Anyway, this is it!] 🌲 Blu Christmas Holiday Movie Asplosion 2022! ⛄ Chapter 51: It's a Wonderful Life 🦌 And here we are again, at the end of the marathon, with the best holiday film of all time (in my opinion). Surprising no one yet again, the top place goes to Frank Capra's "It's a Wonderful Life". Initially not very successful in theaters or reviews (though appreciated by the critics who did recognize, and nominated for multiple Oscars), it was only decades later it became recognized widely as the classic it is, even as one of the best of all time, according to many. I already knew the amazing restoration and 4K looked great, but wow can I really appreciate it on the setup I have now. Aside from some of the hokey angels/heaven effects (and writing) at the beginning, it is truly one of the masterpieces of filmmaking. So that's that! Happy Holidays! Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! Two months later Mr. Stewart was drafted and assigned to the Army Air Corps. On June 10 of that same year, Ms. Lamarr submitted a patent for “Radio Frequency Hopping” a system upon which all modern communication is based.

So when I finally did move to NYC at 18 years old, I sought out the jazz clubs, the calypso bands, the burlesque shows. Cajun was a favorite haunt on 16th and 8th Ave. Yaffa Cafe was bursting with bohemian spirit. The Slipper Room became a sanctuary of strange.

This week, we got to celebrate Grimoire Girl in our very own Zodiac Club…. @canaryclubnyc . I feel so lucky that I found my people - a dreamy mix of artists and creatives who are also perfectly debaucherous! Music from @msnow_music . Candy from @samuelssweetshop . Spirits from @mflibations . Childhood friends and coworkers and coven mates…..

My Bell, Book and Candle dreams came to fruition. 🔮 Thank you to all of you guys!
