Revision: So the lyrics in the official yt video was surprisingly very different from the ones @doolset provided, who has become my goto for BTS lyrics translations.

Initially with just the yt subs, I thought that Jk was telling Jhope to 'melt his cold self', to loosen up or something along those lines. But with a subject 'me' in the line, I think it's much clearer and straightforward as to what Jk was really saying. In addition, his explanation also made sense. Please support me bro.

Regarding this last quote, I'm not sure of what Jhope meant exactly as the sea or ocean seems to have a special secret meaning to BTS. They've mentioned the sea many times in their songs in various contexts and different members have said to each other 'let's go to the sea together'. I'm guessing that the sea/ocean here means hopes and dreams for them, and going together means they'll keep moving forward together as a team, making music and achieving career goals no matter what happens. A very broad guess I know. All I know is Jhope's words reassured Jin.

So that's it. My interpretation of their cryptical conversation sparked during the BE album unboxing.

Not gonna lie. JHOPE is on some legend shit. He does music for him regardless the trends but rather sets new ones without having that in mind. I can already tell his stuff is going to age like fine wine. Truly amazing and close to the heart artistry from Jhope. No words needed just an applause, I am nothing but proud of this man finding his groove and sound through the years. Undoubtedly the one with the most growth and development through the years from the rap line.

As for the rest Yoongi to me can kill you with just his lyrics and a piano just like first love from the Wings album.

And for rm, I am going to be honest, I don’t feel like he is that much interested in rap, in the particular lifestyle or general artistry when it comes to him having to give life to new things and ideas, but on the other hand he must have been juiced till his last drop to keep on coming with songs and ideas leading him to be fed up, which is clearly reflected on his cafe,lounge,library type of background music.

That’s how I see and differentiate them in my mind. If you could just take a minute I would love to hear your two cents on how you perceive them musically and as artists individually.Thank you for listening to me!

Jhope: Since the first mixtape Hope World. I noticed he had his own unique flow. He sounded like no one. And I thought he got something special. If he was to seriously go solo international fans would get it. Korea I was not sure cause you know they think he ugly. So I wasn't sure how they would act. But I totally agree his music will be timeless. He really understands the roots of hip hop.

Suga: I feel like song and production wise he had grown soo much. Rap wise too me he always had bars in his solo work that never changed. Pen game always been top tier. I know he dim himself down on group projects. But his song arrangements have vastly improved over the years. If he seriously wanted to leave the spotlight and work behind the scenes he would be a industry go to.

RM: I feel like he is more into that artistic philosophical kind of rap. For example Tablo has grown from very hip hop into very artistic philosophical rapper. I think thats lane he is going into. The break he deserves I feel he will get in the military unfortunately. When he only have to focus on drills. 🤣
