My friends and I are working on a JJBA fan part about a biker gang! Here's my dude, Derek Brent. He's an amateur rockstar whose personality gets in the way of him having a career. His stand is Shinedown, which can manipulate momentum!
[IMAGE ONE ID: A man in a denim jacket, blue jeans, brown combat boots, and a dark red sh irt with a cross necklace with long dark hair streaked with white poses against a white background. He is smiling suggestively.]
[IMAGE TWO ID: The same man from the previous picture, this time in black and white, is bending over backwards strumming an electric guitar. His expression is smug.]

Yapping about Eternal Days of Night Act 1
This is an Act/Arc from Junius B, which is a JoJoās Bizarre Adventure analog horror Iāve been watching. Itās pretty cool. Very unique for an analog horror. I kinda think of it as Part 6.5. Itās set in the later-ish 2020s, in the ireneverse. Itās about Passione. Post Purple Haze Feedback too. Not flawless (which is normal lol) but I can tell a lot of thought and care went into it. Blah blah Blah.
Spoilers below
Obviously some real 4D chess is going on. In the semi-finale, Ondulata tells Armani āyeah, Dionne isnāt loyal to Passione, sheās loyal to Malavitaā. Malavita has been around since the very early episodes and heās this mf from Diavoloās Passione whoās managed to stay around through everything. Heās not a good person at all. Like GĆ«ek High is the Eldritch horror that haunts Dionne but Malavita imo represents the more grounded and realistic horror that goes on in Junius Bās story
Dude grimey, opportunistic, and manipulative. Like we know for a fact that he got Dionne into Passione, got them addicted to cocaine, and that he and Dionne got some kind of toxic relationship going on. Its not like the two love each other, itās like one night stand things. I think that Malavita is a good example of the mentally conceivable terror. Like I canāt picture and Eldritch horror ass Stand like GĆ«ek High, but I can 100% understand a Mf like Malavita.
An older, experienced mobster mf who has power over Dionne even if Dionne doesnāt realize it or feel like he does. Like the story isnāt grotesque with it but itās established that during Dionneās early career in Passione, he used sex, partying, violence, and drugs to keep Dionne dependent on him and in the gang. BUT, itās also established in the finale that Malavita isnāt some Passione loyalist, heās been feeding information to an northern Italian gang for years. Seemingly since Giovanna took over. Why? He not happy that Passione dropped out of the drug trade and some others. Thatās it. Bro donāt want to be a gang leader or anything apparently
He also knew about Ozzy Brando being in the Eternal Days of Night cult but never told Dionne about it. So to me that says that heās intentionally trying to be messy as hell and puppet master some shit. Like heās the one who wanted Dionne in Passione to begin with and has been stringing this mf along since they met. We donāt even know what broās Stand do and I think that adds some kind of mystique to him. Bro isnāt terrifying because of his Stand, heās terrifying because thereāre a million mfs who move like him irl
I think that Malavita is a fantastic underlying villain because he isnāt this scary ass entity, or some form of trauma. Malavita doesnāt seem like he has any goals outside of making money and getting a lil bit of power. Heās just a small minded mf. Dionne is like 28 years old in Eternal Days of Night, has been knowing Malavita since 25-26 and its wild because they fw Malavita.
Imo heās an interesting minor antagonist because as an audience member Iām like āoh this guy isnāt at all good for Dionne and has motivesā but Dionne is like āme and bestieš¤/shady guy Iām also using but am getting used more by himā. I donāt think Dionne is a victim, D3 likes the coke lifestyle, clubbing, sex, and violence that Malavita offers them but theyāre also not told everything
Shit like this is why I love Junius B but also why I can understand why it isnāt popped off yet. Because this shit is more eerie to grown mfs instead of kids who want fnaf horror and monsters

So, hereās a start at a reference sheet for a teenage Shizuka Joestar. I tried to base the facial structure on the adult shizuka design done by Akaneko.
I just realized that yes, this is a motherfucking Jojo reference.

And thatās the curtain call for tonight~! Things are starting to feel a little familiar around here, time-wise~ With Black Cloverās debut tonight, and the extra time slot, weāre back in the 5 hour range! Brings back old memories. Hell, if things are looking up, we might even be back to our old 6.5 hour challenge again! Of course, thatās still a long ways off, and we still have a recap to get to! Dragon Ball Super: With the tournament all said and done, thereās only one thing to do right? Of course! Have a party! Wait, what do you mean having Beerus dress up as a super version of Monaka to keep Goku from finding out that their secret weapon was just a weak delivery guy who canāt actually fightĀ āwasnāt part of the plan?ā DBZ: Buu can be cruel, but an asshole with a gun and blood lust shows that humanity can be even worse. After Buu revives his poor pet dog from a near fatal gunshot, Mr. Satan makes short work of the gunman, only for him to come back and take revenge by shooting the champ near dead himself! While Buu was able to work his magic again, it didnāt stop his anger from reaching a critical point! Imagine being so angry that it actually manifests with its own physical form. Black Clover: Asta, a young upstart in a world full of magic, finds that not having the magic touch will set him back quite a ways. Although, with his kind of spirit and āBOOMING ENTHUSIASMā Nothing can stop him, not even becoming the laughing stock of his entire class, and almost being killed by a magic chain wielding maniac. Ah well, THE POWER OF THE SATANIC FIVE LEAF CLOVER WILL FIX THAT~! Jojoās Bizarre Adventure: Gets a little up close and personal when the gang comes face to face with Dan of Steel and his stand [LOVERS] a foul thing that might not be very strong, but, itās voodoo doll like ability to inflict the wounds of its user on to the target is dangerous! Leave it to Polnareff and Kakyoin to pull a little improvised brain surgery to hunt down the stand itself, while Jotaro is stuck playing watchdog and bending to the whims of its sadistic user. Iron Blooded Orphans: While Tekkaden gives their all in another battle, they lose a valued one of their own. Aston, who saw himself as nothing but human debris, meets his fate in a pretty rough fight, and Takaki takes it pretty hard. Lucky for him, though, he continues on to make things easier for Tekkaden, by taking out another crooked bastard who made deals under the guise ofĀ āhelpingā them. Hunter X Hunter: The game is over, Gon, Killua, and Bisky have finished it all! With Gon having the top score at the final quiz, Gon gets to meet the brains behind the game, who just so happen to be two friends of his fatherās, who is still nowhere to be found. However, he does have a hint of where to go off to next! However, victory does come at a sad cost, as the trio splits up, with Bisky going off on her own adventures. Farewell, Bisky. Keeping these two knuckleheads together is a tough job, but you pulled it off better than anyone! As for Greed Island, this means only one thing!
Lupin the 3rd: Goes for a simple sunday drive with a stolen car that belonged to a man and the love of his life, Nora, who is slowly slipping away. While he wishes the car to be gone, as the peaceful memories it carries tear at his heart, he also knows that it symbolizes her spirit as it searches for a special hill where they speant so much time together, one last time, and itās taking Lupin along for the ride. All while heās singing a pleasant, lovely, and ultimately heartbreaking tune... Naruto: *completely breaks the fuckin mood* Continues on with thinking back on the good ol days! Especially the time where Naruto and his team went out to meet Gaara on a diplomatic mission between the leaf and the sand village. Oh, and donāt forget when Gaara was attacked by people of his own village because they donāt accept him, just like Naruto!. Outlaw Star: The team is strapped for cash, yet again. Luckily, there is a job they can do~ It involves an ice cream [STAND], a giant cockroach monster, and a space cactus thatās able to puppeteer Jim if heās carrying it. I mean, itās not exactly the strangest job theyāve taken on, but, hey, gotta make that cash! Cowboy Bebop: All seems quiet on the ship, but, the crew has a special guest slithering around. Jet is the first to meet it, when it bites him and knocks him unconscious, with Faye not too far behind him, and Ein makes three! Spikeās busting out all the big guns in order to take out thisĀ IĶŅNĢ¶Ķ ĶĶĶ¢TĶĶĢ”RĶ ĶUĢøĢ·DĢµĶ¢EĢøĢĶRĢ§Ģ·ĶĀ but nothing seems to be able to put it down! What even is this thing anyway?! A secret fridge has the answer, and a valuable lesson for all of us. DO. NOT. Leave space lobster in a fridge for a year, leaving it to grow all kinds of mold that mutates it into a small horrible blob monster that poisons you and all your friends. Ghost In The Shell: The Prime Minister has a target on her head, and Section 9 is on the case! It seems that the culpritsā motives seem to be inspired by an author and their writings that send the perpetrators on a quest to cause trouble and stir up unrest and rebellion. Our nights are getting longer, which means that thereās more fun for us~! Think Toonami has anymore surprises for us, or have the calmed down for now~? Only one way to find out! Join the party next week! Until then, my friends, crewmates, and fellowfaithfuls STAY GOLD!

Anime Fall 2018 Final Impressions + Plans for Winter 2019
Weāre now at the end of the Fall season and 2018 as a whole, but for now letās focus on the shows Iāve seen this season:
Normally I would write my warning that these lists may contain spoilers but surprisingly they donāt feature spoilers here (or probably havenāt been featured in the previous lists, to be honest). I also noticed there isnāt an ongoing from Summer, so thatās kind of surprising too.
AOTS #1-A: Gakuen Basara: Iām no Sengoku Basara person but I had a good time with this show, the animation is not the best, but the humor was gold. My only complaint is that it was broadcast on October 4 (my birthday), raw torrents were nowhere to be found and I had to wait until the next day and I watch the show on Fridays instead of Thursdays, well, at least I had Zombieland Saga. Despite the schedules and poor animation (like gratuitous CG background people), Gakuen Basara is everything I wanted it to be for a school parody anime since Attack on Titan: Junior High. (Maybe I should binge the Sengoku Basara anime sometime...) 8/10 - Rank: A-.
AOTS #1-B: Zombieland Saga: One of the best original anime Iāve seen yet and a solid birthday anime, and I barely see this as a Cygames IP as I kept watching it. Amazing performances, especially Mamoru Miyano, maybe his character is his best one yet.
I genuinely want a second season, the tease at the end is too good to pass on becoming a full storyline (or subplot), and I donāt care if itās going to be as shit as Rage of Bahamut: Virgin Soul, I just want it, already. 9/10 - Rank: S+.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 5: FIGHTING GOOOOLD!!! Another solid part of JoJo, my only complaint with the JoJo anime in general is that Iām not fond with the voice actor changes, some of them are good, some of them arenāt, the thing is that Iām mostly associated with the games like All Star Battle and Eyes of Heaven, itās a little weird for me but itās true. 9/10 - Rank: S.
Goblin Slayer: It may have caused quite a controversy from the first episode alone, but overall, does the anime adaptation even work? Parts of the animation, like action scenes and all, arenāt that great, even Goblin Slayer is animated in CG frequently, but everything else looks decent even by White Fox standards (see Re:Zero, even that one looks way better than this). 7/10 - Rank: B-.
SSSS.GRIDMAN: Iām no tokusatsu person but this was a solid tokusatsu-based anime, and a solid Trigger show post-Franxx, speaking of which, seems like I havenāt seen a lot of hate like it did with Franxx, so I guess the reception for GRIDMAN is positive at best. Also, my Twitter timeline is always full of Rikka and Akane lewds, mostly Rikkaās (but I prefer Akane because Iām a boobs person). 8/10 - Rank: A-.
Gaikotsu Shotenin Honda-san: This one wasnāt in my radar until I kept seeing tweets of the old man buying a yaoi book for his daughter, that made me watch the show and itās pretty good. This reminded me why I like going to the bookstore from a shopping mall. 7.5/10 - Rank: B.
Golden Kamuy season 2 (+ overall review): Everyone seems incredibly disappointed and offended with how the Golden Kamuy anime turned out, especially CG animals, but I found it fun and decent to make up for it. 7/10 - Rank: B-.
Senran Kagura Shinovi Master Tokyo Youma Hen: Aside from the fan service (which, not gonna lie, is something I always look for), I felt like I wasnāt a big fan of this storyline but I guess it was alright. 6.5/10 - Rank: C+.
Ace Attorney season 2: I had originally dropped the show at episode 5 but later I caught up until at episode 9 and I kept watching it. It was pretty weird for me to watch the entirety of season 1 but not watching season 2. 6/10 - Rank: C+.
Tokyo Ghoul:re season 2 (+ overall review): This second season is probably Tokyo Ghoul Root A 2.0 but much worse. Even if I havenāt read the manga, I had no idea what the fuck was happening. I genuinely prefer the first season more than this one. Once again, Pierrot fucked up. Season 1: 7/10 - Rank: B/Season 2: 5/10 - Rank: D.
If Sui Ishida were to make another manga (if he chooses to), I hope it could be adapted by a better studio than Pierrot. But to be honest, he seems better off working as an illustrator than a mangaka, just look at some records that the Tokyo Ghoul fan base was wild.
Dropped:
Bakumatsu: I donāt need to explain this one much since itās a show that came out on my birthday, whatever show I watch, if they donāt convince me enough with the first episode, Iād drop them, and itās basically what I did here.
Onto the show itself, this genuinely reminded me of Touken Ranbu with the time travel stuff, but everything else, eh... not much of my thing. The funniest thing I can highlight is that the characters have their factions imprinted on their hair lighting.
Honorable mentions:
Angels of Death: ...Yeah, thereās a good reason why do I have to bring Angels of Death like itās some sort of ongoing, but itās not actually a two-cour series, itās actually 16 episodes, the 4 ONAs to end the series.
Honestly, I thought they were going to leave it at episode 12 on the TV broadcast and the final episodes should have been on Blu-Ray but theyāre available online or something (Theyāre called ONAs for a reason...). At least they didnāt shoehorn 12 episodes of rushed story like Pierrot with Tokyo Ghoul.
You can read my final thoughts on the show overall on the previous post about the summer anime shows here.
Hiatus:
Attack on Titan season 3: Yeah, AoT somehow disappeared off the air... until Spring 2019. Thatās the most baffling moves Iāve ever seen, but there has to be a good reason for it.
There might have been some sort of production issues or something, but itās so weird that Iām gonna have to wait a long time to watch the second cour.
Now that the manga is gonna end, either thereās gonna be a 12-episode season 4 or WIT might rush to the finale or make an anime original ending or something.
At least they gave us the weirdest teaser for the second cour ever.
Now, letās move on with my plans for Winter 2019! (Should really write down what shows to watch and when theyāre coming out because I tend to forget some, Iām 19 and I got bad memory...)
The Promised Neverland - January 10th: While I donāt read the manga, Iāve always been following DemizuPosuka for her gorgeous art style, from what Iāve seen from CMs, the art style seems pretty faithful, Iām interested to see how this goes.
Mob Psycho 100 II - January 7th: Iām really happy itās getting a new season, I wish One Punch Man S2 could have been a Winter anime so I could have a ONE combo but OPM being on Spring and Mob Psycho 100 on Winter is the closest I get to a ONE combo like I wanted.
I wonder if this season will adapt all the way to the finale, but if itās going to be a one-cour season, I donāt think Bones would skip a ton of chapters and rush the story to the end a la Pierrot with Tokyo Ghoul, it may adapt the middle of it and if it gets a third season, thatās where it would adapt the final chapters. (Hasnāt read the manga at all.)
Kemurikusa - January 9th: With the departure from the Kemono Friends franchise (no thanks, Kadokawa), I wonder what would have been Tatsukiās fate of making new anime (other than doing shorts and posting them on Twitter), but it seems like they were working on an anime project and it turns out to be an all-new series of the original multi-part web series. One question Iāve always had for a while was if this was a prequel or a reboot of the series, but weāll find out when we start watching it and go through until the end.
Kemono Friends season 2 - January 7th: This one is either something Iām really not looking forward or cautiously optimistic, either way, I just want to see how will season 2 perform without Tatsuki. Many people are most likely gonna be boycotting this or definitely gonna watch it but for a different reason, being that the animation looks better than the first one (Please, donāt disrespect Tatsuki and the charm on studio Yaoyoruzuās animation).
As of the writing of this post (Dec.11), the teaser trailer currently sits at 49k dislikes over 5.5k likes and over 8k comments, and at the same time, there was a BTS (Behind-The-Scenes) photo and from what Iāve seen in the replies, the reception is surprisingly positive albeit one Japanese person with the āBring back Tatsuki!ā mood, I do mean it because I thought it would always have negative press, but I think the teaser trailer is its own thing with negativity.
Still gonna watch it, regardless, because Iām on a mission to keep an eye on the future of the Kemono Friends franchise post-Tatsuki, at least on anime like the Japari Park short series, because games, like the Picross game released on October 4th (my birthday. Thanks, I hate it, Kadokawa) for the Nintendo Switch because I donāt own a Switch.
Kakegurui season 2 - January 8th: Iām still baffled how itās getting a second season after the anime original ending from the first one. I really wonder if theyāre gonna follow up from the anime original ending or theyāre gonna retcon that ending and redo it with whatever went from the manga from the Yumeko vs Kirari match (Still havenāt read it and Iām lazy to do so).
Boogiepop wa Warawanai - January 4th: So I guess this is Shingo Natsume/Madhouseās next anime besides One Punch Man season 2, huh? Regardless, seeing trailers of it, looks really nice, but then there were reports that the illustrator of the light novel series wasnāt really happy with the look of the character designs in the anime and it was all Kadokawaās lack of communication, basically Kadokawa is back doing some property damages but not as scarring as Kemono Friends, so I think things are still gonna turn out alright.
Ikki Tousen Western Wolves - January 3rd: Kind of surreal thereās a new Ikki Tousen in this near-2020 age, as of the writing of this (Dec.10), I need to start binging the series now (even if thereās so many god damn seasons to get through and itās gonna take me forever).
Manaria Friends - January 20th: This one seems interesting, it was in development since 2015 and it was supposed to come out in 2016 but for some reason it was put on hold, it was originally produced by studio Hibari but now itās gone completely reworked by a brand new anime studio from Cygames called CygamesPictures. I never actually followed the news of Manaria Friends, so learning about it now feels kind of cheated.
I always thought it had the Rage of Bahamut in the title but it must have been removed (or maybe moetron always tweeted with the Shingeki no Bahamut title with it).
Regardless, after Rage of Bahamut: Genesis and Virgin Soul (the latter which is the most hated, Iām still confused why it is the worst season if I can even process what did I just watch, whateverl, like I care), Manaria Friends seems like itās going to be a better Rage of Bahamut anime, I may be exaggerating but it could really be. (Iām not really a RoB person so canāt say...)
Wāz - January 5th: This is GoHandsā next anime project, itās going to either make or break as much as Hand Shakers. After the HS flop, I ironically want GoHands to succeed with new ideas and stuff besides the K series. Also, how the fuck do you pronounce Wāz?
Mini Toji - January 5th: Thought Iād give up on Toji no Miko after the base show? Apparently not. This oneās a chibi spin-off and itās going to feature the characters from the game, so it sounds interesting. At least this one is going to be 11 episodes long, instead of two-cours like the base show.
BanG Dream! season 2 - January 3rd: This oneās 50/50 because, first of all, Iād love to watch a new Sanzigen anime because I need more Sanzigen in my life, second of all, Bandori isnāt much my thing (Iām lazy to binge the first season and I got other anime to binge too).
...Despite what I just said, I think I might really consider watching it, after all and the third season in October, I donāt really need to watch the first season, I guess. (I lied, I might binge the first season now)
The thing about Bandori S2 and S3 being full CG is like a Monster Strike situation where the first season was 2D hand drawn and the second season went full CG, but the third season came back to be hand drawn with a bit of CG, itās weird and inconsistent for Monster Strike, at least Bandori will remain CG.
Virtualsan Looking - January 9th: Okay, what the fuck, I did not expect this to exist out of the blue. I genuinely never expected an anime centered on VTubers, particularly centered on known names like Mirai Akari, Siro and others would one day exist and that day is here (No Kizuna AI and Kaguya Luna here, strangely).
On December 18th, the trailer, a preview of the opening and the website were launched (see thread by moetron). As for the opening, I felt like they could have chosen the hand drawn animation as shown in 5 seconds because I want to see a full series with the VTubers fully hand drawn animated, but oh well, maybe they would be faithful to their 3D appearances (but Tsukino Mito is kind of Live2D-ish but she was turned into 3D at some point).
Speaking of the trailer, it doesnāt show what the story is about or anything, it just focuses on the VTubers featured in it.
I mean, the concept of a VTuber-focused anime is a good idea and something I didnāt know I desire, but this one, even with its vague teasers, it has potential, could be fun or could be hot garbage, just saying.
Lupin the 3rd: Goodbye Partner - January 25th: I genuinely forgot this existed after it was revealed last month, but hey, thereās a new special happening. I still want a new season of Lupin the 3rd, hopefully as good as this yearās season or even better.
This concludes the list of what shows did I watch this Fall season and what Iām looking forward next season, in the next post, my New Yearās post, Iāll address my overall list of my personal best anime of the year, stay tuned and happy New Year.
