Tokyo school

Itadori Yuuji - During his middle school, he was a locally famous grappler known as "Tiger of West High"! He lives to fulfil his role. Fushiguro Megumi - An elite who becomes the head of the noble family Zenin clan at young age of 15 years. For someone like him, he doesn't like eating sweet side dish! Kugisaki Nobara - Called her own face "a precious face", she has a strong spirit in living! She boldly spilled coffee to her homeroom teacher 's shirt. Zenin Maki - After destroying everything, she becomes a monster equal to Touji.

Inumaki Toge - His bishonen position is recognized even by the mangaka. When you can have a conversation with Inumaki, that's the proof of being friend with him! Panda - Shrink a little after breaking up with his older sister and brother. He doesn't want to be left alone with Kashimo. Okkotsu Yuuta - Pulverize a Blattodea cursed spirit with mouth-to-mouth! The next abnormality of modern age after Gojou Satoru. He is too disinterested in his own self. Hakari Kinji - A man who loves nothing more but the fever. His ex-girlfriend was involved in revolving credit so he has experience in being restless.

Hoshi Kirara - Doesn't want to hear about Kin-chan's ex-girlfriend. Yaga Masamichi - Our Tokyo school headmaster who has been pushed around by Gojou Satoru for nearly 10 years, suitable to be awarded a National Honorary Award. Goddamn!! Gojou Satoru - "I can do anything so I should not be doing everything too much", the strongest jujutsu sorcerer who's really high in demand! Kusakabe Atsuya - In charge of all 2nd years in Tokyo school! He can't let go of the lollipop because he is trying to stop smoking.

Ijichi Kiyotaka - A specialist of office work that struggle everyday in a workplace full of anxiety. His special skill is Excel. Ieiri Shoko - Someone strong who had spent her student life with 2 problematic students, Gojou and Getou. Repeatedly stop and return smoking. Nitta Akari - A rookie assistant director who 100% growing! She started to work in the jujutsu kousen to monitor her younger brother.

Kyoto School

Todou Aoi - An 18 years old who will look good in "Heike Monogatari" plays. He successfully decorates the cover of Tankobon volume 5 with his favorite idol, Takada-chan! Kamo Noritoshi - Ex-head candidate of Kamo family, one of the three Great Families of jujutsu world. He looks stoic, but is actually aiming to score 900 in TOEIC. He cut his hair and feel refreshed. Nishimiya Momo - An upperclassman with "I like to fly quietly" hairstyle. Her father is an American and she was born from an unusual jujutsu lineage. Zenin Mai - Leaving only a sword, she took everything from Maki and went away.

Kokichi Muta/Ultimate Mechamaru - The puppet controlled by Kokichi is called "Ultimate Mechamaru". "Mechamaru" was taken from the name of an aircraft in a robot anime. (Kokichi and Mechamaru is considered as one character in voting) Miwa Kasumi - She was from a poor family, so she has been working part-time since junior high school. It doesn't matter if it's not approved. Nitta Arata - When he debuted in "Jujutsu Kaisen", it became a hot topic whether he would be the first character to speak with Kansai-ben or not. Gakuganji Yoshinobu - Kyoto Headmaster who "looks cool when he took off his top". He has a band, but there's no member.

Iori Utahime - She's great at singing!

hi i'm the anon who asked that question about jjk wasted potential and i totally!! agree with your points. I am so disappointed about the wasted potenial of jjk hidden lore. If only I came up with this idea of jjk and write a roller coaster ride of a story. i strongly believe about utahime being the main adult girl of the series. i was thinking how she could have been a great role model to maki and even gojo students while he was sealed. Utahime where were you in the culling game i need dm you

Yes!! I totally agree that Utahime could've also been a great role model/mentor to Gojo's students in general while he was sealed. She could've been shown being worried for them & checked on them from time to time, maybe teaching a class or two, giving an encouraging speech & stuff. Oh, God, the potential 😫...!!

(I also like the HC that maybe Gojo had asked her to help him with the Fushiguro siblings at times. And what about Utahime inspiring Gojo to become a teacher? Those could be nice reveals...😔)

I've actually had all these as ideas for a fic, if I ever get around to it...

Despite her lack of screentime, Utahime is surprisingly the 3rd most popular female character in the Japanese JJK fandom behind Nobara & Maki, as according to last year's 3rd character popularity poll, she ranked 14 (formerly at 15, so she went up a rank from the previous poll even though she had been absent from the main story for several chapters; the 3rd poll was conducted right before her reappearance with Gojo 👀). Her power 💅...

(Wonder where she'll rank this time in the upcoming 4th poll, esp now that we've got her CT reveal 🤔)

A lot of her fanarts on Twitter, for example, garner tons of likes & some dudes see her as waifu material, lol. Just imagine if she had more screen/panel time... If Gege cared to flesh her out more, give us her background... How much more popular would she be? 😩

Not to mention, GjHm is the most popular JJK straight ship in Japan as well, according to Pixiv. If GjHm had more interactions... It'd be such a powerful ship, like I know, I know more people would be onboard with it if they just had more interactions, more Utahime screentime... 😫. I find it funny when I sometimes see non-shippers, esp dudes, consider Utahime as Gojo's love interest or make jokes of something going on between them (triggering antis in the process). It's like they see her as the most likely to end up with him 🤣👀.

Some people have come out of the woodworks to say they like the ship but were afraid to say it (in their circles, at least) for fear they'll be attacked by antis. How many more are secret GjHm fans? When will people learn to just ship & let ship? 😮‍💨

And yes, where the heck was Utahime during the Culling Games? What was she doing? Her CT would've been useful. And wasn't one of the rules that any sorcerer who didn't enter the games would be stripped from their CT? How did she manage to not to be affected? Was she under protection? It hasn't seemed to have affected anyone so far, though? Did Gege forget?

But anyway, yeah, if only Gege had cared enough to flesh out his characters more... 😮‍💨

Yuta/Ishigori has to be a thing, but I've surprisingly never seen any fanwork for it.

is ishigori just not very popular? I can see that since the first time I read through the Culling Game arc I was mostly indifferent to the new characters. But upon rereading it, he's one of the ones I actually quite like.

Higuruma is my #1 of course. Loved him the moment we met him.

Kashimo is shockingly popular imo. And Hakari did place right under him in the last jp popularity poll... 18th and 19th respectively. So, I guess their fight was really well received... Actually, among the new characters, they placed the highest. (I mean, I know we knew of Hakari before, but I'm counting him as "new" since we only met him once the Culling Game began.)

Higuruma placed 20th btw.

Takaba is 31st.

Ishigori at a whopping 40th place.

Hana is 42nd.

Rokujushi Miyo at 43rd, then Kirara at 44th. Only 1 vote difference between them. Miyo is the sumo guy. I had to look him up because I didn't remember his name.

Allll the way at 57th we got Hagane Daido (the katana guy) and Uro with 13 votes each.

Reggie Star, Gorilla, and Kogane at 62nd place with 10 votes each... Reggie... I mean, sure I didn't like him, but he's not a bad character. His line about jujutsushi being con artists is one that's constantly brought up in the fandom, and one I personally think about too. The fact that he shares a place with Panda's imaginary brother who only showed up in one chapter and Kogane, the Culling Game's UI, is pretty sad. Lol. Not that Kogane isn't kind of cute, but...

Kurourushi (the cockroach curse *shudder*) is 66th with 9 votes.

ANGEL is somehow lower than that at 69th with 7 votes. (I don't understand jp fandom sometimes. HOW was the ROACH higher than Angel?)

Charles Bernard and Iori Hazenoki at 74th with 6 votes each. Kinda surprised about Hazenoki, tbh. Thought he had the kind of pretty boyish design that'd make him popular. Maybe his cursed technique is too offputting?

Remi at 78th. Deserved, but still a little surprising. She's cute looking.

YOROZU IS 84TH!!!! That's absolutely wild. I guess JJK fans like batshit women a lot less than in other fandoms??? I don't know! She just seems like the type of character that would be a lot more popular than is reflected in the popularity poll. Maybe it's because Megumi is consistently #1 in popularity? So people who like Megumi dislike Yorozu???

Or maybe it has to do with the timing of the poll... Let's see... The voting period ran from March 3rd to March 20th. Yorozu showed on January 28th and her last appearance before voting ended was in chapter 217 when her fight with Sukuna began, March 19th...

Honestly, that's probably where her last-minute votes even came from. So, yea, if given enough time to cook, I have to believe she'd be higher ranked. I mean, I don't even like Yorozu that much! But she feels totally misplaced!

A lot of the newer characters haven't reached the popularity of the older ones huh. Like, I think Ino (27th), Yaga (39th), Riko (47th) are fine, but I would've expected their places to lower more to make room for the newer characters. Then we've got, freaking Jinichi Zen'in at 46th. Or White Jade Dog at 49th! YUJI'S MOVIE TRAINING TEDDY IS AT 51ST!!!

Anyway, some of these new characters are super underappreciated. lol.

Chapter 215: Fearsome Womb, Part 7

Opening words: “Sukuna and Itadori face off. The one approaching is…!”

Aaaaa, beautiful lead color page! 😍 This flying cursed spirit suddenly reminds me of the one that both Nanako and Mimiko travelled on back in Volume 0. Also Suguru's flying manta ray cursed spirit in HI arc, when he rescued Riko :')

》 Meguna/Sukumi: “Nonetheless, a job half-done [will] cause problems.”

Here, Sukuna said, 「やはり何事にも仕上げは必要だな」 (yahari nanigoto ni mo shiage wa hitsuyō da na), which means as translated above. Official translations was weird, so I think it might have been a copy-paste mistake.

》 Yuuji: “This guy... won't die even if you kill him.”

"Even if you kill him" is the accurate translation.

》 Yuuji: “You... are really boring.”

This one's easy to miss but FYI, this phrase is most likely a callback to chapter 11 (see right panel)! Here, Yuuji uses the same words Sukuna had used on him when he was inside Sukuna's innate domain — 「オマエはつまらんな」 (omae wa... tsumaran na). In this instance, however, Yuuji added in, "really" — 「オマエは本当につまらんな」 (omae wa... hontōni tsumaran na).

》 Sukuna: “You... are boring.”

Just a note that in this panel in chapter 11, Sukuna was belittling Yuuji and seeing him as inferior to Megumi Fushiguro.

Just wanted to explain that here, Maki (I'm assuming this is her dialogue) is basically meaning that it's weird seeing how good "Megumi" is at fistfights. It sorta implies that Megumi wasn't that good at hand-to-hand combat in her pov, but since right now he's possessed by Sukuna, "Megumi" is much better at it. In addition, the "Megumi's face" isn't a wrong translation but you can also say, "It's weird to see him good at fistfights with (using) Megumi's body."

》 Maki: “Even if he won't die, does that mean he can heal the wound [inflicted] from the "Split Soul Katana" using Reverse Cursed Technique..?”

Officials didn't include the "using RCT" part, which needed to be said.

》 Maki: “Yuuji... At any rate, our goal is to capture that thing even if it means killing (it), right?”

捕まえる (tsukamaeru) means to catch, arrest, grab, capture, or seize. Not stop. And FYI, Maki referred to Meguna/Sukumi as "that," or like Kenjaku once labelled Yuuji - "that thing".

Just wanna say that "Maximum Output" isn't a new type of CT by Uraume; 'cause I saw some people going crazy over it calling it a new Uraume CT. (I bet they're speedreaders lulz.) In this instance, Uraume basically exerts the highest (aka max.) output into their "Frost Calm" CT. Reminder that Gojo also used Maximum Output before, back in Shibuya... if anybody forgets.

》 Meguna/Sukumi: “Spectacular view! Spectacular view!”

Sukuna praised this view and said, 「絶景.. 絶景..」 (zekkei.. zekkei..), which is a flowery Japanese term that means an unsurpassably beautiful scenery. I just chose spectacular because it's another word for "extremely beautiful", so... yall can choose whatever you like I guess. It can be "cool," it can also be "awesome." [I just had a pop quiz on this kanji a week ago so it's still fresh in my memory LMAO.]

》 Meguna/Sukumi: “It doesn't matter whatever you do with that brat, I'm already done with him.”

》 Meguna/Sukumi: “But it was the right choice to focus your cursed energy on that woman.”

Sukuna said 「偏らせた」 (katayora seta) which means biased, leaned, prejudiced. I believe in this context, it just means that Uraume had focused their cursed energy on Maki.

》 Meguna/Sukumi: “Let's complete this body.”

Official translation is kinda alright. Meanwhile, what I've offered is just the literal translation and it sounds weird, lol, but it just means that the body is still incomplete - so they gotta do their stuff to achieve the desired, final form.

》 Meguna/Sukumi: “Get the "bath" ready.”

Yes, "bath" was in quotation marks. The raws were 「"浴"の用意をしろ」 (“yoku” no yōi o shiro). Now why am I imagining the "bath" to be with blood instead of water!

》 Meguna/Sukumi: “Just like always... [You're] meticulous.”

FYI, Sukuna used an idiom in this dialogue. He said 「相変わらず洋い所に手が届く」 (aikawarazu yō kayui tokoro ni te ga todoku), which literally translates to: "Just like always, your hand reaches the itchy areas/places."

The idiom here is 「洋い所に手が届く」 (kayui tokoro ni te ga todoku), and it means "to be extremely thorough" or "to focus on the little details." Simply put, this expression can be used for someone who is "meticulous"; one who is able to pay attention to every single detail, no matter how tiny.

Additionally, in the service industry, this phrase implies that one must have precise knowledge of the needs of the person that they want to serve. So the phrase can also be used when one wants to be "attentive to someone's every need/wish."

》 Meguna/Sukumi: “Look!! There was [someone/something]... From Harima!!”

The text in the JP raws was very vague; it was 「ほらいただろ!!! あの播磨の!」 (Hora itadaro! ! ! Ano Harima no!) which translates as above. Meanwhile, TCB translated this particular dialogue to "Told you!! He's like that guy from Harima!!"

In my opinion, I am leaning more to the official Viz translation because I looked up the "Harima statue" on Google and these particular statues (see below) bear a semblance with Yuuji's facial expression in the last page. And I think the statues actually make the most sense, especially with what Uraume said next about Yuuji's mouth, as compared to if they were talking about a Heian-era person whom only the two of them know. I don't think Gege would do us dirty like that for not getting the joke.

My JP understanding is still amateurish but I hope yall will allow me to share my own insights on certain dialogues just so we can learn and understand each other’s interpretations, and also to kindly correct me wherever I had been wrong. Ok the latest poll got me thinking about what characters were on that list last time. So this is basically me side eyeing everyone for their choices last year

Megumi - I get it. Megumi’s pretty cool. Took me a while to get to that point but I’ve accepted this man’s popularity and I just go along with it. Really don’t have anything else to say about him.

Gojo - Can’t believe he was still in the box during this. You can tell how strong the Gojo fans are because he has not been seen in action for YEARS yet you’re still voting for him. Props to you I guess. Good luck beating Gege and getting him 1st in the next poll

Yuji - Ok my boy was not fighting in the TRENCHES to become 3rd in his own series. Yes he should have gotten 1st yes I will stand by that until the day I die and yes I still can’t believe he got outdone by a guy in a box.

Geto - I know you’re all coping bc of his death with him being in top 5 and honestly me too. Gege still won’t let this poor man rest so you won’t let the anyone else in the fandom rest as a consequence. Don’t expect him to be in top 5 again but who knows.

Nanami - Overtime sorcerer SUPREMACY. I best see him here again because he does not miss. Nanami fans are the real ones so I’m not dragging on him.

Inumaki - Salmon Salmon. For a man who also hasn’t been seen in 2 years he did pretty well all things considered. I’m still waiting for him to show up so until then you go Inumaki fans.

Choso - Ok I’m just salty here but you lot really put HIM here on the top 10. How much screen time did this man really have. He did not deserve to be placed that high and if I see him being placed higher than Yuki then we know it’s on sight. He’s great and all but really? Just really?

Yuta - As a resident Yuta has never done anything wrong, I am disappointed in all of you. Did vol 0 mean nothing? Was his interactions with Yuji nothing to all of you. To the point of Choso overtaking him. Smh

Toji - I’m going to assume it’s the horny and leave. You did not drag the no child support, fugly grey sweatpants, boring ass guy into the top 10. Just admit that he’s hot and take your leave. Ok being fair he was a good antagonist during the hidden Inventory arc but istg if I hear more Toji stuff we are not going to see me again.

Naoya - OK LISTEN UP HERE EVERYBODY. HOW MANY PANELS DID THIS FUCKER HAVE. WHAT IN THE ABSOLUTE HELL DID HE DO IN THE ENTIRETY OF THE MANGA OTHER THAN BEING COOKED BY MAKI. IM WAITING. This just feels like fandom misogyny as the next two people are in the manga for 10x longer and did more things overall, to then be overshadowed by this dickhead.

Nobara - My beloved you did not deserve to be snuffed out of top 10. I am still on that copium that she’s still alive but honestly you really had to do her like that :(

Maki - Ok this is where I really question some of your tastes. So she had one of the PEAK arcs in all of the manga, went to hell and back and served us in every shape and form and this is what she gets. Losing to Naoya. Sukuna - Right, he’s a bit of a guilty pleasure as he is one of the funniest characters in this series after Kenny and Todo. Am suprised that he didn’t hit top 10 but he’s been binding his time to skyrocket to the big numbers especially in the recent chapters.

Utahime - OMG OMG OMG OMG. This was very unexpected. I thought Shoko would be here (she’s 24th) but I am grateful for it. The voice at the back of my head is trying to say that it’s cause of the shipping but I am ignoring it to focus on my girl entirely. Congrats everyone. If she manages to get in the top 15 again, do you think Gege will add more to her character. Nah he’ll probably just put her on the hit list which is not what we want to see here.

Yeah I think the poll overall was alright and obviously was for fun but after the placement of certain characters you know I’m side-eyeing you lot.

TGCF. It was actually the first danmei I ever read, and I just adore it. Although, SVSSS gets better each time I reread it.

Hualian. Devoted believer X forgotten god is an incredible dynamic, and I love both of them so much. I love that their relationship just grows. It doesn’t rely on too much drama or miscommunication.

Xie Lian (a pattern emerges!) He is such well-fleshed out character. I love how he has so many different facets: soft/strong, wise/foolish, kind/unyielding, shameless/sensitive, etc.

Hua Cheng! His design is so bold, I think it would be so fun. Plus, I would feel like a badass with Eming.

Tianlang-jun X Yue Qingyuan. I just. Like this ship a totally normal amount.

Tianlang-jun. That man was such an absolute mood. I just want to get his take on totally random, everyday things.

Honestly, I can’t think of any! I feel like all the characters I’ve encountered in danmei so far have served a purpose, so even if I don’t like them, they still contribute to their respective novels.

Probably SVSSS. I feel like my survival rate would be the highest.

XIAO XINGCHEN!!!!!!!! MXTX novels have so many characters that deserve to be resurrected, but I am never getting over Xiao Xingchen. I just want him to be happy!

Jin Zixun. I resurrect him, then kill him again just for spite.

Wangxian. Only Wangxian doesn't have 1 person in the couple that would just be pissed off at someone 3rd wheeling. They're used to it with a certain Ghost General.

Hua Cheng. Where to even begin? The butterflies, the spiritual energy, E'Ming. Honestly, him being able to turn people into budaoweng dolls might just be my favorite of his powers.

We all know it's Su She. Don't even pretend it's not.

Lan Xichen. I bet he'd have a really random taste in music.

Meng Yao. He would figure out modern-day etiquette and tax loop holes in no time.

I want Chu Wanning's wontons!!! Erha has the best food descriptions, but the wontons also stood out to me. I am actually really hungry now that I think about it.

Nie Mingjue. He's still got the 'stache so he can just go around looking like a biker dude.

There is no fucking way Qi Rong can swim. Even if he could swim, he just wouldn't. He'd thrash around to make a scene.

Luo Binghe, because of the protagonist halo.

Jingyi would definitely watch anime despite it not being allowed in cloud recesses. I think he'd like the classic Naruto/Dragon Ball Z shonen, but I also think he'd like magical girl anime even though he's too embarrassed to admit it. Shen Yuan and Shang Qinghua DEFINITELY used to watch anime. SY probably watched things he thought would have a good plot (Death Note, JJK) and SQH has absolutely watched hentai.

Zhuzhi-lang? I don't think he would view it as a sexual thing, but I can see him being interested in animal behavior. Plus, Tianlang-jun would be laughing his ass off in the background.

Nie Huaisang.

Shi Mei. Everybody would assume. that he's shy and not a good actor, but he's responsible and literally the only child in the sect that can stand perfectly motionless for the entire duration of the play.

Luo Binghe. Seriously. I *poorly* explained TGCF and SVSSS to her, and she said LBH was "sweet". EDIT: She now says she wants to svsss, which is a turn of events I did not anticipate.

I'd love to be adopted by Jiang Yanli.

Wen Ning. Is he an adult? Yes. Would I still adopt him? Absolutely.

MM here with a bit of a ranty post (so please bear with me).

I was thinking. You know how there's a theory that Utahime is the other traitor, right? What if, WHAT IF, that's the reason why she didn't appear in the JJK 0 movie? Because she was in the background doing evil shit? 😳

Honestly, Utahime not appearing in the movie doesn't make any damn sense. I know the cope now is that Gege is saving her CT for later, which sounds like a valid reason at first sight, but... Why not just show her doing hand to hand combat like they did in the anime?? They did NOT have to show her technique for her to appear in it!

To not show her around while her students were risking their lives was just such a odd decision, specially when you consider that minor characters like Kusakabe and Ino appeared (she's top 3 female character in polls! Come on).

So, there are only a couple of reasons that I can think of as to why this happened:

1. Utahime is the traitor (still have my doubts about this one, I think she cares about her students too much to pull this).

2. Gege really is saving her CT for later. But he handed it TERRIBLY by thinking removing her from the movie altogether was the way to go about it.

3. Gojo asked her to do something in the background?

4. Gege does not give a flying f*** about her character.

The last one is scary, but considering how Gege, just like most shounen authors, have a clear bias towards male characters it wouldn't really surprise me. Male authors spend the whole Manga developing M/M bonds, while their female characters and M/F dynamics always feel like an afterthought. All while we're left lamenting the wasted potential *sigh*

Look at Sashisu, for example. Satoru, Shoko and Suguru. The OG trio. Look at how well the relationship between Satoru and Suguru has been explored, while Shoko is just... There. Nothing about the way Suguru's downfall affected Shoko. Nothing.

It is always the woman getting pushed to the side (Oh Nobara, my dear).

I would personally love it if Shoko ended up being the traitor, because it would be a good way to bring her to the forefront. There's just something about Kenjaku getting a hold of Geto's body that doesn't sit right with me.

I could see him manipulating her feelings for Geto, making her believe that there was a way to bring him back to life if she handed him his body.

But yeah, I just wanna see her doing something. Even if it means Gojo going through even more pain 😬

So after that rant, the actual questions! (I think I forgot this was an ASK 😂).

How would you feel about Utahime or Shoko being the traitor? Are you satisfied with the way Gege is handling the female characters? And most importantly, What in the world were they thinking when they decided not to include Utahime in the movie?! (Seriously, I'll never get over it).

My vote for Utahime not being in the movie is your 2nd or 3rd theory. Ngl, if we didnt get the one shot recently, I would choose your 4th theory but not now that we saw Utahime having good relations with even Yuuta.

For SHOKO.......OMFG. I love her character sm bc of all the possibilities. She has a very unpredictable vibe that makes you wonder what is going on with her. For sure it wasnt only Gojo who was greatly damaged emotionally with the events with Riko and its rippled events with Suguru... so Shoko acting out of track because of it is really plausible.

As much as I want Utahime to be the traitor to take on the spot light, Shoko having that role will be a lot more satisfying for me too. The impact would be top tier plot twist.

As previously mentioned, each time you see Sukuna says "boy" for Yuuji, it's actually "brat" 'cause he's always a rude mf to our baby.

》 Meguna/Sukumi: "Kenjaku, you bastard.. always doing the nastiest/sickest shit!"

What I've offered is just my personal interpretation, 'cause yeah... Sukuna. The actual translation is literally just "That damn/mf Kenjaku always doing the nastiest/sickest things." You could also say, "That damn/mf Kenjaku is nasty/sick/twisted."

》 Meguna/Sukumi: "Well, if you ask me [for my opinion]..."

The actual translation for the right panel is "if you ask me..." so this one's a slightly better way of wording it to follow up with Sukuna's next statement: "Why are you all so weak?" I'd also like to add that by "you all", Sukuna just means the humans, in general.

》 Meguna/Sukumi: "[You're all] creatures that crumble to the dust at the slightest touch. How can you say things like you wish to be happy forever and such..?"

Official translations worded the whole thing differently but the message is somewhat there, I guess..? My translation might be off too but I think it's understandable.

Just a note that the kanji used for "misery" in this chapter was 不幸 (fukō), which also means unhappiness, suffering or misfortune, but the furigana in this dialogue reads おれ (ore) which means I, or me. Officials opted to go with "THIS" and in bold, which isn't wrong 'cause that's essentially referring to Yuuji as the misery.

Additionally, I don't know if "stifle" is the appropriate word but the raws was 「 噛み潰す」. The kanji 噛 comes from the verb 噛む (kamu) which means bite or chew, whereas 潰 means crush, ruin or break. I think the suitable word here could be literally "chew up", or perhaps "swallow" (like in swallow your pride) - instead of stifle.

I know how Yuuji was gonna move towards Meguna/Sukumi right after this, but the latter never literally said "come closer" ahaha. It was more of "come at me" or "try me" that sort of thing.

Ui Ui – Mei Mei’s younger brother who wants to be “sister’s possession”.

Haibara Yuu – Nanami’s classmate during high school. He is confident in his ability to see through people. Tsukumo Yuki – Someone who scouted Todou as jujutsu sorcerer. Ishigoori Ryuu – Super sweet heavy smoker who shoots beams from his regent hairstyle. Uro Takako – Called everyone she can’t stand “Fujiwara”! Kurouroushi is truly disgusting.

Charles Bernard – A rookie mangaka who breaks the other person’s finger when they pointed out that “actually fingers don’t bend this much”. Curse Spirits

Ryoumen Sukuna – The one and only King of Curse who was feared since his previous life! After being sealed for 1000 years, he becomes a master at silently passing time. He spends time inside Itadori’s body staring blankly.   Jougo – He boasts great strength enough to get Sukuna’s seal of approval. His head erupts when he gets mad. Hanami – The head of Gardening Club type that will definitely protect the nature! Dagon – Thoughtful of his friends, especially like Hanami.

Mahito – A curse created from the combination of simple-mindedness and slyness of human. He enjoys watching movies and reading books to learn more about human life. He has remembered “Happy Birthday” Special-grade curse spirit – Has blocked Megumi’s way many times. It will be not a wonder if becomes Megumi’s trauma. Flyhead – Their population is high, but every face is different. Orimoto Rika – Really love Okkotsu Yuuta!

Tamamo-no-Mae’s Avatar – One of Getou’s trump cards! Storage-type curse spirit – Make a vomiting noise when he gets something out of his mouth. Rainbow Dragon – Have a strong body fitting for its name. It has 3 eyelashes. Kuchisake-onna –Touji said “You’re not my type!”

Locust GUY – The name is given by Mahito. Smallpox god/Smallpox hag – The real name seems to be “Smallpox hag”, but whichever is fine! Kurouroushi – Blattodea curse spirit. It really likes the taste of iron. It loves it so much that it becomes restless.

The Kusouzu Brothers

Chousou – The oldest of the three Kusouzu siblings. Whatever the time, he always thinks about his younger brothers, an exemplary older brother! Esou - The middle brother of the three Kusouzu siblings. He has a complex about his festering back. Kechizu - The third brother of the three Kusouzu siblings. Calls Chousou “Anija*”, calls Esou “Anija”

Curse Users

Getou Suguru – Even if you say that his bangs are weird, or that he has the face of a liar, it is no one’s doubt that he is more popular than Gojou! Yoshino Junpei – A second year high school student who becomes a curse user because of his fascination to Mahito. There are only two “Human Centipede” movies. The third movie is a little bit… Hasaba Nanako – Twins saved and raised by Getou. Her surname is Hasaba. Hasaba Mimiko – Twins saved and raised by Getou. She really loves Getou.

Miguel – Getou’s ally. Caught by Gojou during “Night of One Hundred Demons”, he was forced to take care of Okkotsu. Suda Manami – Getou’s ally. Big sister who is older than Getou. Larue – Getou’s ally. His nipples look like a pair of hearts. Negi Toshihisa – Getou’s ally. There’s a rumor that he is not actually that strong.

Kumiya Juzo – He wants to make Gojou hanger rack, that’s all! Shigemo Haruta – He doesn’t seem to get along with Mahito and others, but he himself doesn’t care. Uraume – Sukuna’s close aide. A curse user with talent as a chef. Fushiguro Touji – The black sheep of Zenin family who has nicknamed “Sorcerers killer”, professional himo* who is also Megumi’s real father.

Kon Shiu – An ex-detective that the mangaka said to be cool in the past edition. Bunshin technique user – Even though he has a great ability, but he doesn’t use it properly, so he is KO’ed by Gojou using an uppercut. Shikigami user – His only friend is Tasuke the Shiba dog. Ebina Niji – His unique face which can be mistakenly thought as cursed spirit is impressive! Tossed away by the pair of siblings Mei Mei and Ui Ui in one act.

Awasaka Jirou – Victim of Gojou’s explosive birth. A huge liar. Grandma Ogami – A member of Jr. fanclub in the Idol office. Her favorite is Shiroyama Tomokazu’s motif.   Ogami’s grandson – Touji’s soul is released inside his body, but his body gets hijacked instead. Kenjaku – A curse user toying with Getou’s body. He does a lot of unbelievable things, believing that “humanity can do so much more!!” (Votes for Old Kamo Noritoshi and Itadori Kaori will be counted for Kenjaku).

“Q” organization

Kokun – He was captured by Getou without being heard, that he’d like to reform, go back to the countryside and grow rice. Vayer – He boasts the strongest power in “Q”, but defeated by Gojou only 5 panels after confronting him.

Star Plasma Vessel and her Caretaker

Amanai Riko – She won’t touch shiitake mushroom, but if it’s chopped finely, she will eat it without noticing. Kuroi Misato – She is 31-years old caretaker of the Star Plasma Vessel who’s often mistaken to be a student. She’s great at Mario Kart.
