Jon "literally James Bond" Pertwee
Direct descendant of Charlemagne, since he descends from the french nobles family "Perthuis" who come from the nobles family "de Perthuis de Laillevault"
Godson of Henry Ainley, the father of Anthony Ainley, who went on to become the master in the Tom Baker, Davison, Colin Baker and McCoy era
Spent 6 years in the Royal Navy with Ian Fleming, the writer of James Bond, and reporting directly to Winston Churchill
Performed (starting at his last years of military service) the role of Chef Petty Officer Pertwee in The Navy Lark's radio series, where the main subject was a fictional boat, HMS Troutbridge that was inspired by the very real HMS Troubridge, whose commanding officer, Thomas Hope, is a distant cousin to Pertwee
Been in The Navy Lark for years, but when it got adapted to TV, the director refused to cast Jon's friend co-star Denis Price for the reason of "he was gay" which Pertwee said "was ridiculous" so the director decided to drop him down too from The Navy Lark
Appeared in the 1953 movie "Will any Gentleman...?" as Charlie Sterling, which was the same movie where William Hartnell played inspector Martin, which is crazy since it was exactly 10 years before Doctor Who debuted, and they will both play the doctor
When Patrick Troughton left Doctor Who, asked his agent to reserve him an audition for the doctor, but was surprised that he was already in their list.
