Anyway, Jerigrim.

There's of course the number of popular dynamics they fulfill, Stormcloud x Sunshine, Socially Awkward x Awkwardly Social, Big and Bulky x Scrawny Beanpoll, "If I don't talk about my problems they'll disappear" x "I do! I'm sad...", "He makes me laugh" etc

But there's also a bit of canon content. Unfortunately, in canon, Yorgrim doesn't actually get too emotionally close to anyone in the party, which I do believe is a coping mechanism. But of those in that party, I do see his relationship with Jericho as one of his strongest, aside from Briggsy, of course. Jericho is one of the first to extend a hand of connection to him, while it's clear the others are a bit offput by his standoffishness and delayed entry to the party.

Jericho is making strides to ensure he's included from as soon as Lockwood Manor, lagging behind to make sure Yorgrim is okay, trying to help him cope with the panic of seeing the horrific crooked spirits. And in turn, Yorgrim warms up to Jericho quickly, easily entertained by his jokes and accepting his awkward attempts at help.

And then there's the part which I point to for a lot of my Briggrim material as well, being Yorgrim's death. Of the four remaining party members, it's clear that Briggsy and Jericho were hit hardest by his demise. It could be chalked up to Jericho not being used to loss, but whenever what happened that night at the crooked house is brought up, it's always Yorgrim's name that comes up first for both of them, despite the fact that Farryn died as well.

Regardless, all of that can validly be seen in a platonic light. So now we move on to headcanons on why it would work.

First of all, look me in the eyes and tell me either of these two men are neurotypical. You can't. Because they are two sides of the same autism coin. They bond over being horrible at social cues and not understanding why civilizations work the way that they do, Jericho provides his optimistic perspective on things Yorgrim initially considers frivolous. Neither of them have any idea how "dating" or "being in love" works but boy oh boy do I enjoy being in this mans company basically 24/7. Jericho is also deeply and horribly touch starved and this very large man is a very good hugger so that's a plus.

They are both so, so sad. The thing is, both of them have very similar traumas. They both see the outsider perspective of each other's backstories and understand the other wasn't truly at fault for the actions of people they were supposed to trust. Yorgrim knows Jericho can't control Virgil, and he can't truly be held solely accountable for the actions of a literal demon possessing his body. Jericho knows that Yorgrim didn't single-handedly murder everyone in his village, and that in reality, he was manipulated by his cheiftain and has been forced to shoulder the burden of blame ever since. Both of them understand that the other is not evil, just a man burdened with a duty they were never given a chance to deny nor understand. But they both harbor so much guilt and self-loathing for the very thing the other can plainly see as out of their control. The parallels are sickening.
