For the second battle of our top eight we have f(x)'s brilliant pun of a song. In case you didn't know, Rum Pum Pum Pum's Korean title is "First Wisdom Tooth", which in Korean sounds a lot like First Love, effectively comparing the pain one goes through during their first love to how wisdom tooth pain feels like!

In the other corner we have a song that serves both as KARA's biggest Korean hit, as well as their Japanese debut. KARA's immense success in Japan is nothing to scoff at, and the visuals they served for their debut cannot be topped. It's also worth noting that Mister was originally a b-side from their second Korean studio album, Revolution; the lead track was actually Wanna, another great bop, but fans liked Mister so much that KARA eventually switched to performing it instead and creating a sensation across all of East and Southeast Asia, all the way back in 2009, when the concept of going viral was not even a thing. Without even a music video too!

I am NOT Thank You Notes

Some disclaimers/notes!

These are the thank you notes from the photo book/liner notes of Stray Kids' I am NOT album, as best as I can translate them.

I do not speak much Korean, but I can read the alphabet and know some basic words. I took a picture of each page, scanned it via Google lens, and ran it through Google translate (and other sites as needed). After that, I cleaned up grammar and weird phrasing and sometimes had to go back and manually correct omissions or figure out where typos got mistranslated. It was kinda grueling at times ngl.

I omitted Woojin's notes, as most current Stays would probably rather it be that way, but I chose not to omit mentions of him in the others' notes. What they wrote is what they wrote.

Hyunjin's handwriting was horrific, so sometimes I truly just had to make my best guess at what he even attempted to write. If I got stuff wrong, blame him, not me.

I'm not gonna correct Felix's own English punctuation and grammar, but again, I'm leaving in his mistakes, and they are not my own 😭

Italics indicate parts that were already in English or the Roman alphabet and [brackets] indicate my own notes.

I left in most honorifics they used, including a common shortening of *seonsaengnim, ie teacher, but putting in addendums like "composer" after every composer listed got a bit tedious, so I left those out. Just assume they're being very respectful of everyone unless they're equal or younger in age lol.

You will quickly figure out that they're thanking a lot of the same people, but you get some quirks too, including some familiar names of other JYPE artists!

Reveal Of LL E&M Trainees Sends Shockwaves Through The Internet- Who's The Prettiest?

It is very common for companies to reveal and even promote their trainees. When it is done, the trainees rarely ever cause a stir like LL E&M's "LLRookies" did. The biggest reason? Two of them are very familiar.

The first familiar face most Netisims immediately recognized was Myeong Gaeun of Ki-Ti's sister, Myeong Jieun. The people disappointed that she wasn't apart of PZSN's final lineup were quickly assured by her inclusion in LLRookies. Netisims excitedly pointed out the trait she and her sister have in common- beauty. They more excitedly pointed out the more innocent edge to Jieun.

It took the internet a while, but they finally deduced why the trainee named "Hwang Dayeon" looked so familiar. In a shocking turn of events, two of the former A.B.D members have reemerged around the same time. Commonly known as "D" and the maknae of A.B.D, Dayeon hasn't changed much. Other than the fact that according to Netisims, her beauty has grown immensely as she blossomed into a young woman (julie note: I hated writing that).
