually tell me what they say about you. The rumors..."
The line was silent for a beat. You almost checked the screen to see that the call was still connected, until you heard a low groan on Jonah's end. He spoke in a dark, dangerous voice.
"What exactly did she tell you?"
