Johnny’s Green Room

Think a rooftop in Rome, but with Carlton chic. Johnny’s Green Room is one of Melbournes best and most expansive rooftop bars located in the landmark King and Godfree complex in Carlton. Up the lifts, you find a big open space patio bar, splashed in neon lights, with 360 degree views over Melbourne. Johnny’s Green Room prides itself on providing ‘Italian rooftop/house party vibes’ with music that can make a good night great.

There is a drink for everyone with classic and house cocktails on tap, easy drinking wines and local and imported beer on tap that can be accompanied by a modern-day Italian snack from the casual list of bar food. 

You can also catch yourself a deal with ‘Johnny’s Pizza Mondays’, where every Monday from 12pm till late the entire pizza menu is $10. They also run various events throughout the year so keep your eyes peeled for what’s coming up next. Previously they have held a Rooftop Festival, Italian Barbecue Snag Party, a Mexican Takeover, a Grand Final BBQ and New Years Eve on the Roof. 

Johnny’s Green Room is ideal for afternoon or after dinner drinks and is open all year round with open fireplaces in winter so the fun and good times never have to stop!
