As much as I would like to say that Jieun was not a part of the bareness that is the puppyz dorm, she put off decorating her room for the longest time because she couldn’t decide on a theme and quite literally lived in a prison for a year.

before:

Her room was incredibly bare. The one decoration she had was a single navy blue jellycat plush on her bed that Mingi got her for her birthday in 2023.

The only pop of colour in her room came from her keyboard but otherwise there was no decoration at all.

She used the upright monitor as her second monitor when streaming video games and the main monitor was a hand-me-down from Yunho.

While at Ikea Jieun got inspired by one of the showrooms so she decided to get fake leaves for her own room. The fairy lights were Yeosang’s idea, and she kept up with the mostly white theme because it looked nice.

The polaroids on the wall are a bunch of photos of her and the other members that she had stashed away in a box.

She also finally upgraded her gaming setup a bit, including a new chair because her old chair was actually falling apart. Her new monitor has better graphics and she got a mousepad that fit her whole desk since her old one was a bit worn out.

small break my ass she kept her natural hair all the way until the end of 2023

every new comeback atinys were making bets if this would be the era when jieun changed her hair

they were glad to see her hair being taken care of though

at some point we got a live of jieun teaching atinys how to cut their own bangs

atinys had been begging for pink jieun back since say my name

this was actually the era when she revealed that she hated her debut hairstyle so people stopped asking for the pink hair back LMAO

jieun was actually a fan of this colour though. it wasn’t too bright but still had a bit of colour to keep things interesting 

san said her hair matched the album cover 💀

but also they also worried for her scalp to the point where she commented on it during a live😭

“my hair is actually surprisingly pretty healthy for being bleached. i just use a lot of hair masks and hair oils to keep it soft.”

hair through the eras – part one

treasure ep.1: all to zero

jieun didn’t actually like the pink hair on herself but it’s what the stylists wanted so she just went with it

she didn’t tell anybody this though, only admitting it in 2023 during crazy form era

a lot of fans liked it though and she thought that’s all that mattered 

treasure ep.2: zero to one

jieun liked this hair a lot better than debut era (she just prefers more natural colours in general)

sadly we didn’t get much content since jieun was on hiatus for most of zero to one promotions :(

but we did get a very funny moment of jieun accidentally whipping wooyoung in the face with her hair in one stage because the stylists made the mistake of putting her hair up into a high ponytail 😭

treasure ep.3: one to all

atinytwt was shocked when the teasers revealed that jieun had cut her hair short

she really liked the short hair for the summer because it was a lot easier to manage

her hairstyles were so cute :( she wore it half-up with space buns a lot and stylists would sometimes put small clips in her hair too 

treasure ep.fin: all to action

jieun was iffy about this hairstyle at first, but the boys thought she looked really cool and it gave her a lot of confidence 

she also liked the short hair again because it was easier to manage and dance with (wooyoung is cheering)

she actually went viral during mama 2019 for her visuals during her intro!  

so it’s safe to say that the boys were very right in hyping her up with her hairstyle

treasure epilogue: action to answer

answer was truly her era

she would’ve been fine with staying blonde for this era but had no complaints with going back to black

it was the first time she’d had her natural hair colour since predebut and she missed it ngl 

we also got jieun forehead!! up until this point she’d always had bangs so it was cool to see her style change up a little bit

zero : fever part.1

her hair was still growing out during this era but she went with a lighter brown instead of fully changing it up 

also the bangs were back LMAO

they got styled out of her face a lot though, especially with all the headbands she wore

she wore extensions a lot during this era

her extensions actually fell off during one stage and you can see wooyoung cackling in the background as he picks them up and throws them off-stage

she actually preferred having longer hair this era because it was a bit easier for stylists to put her in tighter hairstyles (with how much moving is in fireworks she needed the security)

zero : fever part.3

she still isn’t a big fan of bright/unnatural hair colours on herself so it took some time to grow on her

she kept the purple throughout all the deja vu promotions and then dyed it brown for eternal sunshine

the brown hair from eternal sunshine promotions carried over

but it was even better because curly haired jieun was truly the moment

she actually had stantwt going feral over her teaser photos 😭

she was originally supposed to go blonde this era but her stylist recommended keeping the brown to give her scalp a small break
