Author’s note: HEY GUYS! I know that I’ve been kinda gone lately, but I have reasons for that. My summer vacation ended, and I had to go back to school. We’re still studying online, but I had to take a diagnostic test this past week so they’d know how’s my scholarity level. So, because of all the studying and trying to keep up on a new school (yes, I moved from schools.), I didn’t have any time to write or finish my writings. I’ll try finishing a request today because I’m feeling super creative and nostalgic BUT to everyone who follows HARRYxMODELY/N series, like it and miss it, I just did this ‘’facts-timeline’’ in a hope to feed you guys lol. Anyway, this is like a time line of 2017 and how their relationship developed on that year. I plan on doing one for each year till 2020 and post it on the break between posting the requests. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it and maybe discover things about them that you didn’t know yet. Love you all and thank you for the support and love! TPWK and remember that you’re so golden.

The first ever communication between them was on May 12th, 2017(Model Y’N’s 20th birthday) AND the realesing of HS1 album.

She sent a DM to him on instagram congratulating him by saying she loved the album and wished him all the success.

No, they didn’t know each other and she honestly thought that he’d never answer to her.

After a few hours, Harry answered to her message and she freaked out but never answered back because she didn’t want to bother him.

They officialy met on November 28th, 2017 when Harry performed on Victoria Secrets Fashion Show that occured in Shanghai, China.

It was the first time that Model Y/N ever walked for Victoria Secrets.

She walked the Goddesses segment while Harry sang ‘’Only Angel’’.

Harry literally got on his knees when she walked past him.

He likes to describe his emotion at that moment as “mesmerized”.

Even though she knew that VS models and the singers are supposed to flirt a little on stage to create a teasing sensation, she was so surprised by his actions.

After the show was done, Harry wasn’t going to attend the VS after party but decided to attend last minute because he wanted to know her.

He approached her very calmly and gentle and invited her to ‘’hang out’’ with him and his band through Shanghai as he was going to leave on the next day to complete his tour.

She asked Bella to go with her because she didn’t want to hang out with him and his bandmates alone as they didn’t know each other.

But she did felt a huge connection between them almost immidiately.

Through Shanghai, Harry was hitting on her the ENTIRE time! He was complimenting, being super nice, and flirting as well but she honestly thought he was just being nice.

Harry thought for a while that she was playing it hard to get until he realized that she wasn’t.

They spent the whole night going through Shanghai.

They went to Nanjing Road and walked around seeing the lights.

They bought those film cameras and took the funniest pictures ever. They still have those films but never digitalized it to the computer.

They went to all those mini bars and had a few drinks while eating chinese food.

Btw, Harry and Model Y/N LOVE chinese food.

They were on the same hotel.

They didn’t go back yet but plan to do so when quarantine is over.

When it was about 8am, they came back to their hotel.

They both agreed that they would come back to Shanghai one day to go to disneyland.

So Harry went back to his tour and Model Y/N went back to NYC.

On the night out in Shanghai they exchanged numbers because Bella Hadid(Model Y/N’s bff)noticed that Harry was interested on Model Y/N, so she casually told them that they should get each other’s number.

The media was crazy about them. First it was the VS move and then there was tons of paps photos of them out in Shanghai.

The media was trying to sell the story as if they were already dating before the VS, which wasn’t true.

They talked for months as friends because of the number exchange.

They talked via texts, calls and face time all the time but it wasn’t anything more than friendship to her.

Model Y/N and some friends of her was planning on traveling to Ibiza, Spain to celebrate New Year’s Eve and as she and Harry were getting really close to each other she invited him and told him that he could take whoever he wanted.

Of course she thought he was cute and had a small crush but nothing extreme.

Harry did invited her for some of his shows but she couldn’t attend any of it.

That made Harry think that she didn’t like him.

She thought he was going to take a girlfriend.

Harry took Gemma and her boyfriend to the trip with him.

Yes, their whole group of friends were there as well but midia acted like there was only them in it.

They were in Ibiza from December 28th, 2017 to January 3rd, 2018.

The group of friends that was in Ibiza with them included Bella Hadid, Fai Khadra, Imaan Hammam, Grace Elizabeth, Gemma Styles, Machine Gun Kelly, Model Y/N’s brother, etc.

And yes, there were TONS of paps in Ibiza following them because the media was selling the whole ‘’Harry Styles’s new girlfriend’s thing.“

Harry is super private about relationships and Model Y/N had ended a serious relationship early that year so they just didn’t address any rumors because they didn’t care about what the media said.

They “saw” each other as friends and that was what mattered.

It was probably the most random group of friends that she ever traveled with, but it was fun on the same way.

They had a really cool and funny vibe, and it was really easy to everyone to get along.

When fans noticed that Y/N’s friends were following Harry on social media they really thought all the rumors were real.

Their house was really close to the beach, so you could actually see it by Harry’s bedroom barricade.

They usually went to the beach or stayed by the pool during the day and went out at night.

Honestly, they used to come home from the nightlife of Ibiza at 3/4am.

They’d wake up after noon for sure.

Harry wouldn’t eat his breakfast until Model Y/N’s woken up.

He’d cook an avocado toast sandwich to her every morning and wait for her to wake up.

He’d do it because on one of their late night talks, she had told him that she loved it so much.

They’d eat at the barricade while watching the beach.

Model Y/N HAD always been obsessed with Harry’s hair and she’d tell him that he needed to moisturize his hair as they were under the sun all the time.

It was just an excuse to touch his hair.

So they’d exchange it. She’d put oil on his hair, and he’d put on hers.

If they had to go to the beach, Harry would convince her to do the craziest things like fly board flying, going on jetskis together and those things.

He was the only one to convince her to do it because she is TERRIFIED of swimming in the ocean.

They’d all go out for lunch on some restaurants and after going shopping before the sunset.

Harry would always come to her saying like “oh, this would look good in you” whenever he saw a piece of cloth that he liked.

Some fans would post pics of them on social media only making the rumors go hard.

Then one fan would post that met up with them and they said they’re just friends, which was true at that time.

Back at the house, they’d get ready to enjoy the Ibiza nightlife.

They’d dress a little better and go out to some bar or club.

Do you know those videos of Harry dancing in Anguilla? It would be the same vibe. Harry and Model Y/N would vibe so hard to the songs, and dance and shout and sing. It would be really funny.

Model Y/N used to go to his room at 4 am when they came back from the street because they usually sit by the barricade and talked for hours.

They’d talk about all the things that mattered to them, like: career, fashion, music, video, paintings, friends, family, how fame changed their lives.

They’d laugh about all the dating rumors as well, but it would be that type of laugh like “lol I wished it was true.”

They’d tell each other dad jokes and stories about their lives and experiences until the sunrise.

By the afternoon of December 31st, 2017, they were all talking about their new year’s kiss and they decided that Harry and Y/N would be one of the pairs to kiss.

Model Y/N agreed but it was more of a joke to her than a real kiss; she didn’t take it seriously.

They all got ready to celebrate NYE on the beach.

On the next day there were tons of videos of them dancing on the beach and them with fans as well.

When the New Year came, they had their first kiss and of course that changed everything.

Both of them felt sparkles and by the effect of a few drinks that both of them had on that night, they did share some other kisses here and there on that night.

For a miracle, no one captured them kissing on camera.

Three years ago on New Years, I posted a letter to a boy to tell him everything I never got the chance to say.

Two years ago on New Years, I posted an entry that promised to complain less, appreciate my mistakes, be more patient, and get over a boy that wasn't worth my time.

One year ago on New Years, I posted an entry that detailed my realizations and accomplishments of the year. It was about realizing that many of my limitations are self-imposed and that happiness comes and goes.

So looking back on 2018, I choose not to linger on what things I should’ve done but to hold onto the memories that somehow just felt right:

At 18, I thought about the small apartment party where I chatted and made friends (and fell flat on my back . . .)

At 17, I thought about how I raced my boyfriend through dorm hallways

At 16, I thought about how I hiked in the Blandford Nature Center on my birthday and got mud everywhere

At 15, how I said goodbye to my two best friends at the airport to go to Italy where I found the most beautiful apartment with the most beautiful rooftop view and the most beautiful roommates

At 14, how I went to Fiesole outside of Florence with two classmates I had just met to eat good food and drink good wine and watch the sunset over the city

At 13, how I went to Cinque Terre and swam in Manarola and skinny dipped in Monterosso

At 12, how I went clubbing in Croatia and swimming in Krka National Park

At 11, how I drank orange granitas in Capri and took a chairlift up Mount Solaro

At 10, sleeping in a tent in Interlaken, Switzerland, hiking Harder Kulm, and jumping off waterfalls while canyoning

At 9, traveling to the UP--jumping off Black Rocks, waterfall hopping, and biking around Mackinac

At 8, partying at Kappa Kappa Sig and stealing a random person’s Fireball

At 7, passing Burnett’s and sharing stories around a campfire

At 6, crying about the environment at a tailgate when my boyfriend threw a soda cap on the ground (he preceded to take care of me for the rest of the day)

5, going to cedar point with my boyfriend and getting to know his brother

4, getting on an overcrowded party bus to go to an overcrowded party for Halloween

3, getting into Okelly’s using someone else’s fake ID and two other people using the same fake the same night

2, going to Soaring Eagle for free and eating a lot of good food with a lot of good people

1, partying with three of my favorite people into the New Year--my best friend, my boyfriend, and my brother.

When my flights were delayed, I made friends to pass the time. Despite having lost luggage, annoying “family” (roommate) meetings, problems with my debit card, and waterlogging my phone, I saw more and did more in Europe than I could ever imagine. Even though I fought with my friends this year, my relationships are stronger and more resilient. When classes got hard, I have a strong idea of my future and strong relationships that encourage me. With all my memories, good and bad, I end 2018 with hope and intentions for the New Year . . .

I’ve always said that my goal is to fall in love: fall in love with a guy, with my friends, with the world and adventures, with my job, and with myself. As new years come and go, I look at how far I’ve come.

I have begun falling in love with myself. With rocking a red velvet dress. With my two new front teeth. With creating a room in my new house that suits my style--with a map and plants and calming colors and a yoga mat in the corner. With choosing a theater minor and learning from people who aren’t scared to make mistakes.

I have begun falling in love with my future career. I got accepted to my major. I became the president-elect of AFSLP. I learned more about traveling speech pathology. And I’m excited to find an internship that helps me continue exploring.

I have fallen in love with the world. With all the places I’ve been able to travel and all the places I’ll go in the future. Someday, I hope to live in a big city, and someday, I hope to live in a beach town. And if I speak it into existence, it becomes true: my future holds many more adventures.

I have fallen in love with my friends. With partying and eating cheese bread and watching the Bachelor. With all the memories they’ve given me, all the care they’ve taken, and all the love they’ve shared.

But mostly, I have fallen in love with my boyfriend. I have found someone who makes my heart at peace. Someone that cooks with me. Someone that carries me to bed when I’m sleepy and feeds me Taco Bell nachos when I’m drunk. Someone that holds me during my nightmares. Someone willing to nap with my friends and I. Someone that dances silly with me at parties. Someone who is very competitive when it comes to mini golf. Someone that lets me throw him off the jetski. Someone I can never get enough of.

With everything I’ve learned this year, this coming year, above all else, I am aiming for personal growth.

I want to be more intentional about the things I do in my life. I want to be intentional about my relationships and the people I dedicate my time to. I want to think my food and why I eat what I eat. I want to think about my courses and what things I’m prioritizing in my life. Meaning stems from intentionality and by understanding my actions, they become more meaningful.

I want to be more in touch with intuition. I want to act more instinctively when treating my body with food, rest, and work. I want to follow my intuition to become a better decision maker. I want to ground myself by observing my thoughts, emotions, and cognitive biases without allowing them to control me or dictate my actions.

I want to redefine success in my life. A productive day does not have to be one filled with homework or work. A successful day is accomplishing what I set out to do for that day--whether that’s making a healthy meal or studying or actively taking care of myself.

I want to be more openly communicative about how I’m feeling and learn how to use others as support. I want to use journaling to let go of my thought loops and as a way to organize my thoughts in order to verbally communicate them later.

Once I refine these, I hope to share these ideas with others, continuing to spread love instead of judgements. I forget where, but I heard this quote: “[We must find/be a] glimmer of selflessness against which we can judge the callousness of a world in which love has been sacrificed to economic necessity.” I plan to use this as a reminder to prioritize love in my life and to understand how others may become callous due to greed or to physical necessity--something I have not experienced, and therefore, will not fully understand.

As I go forward . . . here is to remembering that nothing will go exactly as I plan (although this doesn’t mean that I shouldn’t set goals). Here’s to being more intentional in order to become more connected to myself and to the present. Here’s to being more kind and to finding happiness as it flows in and out of my life. Here’s to not to letting my thoughts control me, but to accepting them and releasing them. Here’s to a new year.

Ok, don’t judge me but I think we are done with Goa; for sometime at least.

Take a look at this – six times to Goa between 2005 to 2018 so roughly once every two years. Now is the time to drop this infatuation with Goa and mature as a traveller ( I think we already have and have moved on). While I think of our next travel destination have a look at how our sixth trip to Goa turned out to be!

It was a family trip with my brother in law joining us with his family. Four adults and four kids and the beaches, food and water sports in Goa treated us well and the kids enjoyed them to the fullest.

Summer vacations are the best time to get together with extended family who are staying in faraway places for obvious reasons (read job). And the happy of the happiest are the kids who just enjoy to the fullest. We decided on Goa because my brother in law hadn’t been to Goa with kids and though we had been to Goa twice with kids we wanted them to enjoy the place with their brothers too.

And it was the best decision for the kids they enjoyed water activities, food and the pool to the fullest.

We booked Soul Vacation Resort and Spa close to Colva beach. It is a boutique hotel with around 34 rooms – most of them pool facing. The spa, bar and restaurant are also overlooking the pool which make the structure quite compact and comfortable. It was off season officially in Goa so we had the hotel almost to ourselves and the pool definitely to the kids. They played games like – Shark, Shark and the adults were busy unwinding and relaxing and chatting while keeping a close watch on the kids as they enjoyed in the pool. Later, we also entered the pool and then what followed were a few challenges and tricks in the water.

Though it was rainy season and the beaches were marked as not safe we did walk on the Colva beach with the kids running towards the wave and jumping on it every time there was a big splash of wave. We also made sand castle and played football with the local guys at the beach. It rained while we were on the beach and we happily got drenched; don’t remember when was the last time that we got wet like children.

Sometimes I think why is growing up such a burden; such a task. We lose all simplicity and the simple joys that life offers us everyday. Still, am thankful for such days when one can enjoy the pleasures of life that we take for granted.

We also helped fisherman pull out their net at the Colva beach and this is the first time we ever saw fish and octopus in the net (mostly we see them on the plate). Though the beach is quite touristy and not so clean but during the off season it is not so bad either and being close to the hotel (just about 5 minutes walk) it is quite convenient to walk with the kids.

There are also shacks on the beach but frankly our kids did not enjoy it and we got back to the hotel mostly for food. Food at Soul Vacation Goa was delicious and fresh – joys of travelling in the off season. We also tried the vada pav for lunch from one of the stalls at the beach and totally loved the local flavour.

Water Sports

There are no water sports in the sea in July because the monsoons are in full swing and the seas are quite rough. There are however water activities in the river Sal till mid July. Jack Cruises at the bank of the river Sal is a good choice for all the water sports in the River Sal. We did the speed boat, jetski, Bumperride (ringo) and the kid’s favourite Banana Ride. I was too scared of the Banana ride, actually I dislike the part that they drop you in water so I gave it a miss and I also fear that there would be a crocodile lurking some where there (too much of Bollywood/Hollywood influence I guess) Kids wanted to do the banana ride again and again and did not want to get out of the water.

While on our way back to the hotel from here we stopped at a shop – Mario’s Cottage that was selling souvenirs from Mario Miranda. This shop is a treasure trove and gives you a look into the Goan way of life through an artist’s perspective. Though most of the stuff is priced slightly on the higher side but still it is worth a visit.

We booked a cab for the day and went Goa touring starting with the Big Foot museum which shows you the rural life of Goa. It is a very interesting place for all but kids enjoy it more than anyone else with life size statues and the audio that goes with it; all the aspects are self explanatory so you don’t need a guide or to read anything. Just go with the audio and you can understand everything. There is a longest laterite sculpture of Mirabai which is 14m by 5m long and was made in just 30 days.

Old Goa churches take you in a different time zone and are a must visit for their grandeur and style of architecture. Kids were amazed when they were shown the remains of St. Francis, they couldn’t believe their eyes. I am still wondering what each of them would have thought about it?

Goa also has some very famous temples and we visited the Mangueshi Temple and Shanta Durga temple. In fact, it is like coming a full circle; in 2015 when we were in Goa we visited all the major temples in Goa and it was after this visit that I started with this blog.

Goa is like our travel home literally speaking, now even our kids know the places by name and can tell you a thing or two. This place grows on you and every time you visit the comfort factor makes you feel so happy and secure that you want to come back for more. Wish there were more places in India with this kind of vibe; may be there are and we will continue our journey to look for such places and write about them here. 

Tips for travellers:

No cut sleeves allowed inside the old Goa Churches.

Dresses above knees, shorts not allowed inside the temple.

During off season most of the shacks on the popular beaches are shut but not to worry there are many food options.

Sunscreen, hats and goggles are a must in Goa.

Running away from February frosts?

Indeed. To get away from it all we mobilize Avios points and jet off to a quintessential Bajan Airbnb set behind a frangipan tree and swaying magenta vines of bougainvillea. A simple arrangement with a large covered outside area sheltered from cooling trade winds and heavy rain showers. Not easy to find though and we had to help our taxi driver navigate in the dark! Bet you’re glad to see Ms Apple again. As night falls a persistent squeak starts up. Gleep, gleep. It's a Bajan whistling frog. Small but irritating. Quiet you bounder. People on holiday. Oi you, frog, shut it. Amazingly it is known as Johnstone Tree Frog. Long lost relative? Females are typically larger than males. Most active at night. I say!

 So what did we get up to?

Climbed up and down a hill from our digs to Paynes Beach. Jumped on very busy yellow buses with music and accelerators on full! Competition to gather a miniscule flat fare results in cramming people on and taking no prisoners. Like a bus out of Hell. But done courteously – cheap and efficient. Mostly we frequented the platinum west coast. A chance to fuel the sunbed industry and join bodies on white sand beaches watching a succession of catamarans, glass bottom boats, small boats with canopies and young turks on jetskis. Kerching, another 30 souls arrive on a catamaran called ‘Jammin’, to be mobbed by jetskis, boats with ‘Great Big Mable’ floating sofas, and hobie cats. But some other distractions too: Holders market, polo, and rum punch encounters! Further afield we visited Speightstown (formerly known as Little Bristol) – run down, quiet and utterly charming (like me!).  A quick look at the Arlington House Museum then thank goodness for the Orange Street Grocer – a tip top coffee shop. “Left-handed I see” observed a passing old boy as we waited in the bus station. Away from the beach plenty of ‘for sale’ signs were in evidence. Our 11am bus took us across the island, past swathes of sugar cane and small villages (and Nigel Benn’s Aunties Bar) to Bathsheba on the wild Atlantic coast. A stroll around Andromeda Botanical Gardens and a Banks beer by the raging waves. Overall star of the show? The milky blue and azure Caribbean Sea: warm, inviting, refreshing with patches of interesting corals. Folkstone Marine Park, coffee at the Coral Beach Club and strolling the beachfront. Swimming and snorkeling heaven in Sandy Bay: a clutch of Blue cherub fish, Blue Tang, Angel fish, Flat needlefish, Eyed Founder almost invisible hiding in the sand, sharpnose puffers, and small trunkfish.

 Fine dining?

I feelin fuh lunch wid a crunch. Thank goodness for The Times Weekend article on foodie Barbados: where the cool crowd eats. Top end – The Tides in Holetown: more down to earth – Surfside Beach Bar. Either way it was mostly catch of the day to top up DIY breakfasts on our very own private patio.  Super fine.
