hanwenzhou thought of the day: some kind of wen kexing-left-ghost-valley-behind au where wkx's philanthropist wen act is less of an act and he ends up in jinzhou somehow. he’s still not REALLY a philanthropist but given that he still hates the idea of being called daxia, this amuses him more as a cover. he ends up in jinzhou, he meets zhou zishu, zzs ends up needing wkx for some reason - maybe wkx is a way to get information that zzs needs for jinwang, or maybe there’s some other info or skill that wkx has that is valuable to zzs’s plans with tianchuang. since wkx is just one guy, no matter how skilled, zzs needs to assign him a guard. obviously, he wants to put his best agent on the job, and also the one who will be most likely to not try to twist this for personal gain. so: han ying.

hy is of course pining over zzs. wkx is pining over zzs. zzs is pushing them both away because he is trying to bury himself in work and not let himself acknowledge that he’s a human, and also it feels reassuring to know that they can protect each other at least. meanwhile, hy and wkx have a some tense moments for a while, bc wkx does NOt appreciate being assigned a babysitter, but they figure it out eventually, probably through some charged escaping an attack and maybe also through hy protecting gx even tho he doesn’t technically have to as part of his job. THIS leads to wkx and hy bonding, and that leads to them comiserating about all the pining they’re doing.

and THAT leads me to the ACTUAL point of this post which is: hy and wkx falling into bed together entirely as a proxy for how both of them want to be sleeping with zzs

Yes, i've had the idea for this one for what feels like ages, but never quite knew where to take it... then i found there's going to be a woh/tyk/shl horror zine and i thought: "that's perfect"

The style is a bit experimental for the first part, but we'll see how that turns out when im done.

I can't say too much about it tho, only show you this little excerpt - actually the only thing i had written of this idea until i decided to expand it to apply for the zine!

Jinwang is wide eyed, pale, like he's seen a ghost and he throws his prayer beads at Zhou Zishu in what looks like a knee-jerk reaction.

For a second they seem to catch at Zishu's chest, as if he has remembered they were supposed to hit his body, before they continue, unobstructed. Behind him he hears them clacking against the wall, unto the floor and when he follows with his eyes the wooden beads clatter to the ground. He expected them to scatter, maybe for the string to burst, but instead they just fall. The prayer beads dont bounce, dont roll over the hardwood. They land where they fall like a fat coin purse, like a wet sack of rice or the heavy smack of fresh viscera.

(as usual this is sky, one day i'll figure out a better way to have sideblogs or whatever) you made the mistake of saying you like my version of FMK, so that means i am coming here with a proper fuck/marry/kill for you (but if this is not fun you definitely don't have to answer!). fmk: zhao jing, jin-wang, wu chang gui

okay. so, zhao jing has to take my kill spot, both out of personal dislike and as a service to society. which leaves the beautiful choice of fucking or marrying jinwang and wuchang gui, which. boy. I don't want to fuck either of them, even if wcg has great lipstick, and a marriage to either the guy trying to overthrow the emperor or the guy trying to overthrow wkx is dangerous in itself.

but I'm reasonably sure jinwang, although he might have a miserable life post-canon, can avoid getting murdered for treason, so I don't have to go down with him as his wife. he would also likely mostly ignore me as he has dudes to be obsessed with. therefore

fuck - wuchang gui. I never interact with him again afterwards and so I'm not considered his accomplice when he tries to take over GV. also I'm sure it would be a memorable experience.

marry - jinwang. unfortunate, but maybe I get my own lux residence in the capital and have to see him only like once a month and pretend I don't know about the Atrocities.

kill - zhao jing. besides every other reason, I've seen what happens to his spouses and I'm not touching him with a ten-foot pole.

this was harrowing dhskahdsks 10/10 would recommend playing it like this

hanwenzhou thought of the day: i think, post canon, (everyone lives, they’re at siji, as we all know Definitely Happened In Canon) something should happen that makes hy reminisce fondly about zzs in his tianchuang-shouling outfit. and wkx should make an inquiring noise, and hy should realize that wkx’s never seen it, and he should decide that wkx is missing out, and they should super convince zzs to wear it for some roleplay.

but the thing is. i don’t think there’s ANY way for them to get to that point easily without it being at best uncomfortable and at worst traumatic for zzs? bc a) last time he wore it wasn’t even under his own power, it was when jinwang made him play dress up. b) if hy offers to help him get dressed up again, i think that will set off uncomfortable alarms in zzs’s head of a combo of ‘does hy only want the terrible cold version of me’ and ‘i am taking advantage of hy’ even tho both are demonstrably not true. c) if zzs dresses himself like this, i just think the headspace he gets into won’t be a fun sexy one where he’s only wearing the trappings of his former life but thinking of his current situation, i think it will be angsty and sad and bitter.

so how do they solve this? here are the options i’ve thought of

hy dresses up first: han-tongling is as much a persona as zhou-shouling was, and i think hy and wkx could have some fun with ‘what if hy had encountered wkx in an inn and was trying to get information out of him’. hy is serious and intimidating and a little cruel if needed, wkx is deftly countering everything and being extremely unintimidated - they’re feeling each other out in a dangerous quiet battle

hy does help zzs get dressed but hy wears the most siji-est outfit he can find—maybe even stolen zzs robes. he is light and gentle and playful and not particularly obedient at all, and that keeps zzs grounded, and he is also telling zzs exactly how hot he thought he was dressed like this and maybe some of his embarrassing fantasies, and that keeps zzs turned on ;)

the scenario they come up with is zhou-shouling vs wen-guzhu: zzs isn’t sure exactly why this strikes him differently but the idea that it’s not just him, and that he’s getting back into this persona to fight a wkx who is equally formidable works differently and better for him. they will actually fight, too, and they haven’t planned past that bc they don’t know how it will go. (this is, strictly speaking, not true. hy and wkx DID plan more, it’s just that it’s about how exactly hy will be introduced to the scene.)

ANYWAY pls tell me if you have other suggestions 👀

Love your fox spirit!WKX story! In your newest chapter, ZZS is worried that Minister Li is going to identify the connection between TC, four seasons manor and the Crown Prince, but WKX had previously planted evidence that would help them avoid being unmasked? Could you explain cause I'm lost 😅

In the drama ep 1, Minister Li was killed by ZZS for having incriminating evidence that tied Jinwang with Tian Chuang aka TC. Citing that TC was made to eliminate all those standing in Jinwang's way to the throne and that Jinwang aka Helian Yi was planning a coup.

In the previous chapter of ZZS's Fox Wife, WKX offered to plant evidence of the First Prince planning a coup and ZZS handed him some letters from First Prince Helian Zhao's associates to used as handwriting reference.

Using that, WKX forged letters that imply that Helian Zhao (who is a General n a martial artist) is the leader of TC and that TC is currently being used to eliminate all the outspoken ministers who are against the Crown Prince because it will paint Jinwang in a bad light and make him look guilty instead.

Now, the (forged) letters will be found by Minister Li and it was used as evidence of Helian Zhao's diabolical plans to overthrow the Emperor.

And since TC leader aka ZZS wants them to believe it, he won't assassinate Minister Li, which also cement the minister's belief that the TC leader is Helian Zhao, bcos he is on the run and therefore, can't assassinate him.
