Phillies drafting for Dylan Campbell is worse than the signing Jake Cave, these guys are signing for data and names.
Telling me Jake Cave couldn’t have a cool bar somewhere.
He should not be on a major league roster.
Matt Vierling actually had a good year for the tigers last year.
How is this guy in a car shield commercial.
You don’t want to know.
Mike Schmidt is mystery bathing 4 times a day through existential heat sometimes.
I thought Steve Carlton was weird.
I’m rooting for teams like the Reds.
They traded for Jesus.
He’s different that guy is really good. Can’t make people feel uncomfortable for their names.
Make them proud.
What I think is cool, is their is an MMA fighter named Islam. There’s a lot of Chris and Christopher’s, not a lot of Islams. Pretty cool to see.
Think Diamondbacks aren’t getting juiced, Angels getting name heat. Easier to play to play for the Dodgers.
Luzardo is sweet bottom line, I had a draft kings situation a couple years back, didn’t look at the pitching matchup took the Phillies over the Marlins and…
Don’t bet against Jesus.
Pure garbage signings, can’t win that way. Atlanta is getting taken apart constantly, they’re trying to hid Max Fried in New York, Phillies selling out. Unfortunately it’s stagnant, can’t hide him there, go to Tampa go to Kansas City or play with a team that doesn’t get psyched out like the Reds. I’m still rooting for the Phillies.
It doesn’t sound like it.
They don’t read past the name on the resume, Luzardo excluded which doesn’t make his job any easier but he’s a Cy Young caliber pitcher. No car shield commercial required.
Nobody wants to play in Anaheim, that’s why the Ducks never win a cup. It’s a feeder system.
Like nobody really wants to play in Sacramento, people can find sanctuary in Arizona or Salt Lake City. Everyone any good in Sacramento these days, wants to be good somewhere else.
Maaybe not Sabonis.
Seattle. Tech industry, San Fran.
Silicons best contribution to the world, Tupperware.
I knew you were anti-tech.
I just ordered a pizza from my pocket computer, I don’t think so.
Phillies rip off the marlins after playing them so terribly, succumb to rhetoric signings.
Luzardo excluded.
We’re trying to make people’s jobs easier. Unfortunately he’s a good pitches and doesn’t get psyched out.
White Sox fighting through so much existential heat, so many fun personalities. The Hawk is out there somewhere.
Go Phillies.
Let’s go to Cave’s.
Tommy Pham could be the fantasy GM for my baseball team anytime. A’s in Vegas.
They’re spending money.
The Chi Sox aren’t very good. Period.

Marlins Rally Late To Beat Twins.
Twins 2 Marlins 5 W-Floro (1-0) L-Jax (0-1) SV-Puk (2)
The Twins were finally handed their first loss of the season behind a Sandy Alcantara shutout. The team looked for the series win in the finale in Miami today. The Marlins got the scoring starting in the first inning. Jorge Soler crushed a Pablo Lopez fastball out to left for a solo blast. Meanwhile, Pablo Lopez and Jesus Luzardo duked it out in a pitcher’s duel. The Twins finally figured out Luzardo in the seventh with a Ryan Jeffers one-out double to right. Trevor Larnach delivered a big two-out single to left, which plated Jeffers and tied the game at one. The Marlins offense woke up in the eighth with a Jean Segura infield single and a Jon Berti single to right. With two outs, Bryan De La Cruz delivered a run-scoring single to center to put Miami on top. Jorge Soler followed and crushed a Caleb Thielbar slider out to deep left field for a three-run home run. This put the Marlins up 5-1 after eight innings of play. The Twins would have one rally left in them in the ninth as Kyle Farmer lined a one-out single to right and Ryan Jeffers walked. A wild pitch from AJ Puk plated a run and the Twins were within three. Trevor Larnach was called out on strikes on a questionable pitch to end the game. The Marlins took two of three games from the Twins this week in Miami.
-Final Thoughts- Pablo Lopez looked good against his former team. He threw seven innings and allowed a run on three hits with eight strikeouts and a walk. Griffin Jax gave up two runs of 1/3 of an inning and Caleb Thielbar gave up two more in 2/3 of an inning. The Twins scattered six hits today and hit 2-for-7 with runners in scoring position. They left six men on base. The Twins couldn’t hit in the final two games of this series and it costed them. They have pitched well enough to win all six games. The Twins will return home and have an off day tomorrow. Jose Urquidy faces Sonny Gray in the home opener on Friday afternoon from Target Field.

This is a terminal case of “posting through it”
Buddy, you got a multi-year deal from NPB. You had a 4.48 ERA in your last full season of Major League Baseball (which was also six years ago). Just shut the hell up already.

Alcantara Shuts Out Twins.
Twins 0 Marlins 1 W-Alcantara (1-0) L-Maeda (0-1)
The Minnesota Twins early season dominance continued with a blowout win over the Marlins last night. The series continued tonight in the 305 as Kenta Maeda took the mound. The Marlins got the scoring started in the second inning as Avisail Garcia smacked a Kenta Maeda slider out to left for a solo blast. Sandy Alcantara ran with it as he was rolling all night long. The Twins mustered up three hits tonight and couldn’t solve him. He struck out five over a complete game shutout as the Marlins blanked the Twins 1-0 tonight in Miami.
-Final Thoughts- Kenta Maeda looked good in his first start since 2021. He threw five innings and allowed a run on three hits with nine strikeouts. Emilio Pagan threw two shutout innings and struck out two. Jovani Moran had a 1-2-3 eighth. The Twins scattered three hits on the night and left three men on base. Byron Buxton had a maintenance day as the team wants him to start tomorrow against a lefty and in the home opener. Max Kepler had an MRI on his leg and we are awaiting on the results. This game lasted a quick one hour and fifty-seven minutes. The home opener has now been pushed to Friday afternoon. Tomorrow, Pablo Lopez will face Jesus Luzardo in the series finale.

A's prospect update: Fowler called up, Luzardo dominates
Athletics prospect Dustin Fowler promoted
Oakland Athletics top outfield prospect Dustin Fowler had already made his big league debut. He started a game for the New York Yankees last June — a game in which he injured his knee and was rendered out for the season before even getting his first big league at-bat. He was later traded at the MLB trade deadline to the A’s, as part of a package of…
