CASTING CALL 013 ( ADDITIONAL INFORMATION )

as mentioned in fabula mission 007, type zero mission 009, and acting mission 014, here are the details about the role requirements. since this is a new system we’re implementing for this specific project ( the banana division ), it is subject to change over time.

MAIN ROLE

INFO: considered the core of the project, they are heavily featured and present in every episode when it comes to the series. success of a project mostly relies on them. once a muse has taken a main character’s role, it’s difficult for them to take on another project that requires more than a day in their week during the active part of the project. 

previously had a LEAD or MAIN role in any of the previous dramas ( cram school 1 & 2, kim family, the truth untold, bullet inquiry ).

have at least +300 ACTING and +130 VARIETY.

IF CHOSEN AS THE MAIN ROLE and the muse is qualified to do the notoriety tiers ( as in they’ve already redeemed their 200 notoriety reward and the schedule is already made in canon ), they will be skipping out on doing NOTORIETY TIERS for 2 NT cycles ( ex. skipping out on august and october ).

LEAD ROLE

INFO: they appear in most episodes of a series and generally get a good amount of screen time. their actions and presence greatly impact the main plot and characters. they can be a key to a project’s success. once a muse has taken a lead character’s role, it’s difficult for them to take on another project that requires more than two days in their week during the active part of the project. 

previously had a SUPPORTING, LEAD, or MAIN role in any of the previous dramas ( cram school 1 & 2, kim family, the truth untold, bullet inquiry )

Have at least +250 ACTING and +100 VARIETY.

IF CHOSEN AS THE LEAD ROLE and the muse is qualified to do the notoriety tiers ( as in they’ve already redeemed their 200 notoriety reward and the schedule is already made in canon ), they will be skipping out on doing NOTORIETY TIERS for 2 NT cycles ( ex. skipping out on august and october ).

SUPPORTING ROLE

INFO: they appear in less than half of the series and get some screen time. their actions and presence do not impact much of the main plot and characters; however, bad acting from a support character may draw criticism to the project. a muse playing a support character can juggle other projects during the active period, even if their schedule will likely be very packed. 

must be in the acting path currently. for this term, the exception to this rule is if they were invited to audition for this show ( DOWOON, EUNHO, JIAE, AREUM ) and meet the point requirements for the role.

have at least +150 ACTING and +50 VARIETY.

IF CHOSEN AS THE SUPPORTING ROLE and the muse is qualified to do the notoriety ( as in they’ve already redeemed their 200 notoriety reward and the schedule is already made in canon ), they will be skipping out on doing NOTORIETY TIERS for 1 NT cycle IF they have claimed an acting gig ( supporting, lead, main; no matter if it’s drama/movie/musical ) OR any high level gig ( no matter the category ) within the last 3 months.

GUEST ROLE (CAMEO)

INFO: they appear in a single episode of a series and get little screen time. their actions and presence have no impact on the plot and main characters. this is considered a single gig and causes no schedule conflict. 

at the moment this is only available to people in the acting path and any other groups where this invitation has been extended to them. no experience needed for this specific role.

have at least +50 ACTING and +25 VARIETY.

no restrictions on the NOTORIETY TIERS if the muse is qualified for that.

Merlin’s sister. She moved to Korea basically as soon as her senior year of high school ended and lived with Merlin for two years.

Initially debuted as a soloist, but realized she didn’t like it that much. She asked the company if she could debut in a group and they said yes. She initially wanted her stage name to be her English name Athena, but she didn’t like how it sounded in Korean, so she decided to go with her Korean name.

Jihye doesn’t get sick too often, but when she does, she becomes extremely emotional. She’s already fairly emotional (She cries at the song Silent Night), but it’s even worse when she’s sick. Doesn’t matter if it’s a cold, a stomach bug, or flu, not feeling well ramps up her emotions to a twenty. She’s very into skinship and will basically be hanging off whichever dongsaeng will tolerate it.

Her sneezes are tiny but powerful. She’s always bent at the waist when she sneezes and if she’s standing up, she’s sometimes propelled forward. She has a mild pollen allergy.

She never fully got the hang of honorifics and calls all the members unnie, except for Joey (American customs of not having honorifics won out on that one)

Even though she’s two and a half years younger than Merlin, she’s the spitting image of him. If she were to cut her hair to the length of Merlin’s, they would essentially look like identical twins.

Joey Jung (JJ)

Joey is from America. Their legal name is Joanne, but prefer to go by Joey or JJ. They just recently moved to Korea, but spoke Korean at home, so they’re proficient conversationally, but still working on learning korean. They like to make jokes about only being five and a half years old, but that’s just because they’re a leap year baby.

Joey is an extremely stubborn sickie. They are very independent and even if they’re too dizzy to stand, they’ll insist they’re fine to go to work or that they don’t need anyone to stay behind to help them.

Joey also has fairly tiny sneezes. At one point they trained themself to say pikachu when they sneeze. So they come out as “Pika-tiew” They don’t have any allergies, but they are a photic sneezer, so they sneeze at least once per day

Haneul takes being the leader of the group very seriously. Unfortunately, this sometimes translates into overworking herself. There have been a few times where the others have found her sleeping at the dining room table. Haneul doesn’t get sick very often, but when she does, it hits hard. She always winds up with a fever, even if it’s a minor cold. Her sneezes are relatively loud in volume, she’s also terrible at covering and at most turns her head away. She doesn’t have any allergies that she’s aware of, but she does have a fairly sensitive nose. This occasionally causes problems when she’s getting her makeup done.

Daeun is a very sneezy person. She’s allergic to pollen, animal fur, and dust. She’s also sensitive to strong scents. She carries at least 3 travel packs of tissues on her at all times. Daeun gets sick a decent amount, but she frequently confuses being sick with allergies. As such she’s going to assume it’s allergies unless she’s got a fever or it’s the middle of winter. She is the least prone to catching a stomach bug and the most willing to try random food combinations no matter how gross they sound.

FABULA MISSION 005

SCHEDULE TYPE: TRIMESTER ( PART 1 OUT OF 2 ) SCHEDULE RESTRICTIONS: cannot be paired with another trimester schedule, unless stated otherwise. for reference as to whether your muse is eligible for this event, please click over HERE.

as the year end ceremonies slowly conclude, EUNSOOK takes the chance to call all of the FABULA members to a meeting. but when all of them are gathered together, they are met with some surprises.

NEW MEMBER

“some of you may be familiar with her, but this is JUNG JIAE. she was a part of the debut bootcamp that legacy formed recently and she will be joining as the newest member of FABULA. please treat her well.” EUNSOOK turned towards JIAE and gives the younger individual a chance to express her greetings and thoughts towards the FABULA members. “because some of the girls will be busy with their own schedules, the rest of you should help JIAE adjust to the new lifestyle and teach her all of the songs and choreographies associated with FABULA, especially you, EUNHYE and YEJIN.” EUNSOOK stated out loud, looking at the other five members as a reminder to help each other while they can before their schedules would get busier.

starting from today and onwards, JIAE will be packing up her belongings and moving to the new FABULA dorms ( yes, new! ) EUNSOOK will be telling the girls that due to their rising success and the awards they’ve received in the year end ceremonies, legacy has given them bigger dorm rooms ( 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a shared living room and kitchen, and a walk-in closet ).

the room arrangements are as follows:

since the announcement was made privately, JIAE will not be making her official appearance as a member of FABULA until APRIL. this means that JIAE will not be eligible to do OPEN EVENT 006 ( FANSITES ) until the next trimester ( when more details regarding JIAE’s debut will be disclosed ) and will still be a part of the LGCENT instagram account for the time being. when JIAE debuts officially, all of her monthly sns posts after that will be under the FABULA instagram account.

BULLET INQUIRY UPDATE

EUNSOOK looks down at her list, which contained the group’s schedule for the next few months. “we’ve been told that ARIN, HAYOUNG, and MINJI have been selected to be a part of the upcoming drama, ‘bullet inquiry’. because of this, all of you will be scheduled during FEBRUARY to film your cameo scenes. i will be the one escorting you to the drama set while my assistant managers will take care of EUNHYE, JIAE, and YEJIN.” she paused as she contemplated whether to confess the reason why she was insisting that she would be the one driving them to the drama set. after quickly weighing the pros and cons in her head, she admitted quietly, “i’ve been meaning to talk to someone who might be on set, but let’s keep that a secret among all of us, okay?”

FABULA will also be singing one of the OSTs for the drama so more information about that along with the guest appearance can be found in the BULLET INQUIRY post, which will be posted next SUNDAY ( JANUARY 22 ).

FABULA’S FUTURE

“after meeting up with the higher-ups, i’ve heard that the other groups are busy with their own comebacks and projects. this means that we won’t have as much to do for the next few months, but they’ve brought up something that is worth discussing with all of you. while some of other groups have been given solo gigs separate from legacy’s projects, we felt that FABULA was special in that at the very beginning, people knew all of you as a group — many of the fans joined at similar times and preferred supporting all of you as a whole. but as more and more of you gradually take on different gigs and the group becomes popular, the more we thought about your future both individually and as a group. you could say that you are legacy’s underdogs of this generation and if we play our cards right, we might make this a great year for fabula.” one could tell the immense pride that EUNSOOK had towards them with her smile. “so over the course of the week, all of you except JIAE will be having a meeting with me. through this meeting, we’ll be discussing what the marketing team has discovered about your public image, individual marketability, and what kind of gigs are you interested in partaking in the future. while we do have a vague idea of what some of our members want to do…” EUNSOOK paused to eye at EUNHYE, ARIN, and HAYOUNG as her way of subtly referencing them. “we do want to know what the rest of you want to do in the near future if companies and brands want to offer individual gigs to you. my advice is that starting from now until the end of the week, take this time to think a bit about your future. legacy knows how they want you to evolve as a group, but we’re giving you this chance to give your own input. it’s something we don’t typically give to the idols especially this early on, but we trust all of you so don’t mess this up.”

turning her head towards JIAE, EUNSOOK added, “and we know that this is quite a lot for you to grasp so your meeting with me will actually be at a different time because we have schedules planned for you in the upcoming months. but for now, my assistant managers and i will help you adjust to this new change so that when your official debut comes, you will be ready than ever for that moment.”

all of the FABULA members except JIAE will be sent a submit from the main. the submit contains details for this, but if you want to earn additional points follow the instructions listed on there. due to the team having a lot to do, expect this submit to be sent sometime this week!

TIME TO FABULA ( SEASON 2 )

“people enjoyed the first season of ‘TIME TO FABULA!’ that it was highly requested to have a second season, so i’m here to announce that we will be having that. however, with our schedules we will be filming most of this around MARCH. the episodes for this will be aired sometime around APRIL or MAY, so everyone will participate including JIAE. at the moment, there are some details that the staff will have to work on but as long as none of you are scheduled to travel overseas, we should be fine.” EUNSOOK revealed lightheartedly, hoping that everyone would be ready to film another season of their variety show.

A POSSIBLE COMEBACK?

it’s not known at the moment in the lgc verse that there is a comeback in the works for FABULA, but starting around FEBRUARY, rumors about their comeback begins to circulate as people wonder if they will have a comeback with some of the lgc groups having one and spoiler alert, their comeback will be slated for Q2 2023.
