Jinx would absolutely think that playing the drums is easy at first.

She thought it was cool, but she wasn’t overly impressed.

That was until she heard you play.

Cue her raised eyebrows and curious smirk.

She tries it for herself just to make sure, but once she realizes that her playing doesn’t sound even remotely close to yours, that seals the deal.

This made her have a more analytical approach while watching you play. She wanted to understand the complexity of playing the drums.

She started noticing the rhythm and coordination, the timekeeping, the patterns and techniques, and it fascinated her.

She definitely appreciated your skill more after that.

Jinx would randomly come over, take a seat on the stool, and start hitting your drums as a way to relieve her tension.

She likes how the percussions drown out the voices, similar to her bombs.

So you let her, but a part of you would be worried about her damaging the set with how angry she could get.

She actually cracked your cymbal once and almost cried.

– “I didn’t mean to! I swear, I didn’t mean to!”

You had to comfort and reassure her that it happens sometimes, even to you.

She helped you repair it, of course, but she still gifted you a replacement for good measure.

After this, Jinx wanted you to teach her how to play. She said she was just itching to pick up a new skill, but she mostly wanted to learn how to properly care for your drum set so she could keep using it without the fear of damaging it.

She listens attentively while you show her the basics.

With her newfound understanding, she’s actually not half bad for a beginner. She picked up the rhythm quickly, and she already had natural coordination.

But this just inflated her ego.

– “Ha! Told you it was easy.”

She doesn’t mean what she says, she just loves to tease you.

You keep your worn-out drumsticks for her to snap in half when she gets upset.

The sight of you playing the drums turns her on.

The way you sit on your stool, looking so laid-back and confident. The way your arms tense ever so slightly as you play so effortlessly, lost in your own world.

It’s over if you start spinning your drumstick between your fingers.

Whenever she catches you lying on your stomach, she will pounce and start “drumming” on your backside.

You’ve become used to it after a while, so you just continue whatever you were doing and let her do her thing.

She will sometimes sit on your lap while you play, not caring if it distracts you. She just wants to be close.

Or she will straddle your lap and start kissing your neck, smirking to herself as she hears your playing falter while you get lost in the sensation.

– “Don’t mind me. Continue,” she’d murmur against your neck.

– “You’re such a tease.”

Jinx was slightly jealous when you told her about your small band. She wanted you all to herself, after all.

But, surprisingly, she didn’t try to pull you away from it either. She knew how much being able to express yourself through your music meant to you.

So, she settled on being there for you during your rehearsals.

She was, of course, analyzing the band’s dynamics, too, and taking notes of how the other members treat you.

Each glance, touch, and praise from them ignited her jealousy, but she remained collected, wanting to trust you.

But she’ll remind you, in more ways than one, that you’re hers after the rehearsal.

Jinx was the one to convince Silco to let your small band play at The Last Drop.

She wanted you to get some recognition, and she also wanted to show you off.

Silco protested at first, wanting only the best of the best to play at the bar, but her relentless arguments finally made him crack.

She obviously helped you transport your drum set and get set up.

The night of your first gig, you were nervous—and that’s putting it lightly. You didn’t want to disappoint the Eye of Zaun, after all.

But Jinx kept reassuring you, and when it was time for you to play, she was right there in the front row.

The patrons’ curious eyes had your heart thudding in your chest, but once you caught a glimpse of her soft and comforting gaze, nothing else mattered.

You let go of your inhibitions and started the show, quickly getting lost in your own world.

Seeing you let go of your fear and allowing yourself to enjoy the moment was beautiful to witness, and her eyes glimmered with pride as she tucked her lower lip between her teeth.

She didn’t care for the other band members. Her focus was solely on you. She knew that you were the one setting the tempo.

Her cheers could be heard over the hectic atmosphere of The Last Drop. The usually mysterious ‘loose cannon’ aggressively bobbing her head to the music was definitely a sight to see.

Once the gig was over, she ran up to you and kissed you passionately, unable to contain her excitement anymore.

Silco was impressed with how well you did and allowed you to continue playing from time to time.

Some things never change, and Jinx is always there to support you.

She also became your personal stylist, helping you put together outfits for each show.

– “You’re famous now, you have to look the part!”

You were definitely not famous—recognizable at best—but you appreciated her gesture.

She had Silco buy you a drum set to keep at The Last Drop so you didn’t have to worry about transporting your own each time.

He deducted it from your pay behind her back, but you didn’t have the heart to tell her.

She definitely marked your new drum set with her signature drawings.

She has a stash of drumsticks in her hideout in case you run out, and she’s so pleased with herself when it proves to be helpful.

She often asks you to play random sounds.

– “Oh! Oh! Play ‘ba dum tss’.”

And she laughs once you do as if it’s the funniest thing ever.

She gets her own private shows while she tinkers, and it always amazes you how she can maintain her focus while you play.

Whenever you mess up or get frustrated while learning a new song, Jinx is right there to comfort you.

She understands the pain of trial and error and what it’s like to not feel up to par, so she’s determined to chase those thoughts away from your mind.

– “You’re amazing, toots. Don’t ever doubt that. You’ll master it in no time, I know it.”

She would help you crack the pattern, and the both of you jump up and down in excitement once you finally learn it.

It’s safe to say that Jinx is your number one supporter.

Sorry it’s kinda short. I wasn't feeling this prompt for some reason :/ hope you like it at least a little

-100% tricked when your toddler was a baby, they pretty quiet and went to bed without too much of a fuss

-Apparently they were just saving all their energy for when they hit year 2

-Very much like jinx in the good but slightly tiering way very artistic (though you struggle to figure out what they’re drawing) and always running around jumping off of something (which stresses the both you out to no end)

-VERY early on you realized how no toddler proof jinx’s lab is, which might seem obvious but when the both of you spent 90% of your time there you forget that the treasure chest of explosive is completely in reach for toddlers

-timeskip to 2 days later you’ve finished baby proofing it (probably) after that one you both really started to realize how stressful it is to much sure your kid is safe, not even in Jinx’s lab just living in the undercity

-This leads the both of you to become very protective of them (even more than before if it’s even possible) they will NEVER be allowed in the last drops bar no matter how old they are, any new staff will be going through teens stalking someone on the internet level background checks.

-Toddler is also 100% spoiled neither you or Jinx grew up with a lot so the baby will have anything they could want (maybe your both using it as a way to heal your inner child) + with silco king pen of the undercity they have the ultimate protection and spoil-y grandpa

-jinx makes HUNDREDS of little toys and crap for them

-on the more angsty side it was a real struggle to find a way for Jinx to be around as much as she wants to be with her episodes, she is prone to be way more reactive and violent

-Another thing that the both of you noticed pretty early on thankfully, you came up with a system just a random word or phrase maybe a noise to let you know when she could feel any kind of episode coming on and when she was already in one it was pretty obvious so you could take toddler somewhere/with someone safe so you could tend to Jinx

-This of course lead to you pretty often finding Jinx crying about how she was a ‘terrible mom’ you would always hold her and tell her how it wasn’t her fault and how being parent was going to be a wildly different experience for someone with mental illness

-and of course she does the same thing for you if you ever feel like you’ve failed as a parent in some way

-Jinx she wasn’t really old enough to remember much of her bio parents and even though Vander was a good father she didn’t get to be around him for very long and Silco isn’t really the best role model for what to be as a parent and if the you didn’t have a great parent you both feel like your not prepared to be parents

-not really knowing what should really be considered right or wrong while still wanting to let your kid know they do what they need to in order to protect themselves +when the hell do you even have that talk with your 2 year old??

-Jinx also being depressed about how your kid will never know their aunt, uncles or grandma and grandpas thinking it’s her fault

-She tries to find pictures of them and is only partly successful so she draws pictures of them too

-Being a parent in general is so hard already with tantrums, getting a toddler to sleep, feeding them, entertaining them, education (is there even a proper education system in the Undercity???), making sure they feel safe and loved.

-But all that in the first place but that as first time parents living in the undercity with at least one mentally ill parent???

-In the end no matter how tired ya’ll are you both love your toddler more than anything in the world and would commit multiple war crimes for them

Silco:

When one of Silco’s men made an odd comment about you while you were in Silco’s office…he genuinely had no idea how to respond for several moments

Was this man really so stupid…so ignorant as to say something like that not only in front of you, but in front of him?

“Come here.” He said, in a cold and unwavering voice to the man

He was confused but got closer anyways

Silco moved quicker than any of you knew he could, and grabbed the man by the front of his shirt

“Tsk tsk tsk. And here I thought you showed promise.” He let go, shoving the man into the chair across from his desk

You could hear Jinx giggling above you, as she watched with anticipation

You were just…hurt

How come he picked at the one thing you were most sensitive about?

You looked at the scene in front of you, confused and anxious to see what was about to happen

It was no secret to you that Silco ran a…minorly illegal business

To say the least

But he rarely showed you just how bad it could get, so for the most part you had no idea

You were about to find out though

Silco gestured for Sevika to block the door, and it made the man antsy in his chair

He then looked up to Jinx, and nodded

She knew what to do

Silco then grabbed you as Jinx hopped down, and pressed himself against you

Your back was to his chest, and you were now sitting in his lap observing what was about to happen

The man screamed as Jinx kicked his shin hard enough to break it

She pulled out one of her guns, and started shooting across his arms and legs

The most twisted part of it all was that…he was alive. He could feel every shot into his body

Jinx giggled and put pressure on some of the wounds, as the man screamed…and screamed…and screamed

“See darling? This is what happens when someone crosses me.” He whispered into your ear

You were terrified, the display being so cruel and brutal that you were left in shock

He spoke once more, but this time to the man crying and screaming across from you

“Apologize. To them, not to me.” He smiled coldly over your shoulder, wrapping both his arms around you, keeping you locked in place

“I’M SORRY! I’M SO SORRY IT WON’T HAPPEN AGAIN, PL-”

Jinx let off one more round, straight into his torso

She giggled again, and shrugged, saying “Oops! Not good enough!” 

As the man fell to the ground, you nearly started sobbing

Silco felt this, and put a hand over your eyes, which only made you more terrified

“It’s okay…as long as you’re with me, not a single soul can bring you harm. I will punish anyone without any remorse for hurting you.” 

His breath was hot on your ear, and he chuckled. 

“You’re mine, and I’ll protect you. No matter the consequence.” 

Viktor:

You had been with Viktor a few months, and he was just…so sweet

Something in you had those alarm bells going off, but you brushed it aside as anxiety

He was always pretty protective of you, but generally much more laid back about it than some

You didn’t realize just the severity of it until today

You and him were walking, as he liked to do

Sure, his leg was real bad but he always said exercise would help eventually

He had his cane as usual, and you were both chatting away

It was peaceful…for now

A man you’d never seen before came up to you, and said something cruel about an insecurity you tried to hide all your life

The tears fell, and Viktor froze on the spot

Within seconds, Viktor went from looking at you, to the man

“That wasn’t nice…I’m going to request you apologize.” He smiled at you, and held your hand, barely paying attention to the man

“Why would I? Piss off.” The man said, and he went to walk away but Viktor spun around and slammed the cane into the back of the man’s knee

“What the-THIS ISN’T WHAT-” He was cut off when the cane struck his stomach

Viktor hit him, a good few more times before he stopped, leaving the man with at least a couple broken bones

He winced, knowing he overworked himself again

You just stared, how could he hurt someone like that?

“Ah…” He mumbled, leading you away from the scene

“I’m sorry love…When I saw you cry I just snapped.” He looked sheepish, but something in your mind screamed “RUN!” 

You ignored that feeling again

“You…care about me that much?” You wiped the tears from your eyes, and held Viktor’s free hand

“Of course I do. I would do anything for you.” And he gave you a big smile

Something about his words felt off…

You clung to his side, and he simply thought…”That was easier than I thought.” 

He had paid that man, telling him exactly what to say

Viktor knew of your deepest insecurity, and fully intended on exploiting that to get closer to you

The man he beat up wasn’t informed on the fact Viktor would beat him nearly half to death

But as soon as he left the scene, he signaled to his…”friends” to dispose of the man

Had he been more sane, he would have never used your insecurity against you

He was not, however

When he said he’d do anything for you…he may he lied a bit

There was one thing he could never do even if you wanted to

And that was leave your side

a/n: hello! :))

going to work in a organisation that was mainly filled with ability users, you knew to make yourself know and valued you had to come up with something big. you never held an ability, you never wanted one. so they way you built a reputation was with you being widely skilled with a range of arsenal. no matter what it was you had mastered it and therefore stood a fighting chance in being seen among your ability wielding coworkers.

and it worked. your skills were something majorly of others couldn't master therefore many coworkers complimented your skills. but it had also ment being entrusted with more dangerous and important missions. one's you were more than happy to take on. and hence when your next file mission began with the words 'port mafia' you knew you had done well.

it was quite simple really, your mission was to disrupt port mafia tradings and begin a slow diminishment of their supplies that then funneled into your organisation.

while it was simple it was very important and you would take pride in your job. and to no one's surprise the port mafia had found out about these advancements, but they couldn't seem to do anything about it.

you knew they would find out, it was only natural, but knowing that you had prepared for it. so everything was still in your favour. the situation had become so dire that the port mafia had resorted to sending chuuya affter you. chuuya merely scoffed at the mission but orders were orders, he would just get it over and done with in a few, no issues.

but a 'few' had turned into a few days, then a few weeks. no matter what he tried you ,and your scary amount of arsenal, always slipped his grasp giving him much frustration. you, however, were loving every second of it .

you not only had the chance to show off but you had caused significant problems for the executive and if you were being honest gave you a massive confidence boost. and eventually it got to the point where you enjoyed teasing him so much, job or not you would do it every day without fail.

chuuya was not happy with this and had declared to those around him that you were a sworn enemy of not only the port mafia but himself in particular. he could never catch you, and everytime you made him know it. you enjoyed teasing him throughly and you even started thinking of ways you could after your mission had ended.

chuuya always picked up on all the times he saw you, you would be welding a different sort of arsenal or two, which made him wonder just how much you had. and in fact it got to the part where he decided he didn't want to know at all.

your teasing had gone on for so long chuuya started forgetting when you weren't teasing him, and it seemed to not just be his inability to catch you and now it was about anything you wanted to pick at. your rivalry would last long after your mission ended. and that was for two reasons, one was that it was way to fun, especially the shocked look on his face with your new weapons, and two was that he had peeked your interest. and not that you knew, but chuuya was also intrigued by you.

please detail whether you would like your request to turn into headcannons (like dot points), a long(ish) story (i'm still struggling with writing those, sorry) or a short story. if not, my imagination will run wild i'll pick my preferred option which would probably be short story.
