Now that the zine's been released, here's my piece for Once Upon a Star, a fairytale-themed JotaKak zine!!

This was based off the ballet Coppélia (with Terence D'arby as the Toymaker because it's just too perfect lolll) I definitely learned a lot about painting in lineless style when I was doing the background, especially the Avdol, Polnareff, and Kakyoin dolls. Also tried to go for Don Bluth-esque animated movie poster vibes overall~

Everyone did absolutely amazing work on this zine and it's a free download, so I deffo recommend checking it out!!

Kakyoin echoes the sound, grunting, and Jotaro groans. “Noriaki,” he complains breathlessly, and Kakyoin chuckles, his breath fanning across Jotaro’s collarbones, making Jotaro swallow. Kakyoin shifts and Jotaro wheezes because now his elbow is digging right underneath his sternum, and ow-

Jotaro is straight does the misogyny not prove that? He is straight because he mistreats women the only reason he would even fuck Kakyoin's ass is because hes a twink and he can just pretend hes a girl. Honestly I'm not even saying to stop shipping gay characters together but to stop putting Jotaro in gay pairings because hes not gay!

honestly i got this ask over a year ago and just didn't know how to respond to it until today.

misogyny has nothing to do with sexuality, and i think in jotaro's case he was harassed by girls at school and has the right to tell them to go away if he wants to. i had a similar time in my life where i was harassed/molested/sexually assaulted and hated the whole male gender for years. i did not date boys, because i hated boys. do u think he wants to fuck a girl in that part??? i doubt it even entered his mind as everyone around him was magically slaughtered by stands.

also imagine having gay sex but claiming u had sex bc u pretended they were the opposite gender. no one does this. u put me under the impression u do this, tho. jotaro is obviously not hurting for women. he doesn't need to pretend if hes not an incel neet just like you. if he's straight, he can just have sex with women.

Day 4: Sleepless, PTSD, scars

Day 5: Travel, work/retirement, outdoors

Day 6: Beach, museum, art

Day 7: Vows/promises, rest, safe/content

When submitting something for this project on twitter or tumblr, please tag @oldtakakweek and tag it #oldtakakweek2022! This way your submission will for sure be seen

Beyond minimal usage of flashbacks, NO depictions of these two as minors for this project; please only depict them from the ending of part 4 and on. This project is to celebrate getting older and the life these two in particular could’ve had. So, while there’s nothing wrong with exploring younger jotakak and their dynamic from then, this is not the project for you if that’s what you want to focus on! It’s silly middle-age-to-old-men time

NSFW is ALLOWED considering all portrayals of these two should be well into adulthood in this project. No NSFW-specific prompts will be made, but the prompts are open-ended – so if you get an idea for one that ends up NSFW, feel free
