Kim Seokjin is the epitome of perfect. Impeccable vocals, golden heart, and amazing personality (let's not forget to mention his visuals). He's everything a person can dream for in a significant other. Left and right, women and men woukd swoon over him.

Kim Seokjin is the epitome of perfect. Yet he falls putty at the likes of Y/N, your average neighborhood girl who belongs in the mediocre medium of the population. He forgot to mention though that he hasn't been properly introduced.

There she was, talking to Yoongi in the living room. Jin decided it was time to introduce himself with his secret weapon. Y/N noticed him advancing and she smiled brightly at him. Jin would've tripped then and there had he not held on to the couch beside him. Yoongi, sensing an incoming embarrassment coming his way, left the two to themselves.

Before Y/N could utter a word, however, Jin asked her a question.

"Why don't eggs tell each other jokes?"

Dad jokes. His secret weapon was dad jokes.

From the kitchen, the two could hear the groans of their common friend, Yoongi, who was more than glad he followed his instincts and left.

Y/N giggled, knowing that Yoongi once mentioned Jin's affinity for dad jokes. With full confidence, she answered, "because they'd crack each other up!"

Jin decided this is the woman he would marry.

He wasn't wrong though. After a few more moments and exchange of dad jokes, the two dated. Jin would have to thank Yoongi for introducing him to Y/N, who was, in his eyes, the perfect woman for him.

Their relationship blossomed into something stronger. One day, while they were out on a date at their favorite restaurant, Jin gave her a piece of paper with a drawing of two slices of bread, one kneeling in front of the other.

"Let's grow mold together," said Jin, who was now kneeling in front of Y/N.

"Yes! I'll marry you, Jin." Y/N was crying, he made her so happy that no dad joke can be up to par.

The two lived together after a while. Their friends were more than happy having heard the news. However, it did dawn on them that these two are stuck together forever. Forever. And that means that they'll be bugged by unending corny dad jokes for the rest of their eternity.

Jin couldn't be happier after their marriage. They're still strong after 3 years and are still blissful in this point of their life.

He did notice, however, that Y/N had been weary of him lately. She was beyond nervous and it was painfully obvious to Jin. Those thoughts dissipated when she uttered the words he would never get tired hearing of.

"Honey, I'm pregnant."

"Hello pregnant," he whispers, tears flowing freely, "I'm dad."

hello, this is lin :>

i have an ongoing fic rn called Faith's Games. i update this weekly and try my best to be consistent with my updates. though my audience isn't as big as the others we see on tumblr, i am very happy that a lot of you took time out of your hands to peek at what i offer :>>

when quarantine started here in my country, school was cancelled. we did not have lessons for a month. a few universities have already finished their academic year but the univeristy i go to hasn't. we thought ours will not resume as well ahaha...

however, my school hasn't changed their decision on online classes (meaning we will continue with our semester(?) and have lessons, exams, finals, and the like) so my classes will resume tomorrow and i'll be very busy for the next few weeks especially because i'll be moving up this year :-(

this just means i can't assure any of you that i'll update as frequent as i do but the fanfic will still be ongoing. idk why it sounded like i was saying goodbye oomf
