Word Count: 188 “Don’t open those until later!” - Anonymous Jeremy Dooley

“Jeremy Nicholas Dooley, I swear to Christ,” you warned through gritted teeth. You didn’t even need to see him to know what he was doing; you knew he was trying to peek into the small presents the two of you had agreed to open early before flying to spend Christmas with his family.

From behind you, you heard him huff and very nearly stomp away.

You decided to ignore him and go back to your work. You wanted to get as much done as possible so that when you went with Jeremy back to Boston you didn’t have to worry about anything other than having fun with him and his family. You heard rustling from behind you and sighed again. “Don’t open those until later,” you nearly yelled as you turned around.

However, you paused and stared wide eyed at the gifts. It wasn’t Jeremy being a snoop this time, it was Booker sniffing around and playing with the ribbons.

“You think so lowly of me,” Jeremy said from the door way.

You rolled your eyes and looked back at him, “You probably put Booker up to it.”
