Suggested Symfony companies
Symfony is a set of reusable PHP components which enables the developer to create scalable, high-performance applications. Symfony APIs also enable easy integration with third-party applications, and it can be used with popular front-end frameworks, such as AngularJS. It is a component-based framework and offers extensive modularity, and has a great community with lots of learning resources.
It simplifies & separates display code, data management, and business logic. It runs on most platforms.Symfony utilizes Twig to its advantage and enables developers to write clean, concise code and the ability to do more than with raw PHP. Symfony works on reusable component and provides the best modularity. Symfony also utilizes the model and controller for developing a web application, which may look rusty for many new developers, but it works.
Symfony has a MVC type architecture that is ideal for a systematic and scalable web development projects. The ‘Model’ represents the business logic of the application. The ‘View’ renders the specific model into a web page visible to the user and the Controller responds to user actions and prompts changes to the model or view as and when needed.
These are some of the key features that makes Symfony popular
Fast and Easy Development
Comfort and Convenience
User-Friendly and Flexibility
Longevity
Customization
Symfony consists of Bundles and Components. The bundle is like a package of files for implementing any feature. The main benefit of bundles is that they are decoupled. You can reconfigure and reuse them for many applications to reduce the overall development cost. The components are generic features that reduce the routine tasks and allow developers to focus on specific business features. There are 30 helpful Symfony components that facilitate the development process.
Reusing of bundles, an absence of strict dependencies and possibility to create design patterns contribute to better maintainability and testing in Symfony. Unit testing is very easy because of using PHPUnit independent library. Functional testing is also automated to reduce the developer’s routine.
Symfony is reliabile that many platforms such as phpBB, Drupal, Magento, and eZ Publish use its components.Symfony is also a stable and well-tested framework with regular updates. Given below are the list of companies using Symfony for their project.

The resume is dead, or at least, dying
"The résumé is vanishing as a way of representing who you are," says Launa Forehand of Jobspring, a Silicon Valley recruiting boutique that specializes in entry-level and junior placements.
via Your Reputation Is Your Résumé - Technology Review.
If you do not have an online personal branding effort underway, you should start one soon. This applies to 100% of job candidates from inexperienced to experienced in any area of the tech fields - that means from software and hardware engineering to marketing and sales, if in tech. But this applies even to those applying for a job as a barista, now days. "Half of employers 'reject potential worker after look at Facebook page'":
"Keep your gripes offline. Keep the content focuses on the positive, whether that relates to professional or personal information. Make sure you highlight specific accomplishments inside and outside work," he said.
"Don't forget others can see your friends, so be selective about who you accept as friends. Monitor comments made by others and consider using the block comments feature or set your profile to private so only designated friends can view it.
