Some Brain Puzzles

  SEARCH FOR THE MISSING PESO:     May nakita kang t-shirt worth P97. Dahil wala kang cash, nang hiram ka ng P50 sa mom mo at P50 rin sa dad mo. So may P100 ka na, since P97 lang yung T-shirt, may change ka pang P3. Binalik mo yung P1 sa Mom mo at P1 sa Dadmo tapos yung P1 na sa iyo. Eh di may utang ka nalang na P49 sa mom mo at P49 sa dad mo. Here’s the IQ test: P49+49=P98 + P1 na sa iyo = P99. Diba dapat P100 , nasaan yung P170… Think about it!

PARADOX!     The sentence, " This sentance contanes one misteak" contains a  totla of four mistakes: three spelling mistakes, plus the false claim that it only contains one mistake.     Far more complicated it the Problem determining how many mistakes there are in this sentence: "There are three misteaks in this sentance." The sentence contains only two spelling mistakes but claims to contain three spelling mistake to contain three spelling mistakes; there fore the claim is wrong , and it indeed contains three mistakes - except that if it contains three mistakes is correct, and consequently it two spelling miskates, in which case…!     Wahhhhhh!!!!

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS STORY?     A man left 17 horses to his three children. He left one-half to the oldest, one third to the middle child, and one-ninth to the youngest. SInce 17 is not divisible by 2, 3, or 9, the children borrowed a horse from a neighbor in order to have a total of 18 horses.  Then the oldest child recieved 1/2 x 18 = 9 horses, the middle child recieved 1/3 x 18 = 6 horses, and the youngest child recieved 1/9 x 18 = 2 horses.  Since 9 + 6 + 2 = 17, the number of horses left to three children, it was possible to return the extra horse to the neighbor!
