Is Trailblazer going to be a massive hypocrite towards EVERY galaxy ranger? First, they have the gall to give Boothill a hard time for doing things that are mean or against the law- when one of their ult lines is "rules were made to be broken", and they're perfectly happy with breaking laws and peoples bones themself. Now, they're being rude towards Rappa even after she saves them and is super nice towards them just because she acts weird- yet their own main personality trait is 'look at how WEIRD and QUIRKY I am hehe'. Which technically isn't as bad as with Boothill because it doesn't seem to be directly racist, but it's still really fucking annoying.

I reanalyzed the saw movies and by that I mean I saw someone tear them apart with a fine tooth comb and oh my god they're so much worse than I remember them being in every capacity. the only salvageable one is the first one and even then it REQUIRES the next six in order to make anything make any sense, and even then not even tobin bell's fucking incredible acting could ever make john anything besides literally the most spiteful vindictive asshole who either is god or killed god because of just how many goddamn variables went into the plot. either way he's a lying piece of shit but at least he's not as much of a lying piece of shit as fucking hoffman. at least grief and cancer are enough to adequately explain john's actions just like it did for walter white's. hoffman was literally just a dick FOR NO GOOD GODDAMN REASON. oh yeah until 7 showed us it's because jill was the one who was blackmailing him into doing that THUS COMPLETELY FUCKING NEGATING HER LITERAL ENTIRE CHARACTER ARC OH MY GOD THESE MOVIES ARE SO TRASH JESUS CHRIST FUCK THIS WHOLE GENRE
and people wonder why I watch my little pony. it's a lore heavy high fantasy with ridiculously heavy continuity and character development like game of thrones but without unnecessary levels of blood and gore and misogynist sexual objectification. it's literally just a solid block of plot and world building and storytelling that's mostly free of sensationalism and filler that I can watch with my little sister not being bored or scarred for life. fuck torture porn and fuck saw and fuck all of the fans of either. edit- I can't believe I forgot to mention all of the shitty torture porn creepypasta fanfics for mlp that even had me mention that in the first place. cheerilee's fucking garden. twilight's fucking dollhouse. rainbow fucking factory. butterflies. sweet apple massacre. FUCKING CUPCAKES. horror as a genre is just crap outside of video games AND EVEN THEN ITS ON THIN FUCKIN ICE.

(DORORO 2019)
So next up is dororo
Where do I start
Oof
So dororo started out really fucking good
Like I fucking vibed with that shit
For the first few episodes that is
I was actually excited when I heard it was gonna be 24 episodes instead of 12
But honestly, 12 would have been better because
So. Much. Fucking. Filler
And shit animation for 4 episodes straight to save the budget for more action packed episodes
(Insert dororo running up a hill)
But some of the episodes literally started making me disinterested in the series as a whole
I liked the story
I loved Dororo and Hyakkimarus relationship
The fact that dororo calls him bro and Aniki
(Cries cause dororo is so cute)
The arc with Mio was honestly so sad but so well done (I bawled my fucking eyes out)
(Though I haven't cried like once since lol)
Anikis "mama" was so cute
I really liked how it showed WHY Aniki needed human parts, WHY it was so important
The appearance and an actual Pokemon *cough
And also Anikis development at the end, and even Diago finally taking some fucking blame (could have done it before your wife and son burned to ash, but hey)
AND LAST EPISODE ANIMATION AND FIGHT SCENE WERE HELLA NICE
things I didn't like
Which is Alot lol
Episodes got boring, some scenes, the gore was a bit unnecessary, mama 1 and 2, and Tahomaru DIDN'T HAVE TO FUCKING DIE. LIKE THAT WAS SUCH BULLSHIT. THERE WAS NO REASON. that scene makes me so mad, for so many reasons.
Dororos "mama" should have stuck around, and been there to teach Aniki more, his real mama and Tahomaru, both fucking forgave him, and he forgave them as well. They could of had such a great scene of them finally together, BUT NO. ALSO THE MOTHER FUCKING LETTING HER CHILD DIE. Why did she just get to fucking decide that his life is over. He wasn't even that badly hurt, and he could of lead the people somewhere else. WHY DID SHE LET HIM DIE FOR NO FUCKING REASON, WTF WAS THAT BULLSHIT.
sorry went on a tangent there, but seriously
Also what annoyed me was why they were so deadset on the stupid land
When they could have gone anywhere else
There is so much fucking land, just move, Jesus Christ.
And last one that I'm gonna bother touching on is the fact that Aniki would leave Dororo, AND NOT SAY BYE, JUST LEAVE. THAT UGHHHHH.
This series was such a mix of emotions, but I think I would rewatch certain episodes, and I am glad that the the very least, they do end up together, even if I disagree with like everything else.

Alright an actual review of sorts for Digimon Adventure Tri: Loss under the cut
So first of all, I have to say that seeing Biyomon and Patamon reach Hououmon and Seraphimon was pretty cool. Seeing HerculesKabuterimon was cool too (I’ll get more on these later), and also having them follow up on the question mark from the first season about the original chosen children was also nice. It gave context to what Maki was doing, and explained where the sovereign digimon came from (although that raises a few questions by itself). It was also nice that they didn’t run back the whole memory wipe thing from the last movie and suddenly make all the digimon remember (though I wouldn’t be surprised if they did that in the final movie).
Hooooonestly though, that’s as far as my positive takes from Loss go.
I was pretty disappointed at how little focus Sora and Biyomon’s plot got, since the trailers focused on it a lot. While the other characters had arcs within their movie where they struggled with their crest traits and then overcame those struggles/accepted those parts about themselves more, Sora ended the movie pretty much the same way she came into it. More time with Sora reconnecting with Biyomon would have been nice, but I guess what happened happened.
While I did find the way they used the lore to frame the plot kinda interesting, the revelation that Homeostasis and Yggdrasil were in opposition struck me as kind of odd. That I could’ve worked with, however what I couldn’t work with was Yggdrasil’s portrayal as some malicious entity because it just... didn’t make sense. Unless Yggdrasil’s been infected (which seems unlikely) its goals would have been for what it believed to be the greater good, even if we or other characters didn’t agree. But now Yggdrasil’s being painted as a black and white evil villain, summoning dark masters (for god knows what reason) and ‘corrupting’ Gennai into mr bad touch man.
like jesus christ these are children did we honestly need to have the whole weird touchy villain thing it was so unnecessary and made no sense for someone who thought they were doing ‘the right thing’
On the subject of Yggdrasil, first of all... Why are we doing this again. It’s always Yggdrasil and the Royal Knights. Alphamon’s lurkin around somewhere ready to be plot relevant in the next movie, and Jesmon is around too. Can we have a digimon plot that doesn’t eventually lead back to “Yggdrasil thought things were fucky and decided to reboot”. I’m tired. I also find it really weird that Yggdrasil’s agents of choice are the dark masters and gennai. Like... Aite?????? If you’re gonna go with the same recycled Yggdrasil plot, at least follow through and use the Royal Knights for what they’ve been made to do.
And then we have the animation. Oh boy. After the last two movies did a pretty solid to good job, this one has a lot of shortcuts, still images and filler spots. As well as the most glaring size and proportion inconsistencies to date (the other movies have had similar problems but they’re preeeeeetty bad here at times). There were multiple occasions where characters just teleported into frame. Like damn. The action sequences in this movie were pretty lacking too. While I did like seeing Seraphimon and HerculesKabuterimon again, it seemed like they were thrown in out of obligation rather than anything else. Like someone in the board room went “HKabuterimon didn’t fight back in the last movie and Seraphimon didn’t show up because of plot, we gotta get them in somewhere before the last movie!”.
Of all the movies in Tri, this is the one where I can feel that they intended for this story to be a show with episodes the hardest. There are like 2 or 3 arcs crammed into a movie slot, and I feel like the pacing and character parts especially suffer because of this. The only plus I can get from all the corners cut is that it’s very likely they skimped out with this movie to dump all of it into their finale. Hopefully.
Also, this isn’t a complaint, more like a question to anyone that knows this better than I do, but... If Maki’s thing was wanting to see her partner Tapirmon again, who was removed from the reincarnation process after the events from when they were kids... Why wasn’t Tapirmon able to reincarnate again after Apocalymon was defeated in the original series? Wasn’t the whole thing with Apocalymon that it was madeup of the data of digimon that couldn’t reincarnate, and when he was defeated that data was able to be used again? Was Maki’s whole plan pointless because Tapirmon had already been reincarnated prior???????
