Announcing Jingzhe: Awakening of Insects, a speedrun zine about the return of bugs in spring!

Jingzhe (惊蛰 / jīngzhé) is the third solar term in the traditional Chinese nongli calendar, literally translating to "the awakening of the hibernating insects." (It's separated into three pentads, which, combined with jingzhe and the overall topic of spring, will be the five themes of this zine.)

You can make anything you want, from art of your entomologist OC, to a poem about being a worm, to cosplay of a bug-themed character, to photography of insects and nature. We're also including digital merch, anything from wallpapers to printables. As this is a speedrun, however, you only have a little over three weeks to finalize your pieces.

This zine will be a free digital release. More information and signups will be posted tomorrow! It'll be hosted in the Ensquare Events Discord server, so you can join now and react to the corresponding role to be pinged when the infodoc and signup form is dropped.

This is a free digital speedrun zine, lasting about three weeks, based on the nongli event of Jingzhe to welcome the world's hibernating bugs into a new spring! More details can be found in the info doc, and if you have a question, feel free to ask.
