Little!Momo Hcs

hi!! I haven’t posted much of anything in quite a minute so I thought i’d share some thoughts about little momo from this au I have (still working it out) :)

Momo is one of the members who regresses fairly often, she’s only usually big when she’s able to suppress it for times when she’s working but even then she happens to slip sometimes during schedules and has to be brought back to the dorm

She slips between ages but its only ever between 1-5 and she’s more frequently 2-4

Momo is autistic and also nonverbal when regressed

The girls have learned that when she regresses she doesn’t really understand korean very well, so if mina or sana aren’t around it gets difficult to communicate with momo albeit they try their hardest with the little bits of japanese they do know

This causes a lot of miscommunication tho because momo will get frustrated and upset that no one can understand her and vice versa :(

Mina takes care of her the most and is her primary caregiver among the girls, but everyone helps out a lot

Since momo doesn’t communicate verbally, mina got her a bear themed notepad (she loves bears) to write words or draw pictures to help them understand what she wants

They always make sure its nearby with one of those crayola orange markers bc its the only color she’ll write in (they bulk bought 100)

They also have communication cards that chaeyoung drew and had sana write with momo in both japanese and korean so it helps the other members as well

She’s a clingy baby :( she likes to play but other times she will cry a lot until someone picks her up and holds her, and will get really fussy when she’s put down again so she’s always kept very close to someone else

Jeongyeon got her a special weighted blanket that is only about 2 lbs and when she’s feeling very overwhelmed they wrap it around her and it calms her down a lot

Momo doesn’t like sitting on the couch or chairs bc she gets scared of being high off the ground without someone holding her, so they have a special area decked out on the living room floor with soft cushions and pillows, and the girls will sit with her there instead

Bedtime for momo is rough as she deals with a lot of nightmares, and after going through a handful of really terrible long sleepless nights they decided she’s not allowed to sleep on her own anymore

Mina sleeps with her most nights and momo is a lot more fussy when mina is busy or overseas for work but she doesn’t mind sleeping with any of the other girls as long as they make sure to stick to her routine as closely as possible

If she is going to bed with one of the other girls they have to facetime mina until she falls asleep otherwise she wont sleep

When she still has a really hard time during the night, they’ll wrap her up in her blanket and bring her out to her area in the living room and sleep with her there

She’s not extremely picky with food but she’s very specific about what she eats for breakfast in the morning because she wont eat anything else besides dry cereal and a bottle of slightly watered down orange juice

Her favorite member to have take care of her besides mina is jihyo :]

Jihyo even started taking extra japanese language classes to help her communicate with momo better

One of her favorite things is when jihyo holds her while singing songs from a playlist they made for her

Also when sana and nayeon play or stim with her, it makes her feel less nervous about doing it alone

She really likes animals. Even if sometimes the girl’s pets become overstimulating she loves seeing them and playing with them its really cute

Since momo is constantly on the floor they need to clean the dorm twice a day bc she’ll get sick if they don’t… the cleaning stuff scares her tho so they have to give her headphones and take her into an empty (already cleaned) room :(

first and foremost sana is a cuddle bug - if she could, she would be cuddling with the members 24/7

she usually regress anywhere from 3-7 but mostly 5-7

sana is very proud of herself because she can potty by herself

momo and jihyo are her main caregivers and she absolutely adores nayeon whenever momohyo aren’t around because nayeon will just sit and listen to her talk for hours

even if her mamas saw her five minutes ago, they have to say hello to her if they leave the room and come back in (bonus points for mohyo if they call her love bug)

her love language is physical touch! she thrives off of touching and holding hands

depriving herself of physical touch is also a way that she punishes herself :(

even if she hasn't done anything wrong, she won't let anyone touch her - holding hands is even off limits

it takes a lot of encouragement and love to let sana know that she hasn't done anything wrong for her to let someone touch her or for her to touch someone else

she starts really slowly by sitting very close to whoever she thinks is upset with her and then carefully easing into holding a finger and then eventually a hand

it doesn't matter if she can't fit on jihyo or momo's lap. if there's space, she will find some way to fit and curl herself into them

her favorite foods are tteokbokki, takis, and yogurt (raspberry yogurt is her favorite)

whenever she goes on walks with her mamas, she gets happy hands and stims if she sees a dog

she has a really hard time paying attention if she can't move so her mamas and the members try to hold her hands and move them or rock her so she can focus better

she talks a lot so it's a bit difficult to watch tv and movies with her - but, if she has a toy to play with or something to stim with, she'll be focused for at least half of a show or movie (breaks in between are a must so she can walk around or play a game to let some energy out)

she loves playing tag and it's one of the easiest ways to tire her out if they need to be in the car or on a plane for a long time

even though sana doesn't like playing video games, she loves watching mina play them - it keeps her entertained and she can talk to mina wihout mina actually having to listen

if she's upset at her mamas, she'll still ask for them to hold her but she refuses to give them kisses until they talk about what made her upset

getting what she wants is kind of sana's thing. all she has to do is look at momo with her honey brown eyes and she folds - momo would give sana the world if she could

if she’s in a very good mood, she’s extra giggly and will keep saying hi to the members. she really likes saying hi to nayeon. she goes “hi, nae nae” and then giggles after each time

she has a hard time with dance practice and momo usually has to take extra time to guide her through the steps, but momo doesn't mind since she gets to spend extra time with her love bug

sana is one of the happiest littles. she's always bouncing around and clinging to her members, but they absolutely adore her and love doting on her

jeongyeon tends to cook more but she always asks momo what she wants to eat first. she’s used to cooking them entirely separate meals, and doesn’t mind it. she’s willing to put in the extra work for her girl, always

she does her best to try and open up momo to different foods. before they got together, momo really disliked tomatoes, but, jeongyeon’s gotten her to eaten them cooked. she still hates raw tomatoes, but now she’ll eat them cooked in stews and other stuff. jeongyeon isn’t insistent on her eating things she hates and wouldn’t ever be, she’s just concerned abt her nutrition 😭 which is why she started making her at least eat protein bars

one of momo’s biggest special interests is japanese law, hence why she became a paralegal. when she was younger she would go through entire law books and memorize them. she basically has a photographic memory

momo’s main form of stimming is vestibular stims. she’s moving constantly- rocking back and forth, flapping her hands around, pacing around. it’s hard for her to stay in one place

and bc of this, she loves dancing. she doesn’t mind loud music, in fact, she sort of prefers it to be loud. which is why she still likes going clubbing. but she does wear earplugs now, lmao

momo is an artificial light HATER! all of the lighting in their apartment that they bought either isn’t too bright or has settings to keep it low

jeongyeon works for a cyber security company. she could’ve very easily stayed in korea for the job but, for so many reasons, she wanted to get out. she didn’t get hired until after she got to japan though, but they rlly needed someone who spoke the language for that position; it just worked out perfectly lmao

they speak to each other in japanese. jeongyeon was already pretty fluent when she moved, and it was an excuse for momo to fully pick up korean (which wasn’t too hard for her given that she can memorize things easily). but since everything around them is in japanese, it’s just a bit more natural for them to speak it

jeongyeon is still close to nayeon, jihyo, dahyun, chaeyoung and tzuyu (who is dating cy) even if they live back in korea. momo really likes them, she often talks to jihyo on the phone when she calls jeongyeon. this has also helped momo with her korean pronunciation, lmao

since jeongyeon knows ksl, she taught momo a few basic phrases for when she’s completely nonverbal but they still need to communicate. things such as their names, “hug”, “bathroom”, “hungry”, “bed”, “tired”, yes and no, etc. it helps them a lot, and doesn’t force momo to try and speak when she just can’t. jeongyeon would never do that to her lmao

jeongyeon really loves legos. her room was riddled with them back before they moved. and after they moved, much like momo’s barbie display, they got her a shelf to put them all up, too. she is running out of room for them 😭

jeongyeon’s a little forgetful, so momo’s usually the one who keeps tab of all the important dates. they nearly missed a flight to korea because jeongyeon got the dates mixed up. they argued about it on the plane, lmao

they don’t really argue much though! momo can just get frustrated easily due to things like sensory overload. she really needs everything planned out. if she’s breaking her routine, it upsets her- so having things planned in advance is the best way to get around that. jeongyeon tries her best lmao

Tzuyu slipped into Toddler Space during the flight while she was watching Hotel Transylvania 2. She in a 4 year old mindset. She ate the kids meal with a cup of cold apple juice, the perfect meal for the moment. The 2 hour flight felt quicker than expected, Tzuyu slept after the lunch all the way from Taipei to Seoul.

When she woke up during the landing with a pressure in her ear, she whined covering up her ears with her hands, small tears rolled down her face, but she finally was where she would live happily.

Jihyo was rushing to Tzuyu's gate, she thought that she was late but, there was no one there coming out, just a bunch of people wating in front of the gate.

Tzuyu got her dark blue backpack and her things, forgetting to pick her beige bunny that was placed on the seat. She went out of the plane without realizing the bunny wasn't with her, her mind was focused in looking for her Mama!

As soon as she saw the short haired woman. Jihyo showed that big motherly smile and opened her arms to catch her Baby in a bear hug. Tzuyu ran to her.

They went to get Tzuyu's Yoda suitcase. And finally they went home.

"What's wrong with Bunny Baby?" Jihyo was still unaware of the situation.

"No' f-find Bun..." The youngest was so red she could pass out any moment, Jihyo rushed to the living room.

"Tzu Tzu, it's Okay...Mommy will find Bunny, but first she need you to breath slowly" Jihyo started to calm down the crying Baby, Tzuyu tried her best to breath slowly as her Mama was asking her to.

Jihyo got the little's bottle and gave to her trying to make her sleep, so she could think of an situation. Tzuyu slept after 30 minutes of denial.

Jihyo laid the girl in a fluffy mattress on the living room and went to the kitchen offer making sure the Baby would not wake up. Jihyo made some mint tea and started to think hard.

Jihyo freaked out. She knew what Bunny Tzuyu was taking about, it was the Bunny her grandmother gave her before she passed, she know how much that Bunny makes Tzu feel closer to her Nanny, and what it means to her. But she hasn't seen that Bunny since their last call before Tzuyu got to Korea, so there was only one place that Bunny could be...at the airport.

Jihyo ran to change up her clothes, but did diferent with Tzuyu, it was really cold tonight, so she just put the clothes on over the little one's pajamas.

Jihyo picked Tzuyu up, went to the car running and started driving to the airport. Tzuyu was sleeping peacefully with her paci in the back seat. The Korean woman got at the airport, took Tzuyu's stroller off the car, got Tzuyu on the stroller and went to the lost and found section were security was.

"Hi, I am sorry to bother you guys right now, but my girlfriend forgot her bunny in the plane earlier"

Fem. Officer 1: "What does the bunny looks like?"

"It's an Beige Bunny with a light pink nose" Jihyo said hopeful as one of the female officers went into the lost and found room.

Fem. Officer 2: "Is it this one?"

The woman got out with the Bunny, Jihyo just knew that because in the left feet there was Tzuyu's name written in chinese.

"Yes! This is it! Thank you, have a wonderful night you two" Jihyo got the bunny and went back to the car after giving Tzu the bunny for her to hold.

Tzuyu seemed to calm down as soon as she smelled the bunny's scent. They went back home, Jihyo dress her pajamas up again, and took of Tzuyu's clothes revealing the Yoda pajamas again.

The night went smooth after the bunny was found. Jihyo was relieved she found the stuffed animal that hour at night. And that was just the first time she took care of Tzuyu, but she already knew that it would be the perfect adventure for her life.

little autistic!jihyo can be very loud because she has a little trouble regulating her voice

her mamas have come up with a system that works at home and whenever they're in public if she's being a little too loud. they'll gently tap her arm twice so hyo knows to lower her voice a little bit

hyo usually does well with this system and listens to her mamas talk for a second before trying her best to match the volume of their voices

this system is especially important in the dorm or backstage whenever the members are asleep, but hyo has a lot of energy and wants to talk about her special interests

as mentioned in the little blurb about little autistic!jihyo, she absolutely hates pants. the texture and the material of most pants and even many shorts tend to overstimulate her

hyo has two pairs of sweatpants, one pink and one gray, that she can wear if she absolutely has to wear pants. she also has a pair of soft yellow shorts

her mamas have only been able to find one pair of jeans that she's willing to wear, so they have six pairs of the same type of jeans

skirts are a big no in hyo's book since they're always too tight around her waist and the material is always too itchy

dresses are about the same as pants. if she doesn't have to wear them, she won't. if she does have to wear them, then they have to be a light and soft material

little autistic!jihyo loves loves loves watching golf and talking about golf

to the other members, golf is one of the most boring sports on earth, but it's one of hyo's special interests and she could watch it for hours on end if her mamas let her

whenever hyo gets to actually play golf, she gets super excited. she has to wear ear plugs usually since the sound of the golf clubs hitting the balls is too loud as well as the golf carts driving around, but it's one of her favorite things to do

golf is also a quieter sport so it's much easier for hyo to enjoy and actually have fun playing

hyo doesn't like reading novels or books because she loses focus if there are no pictures to look at, so she reads webtoons

she even stayed up one night reading webtoons and even though she got through a quite few of them, her mamas didn't let her do it again because she was in an awful mood for the rest of the day

if hyo wakes up very overstimulated, those are usually her non-verbal days

her mamas and the members know to always have a pad of paper and a pen with them in case they can't tell right away what she's trying to tell them

on days like this if hyo gets really excited or even more overwhelmed and overstimulated, she'll scream

over time, her mamas have learned to tell the difference between a happy and excited hyo scream from an overstimulated and close to a meltdown hyo scream

her happy and excited screams can be pretty loud, but they eventually turn into a fit of giggles that make it worth it to listen to her screaming for a few seconds

hyo's favorite way to stim is with her weighted stuffed unicorn. she'll either bite or suck on the horn of the unicorn and squish its feet to relax herself

if hyo wants to put the unicorn on her face or her chest, her mamas know that she's understimulated and needs her weighted blanket as well as her unicorn

we all know about adhd sana. she's very hyper, very cute, and very talkative. she has hyperactive adhd!

whether big or little, she is talkative and always wants to play with one of her members and usually the only one who can keep up (most of the time) is jihyo since they're both big extroverts

whether little or big sana punishes herself if she thinks she's done something bad by depriving herself of touch :( she love hugs, cuddles, and kisses and it's absolutely heartbreaking when she won't let her members touch her

sana will talk for hours if her members will sit. they don't even have to listen and she'll talk about whatever is on her mind

whenever she's having an extra hard day, especially at practice, she needs much more support to guide her through the steps and moves and momo is the best at this

the best way to get and keep sana's attention is for one of her members to hold her hand and either move it in theirs or draw patterns because it keeps her occupied and regulates her body a little while they're trying to talk to her

nd!jihyo

jihyo is autistic and for the most part is verbal. there are times though where she's non-verbal and she only communicates with the other members through pen and paper they all always carry around

jihyo is very sensitive to sudden touch. she loves touch but if it's unexpected, it can very quickly lead to a meltdown if not immediately addressed

she can be really picky with the foods she eats and hyperfixates on certain foods. for a week she'll only eat scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and the next week it'll be kimbap and some kind of soup

she absolutely hates being cold. she can deal with being hot but the second she even feels a slight breeze she will be wrapped in at least 10 layers

the person who is best able to help her during her meltdowns is mina. mina is the most calm out of all the girls and knows exactly when and how she wants to be held as well as when and what to give her to eat. she knows where jihyo keeps her stim toys and her weighted unicorn stuffy

her special interests are learning about different drinks, (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) golf, and webtoons (she reads them like it's her religion)

nd!mina (1)

mina has very bad social anxiety and it's really hard for her not to be with the other members

if she's alone, mina has to have some kind of background noise. she's so used to being with the girls that noise is a must

airports are the bane of her existence and she usually only feels safe when she's with at least one other member or in the center of them so she can feel them

she loves just sitting with the girls when they're talking and doing things because she knows there's no pressure for her to join in on the conversation if she doesn't feel like it

her favorite thing to do if she feels like she's going to have a panic attack is to bury herself under all the blankets she has. this is the only time she wants and needs peace and quiet. it lets her body reset

she has a very small social battery. she really does like hanging out with the members and traveling, but there's only so much she can handle before she has to be back in her room to recharge for a bit
