Clock Tower . . . Yesterday, I did a post about the hidden sights of Leamington Spa, which I had not been privy to over the past academic year. On that post, a follower commented that each town has some spots like these; they're not common knowledge, but they hold the essence of the town in them. . . . Personally, I couldn't agree more. Having spent the past 6 years of my life in student towns, I can verify that each town has its hidden hotspot; however, there are some spots which are extremely similar to one another. Like this clock tower, which reminded me of the popular 'Ghanta Ghar' that is a prominent landmark in Dehradun (the Indian town where I attended school). Walking through the Jephson Gardens sent me back to the crowded roundabout where the famous Clock Tower ticked on, cataloguing the time (and people) passing by. . . . Lots of flowers and herbs in my life at the moment. On my rare wander into Leamington spa on my birthday. Been studying so much needed a break so made a little herb garden. I've been wanting to do it for ages just not had the time. Started it off with cardboard to cover the grass, then added my own compost that had been cultivating over last few years.
