Can we talk about how when Timmy becomes old enough to forget his fairies he's also going to forget Jimmy, and because Jimmy doesn't know or get that Timmy has fairies that he might just show up in Dimmsdale one day and Timmy has no fucking clue who he is. Alternatively, what if Timmy starts pushing him away at a certain age after realizing that he's probably going to forget everything about Retroville and forces them apart so that Jimmy doesn't have to feel that pain?

Honestly it's kinda crazy how Timmy is literally just an average kid that NO ONE understands, and Jimmy is someone who shoots for the stars, buys candy bars and is a kid with a knack for invention. A softly weighted stiver atom necklace laid on his chest realizing how special that nerd is to him, how his chest flutters at simple things, how bright his smile is when he gets a experiment right on the first try, just how Trusting Jimmy is around Timmy and almost always overly caring in his own little way.

/ Four times Timmy deals with Jimmy being overworked/Tired Jimmy (helping and annoying him) and the one time Jimmy surprises him. /

Jimmy reached out and hovered his fingers over the side of his jaw for a moment, his heart hammering in his chest. Sucking in a breath, he touched his face as carefully as he could, as if afraid he would break from his touch. When Timmy didn’t respond to his gentle prodding, he caressed the side of his face gently, thumbing over his cheek. He did indeed feel as soft as he looked, Jimmy noted to himself. As he was about to pull his hand away, Timmy nuzzled and pressed his face into his hand before letting out a loud, satisfied sigh. The silly notion made Jimmy smile and his heart melted.

“Of all the people in the universe, it had to be you.”

Summary:  What was meant to be a celebratory night turns into much more.
