I mean, they can in a way. I touched on this in an earlier ask, but usually they mark by scent. That's how others can tell the alpha has an omega already. That, or it's pretty normal for an alpha to say so depending on the situation. Omegas can bite alphas, but it's not permanent like an alpha's bite (unless they really take a chunk out of them and scar them)
