Have you ever read Jeremy Robert Johnson's The Loop? If you liked Exordia it seems that novel might be up your alley
Never even heard of it!
Goodreads summary looks like it has potential? (Even if the 'X meets Y!' marketing makes me cringe). Depends a lot on just how YA it is, I suppose?

My book haul....
You guessed it……another book haul for me today. Now, I was able to browse the bargain section while I was at my local bookstore and that’s where I picked up many of the books off this list. That would explain why I was able to get so many of the books that I got today……because many of the books were priced much cheaper than the actual listing price.

never thought i would actually finish jeremy robert johnson's entropy in bloom, but here i am lol.
and uhm, it's just not for me.
nhưng after all, đó là cũng là điểm khiến tôi không thể nào enjoy được thế giới trong những câu chuyện mà jrj dựng nên: i can't, for the love of my life, relate with a world of endless violence và endless pain. the twistedness of this collection, thus, has ultimately become shallow, pointless, and implausible in my eyes.

Even despite issues concerning Internet Archive, What's New to Netflix has managed to persevere and bring you all of the dirt on the new titles coming in October 2024!
Then we tag along with Robert De Niro and Charles Grodin as they head across country evading the FBI and the mob in Midnight Run from 1988. Next, Aaron Pierre and AnnaSophia Robb have to deal with a town full of corrupt cops led by Don Johnson in Rebel Ridge, directed by Jeremy Saulnier, from 2024. And finally, Johnny Depp goes full creep as Whitey Bulger in the film based on a true story, Black Mass from 2015.
All of this plus we spend a lot of time talking about the recent Halloween franchise trilogy—so much so that everything else seems like a blur, but it's the season for that type of thing, so why would anyone complain?

Congrats to the ultimate winner of the Hot & Vintage Movie Men Tournament, Mr. Toshiro Mifune! May he live happily and well where the sun always shines, enjoying the glories of a battle hard fought.
A loving farewell to all of our previous contestants, who are now banished to the shadow realm and all its dark joys and whispered horrors—I hear there's a picnic on the village green today. If you want to remember the fallen heroes, you can find them all beneath the cut.
What happens next? I'll be taking a break of two weeks to rest from this and prep for the Hot & Vintage Ladies Tournament. I'll still be around but only minimally, posting a few last odes to the hot men before transitioning into a little early ladies content, just like I did with this last tournament. The submission form for the Hot & Vintage Ladies tournament will remain up for one more week (closing February 21st), so get your submissions in for that asap! Once the form closes, there will be one more week of break. The first round of the Hot & Vintage Ladies Tournament will be posted on February 29th, as Leap Year Day seems like a fitting allusion to leaping into these ladies' arms.
Thanks for being here! Enjoy the two weeks off, and send me some great propaganda.
