Talking abt the Mary Sue shit again bcuz the only reason people don’t like it is bcuz they’re looking at it from a writing perspective (for the most part) but when I’m actually in these realities where I’m “overpowered” people are always grateful because they feel safer, like how selfish do you have to be to be like “dont make yourself overpowered it makes your dr boring” like I’m literally going there to save people’s lives?? I don’t care if it’s boring or not

Sometimes i worry about making myself too op in my jjk drs and about what possible ripple effects the things i script about myself will have, like my white american ass having cursed energy...despite it being a japan only thing, and then i remember sukuna and all his bs and go

"Nah, i'm fine, i need all the help i can get" lmao

My ass can:

Create extremely strong barriers (like the ones needed to be tended to)

Use multiple cursed techniques and i have 2 domain expansions

Take other peoples draw backs for them without any problems for myself

Calm people and their mental disquiet just by being around or talking to them (i'm saving geto goddamnit)

Able to revive people within 10 minutes of them being killed with no consequences to speak of

Able to amplify other people's powers (physical and cursed)

Able to revoke others cursed energy or awaken others cursed energy

Able to dogwalk sukuna alongside gojo

Able to seal a soul permanently so that hey cannot reincarnate or body swap (coughcoughkenjakucoughcough)

Not to mention that i changed some hidden inventory arc things so that i can have pre adulthood ties to everyone, like the location of the mission.

Do i worry that i may cause more problems by scripting these things? Yes. Am i gonna let that stop me? Nope.

Been dying to ramble about this dr but with no adult shifters to talk to about it, can get a bit lonely. Feel bad rambling to my one shifting friend about dr she isn't shifting to bc i talk so much lol

okay so this was a request from one of my moots to do this so yeah!!

i have no clue where to start but i’ll talk about some of my desired realities that i shift to but probably mainly non group shift ones so personal ones 🫦

INFLUENCER

- this is one of my most recent drs i’ve been scripting and not gonna lie the main reason i’m shifting here is because of my man 🤭 he cosplays gojo... so you probably know as to why but besides the point, i was raised a nepo baby and younger sister to meghan thee stallion. i am a content creator, influencer (duh), fashion designer and i live with my s/o in the upper east side of new york🗽. i scripted that my first shift will be during christmas eve because who wouldn't wanna experience the city that never sleeps during the festive season and with your partner 😩 it’s gonna be the dream. i have a mad crazy friend group but i love them all because we’re so hot, cool and sexy. i did script that megan’s parents are still alive in my dr so let’s not worry about that. 💀 i dreamt about this dr a couple of times actually and about my s/o 😍, a couple of my friends. really looking forward to this dr.

OUTER BANKS

- i think i shifted here like twice or a couple of times but didn't realise it because i did mention to y’all about chilling with kiara and sarah, another time i did find myself surfing like literally just living the life through the waves and my ass thought it was a dream. looking back i doubt it was, in many instances to be honest. in this dr i am the sister to kiara and my s/o is pope 😌 i grew up a kook but i transitioned to a pogue when i joined the others. i’m the reason behind kiara and sarah making up and i’m close with rafe since kiara and sarah were best friends and probably would have sleepovers together. i scripted that cleo’s lesbian lmao 😭 you know why. i wiped the plot out a little and also made everyone graduate already so that school is out of the way when hunting for the gold.

yep, i have an atla dr yay! in this dr i’m the oldest sister to kiara and sokka. i’m a waterbending master and my s/o’s zuko??? enemies to lovers kinda vibe. definitely part of the gaang and i’m shifting here because atla is part of my childhood. i have the ability to also create ice and other powerful combat skills so i can't wait to experience this universe.

in this dr, i’m a hybrid so vampire and werewolf and an adopted mikealson. i live in new orleans and my parents are rebekah and marcel even though their not my bio parental figures because they are already dead 💀. also hopefully i can survive when dahlia comes in because i scripted that my first shift will be during season 2 😓 well shit wish me luck y’all. at least i’ll get to see baby hope aw.

i have a fame dr because i love attention 🥰 my main profession is being an actor and i’m known for my role in the vampire diaries. i also play robin in the one piece live action and act in many more projects, a nepo baby in this dr too because almost all my family members are well-known. my s/o is caleb mclaughlin? he plays lucas in stranger things and our characters in the show dated so that’s how our relationship sparked.

TWILIGHT

i love talking about drs so yeah i have a twilight dr where when i first shift, i’ll be human but i get turned by a villain in order to send the cullens (my friends) a warning like it’s “game on” so i’m gonna have to mentally prepare myself because i’m gonna basically die 😭 lmao. my s/o is jacob because i’m team jacob simple and it’s a slow burn 😀 woop woop.

kard - the k-pop co-ed group basically, me and the person barely talk so you see why i prefer my personals drs.. yeah. my s/o is enhypen’s jay 😍 and my positions are sub-rapper, sub-vocalist, producer and maknae. i’m always a maknae in k-pop group drs for some reason 😭.

the legacies - person dipped on me and didn't even fill any of their sections so! i’m poly with hope and josie, i’m a werewolf and witch.

harry potter - i’m the head girl of slytherin and my s/o’s draco, i scripted fred’s death out. also shifting to the half-blood prince era.

teen wolf - i’m a tribrid in this dr so i’m gonna be unstoppable!

the vampire diaries - a bennett witch, cousin to bonnie.

one piece (live action) - i’m a phoenix hybrid in this dr and also part of the straw hats, grew up around shanks.

private romantic - umm this dr ticks me off low-key because the person that i’m group shifting with ghosts me 😝 i didn't script an s/o for a reason i’m just gonna ditch them for jonathan daviss 💀💀💀 like imagine fumbling manon (I'm shifting as manon from katseye in this dr) i don’t want that person as my s/o anymore and like we’re “friends” here, miss me with that shit.

my hero academia - the group shift is dead bro no one is fucking talking in the group chat, one of them quit shifting, the other i was pfp matching with changed their damn pfp without telling me. script ain't finished too, they all called it a day. and y'all wonder why i don't wanna join no group shift no more.

DR SELVES — NAME BREAKDOWN

僕のヒーローアカデミア — MY HERO ACADEMIA DR

Karina Shiozaki (火驪南 志尾先)

火 (ka) means "fire, flames or heat" — referencing to the fiery and intense nature of the quirk Karina possesses.

驪 (ri), though literally means black horse, can also be translated to "black dragon" — where "black" refers to the colour of the flames, and as for "dragon", dragons not only symbolize strength and power, but also chaos, which fit perfectly with the nature of Karinas quirk. so, 火驪 (kari) collectively means "strong and destructive black flames".

as for 南 (na), it defines the direction "south". this can be interpreted two ways.

viewing it while keeping the Jujutsu Kaisen pov in mind (although these drs aren't linked, I don't care I'll still add this in), "going south" would mean "remaining true to one's self". in which case, this would signify Karina being true to her own self, her morals, her goals and ambitions, despite the history behind the quirk that she possesses.

even if this quirk originally belonged to AFO, and was only meant to wreck havoc and cause chaos among the masses, and was the reason her parents died before she even appeared on the face of Earth, and was cursed, she will resist it — the curse, and fight against this destructive force of nature, and she will come out on top.

however, "going south" can also be interpreted as, the situation detoriating, and taking a turn for the worse. in which case, this would mean that the quirk will stick with it's original nature of destruction, and for believing the false idea that it could be used to help others, the "curse" will overtake Karina Shiozaki, causing her to take the life of the one person she cherishes most, Katsuki Bakugou.

and if this destiny comes to pass, the distress caused by taking the life of this boy — her lover, will eventually make her lose all morality, and she will inevitably give in to the natural destruction that comes with her quirk.

so, the name Karina (火驪南) ultimately represents not only her quirk, it's strength and it's destructive nature, but the concequences that follow in wake of inheriting this powerful quirk. the two paths layed out in front of her, and in her own hands lies her destiny. what will she choose? and does the person behind the quirk really matter, or does the quirk overpower them?

in Japanese, "shi" is most commonly used for death, but the Kanji character for Karinas surname, 志 (shi), means aspiration, ambition, or goal. this represents Karinas aspiration to become a worthy hero someday who helps others and can be relied on, and the ambition that drives her forward to the path of becoming a hero, and what has now put her in Class 1-A. and ofcourse, the goal to be the best — the number 1 hero — just like All Might, which she works towards everyday along with her classmates.

尾 (o) literally translates to "tail" or "end part". this can be taken in the sense of putting an end to something and beginning something new. in the story, this would mean finally putting an end to the "curse", and starting a new journey with the motive of serving the people, and lending out a helping hand to those who need it.

先 (zaki) means to precede, or to be ahead or first. this not only represents Karinas aspiration to be the number 1 hero, but her being *cough* ahead of her peers *cough* aswell, in terms of strength, and skills.

so, the name Shiozaki (志尾先) embodies Karinas skills, her focus on being better and ahead of everyone else, and the new journey that is about to unfold infront of her.

taking together both the first and last name, the name Karina Shiozaki (火驪南 志尾先) represents Karinas motives and ambitions, her quirk and strength, and the two paths in life of an individual existing in the mha world, the path of justice or its opposite. This name represents her whole being, start to end.

呪術廻戦 — JUJUTSU KAISEN DR

Yuki Kuroyomi (結稀 黒黄泉)

結 (yu) is Kanji for "to tie" or "to bind" something. in regards to the story, it would mean "to bind herself and with something".

稀 (ki) means "rare", referring the rarity of being born as a normal human to a family of sorcerers.

together though, the name Yuki (結稀) represents the rare soul tie that Yuki and Sukuna share (so even when Sukuna, after the Shinjuku Showdown, turns into Pou, rest assured they'll meet in a third life, and it'll be better than the last two).

黒 (kuro) means "black" or "darkness". this refers to both the flame-y cursed technique belonging to Yuki, and the underworld/death.

黄泉 (yomi) represents the land of the dead in Japanese mythology. after her death and after spending a 1000 years in the netherworld, Yuki was reincarnated and sent back to the mortal world once again. "yomi" also relates to her domain expansion, which is the manifestation of the underworld onto the land of living.

so, Kuroyomi (黒黄泉) refers to Yukis cursed technique, and her tie to the underworld manifested in the form of her domain.

the name Yuki Kuroyomi (結稀 黒黄泉) taken together would mean something like "rare tie encompassing even death" (if you catch my drift). this is the reason why both Yuki and Sukuna were reincarnated, and will continue to do so, in each lifetime. where one exists, the other will too.
