I’m Icezyy from the Philippines who travels to Singapore.
Tumblr media
As I step out of the airplane, I notice that there are a lot of things that are different from the Philippines and Singapore, especially in the facilities of the airport. Singapore Changi Airport doesn't have many employees because they are high-tech; all you need to do is scan your passport and scan your face, and then you are allowed to pass immigration. There was no question and answer, unlike in the Philippines, where before you get out of immigration there are many more questions and you still need to fall in line to pass immigration.
Singapore Changi Airport is one of the largest airports in Asia. The airport is like a huge mall that will amaze you because of its beauty. These airports have a lot of tourist spots. You will never be bored, but you will be tired because of the activities you will experience.
First, the Jewel Changi Airport, where you can see the tallest indoor waterfalls called the HSBC Rain Vortex. Second, the Skytrain also passes through the HSBC Rain Vortex, which gives tourists a breathtaking view. Third, Shiseido Forest Valley has an overlook of the HSBC Rain Vortex and has walking trails that you can use to go up as high as you want without getting too close to the waterfalls. These are the famous spots in Singapore.
I hope you enjoy it and that it also inspires you to travel in this country.

so hot lah 🔥🥵
Forgot to post an update before, during and after we went to Singapore. I am now back in KL and I must say, while SG stole my heart during my first visit, KL is growing on me and I'm getting convinced each day that living here is better. Aside from the expensive prices there, KL actually has a certain charm that got me wanting to stay a little longer.

Day 2 highlights - Jewel Changi, Merlion park, Gardens by the bay, SEA Aquarium, Chili/salted eggCrab, Cereal Prawn, Hawker Chan,
Don't get me wrong, I love how modern it is in SG, the arts, food, and vibe but I think it's good for a short escape only.x

Wa-En Wagyu Yakiniku - Good Quality Yakiniku with Wide Selection at Jewel
We needed a kids’ friendly place or rather, somewhere kids can eat too. So I thought of airport, and decided to check out Wa-En Wagyu Yakiniku that opened late last year under En group. The friend jokingly commented only in Singapore where locals go to the airport to eat. The place was empty which was pretty surprising since it was a weekend, but we welcomed the quietness in the restaurant. We…

Indulging in a guilty pleasure is something we all yearn for, seeking comfort and joy in the little things. As I found myself immersed in the depths of my monthly cycle, a familiar craving for chocolate whispered in my ear. But this time, it was more than just a fleeting desire. It was a longing for a moment of solace, a sweet respite from the chaos of everyday life.
Driven by a love for all things chocolate, my heart guided me to a discovery at Changi Airport's Jewel: Beanfolks, a haven of chocolate delights. Stepping into the shop, the air filled with the strong aroma of cocoa, instantly drawing me closer to the shelves adorned with an exquisite assortment of chocolate bars, cocoa husks, brownies, and cookies.
As I delved into the secrets behind their creations, I couldn't help but feel a connection to the passion and dedication that went into each and every piece of chocolate. The knowledge shared within those walls extended beyond the realm of confections, teaching me about the humble cocoa trees that thrive along the equator, bearing the very essence of happiness in the form of cocoa pods and beans.
With each sip of the carefully crafted 70% ice chocolate infused with lavender, I felt a sense of warmth and tranquility washing over me. It was a moment where time stood still, and I couldn't help but wonder about the possibilities that awaited me with each new flavor and adventure at Beanfolks.
Beanfolks isn't just a shop; it's a sanctuary that invites you to indulge your senses and nurture your soul. It's a place where chocolate becomes more than just a treat; it becomes a heartfelt experience that touches the deepest corners of your heart.
So, my dear reader, I invite you to join me on this journey. Step into the world of Beanfolks, where every bite is infused with love and every sip carries a touch of magic.
Let us embark on a shared experience of savoring life's simple pleasures and finding solace in the embrace of chocolate.
Trust me, once you take that first taste, your heart will be forever captivated by the enchantment of Beanfolks.
