Coughing and Spilling the Tea
Summary: Jensen’s daughter knows something he doesn’t. And she can’t wait to tell him.
Words: None
Warnings: none
“Dad!” YN yelled for Jensen. “I have something to tell you!” She grinned as he walked into the living room.
“Can’t talk! Emergency at the brewery!” He called behind him as he stepped through the garage door. “Talk later!”
“Ungh.” YN sighed in disappointment. “Whatever.”
“So, what’s the big news? I’m here, you can tell me!” Jared walked in and sat down next to her on the couch.
“Hi!” YN gasped. “Were you charmed into hanging out with me tonight?” YN laughed.
“I wanted to. Haven’t seen my little punk in a while.”
“I saw you yesterday.” YN tilted her head in curiosity.
“You know what I mean. Just me and you.”
“Oh! In that case, can we pig out on pizza and ice cream and watch terrible movies please? Is he going to be gone for a while?” Her face went from excitement to sadness quickly.
“It may be a while. You tell me your good news and then I will answer your question,” he winked. “I won’t tell your dad, promise.”
“I heard that Danneel Harris was working on a project in Austin, and she wants to “cross paths” with my dad! OOOOOOoooo!” YN giggled.
Jared rolled his eyes.
“And where did you hear that?”
“So you have heard it too!” YN gasped.
“For the record, no, I had not heard that.”
“You know how it is here. Plus- the kids I go to school with are all famous people and who are in town since their parents seem to have connections and know everyone.”
“You want them to date,” Jared sighed. “Look-”
“Yes, I want them to date. I’ve met her, and she is nice! They would get along great! Gen knows her, right? I’m going to go ask her what she thinks.”
“Nope, you’re staying right here.” Jared put his foot between her and the pathway to the door. “We have pizza to order and a movie to watch.”
YN’s face fell.
“Gen is having a self-care night anyway. She’s had a long week. You can ask her later.”
His niece grumbled and sat back down.
“Fine,” she huffed.
After an evening of fun activities, Jensen was still not home. Jared spent the night at the Ackles’ home because of it.
“I’m fourteen! I’ll be fine! Plus, you guys live next door, and I have my radio you gave me.”
She dangled the two-way radio in front of him.
“I told your dad I would. It’s fine.”
During the night, he heard her coughing from her room.
“Hey, you okay?” He knocked lightly and slowly opened the door.
“Yeah,” YN rasped.
He walked closer to her as she coughed again.
Jared felt her forehead.
“Yikes,” he hummed to himself. “Where is the humidifier? Take off all those blankets, it will help with your fever.”
“I don’t have a fever.” YN turned away from him. “I’m fine.”
“Wrong answer. Let’s go, chop, chop.”
“The humidifier is in the hall closet.” YN coughed again.
“I’ll be right back.” Jared walked out of her room.
He heard her groan and cough all night long. The next morning, her dad was asleep in his room, but Jared was still on high alert for what she needed.
“Your dad got home super late last night. He’s resting. Would you like met to get you some tea?”
YN sat up in her bed.
“That would be great,” she whispered.
YN heard the sound of voices chatting from the kitchen.
Dad’s awake. And home.
YN smiled to herself.
“Here,” Jared slowly handed her a coffee mug with Sam Winchester on it.
“Of course you would choose that one,” YN grinned before turning away and coughing.
“I’m going to go home and have breakfast with Gen. Feel better,” he kissed the top of her head and exited the room.
A few minutes later, her dad rushed in with a wrinkled forehead and jaw clenched.
“Jared said you wanted to spill the tea! Why would you do that? It would make a mess and leave a stain!” Jensen crossed his arms and stood tall.
YN’s eyebrows scrunched as she tried to figure out what he was saying.
“I’m drinking the tea because my throat hurts. I have no reason to spill the-” YN giggled. “OH! It’s a saying, you weirdo! It means gossip!”
A look of relief washed over him. He pulled a chair close to her bed.
“And what’s that?”
“Your new girlfriend is shooting a movie here! I heard she wants to hang out with you while she is here.”
“Who?” Jensen sat up, confused.
“Danneel!”

Breaking Character pt5/?
Summary: You are the new cast member of 'The Boys' and you play Butcher's cousin and Soldier Boy's new love interest 'Solene'. You're introduced to the cast by the director at a dinner and you're seated next to Karl and Jensen to "bond".
Pairing: Jensen x reader
Warnings: SMUT, language, fluff
Jensen settled onto the couch beside you, close enough that the faint smell of his cologne mixed with popcorn and beer reached you, messing with your focus. He tossed the blanket casually over both your laps, shooting you a quick smirk like the shit-eating bastard he could be.
“Don’t hog the blanket. I’m trusting you with joint custody here.”
“Relax, Ackles. I’ll share,” you shot back, trying to play it cool as the weight of his thigh pressed lightly against yours.
The movie was already a trainwreck—shitty acting, worse CGI—and Jensen was making it all worse, laughing every time someone delivered a particularly bad line.
“Oh come the fuck on,” he groaned, pointing at the screen. “That dumbass didn’t just outrun a fucking fireball in sandals. Christ, I’ve seen better realism in goddamn cartoons.”
You snorted, shaking your head. “You’re the worst person to watch movies with.”
“And yet, here you are,” he teased, bumping his knee into yours beneath the blanket.
It was subtle. Too subtle.
You tried not to think about it—that his voice had dropped a little lower, or that he wasn’t watching the movie anymore. Because now you could feel his hand, resting casually under the blanket, fingers grazing the edge of your knee.
Innocent enough.
At first.
Until his hand moved just a little higher.
You stiffened, heart skipping a beat as you glanced at him, but he was still looking at the TV like he hadn’t just touched you. Like it was nothing.
“Jensen,” you said quietly, voice uneven.
“What?” he murmured, not looking at you. His thumb brushed a slow, deliberate circle against your thigh. “Something wrong?”
You sucked in a sharp breath. “What are you doing?”
“Nothing,” he said smoothly, though the ghost of a smirk played at his lips. “Just watching the movie. You?”
You glared at him, though it didn’t help. Not when his hand slid an inch higher, his fingertips casually moving along your almost soaking folds from over your jeans like he knew exactly what the fuck he was doing.
“Jensen.”
That earned his attention. He turned his head, green eyes locking onto yours, and damn if it didn’t knock the breath clean out of you. He looked you over slowly, gaze dipping from your mouth back up to your eyes, and there wasn’t a damn thing subtle about it.
“You want me to stop?” he asked softly, his voice low and gravelly, rough enough to send heat pooling low in your stomach.
You couldn’t answer. Didn’t want to.
“Didn’t think so,” he muttered, a smug edge in his tone as his hand moved again.
Under the blanket, his fingers moved in a circular motion, deliberate and slow, like he had all the time in the fucking world. You bit down on your lip, fingers digging into the couch cushion as he skimmed higher, he applied more force which made you squirm.
“Jesus Christ, Jensen” you breathed, your head dropping back against the couch.
He chuckled quietly, his free hand finding your jaw, coaxing your head to the side so you were facing him. “Careful, sweetheart. Saying my name like that’ll get you in trouble.”
“Fuck you,” you shot back, though it came out more breathless than you’d intended.
Jensen grinned like he’d won something, leaning in just close enough that his lips hovered above yours. “That an invitation?”
You were about to respond—about to close the gap and kiss the smug look off his face—when his goddamn phone started ringing.
He froze, a low groan escaping him as he dropped his head to your shoulder. “You’ve got to be fucking kidding me.”
You let out a half-laugh, half-sigh, not sure if you were relieved or disappointed. “Saved by the bell.”
“Don’t fucking remind me.” He grabbed his phone, glancing at the screen—and whatever frustration had been there vanished instantly. “It’s Danneel.”
You sat up straighter, trying to gather yourself as he answered, voice low and calm. “Hey, everything okay?”
You couldn’t hear her response, but Jensen’s features softened. “Yeah, no problem. I’ll come pick ‘em up.” He paused, nodding to himself. “Tell ‘em I’ll be there in ten.”
When he hung up, you looked at him, eyebrows raised. “The kids?”
“Yeah,” he sighed, scrubbing a hand over his face. “They wanna stay here tonight.”
You nodded, shifting awkwardly to stand. “I’ll, uh—I’ll get out of your way, then.”
Jensen looked at you like you’d just said something stupid. “No, you won’t.”
You blinked at him. “What?”
“You’re coming with me,” he said simply, grabbing his keys.
“To pick up your kids?”
“Yeah.” He turned back to you, smirk softening. “Look, I don’t want to leave things… weird. You don’t have to go home, and I could use the company.”
You hesitated, chewing on your lip. “Are you sure that’s a good idea?”
Jensen stepped closer, reaching out to tug you toward him by your hand. “Come on, trouble. You’ll survive.”
And with that, he pressed a kiss to your cheek—soft and lingering—before pulling back just enough to meet your eyes.
“Let’s go.”
The drive to Danneel’s was quiet, except for the hum of the radio and Jensen’s hand absentmindedly resting on your knee. You didn’t mind. You liked this version of him—calm, thoughtful, and utterly different from the brash Soldier Boy you were filming with.
When he pulled into the driveway, though, your nerves hit like a punch to the gut.
“I’ll wait here,” you said immediately, reaching for the door handle.
Jensen shot you a look. “Like hell you will.”
“I mean it, Jensen! It’s late, and your ex-wife doesn’t need to see me at her door—”
“She doesn’t care,” he cut you off with that easy confidence of his. “And the kids’ll want to see you.”
“The kids? JJ’s the only one who’s met me. Arrow and Zeppelin don’t even know I exist!”
“Well, they’re about to,” he said with a smug grin. Before you could argue, Jensen was out of the truck, already yanking open your door. “Get out, Y/N.”
“I hate you,” you grumbled, even as he took your hand and tugged you toward the house.
“No, you don’t,” he shot back, a little sing-song to his voice that you wanted to smack him for.
The porch light flicked on as you reached the steps, and you froze. “I’m not going to the door. I’m not.”
“You are.”
“Jensen—”
Too late. He knocked twice, holding your wrist just in case you made a break for it.
The door opened a moment later, revealing Danneel in an oversized sweatshirt and leggings, her red hair tied in a loose bun. Her sharp gaze flicked over to you, eyes narrowing just slightly as she crossed her arms.
“Jensen,” she said evenly. “Didn’t realize you were bringing company.”
Jensen didn’t even blink. “Figured it’d save a fight with JJ.”
At that, Danneel’s lips quirked—barely. “She’s been talking about Y/N nonstop. You made quite the impression.”
JJ’s voice rang out from somewhere inside the house. “DADDY? IS IT Y/N TOO?”
You smiled awkwardly, shrugging when Danneel glanced at you. “She’s persistent.”
Danneel arched an eyebrow. “She gets that from her father.”
Before you could respond, JJ came barreling down the hallway like a whirlwind, squealing in excitement when she spotted you. “Y/N! You’re here!”
“Hey, kiddo,” you said, crouching slightly as she threw herself into your arms. She clung to you like a monkey, babbling about everything she’d done that day, her tiny voice excited.
“You’re really coming to Daddy’s house? Are you gonna stay?”
“Just for a bit,” Jensen cut in quickly, ruffling JJ’s hair as he grabbed her backpack off the floor. “Go grab your brother and sister, yeah? We gotta go.”
JJ nodded, shooting off like a rocket, and you stood up just in time to see Danneel watching the whole thing with a carefully neutral expression. Her eyes lingered on you a moment longer than felt necessary, like she was trying to read you.
“So,” she said finally, leaning against the doorframe. “You’ve met JJ already.”
You nodded, forcing a smile. “Yeah, she came to set with Jensen once. She’s… a firecracker.”
“She is,” Danneel agreed, her gaze flicking to Jensen like she wasn’t sure what to make of this situation. “Arrow and Zep are a little shy. They haven’t met a lot of people from his work.”
“They’ll warm up,” Jensen said casually, already stepping back with the bag. “Come on, trouble,” he said, nodding to you. “Let’s load this circus into the truck.”
You turned quickly, catching Danneel’s lingering glance one more time, though she didn’t say anything. Instead, she gave a curt nod. “Nice to see you again, Y/N.”
“You too,” you managed, though you couldn’t shake the feeling you were under a microscope.
JJ climbed into the backseat first, her little chatter filling the truck as she bounced excitedly. A moment later, Arrow and Zeppelin followed behind her, moving at a slower, more cautious pace. Zeppelin, with his messy dark hair and serious eyes, clutched a toy dinosaur in one hand and his blanket in the other. Arrow—confident and curious—tugged at the pink bow in her hair as she studied you.
“That’s her,” JJ declared, twisting in her seat to point at you like she was presenting a celebrity. “That’s Y/N! I told you she’s pretty!”
“JJ,” Jensen muttered, shooting his oldest a look, though you caught the tiny smile he was fighting off.
Arrow climbed into her booster seat, still watching you, her head tilted like she was deciding something very important. “You’re the one from Daddy’s work?”
“Yep, that’s me,” you said gently, smiling as you turned to face her. “I’m on the show with your dad.”
She narrowed her eyes, unconvinced. “Do you fight people too?”
“Not as well as your dad does,” you admitted, biting back a laugh. “He’s pretty tough to beat.”
Arrow huffed, unimpressed. “Daddy says he’s the best, but he’s not.”
Jensen groaned. “Arrow—”
“Mom says I’m the best,” she finished, ignoring him completely.
“That’s because you are,” Jensen muttered under his breath, shooting you a look like please don’t encourage her.
You grinned. “I bet you are.”
Zeppelin finally climbed in beside his sister, his blanket tucked under his chin like it was armor. He stared at you quietly for a moment, his toy dinosaur clutched tight. “What’s your name?” he asked softly.
“Y/N,” you said, lowering your voice to match his. “And you’re Zeppelin, right?”
His eyes widened in surprise, and he nodded. “How’d you know?”
“I’ve heard a lot about you,” you replied with a wink. “Your sister, too.”
Zeppelin glanced at Arrow, who had already decided she was over the conversation and was flipping through JJ’s coloring book. After a beat, he offered you the dinosaur in his hand. “This is Rexy.”
Your heart melted a little at the gesture. “He’s cool,” you said, taking a closer look. “Does Rexy fight Soldier Boy too?”
Zeppelin shook his head firmly. “No. Soldier Boy’s too mean. Rexy doesn’t like him.”
“I don’t blame him,” you said seriously. “He’s not very nice, is he?”
“Nope,” Zeppelin agreed, leaning back in his seat with a yawn.
Jensen looked at you then, a softness in his expression that you hadn’t seen before. “You’re a natural, trouble,” he murmured, just low enough for you to hear.
You glanced at him with a raised brow. “Told you I’m good with kids.”
“Yeah, yeah,” he teased, reaching over to rest his hand on your knee again as he started the truck.
“Wait,” Arrow piped up suddenly, looking suspicious again. “Is she coming to our house?”
“She’s just tagging along,” Jensen replied easily, though you could see the corner of his mouth twitch.
Arrow narrowed her eyes, clearly not buying it. Zeppelin, on the other hand, didn’t seem to care—he was already dozing off with Rexy tucked under his arm.
“You’re lucky,” JJ whispered to you conspiratorially, leaning as close as her seatbelt would allow. “Arrow doesn’t like most people.”
“I’ll take that as a win,” you said, smiling as you looked back at her.
Jensen shot you another glance, his expression warmer than you’d ever seen. “You’re doing alright, Y/N. Keep it up.”
“Don’t get used to it, Ackles,” you teased, though you couldn’t hide the way your smile lingered.
Jensen had just come back from putting the twins to bed, his face a little more relaxed now that the kids were settled. But before he could even sit down, JJ’s voice floated from the hallway, loud and demanding.
“Daddy!” she called out. “Come tuck us in! And bring Y/N!”
You exchanged a look with Jensen, who sighed dramatically, but there was warmth in his eyes. “Can’t get a break, huh?” he muttered, standing up and holding his hand out to you. “You coming?”
You rolled your eyes but took his hand, letting him pull you toward the kids' rooms. “I guess I’m in this now too, huh?” you teased, letting the soft laughter fall from your lips.
Jensen shot you a grin as he led you down the hallway, the sound of JJ’s excited voice growing louder as you approached. When you reached the room, JJ was sitting up in her bed, her hair mussed from sleep, and she grinned widely when she saw you.
“Y/N! I want a kiss too,” she said, her eyes twinkling with mischief.
Arrow, who was already under her covers, turned her head to look at you. “Yeah, me too. You should give us both a kiss on the forehead,” she added, serious but with a hint of a smile.
Jensen chuckled, stepping into the room with a slight shake of his head. “You’re lucky I love you both so much,” he said, bending down to give JJ a kiss on the forehead before doing the same for Arrow.
You stood awkwardly by the door, but when both of the girls turned expectantly toward you, you couldn’t help but feel a soft smile tug at your lips. “Alright,” you said, walking over to their beds. You crouched beside Arrow first, gently brushing the hair away from her face before placing a soft kiss on her forehead.
Arrow closed her eyes, a smile spreading across her face as she snuggled deeper into the blankets. “Thanks, Y/N,” she whispered, her voice soft with sleep.
You turned toward JJ, who was eagerly waiting her turn. You leaned down, placing a kiss on her forehead as well. She grinned up at you. “I like you, Y/N,” she said before pulling the covers up to her chin.
Jensen chuckled, a deep, low sound that seemed to rumble from his chest. “You’re lucky they like you,” he said softly, glancing at you with a warm smile as you stood back up.
“Well, I’m definitely lucky they’re adorable,” you replied with a grin.
He leaned against the doorframe, his hand still resting casually on your back as he took in the sight of his kids peacefully settling down. There was a quiet tenderness about him now, something you hadn't seen before in the whirlwind of moments you’d spent together. His usual swagger was replaced with something deeper—more vulnerable, but incredibly real.
“Thanks for that,” he murmured, his hand briefly brushing against your lower back as you turned to walk out of the room. He kept you close, his fingers lightly tracing the fabric of your shirt as he guided you out of the kids' room.
As you walked down the hallway, the noise of the rest of the house faded away, leaving the two of you alone in the quiet. His hand found yours, his fingers interlacing with yours in that familiar, comforting way. The lingering softness of the moment, the kisses shared with his kids, seemed to draw the two of you closer together in a way that made your heart race.
You turned to him then, offering a playful smile. “I guess I’m officially part of the family now, huh?”
Jensen smirked, but there was something in his eyes that told you it wasn’t just the kids he wanted to keep close. “You’re damn right you are, trouble.”
And with that, the door to something deeper between you two was left wide open.
You could feel the electricity between you again, stronger now, pulling you in. The moment you'd shared on the couch, the playful touches, the teasing words—it had all led to this. You couldn’t deny the anticipation that had built up, the way your body seemed to hum when he was near.
Jensen opened his bedroom door, his hand brushing lightly across your back as he ushered you inside. His place was cozy, the room reflecting his calm yet rugged nature. The soft glow of a bedside lamp illuminated the space, the bed perfectly made, though you could already imagine the disarray it would soon be in.
He shut the door behind him, and without saying a word, he reached out and grabbed your hand. There was a sense of urgency to his touch, but also something gentle, almost like he was waiting for you to give him permission.
“Remember when we were on the couch earlier?” Jensen asked, his voice low, eyes locking onto yours as he took a slow step closer.
“Yeah,” you replied, swallowing slightly, your heart racing in your chest. “I remember.”
“Good,” he murmured, his breath steady but heated. “I didn’t forget. I just… I want to pick up where we left off, Y/N. I need to.”
The intensity in his voice made the hairs on your arms stand up. There was no pretense here, no games, just raw honesty. You could see it in his eyes—the way he was waiting for you to let go, to give him that little push forward.
You nodded, a faint smile tugging at your lips as you stepped closer to him. The heat between you two was undeniable, and it had been building up ever since that first kiss. There was no turning back now.
Jensen took another step forward, closing the distance between you. His hands found your waist, his fingers pressing into the soft fabric of your shirt as he pulled you against him. His lips were on yours in an instant, deep and hungry, his mouth taking yours like it was something he’d been craving all night. You melted into him, the kiss slow but filled with a simmering heat.
His hands slid down your back, his grip firm but tender as he guided you toward the bed. “God, you’re driving me crazy,” he murmured against your lips, his breath ragged. “I need you so damn much, Y/N.”
You gasped as his lips trailed down your neck, his hands slowly lifting your shirt. “Jensen…” you whispered, your hands finding the buttons of his shirt, undoing them one by one.
“I know,” he murmured, lifting his head to look at you. His gaze was dark, filled with desire, but there was also a tenderness to it. “I know you need it too. But I want to take my time with you. I want to make this last.”
He leaned in, kissing you again, this time deeper, more desperate. His hands moved to your back, lifting your shirt in one smooth motion. He paused, his fingers grazing over your skin, before looking at you again with an almost smoldering intensity.
“Damn, you’re beautiful,” he whispered, his voice low as he let his hands explore the curves of your body. His lips followed the path of his hands, leaving soft, heated kisses as he moved lower, trailing down your collarbone and to your chest. He undid your bra with one hand quicker than you could with two.
Your body shivered at the sensation, every part of you coming alive under his touch. You let out a soft gasp, your hands threading through his hair as you pulled him closer, needing more. You could feel the warmth of his skin, the way he seemed to burn just for you, and it made your pulse race faster. His mouth trailed down your collarbone, to your chest, then finally your tits, he grabbed one and took it in his mouth while the slowly massaged the other one and let his finger rub your nipple which made you shiver.
“Jensen…” you breathed, your voice thick with need. “I want this.”
He grinned against your skin, pulling back for just a moment to look at you. “Are you sure?” His voice was teasing but serious, his eyes searching yours for any hint of hesitation. You tugged at his shirt and he undid every button before ripping it off himself.
You nodded, your hands pushing at the waistband of his jeans, urging him closer. “I’m sure.” His mouth took yours so quick, it was rough and filled with desire and lust. Your hands went lower and felt his bulge, you slowly moved your hand around it, cupping it with force. That earned you a groan from him and you quickly undid his button and zip.
His hands moved to your hips, guiding you back onto the bed. He pushed you on the bed and kicked his jeans to the side, leaving him in his boxer briefs, your eyes trailed down his pecs, abs, v-line and then his bulge, you bit your lip in anticipation as he pulled your jeans off you and hovered over you, his lips found yours as your tongues explored each others mouths hungrily. His hand grabbed the hem of your underwear and his slid his hand in between your folds which were so wet you saw him smirk.
"We haven't even started and you're already dripping for me" he whispered, his voice rugged and low. You arched your back as he slipped one finger in without a warning "Jensen!" you bit back a scream. He just kissed you and added another finger, making you moan against his mouth.
Suddenly you hear crying from one of the kids rooms. You both quickly stop. "Give me a shirt" you look at him as he walks over to his closet. He comes back, dressed in shorts and a t-shirt and hands you a sleeveless black shirt with some kinda print on it. You were literally drowning in it, thankfully it covered you till your knees.
You quickly followed, your heartbeat racing as you heard the frantic wails coming from the room down the hall. There was a slight panic in Jensen’s expression as he sprinted toward his son’s room, his bare feet barely making a sound on the floor. You couldn’t help but follow him, not wanting to stay behind.
As you reached the door, you saw Jensen already kneeling by Zeppelin’s bedside, his hand rubbing his son’s back soothingly. Zeppelin, still wearing his pajama shirt, was sobbing into his pillow, his small body shaking with distress.
“Hey, buddy, it’s okay,” Jensen said softly, his voice calm but laced with a bit of concern. He gently rubbed Zeppelin’s back, trying to comfort him. “Daddy’s here.”
Zeppelin didn’t respond immediately, his sobs only slightly quieting as he clung to his pillow. Jensen shot you a quick glance over his shoulder, silently asking if you were okay. You nodded, but you could tell there was something deeper going on, a sadness that still lingered in the little boy’s eyes.
You moved closer, kneeling down next to Jensen and placing a hand gently on Zeppelin’s back. “Hey, Zeppelin,” you said softly, your voice calm and soothing, “everything’s okay. We’re right here, okay?”
Zeppelin sniffled, his teary eyes peeking up at you. His gaze was filled with confusion and sadness, his small body still trembling as he clutched at the edge of his blanket.
“Daddy,” he whimpered, his voice shaky. “I’m scared.”
Jensen’s heart melted, and without a second thought, he pulled Zeppelin into his arms, holding him tightly. “You’re okay now, buddy. You’re safe,” Jensen murmured into his son’s hair, rubbing his back in slow, comforting circles.
Zeppelin buried his face in Jensen’s chest, his sobs slowly quieting as he found solace in his father’s embrace. You watched them both, feeling a sense of warmth as you stood by the door, letting the moment unfold. There was no question in your mind now—Jensen was an incredible father. The way he responded so naturally to his son’s distress, the tenderness with which he held him, it was hard not to admire him even more.
Jensen looked up at you, his expression softening as he gave you a small, apologetic smile. “Sorry about this,” he whispered, though you could hear the love in his voice as he spoke to Zeppelin. “You okay now, buddy?”
Zeppelin nodded against his father’s chest, wiping his eyes with the back of his hand. “Yeah… just had a bad dream…”
“You’re safe now, I promise,” Jensen whispered, brushing Zeppelin’s hair back. “You wanna stay with me for a little while?”
Zeppelin nodded again, snuggling deeper into Jensen’s arms, still holding onto him tightly. Jensen shot you another glance, his expression both apologetic and thankful, before looking back down at his son.
“Alright,” Jensen said, his voice barely a whisper now. “Let’s get you tucked in, okay?”
You smiled softly as you stood there, watching the scene unfold. You didn’t want to intrude, but you couldn’t help but feel a tenderness in your chest as you observed the bond between father and son. Jensen wasn’t just a guy you were getting to know—he was a dad. And as much as the intimacy had been tempting, you knew this was what really mattered to him.
Jensen finally lifted Zeppelin back into bed, pulling the blanket up around him as he continued to speak softly. “I’ll stay with you for a little while, alright?”
Zeppelin’s face, still a little flushed from crying, finally softened as he nodded and settled back down. “Thanks, Daddy…”
Jensen leaned over, pressing a soft kiss to his son’s forehead. “Anytime, buddy. I’m right here.”
You took a step back, quietly retreating from the doorway as you let father and son have their moment. There was no hurry, no rush. You understood why things had changed, why the night had taken an unexpected turn. It was moments like these that defined Jensen—a man who was fully invested in his family, in being there for his kids, no matter what.

Warnings : family fight, fear of abandonment.
A/N : when given multiple choices, choose all of them hehe. Enjoiiiiiiiiiii ❣️
-------
"Mornin' honey!"
Danneel, is she really abandoning you or are you just obsessing over the idea?..Not sure.
For the past few weeks, you've been obsessing over that question-and the more time goes by, the louder your brain screams it and the heavier it weighs on your shoulders.
"Hey, sweetheart"
You instantly recognize the voice and turn around. "Uncle Jared-Hii-It's been a while!" Enthusiasm fills your voice and Jared spreads his arms wide for you to jump into. "How are you doing?"
"I've been swamped with work, how've you been, honey?"
How i've been? The words somehow snap you back to your own reality, and all that enthusiasm almost fully melts and you're about to be zone out again when your dad speaks.
"What about me, why do i not get a hug?" He continues. "You know that these days, i talk to her a lot less than i do when i'm elsewhere in the world. Comes morning and wooosh." He swings his hand like a bat. "She's gone." Your dad grabs ahold of your head and ruffles your hair, causing you to roll your eyes, hauling your head away with more force than you would've liked.
"Maybe she's got a new boooooyfriend or someone that she needs to spend time with, huh." Jared smirks, saving you from what was to come.
You tug your hands into your pocket. "Childish. And maybe she does." You raise your eyebrows. "And today's no different-"
"uh-"
Your uncle's eyes turn wide, and you slowly step back. "Sorry uncle Jared." You shrug your shoulders, turning on your heels.
"But-i had so many plans for us."
"Sooooorry." And as you wave them goodbye and close the door behind you, your heart stings. You miss your uncle to death, it's been a while since the last you saw him, and whenever you do, it's the best day ever for you. You watch movies, tell stories, ask for advice, cook.
But you can't do that today, that thing with Danneel hangs heavy in your heart and you feel that- it'll be too obvious, in your eyes, in your voice, everything. So you halfheartedly choose to go. Whatever, right? Uncle Jared can come back another day.
---
Back in your neighborhood, you snoop around the house, looking for your uncle's car, which turns out not to be there. You exhale a breath. Good. Now you can enter the house-small talk-pretend like you have to call your best friend and fly away.
But when as you opened the door to the house, laughter and noise fill the room, causing your heart to sink to your stomach
"Oh-finally. I'm honored to finally be good enough for her." You recognize your father's sarcastic tone and all you can do is puff. As you round a corner to the kitchen, you force a smile, readying yourself to pretend.
"Hi, honey." Danneel smiles and you smile back at her.
"Hey! Uncle Jared-where's your car?" You go straight to the point, surprising everyone and given the looks on your parents faces, it's not the good kind of surprise.
"it-uhhhh...it-your dad drove me here."
"Oh." You say. "Okay." The words are so blank you find yourself crossing your arms over your chest. Who are you protecting yourself from? Yourself?
"What's it with you these days, kid?" Your father takes on a slightly aggressive tone, one you hear very rarely, causing you to step back a discreet bit. "You don't spend time with us anymore, you don't eat with us-" He pauses for an aggressive second. "Don't think we didn't notice you staying up all night."
You sigh and gradually, your thoughts are louder than external noise. You would do all those things, it's not like you hate them. But-but-it's your mom. It's Danneel. She might be on her way out of your life, and how's that going to affect you? Has she thought about what that would do to you? She might be leaving. She might leave at any moment, in fact, she might be thinking about that right now.
"You know we work-right." Your father's bitter voice yanks you back to life and you realize-your eyes are stinging.
"Danneel could be gone for months and this is what you do about it-"
Those words burn at your soul, casting a even more worried look on your face.
"Jensen, calm down." Danneel butts in but that worry had already melted into anger.
"OH I BET SHE CAN'T WAIT TO LEAVE. JUST LIKE THE OTHER ONE DID."
A mixture of your name-in a growling raging voice- and a gasp coming from Danneel is all you hear as you sprint upstairs to your room. You kick the door closed and sit on the bed. What have i done what have i done-She deserved it-She will leave-but what if-
"Sweetie-"
A gasp fills the room as fear sets in.
"it's uncle Jared. I'm coming in, okay?"
Your shoulders slouch in relief. And as soon as your uncle enters the room, tears start streaming down your face.
As Jared sits beside you, he places his hand on your back, swinging left and right in the gentlest manner. "What...What was that all about, y/n?" He sounds hesitant but he proceeds. "You know all that wasn't true, none of it-"
You shrug. Because you don't know!!!! You don't know if it's true or not. "I just...I....I-" You burst into tears. "I don't know anything, uncle Jared, i don't know anything anymore."
"Well...Would you be willing to discuss your not knowing with your mom and dad?"
You shrug, leaning back on the bed to snatch a pillow and bring it over your thighs and in the meantime, your uncle leaves the room and a few moments later, your parents are there.
You lower your head down in shame. "It's not that i'm staying up all night, dad..I just can't sleep." You start just as they come in the room.
"Well-is that why you're actin-"
"NO."
"Then wh-what was that, baby?" Your dad seems to have calmed down. And you thank god for that.
You'd shrug once more but that wouldn't do much this time, so you breathe in and speak. "I....I'm scared." You bring the pillow to your chest.
"Of what?"
"Mo-Danneel...leaving"
Danneel sighs before you get to finish your sentence. "Where'd you get this from, honey? Why would you think that?"
Why would i think that? You scoff. "Well-" You whip your head to the side, locking eyes. "My real mom left, why wouldn't you?"
Danneel jerks her head back in surprise, replying with a finger to her eyebrow-to calm herself down. "Honey-Uh-Honey i would never." A thread of pain runs through her voice. And swiftly, she steps off the bed and kneels in front of you. You startle but-You don't show it.
"I wouldn't do that to you-Look me in the eyes, y/n" she commands in the softest tone and your eyes meet hers. "I love you I love you. I would never be able to live without you honey i would nnnnever."
Tears pool at your eyes again and you're in no state of mind to control yourself. "You mean that?" You ask, sniffing to stop the snot from running down your nose.
"I absolutely do!" Her voice is unshakably certain, resulting in the emergence of a tiny smile on your face. "I'm staying here- i'm not going anywhere. I promise you." She rests her hand on top of yours. "Okay?!"
You need a moment to let it all sink in, so you just keep quiet.
"Okay?" But Danneel breaks the silence, insisting on an answer.
And you do believe her-It's not like you don't! You very much do. So you do answer.
"Okay."

The Celebrity Next Door: Chapter 1 - Welcome to the Neighborhood
Pairings: Jensen Ackles x Reader (Written in first person, but with Y/N)
Series Summary: Y/N's life takes an unexpected turn when she moves next door to Jensen Ackles, a famous actor navigating life post-divorce. Their initial awkward encounter over a broken window leads to a budding friendship, navigating the challenges of celebrity life and forging meaningful connections in their neighborhood.
Chapter Summary: Y/N, a New Yorker adjusting to life in Los Angeles, finds herself entangled with her neighbor Jensen Ackles and his daughter Katie after a baseball mishap leads to unexpected connections and new beginnings in their shared neighborhood.
A/N: Okay, so it may be weird but I'm writing this in first person POV, but the name will be changed to Y/N. Might be annoying, but it's easier for the story. Thank you!
Series Masterlist here!! & Main masterlist here!
The sun beamed through the bay window of my living room, filling the air with the chirping of birds and scurrying of squirrels. It was a surprisingly joyful sound that welcomed me on my first real day in Los Angeles—a city I had dreaded joining.
Maybe my initial judgments were coloured by my New York roots; after all, I was unquestionably a city girl. I've always found comfort in the sounds of the city; cars honking, people scattered everywhere living their lives-that was the life I was used to. As much as I was excited about the new chapter of my life, there were qualities of LA that would take some getting used to, things that puzzled me.
Like why was it always so damn bright here? The sky, the buildings, the houses-all of it seemed to glow with an intensity that demanded sunglasses just to step outside. And why were the houses so enormous? It seemed ridiculous. I only need a bed, a bathroom and a kitchen yet here I was in what they called a condo, but felt more like a mansion with its space.
But despite my initial objection to LA’s charms, I couldn’t deny the peacefulness of the palm-tree-lined streets and the birdsong that greeted me each morning in a way New York never could.
I rolled onto my side, glanced at my phone, and sighed. 10:00 am already. There was still so much unpacking to do, and no one to help.
These first days were going to be busy. Pushing myself off the less-than-comfortable bed, I shuffled to the kitchen where the only thing I had set up so far was my Keurig machine. Leaning on the counter, I patiently awaited that first magical cup of morning coffee. Glancing outside, I squinted at the brilliant sunlight that threatened to overwhelm me. Seriously, why was it so damn bright here?
The coffee machine groaned, signaling it was ready. I turned to grab my mug when a sudden crash shattered the quiet. Instinctively, I dropped to the ground.
Peeking slowly over the counter, I discovered the cause—a baseball sitting right there on my kitchen floor, glass scattered everywhere around it.
I chuckled softly and shook my head. One thing I wouldn’t miss about New York: the reflex to duck for cover at every unexpected noise.
Moments later, the doorbell rang, nearly sending me into cardiac arrest. I approached guardedly, peeking through the side windows. A little girl stood on my porch, her expression guilt-ridden.
I opened the door, looked around for a parent nearby before crouching down to her eye level. “Hi there. Can I help you?”
Her small hands fidgeted with her zipper nervously. “I… I accidentally hit your window with my baseball. It’s inside your house.”
I smiled warmly. “It’s okay. What’s your name sweetie?”
Her eyes glanced up slightly, a light sniffle coming from her nose. “Katie."
“Well, Katie, I’m Y/N. Let’s go get your ball, alright? Are your parents around?”
She looked around and shook her head. “My daddy’s inside. Mommy’s not here.”
I nodded, retrieving the ball and returning to find Katie waiting patiently on the porch. I couldn’t help but giggle at her adorableness. Despite the broken window, I looked forward to having children around, filling the street with laughter and play.
Carefully navigating the scattered glass, I handed Katie her ball. She beamed up at me as I closed and locked the door behind us. “Where’s your house? I’ll take you back to your dad.”
Katie pointed to a massive white house next to mine, surrounded by a high fence and perfectly kept lawn which only peaked my curiosity.
Following Katie to her gate, I watched her disappear inside the house quickly, calling for her dad to come to the door. I waited patiently and suddenly anxiety filled my chest at the concept of meeting my new neighbour in this way.
It took a few minutes, but finally the little girl returned with a larger figure I could barely see from where I was standing. He approached the door and with every step he took towards the light, the more my breath got caught in my throat.
I knew him—or at least recognized him from somewhere. His piercing green eyes met mine, and suddenly it clicked: Jensen Ackles. I struggled to maintain composure, reminding myself he was just a person like me, despite my heart threatening to burst from my chest.
“Can I help you?” His voice was direct, cutting through my nerves.
I managed a polite smile, trying to gather my thoughts. “Hi... I just moved in next door. Your daughter accidentally threw a baseball into my kitchen window, and she came over to...”
“Katie!” His sharp voice interrupted, causing me to jump. He turned to his daughter, arms crossed. “What did I tell you about throwing the baseball around? This is the third time this month!”
Katie’s eyes dropped, on the verge of tears. I wanted to comfort her or maybe scold Jensen, but I knew nothing about parenting. Still, seeing him yell at her harshly made my anxiety rise.
The worst part of this whole situation though, was the way he was glaring into my soul, arms still crossed, a deep frown on his face. It felt like the very essence of my being was completely ruining his day.
He sighed, leaning against the doorway with a hint of apology in his eyes. “Is that all, or is there something else?”
I faltered, sensing his impatience. “Uh, no, that’s it, I guess.”
“Okay. Thanks, bye.” With that, the door closed, leaving me staring at the wooden texture of my first celebrity encounter.
As I walked back to my house, I couldn't stop the sadness that crept in. It was my first day, and it had already started roughly. I wondered if I would ever warm up to this place.
An hour later, most of my boxes were unpacked, clothes neatly put away away, and a single family photo hung in the hallway that was taken at a family reunion over a year ago. Our family wasn't the photo taking type, and that's one thing I vowed to change, because as I stared at the empty wall with the lone photograph, I felt sad.
But when I looked around my spacious new home, I felt a sense of relief. The morning’s drama and anxiety had faded away.
I grabbed my coffee and stepped onto the front porch, sinking into the swing that came with the house. Examining the neighborhood, I noticed kids playing—biking, rollerblading, and drawing with chalk.
My gaze landed on Jensen’s front yard. Katie was there, playing with a little boy who looked just like him. Jensen was noticeably absent, which didn’t surprise me.
I headed out to collect my mail, when I heard a familiar voice calling my name. My heart warmed as Katie waved at me from her yard. Returning her wave with a smile, I realized maybe I wouldn’t hate this place after all.
Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed it! Chapter 2 coming soon stay tuned!

-- 2017 --
Filming is tiring and we finally hit a free weekend. No conventions, no shooting, and Jared, Jensen, and Misha decided to stay in Vancouver. We were in Jensen's apartment. Feeling nice and tingly when Jared suggested a drinking game, two truths, and a lie.
"So," Jared started, about 5 shots into our little drinking game "y/n, truth or dare?"
"That's not even the game we're playing!" Misha says, his third shot in his hand.
"Shhhhhhh." Jensen whispered, too far gone for discretion or grace, "Let it happen,"
Your head is pounding already, "Fine, I choose truth." You said, preparing yourself to take another shot.
"Out of the three of us here, who would you rather knot?" Jared asked, a smirk forming on his face.
You couldn't think straight. You realized too late that it'd have been better to just take the shot instead of answering. "Jensen, he smells the best."
Both Misha and Jared started wooing and cheering. Jensen took another sip of his beer while blushing.
"But why not me?" Jared asked, throwing you his puppy dog eyes.
"Because you're annoying," Misha answered before me.
"And you stink!" I added before taking another shot.
The entire night was a haze the next morning. Everyone was hungover and wanted to go back to bed. But Jensen remembered what you said about knotting him and he pondered what you meant by that for years.
-- 2023, The Boys season 2 set--
"You're close to your rut," Jensen says as he walks up behind you.
"How would you know, tracking it?" You asked sarcastically, grabbing a plate and a mini powdered doughnut.
"I talked to Misha, you've been irritable the whole day." Jensen follows suit and grabs a powdered doughnut.
"And why are you talking to Misha about my rut?" you asked between bites.
"Because he lives with you and because I know about your… arrangement." Jensen says as he takes his first bite.
"Cryptic. Now if you’re done here we have a fight scene to shoot." You dismiss the conversation, and walk away, leaving Jensen with his unfinished doughnut.
After filming for the day, Jensen comes up to you at your apartment.
"When I opened the door I thought you'd have more clothes on." You say as Jensen greeted you, only wearing his Soldier Boy robe.
"May I?" Jensen asks motioning to enter.
"Why not," You shrug, opening the door a little more to allow Jensen to walk in before closing it. Looking at him you wonder what he's here for.
"You need someone to help you with your rut. You’re too old to go through a rut yourself." Jensen says with the utmost sincerity. There it is.
"Old?! I'm four years younger than you! And what do you know about alphas and ruts? I've gone almost my whole life dealing with my rut myself," You cross your arms like a defiant five-year-old.
"I know that every time you’ve dealt with it alone you've come out the other end looking worse than shit." Jensen pinched the bridge of his nose, "I know it’s harder for you to deal with it yourself, so let me help you." Jensen grabbed your hand and squeezed it, "I talked to Danneel and Misha, they both agreed to let me help you. Don't be stubborn, please." Jensen kissed your knuckles and then stared into your eyes waiting for an answer.
"You have no idea what you’re getting yourself into." You caress his cheek with your other hand, "It's not a pleasant experience. I won't be me. I'm animalistic, borderline violent, during my rut…" You turn away, looking anywhere but his eyes.
"I'll be fine," As Jensen pulls you in for a hug, you take a deep inhale. He smells like firewood, vanilla, and sea water.
"Are you- did you- you couldn't have…" You press your bodies closer so you can smell it better, "You're wearing Omega perfume!"
"Since I came here." Jensen chuckles and starts petting your hair as you nuzzle into the crook of his neck, "My little alpha,"
You back Jensen against the wall suddenly. "Careful Jen, you shouldn't say that unless you mean it." Your eyes were completely red, the rut hit you like a freight train after smelling the omega perfume. "It's dangerous."
"I like dangerous… Alpha."
You swiftly strip off Jensen's robe as well as your t-shirt before crashing your lips together. He tastes like mint and vanilla. Jensen quickly undoes your belt and pulls down your jeans before you flip him against the wall. You start kissing down Jensen's back painfully slow. Taking your time to kiss his shoulder blades, and his lats. God was he beautiful, and built like a brick shit house to boot. You made sure to run your tongue down his spine before reaching his magnificent ass. You took your time massaging each cheek before spreading them apart to get to your prize.
You licked his ass hole and he moaned like a wanton whore. It was primal and guttural like he'd been waiting for this. You let your hands squeeze his hips as you licked him again, and again, and again, until he started begging you to do more. You had the tip of your tongue pressed against his ass hole but not penetrating.
"Fuck me!" He sounded gruff and demanding.
You slowly pushed your tongue into his warm hole, circling as much area as you could. Jensen pushed his ass back into your face, wanting you to go deeper, explore more. Your tongue kept the same rhythm, in and out, in and out, getting him all nice and wet. When you pulled your tongue away, he started whimpering before you pushed a finger into him.
"God, want more, need more"
His hips started moving when you added a second finger. Spreading his ass open with both fingers, getting him prepped to take you. When you added a third finger his head rolled back and you felt his ass flutter around your fingers. He was ready.
You removed your fingers and got up from your knees. You flipped Jensen around so he was facing you. You grabbed the back of his thighs to lift him up and push his back against the concrete wall. Pinned between you and the wall, Jensen's ass was hovering over your dick.
"We can stop right now. We can forget this ever happened and go back to our normal lives." You whispered into his neck, still nuzzling where he put the perfume on.
"Alpha," That was all Jensen needed to say before you lowered him onto your dick. Jensen took a deep inhale once you were completely sheathed. "I never knew it would feel this good," Jensen panted. You growled and rested your forehead against his, giving both of you some time to adjust.
You kissed Jensen on the lips, then his cheek, then his neck, and then back up to his lips before you started thrusting. His ass felt like heaven and quenched the burning feeling in your body. Pulling out until only the tip was in before slowly thrusting back in. You kept that pace until Jensen wanted more.
"Faster, harder, I need more alpha!" God, that did something to you. You picked up the pace and you could feel your knot start to swell. Jensen was bouncing against the wall and you could feel his pre-cum leaking on your stomach. Both of your bodies burning hot and looking for release. "Right there, oh god, right there," Jensen moaned into your ear, and scratched down your back.
The pace was brutal and he was taking it beautifully. My Omega, my Omega, beautiful Omega, Omega, Omega, Omega. You bared your teeth against his neck.
"Alpha!" Jensen came and you could feel his cum against your chest. Jensen laid his head back against the wall, neck all exposed and sweaty as he was coming down from his high.
You barely refrained from claiming him as your knot popped and you came in him. Both of you coming down from your highs, you took him to your room and laid him onto your bed. Jensen closed his eyes as soon as his head hit the pillow. Both of you were exhausted and out of breath.
"Good night Jen," You kissed his forehead, "Thank you for this,"
" 's was amazing," Jensen grumbled back, cuddling into you, "love you."
"I love you too, now to to bed."

one
jared was certain, absolutely sure, completely convinced that alex, your boyfriend, popped the question. he was like, ten million percent sure. although he wasn't equipped with "evidence" per se, he started to pick up what he thought were tell-tale signs that gave him the impression that alex had put a ring on it.
the "veteran" supernatural actor was so sure of himself that, he told jensen and rob. telling them both that the proposal must have happened over the public holiday. the public holiday that, obviously, everyone but actors in vancouver had off.
"...just look at them, jensen! i swear to god, alex has proposed," jared almost squeals, watching the way you two were all over each other
"come on now, dude. you could be overreacting--"
"--in fairness, look at her left hand, she's clearly covering it. it has to be a ring," rob inserts, causing a slight scare for jared and jensen, worrying that you and alex could have overheard
"and how would you know, rob?" jensen sassed, jared's eyes widening as rob chuckled
"isn't it obvious, jensen? her left hand is hidden because she wants to tell us rather than us finding it out beforehand," rob touches his nose which makes jared and jensen giggle
however, it wasn't until gen, jared's wife, walked past that shut down the rumours of a potential supernatural wedding on its way
"you guys are crazy. the reason why she's hiding her left hand is because, if you guys really paid attention, you would know she has always rested her right hand over her left one. she isn't engaged and alex hasn't proposed to her. y'all are crazy sometimes i swear," gen chuckled, shaking her head which made jared and jensen down in the dumbs whereas rob just chuckled
it wasn't until after you and alex finished what it was you were doing that you realised that the entire time, jared, jensen, rob and gen had all been bickering. bickering about what they thought was your proposal that they had completely missed because it was done in secret.
in which, to clarify, did not happen. gen was right, the "tell" of you being engaged because you were hiding your left hand was false. you have always hidden your left hand by covering it with your right hand if you leave it resting on a table.
two
it was a wednesday, middle of the week and the cast of supernatural were all getting ready to finish up their work day. pleading for at least a full three-day weekend of rest. although alex was normally always flustered, this wednesday, he looked even more flustered then usual. it felt like he was running around like a headless chicken looking for something.
"you good, alcal? whatchu looking for?" jensen questioned, his head poking out from a wall as he was leaving the bunker set
"uh, yeah, i...um...i'm taking y.n for a weekend trip and i printed off our booking for it but, i can't seem to find it," he mutters as he continues to look for it
"ooh, that's exciting. where to, any particular reason why?" jensen teases as he moves to lean against the wall
stopping his search for a second, alex sighed in agitation, "down by the mountains cause i know she's always wanted to go there for ages. i booked a loft, i printed the booking info like moments ago and now i can't find it!" he was getting angrier and for once, jensen didn't want to instigate him
jensen smiles, noticing it was at a completely different printer, "this booking info?" he says as he picks it up and hands it to the younger actor who breathes a sigh of relief
"thank you so much, jensen! i l...you are my favourite person in the world right now other than y.n!" alex feels himself calm down which is when, of course, jensen instigates him with hints of a marriage proposal
"sooo, with the holiday getaway this weekend, what's it for...you know, anything special other than just because y.n's never been before?" jensen teased as alex turned back around and gave jensen what would be classified as a "stank face"
"umm, no...no...we're going because y.n's genuinely never gone to the mountains and i thought, we have the time and the money so, we're going for the weekend...why are you asking?" alex gave a look of confusion as jensen just nodded his head in embarrassment
jensen started backing away when alex ran after him, the booking for the holiday in his hands, "why are you asking, jensen? stop running away!" thankfully, jensen hadn't run too far as he laughed slightly
"umm, i just thought you guys were gonna come back with a special announcement but, don't worry, it's clearly not that and i apologise for jumping to a conclusion that is obviously not happening. have a great vacation you two. make sure you send us some photos after knowing that you won't be texting or calling us at all," jensen chuckled as that seemed to satisfy alex and he smiled back, nodding
"will do, jensen. the photos will be sent from y.n's phone not mine. have a good weekend yourself, don't do anything i wouldn't do," alex smiled, his bag across his shoulder as jensen smiled back
"i will, thanks. see you monday, hopefully tuesday but, we shouldn't be too sure because, as we know from past situations, our crew don't typically like to take vacations!" jensen chuckled as alex nodded his head before leaving whilst jensen didn't
and that was because, hidden away behind the wall where jensen was leaning against, was jared and rob, all waiting to see if jensen got the information about the "proposal".
"and, jensen? what did he say? will there be a ring on y.n's finger when they come back?" jared tried, a look of hope in his eyes as jensen just shook his head, rob chuckling
"nope, sorry buddy. just a vacation in the mountains because y.n's never been. and, before you ask, yes, i did subtly ask but, no, there will be no ring on her finger when they get back..." jensen trailed off as jared growled in annoyance as jensen and rob's eyes grew wide in shock
"...oh come on! i really thought it would be this time!" jared was truly devastated that his best friend wouldn't be getting proposed to as jensen and rob, again, giggled
"sorry buddy but, i think blondie's waiting for a specific day if he has even thought about it," rob shrugged as jensen nodded his head and left, leaving jared and jensen with one last thing
"and if he is, we shouldn't be pushing it or hounding him over it. he'll do it when they are both ready for it!" rob says whilst walking out of the office
jared and jensen share looks of, even though they hated it, they couldn't help but agree with rob's statement. if it hadn't happened this time and the time before, it's clear that it's not happening just yet. because, one, either alex and y.n haven't talked about it yet or, they simply aren't ready for it.
three
by the third time that jensen, jared and rob thought that alex proposed, gen, danneel and now rich was even watching, looking for any new tells. new tells that could possibly tell them if alex had proposed yet or not. and, obviously, because it's the supernatural cast, there is at least three different bets going on all at the same time. which makes no sense clearly but, to them it makes sense.
this time it was danneel that noticed something that could have been possibly a little off for alex. he had a little bag on his director's chair. whilst it wasn't out in plain sight, it wasn't being hidden either. so, danneel just decided to go for it and straight up ask him what it was.
"hey, alex, what's in the bag?" danneel questioned, a little giddy glint in her eye
alex smiled, making eye contact with danneel, "oh, um *shy chuckle* it's just an anniversary gift..." he trailed off nervously, hoping she wasn't close by
danneel felt her shoulders deflate. she knew she should have felt a little sad that it wasn't likely an engagement ring but, she still couldn't believe that it had so quickly got to their anniversary.
"what is it? some jewellery? what number anniversary is now, alex?" danneel no longer cared about the bet or the possibility of an engagement and wedding
she just cared that alex and y.n were still so head over heels in love with each other. even though she knew they'd never fall out of love with one another.
"oh, just a matching necklace and earrings set. we've been dating. for like, four years now. i remember overhearing from someone, it may have been gen or even jared that you never gift a partner a ring unless you plan to marry them. so, i decided to get her a matching emerald necklace and earrings because y.n's already got so many rings, not just her own but also ones that my mom has gifted her," alex smiled shyly as danneel's face lit up
"aw, that's so sweet. and happy four years, alex. four years is amazing. you and y.n should be so proud of that. and, good on you for deciding to not get a ring as i know so many people at the four year mark who would have gotten a ring and it turn out that they weren't ready to be married. you're really a smart man, alex. i'm sure y.n'll love the present," danneel smiled, ruffling his hair in pride for the young actor as alex chuckled, fixing his hair as danneel walked away
curious, of course, jensen and jared, gave her the look. and, danneel, with a sense of pride, shook her head no. again, jensen and jared were saddened but, when danneel, jensen's wife, explained, they felt a sense of pride wash over them. the same pride that washed over danneel that alex knew not to gift y.n a ring if it either wasn't a promise ring, engagement ring or a replacement ring for one that broke.
however, it was at this point, the third time that the cast thought that alex was going to propose that, he actually started planning it. obviously, it doesn't take long before rumours start to travel throughout the cast. so, it wasn't long before alex and even y.n began to hear of the rumours of the two young actors getting engaged. and, that was when the couple started to talk about it. because, like thought of as one of the reasons why it hasn't happened yet, alex and y.n just hadn't spoken about it. not because they didn't want to marry each other, they just hadn't spoken about it in proper detail. until now when they did start a conversation on it after a day of filming in the bunker set on their four-year-anniversary and they were each gifted four gifts each. and now, with the knowledge of his girlfriend's ring-size, he decided to ring up misha, because, like most people, alex would not have guessed that misha was in on all the rumours and the bets so, he asked him for advice.
let's just say that it was a struggle for the misha collins to keep a straight face when alex asked him if at some point during a free day of work that he could help him in finding an engagement ring for y.n. yet, misha managed to keep his cool and, obviously, didn't tell the rest of the cast who were in on the rumours and bets about it because, one, he didn't want to break alex's trust and two, whilst he did participate in cast rumours and bets, he would never rat out to the betters if he was on the other side.
four
it's a quiet and slow day when out of nowhere, like, complete nowhere. everyone, except for alex and y.n, rush into jared's trailer. worrying that something bad had happened like someone had been killed or arrested, it was confusing when they just all saw jared basically hyperventilating.
"...are you alright jared?" gen questions with worry, wondering why her husband was literally hyperventilating if no one had died or been arrested
"i...i think it's the day!" he struggles to say as the cast all look at each other in confusion
"what? you think it's the day? what day? it's a monday, jared, what could be so exciting about a monday?" danneel then questioned as jared bursted with another round of excitement which scared everyone
"but that's just it! i think it's happened! i really think alcal and y.n are engaged!" jared screeches with excitement as danneel shakes her head, jensen, gen, rob, rich and misha smile
"and why do you think that, dude?" jensen speaks up as jared squeals yet again
but, he doesn't say anything and misha's eyes widened, "what did you do, jared? what did you hack into?" he was worried that jared had somehow found out about the conversation he had with alex about him helping alex out with finding an engagement ring
"the hotel that they will be staying in for their belated four-year-anniversary..." jared backs up, trailing off of his sentence as no one notices the breath of relief that misha breathes out
"...wait, so you think he's gonna propose to her at a hotel, jared?" jensen questions in confusion
however, that was when you walked in and let's just say you were beyond confused.
"umm, who is going to propose to me where?" you blurted out as everyone's eyes widened
and no one spoke up. that was, until rob did and let's just say, he truly saved the day here, "oh, no one darling. we're just talking about the time i proposed to mollie in a hotel however many years ago it was..." he trailed off and everyone just hoped you believed it
and...you did. you didn't even question it and you should have cause you basically knew everything about all of your cast members. so, it confused the rest of the cast when you didn't question it.
"...oh, okay, cool, sorry, my bad. well, umm, if anyone's interested, alex has bought all of us some coffee so, we'll be waiting for you guys in the bunker set with it when y'all are ready!" you smiled as you left jared's trailer to alex who waited in the bunker set lot
as soon as everyone knew you were out of sight and out of hearing range, they all let out the heavy breaths that they had no idea they were holding on to.
"holy...lord jesus christ, how on earth did she believe that lie, rob?!" jared bursted out as giggles followed as did head shakes of shock and wide eyes
"i truly have no idea but, well done me i guess!" rob chuckled as everyone shortly followed after him as he left for his morning coffee that was waiting for him in the bunker set lot that for once, he didn't pay for
"yeah, well done you, rob! i seriously thought she wouldn't believe it but it shocked me more that she didn't question you," misha chuckled in bewilderment as rob patted his best friend's shoulder
afterwards, the cast realise that, whilst jared did "hack" into the hotel that you and alex were booked into for that night and the following weekend, that it wasn't because he was proposing to you. it was genuinely because you guys didn't get to celebrate your four-year-anniversary that was the third time that they thought a proposal was happening. so, instead, you guys were going to celebrate it on that friday and saturday instead.
five
it's this day, the fifth time that the cast thinks a proposal is gonna happen that it's misha that teases the group. sending the cast back at vancouver his location that he was in with alex.
"you guys will never guess where i am!" misha sniggers cheekily which earns some confusion from the cast who were basically bored out of the minds
with so much waiting around to do before filming, jensen almost groaned at his fellow cast member, "oh, i don't know, misha, are you by any chance, bullying a spoilt child?" he replies which earns a laugh from misha but also from the rest of the cast, including y.n, although it's obvious she wasn't paying attention
only laughing because everyone else was, misha knew it was the perfect time to tell the rest of the cast, "i'm at the jeweller with alex, and it's a fancy one," he smiles over the phone
"gold thanks, misha, silver makes me look discoloured," danneel jokes, shockingly not realising the situation after she started to pull away from the bets of wanting alex and y.n to get engaged
"good to know mrs ackles but, i'm here with alex because ages ago, when you guys thought for a third time that he was proposing to y.n he asked for help in my opinion on a certain piece he was looking to buy,"
that was when it clicks in danneel's but in everyone else's heads, jared slipping out of the chair, "wait, is this finally the day that it happens?" he just about whispers with his eyes wide and his hands already starting to perisperate
"i seriously think so guys. well, alcal's walking back over and i can tell that y.n's attention is turning back to you guys so, i'll talk to you all later," misha hangs up and focuses back on alex
seeing that misha was about to uncharacteristcally freak out, alex spoke up, "and, yes, it's the time to do it misha. it's why i asked you back those few weeks ago when everyone thought i was gonna do it for the third time i think *chuckles*..." alex trails off as misha's eyes nearly fall out of his socket
he nearly chokes on his own saliva, "wait, you weren't joking when you were asking me for advice on an engagement ring?" misha whispers, realising just how honoured he suddenly felt to be given this opportunity
"yes...i want you to help me and give me advice on an engagement ring for y.n. i was being serious that day when i came to you and asked. i know she loves emeralds because of the emerald necklace and earring set i gave her for our four-year but, i don't know if that's her style in rings too..." alex trailed off, suddenly feeling overwhelmed and stressed, grateful that he had misha with him
overcome with emotion and seeing alex overcome with emotion, misha had to fight himself to not give the young actor a huge hug. resisting however, misha takes in some deep breaths which causes alex to watch and copy so he could calm himself down as well.
"well, whilst y.n loves to wear emeralds on necklaces and earrings, do you know if she has any emerald rings? cause that's a start and if she does have emerald rings and wears them quite often, then, yes, that would be the choice of engagement ring you'd buy. but, if she usually wears a different stone more than the emerald then go for that one, alright?" misha advised as alex smiled and nodded his head, feeling more confident
as a smile overcomes his face, he pulls out his phone and goes straight to his photo album of you. majority of the photos you are wearing a specific ring with a specific stone. and whilst the stone wasn't an emerald, it was a green sapphire ring that you got given by your mother that you always wore on your ring finger. you would wear it until the day you would then change it for the real life green sapphire engagement ring you'd get when you'd eventually get proposed to.
looking at misha's pride-filled face of how, just like figuring out a specific scene, alex quickly figured out that the type of engagement ring you wanted. and how it was the exact same as the one you had been wearing ever since your mom had given it to you. except, whilst it would be similiar, it would be different because alex made sure that whilst the stone was sapphire, he still made sure that there was obvious engagement ring bling on the ring so it was obvious it was an engagement ring. and not just a replacement for the one you already had because, that sapphire ring hadn't broke, it was just being replaced for the real deal.
and, of course, alex didn't really need misha's opinion on the actual ring itself, he just needed the help in figuring out what stone and whether it was emerald or sapphire. so, when misha helped him in figuring it out by asking him if there was a specific stone that you wore more often then the other then, that was the stone of choice.
"misha...thank you for coming with me and helping me. i'm glad you were able to come with me," alex thanked his cast member, pure sincereity seeping from not just his words but his body language
and misha smiled, "my pleasure alex and, don't be thanking me, it was an honour to help you find the right one for y.n," misha replies, not stopping himself from hugging the actor this time. making the blonde sincerely chuckle, he welcomed the hug wonderfully
feeling pride and like a father to the actor (who everyone also said looked like misha), misha couldn't help the urge of a sudden flood of tears that had started to well up in his eyes as the two actors reached to the car
the one
"...hey guys, what are you all doing on the 30th of june?" alex asks, completely out of nowhere since it was another day of blocking
"that's like, nine months away, you really think i plan that far in advance, alex?" danneel questions, nevertheless checking her calender at the same time, her concentration from her paperwork fleeting for just a second
"to be fair, i was not expecting for that reaction," you smiled devishly, clearly hiding something, smiling at alex, "let's go once more and if they don't get this, i think i'm just gonna throw it at them. danneel, gen, briana, would you like to be apart of my bridesmaids?"
just when you thought you were going to have to throw the ring at them, a delayed and very loud gasp falls through the room as everyone turns to stone. it's briana that is the first one to regain her composure, "wait, what are you saying?"
with a joking roll of your eyes, you hold up your left hand and wriggle your fingers...oh and the new, upgraded sapphire engagement ring, "aren't you gonna ask where i got the new upgraded sapphire ring?" you pretty much cackle like an evil witch, surprisingly enjoying the reactions
misha then stands up, since he wasn't in his costume yet and pushed his chair away, "you actually did it?" he's soft in his question to alex
"i did it," the blonde nods, his smile wider than ever before
"you've broken the cast, alex," gen chuckles, looking all around her to see everyone still frozen in their tracks on their seats
however, not for long as briana, danneel and gen jump out of their seats and rush over to you, "why didn't you tell us the second you asked her, alex?! of course...of course i'm free that day and even if i'm not i'll make myself be free! and, excuse me, how dare you ask me to be your bridesmaid with the insinuation that i'd say no, I'D LOVE to be your bridesmaid!"
nearly toppling over you, briana smashes into you for a hug as you couldn't help the laugh that erupts from your throat. after briana's over the top reaction, the guys, jensen, jared, rich, rob and misha stood up out of their seats and also crowded around you and alex. of course then came all the congratulatory hugs and face squishes and wanting to take a closer look at the upgraded sapphire engagement ring.
and, obviously, the next day and then actually the next couple of weeks, briana and danneel and gen, everyone really, starts to bring in little cakes and muffins and things to keep the celebrations of the new supernatural family engagement up and continuing. because, now that the engagement had happened, that meant it was now time to plan the wedding. but, you and alex didn't care, you just loved that after waiting for so long, the cast that is, they finally got their moment to celebrate their two little supernatural babies be engaged because not only were you even more in love with your now fiancé but you just felt like you were being attacked with love at every angle and you loved it and you embraced it.
oh, and, remember that bet that was going around? yeah, it was actually misha that won all of them so, he got all of the money. shockingly, he managed to correctly predict the exact date of the proposal without even being given the date from alex. because, even though misha helped alex in figuring out the ring was a sapphire and not an emerald, that didn't mean he asked nor was given any other information about the day of the proposal. only that the ring was a sapphire so, it was pretty funny and a shock to the system that misha predicted the exact date without knowing it. and he didn't get the day before or the day after, he got the exact day on the dot. for a while, certain team members were a bit suspicious (jensen and jared) but a couple of days later and they just found it amusing and amazing that misha was such an amazing predicter and was then asked to predict the day that the bachelorette party was going to be on. but, that was obviously when misha drew the line as everyone was needed for costuming. because, tv unfortunately doesn't stop just because two actors get engaged.
---
this was so much fun to write and i have always wanted to do one of these but have always been too scared to but i'm glad i finally decided to just do it.
ok bye ily xx

Title: You Found Me
Second Chapter
Warnings: Smut. Lots and lots of smut. Sex gifs. Cussing.
•••
I woke up to the sound of my alarm, set every morning for 7 am. I really need to turn that thing off, I don’t have to work my shit job anymore.
“Sweetheart, what’s - what’s goin’ on?” Dean rubs his eyes and looks at me, squinting from just waking up. He has the most confused, adorable look on his face and it makes me look at him and giggle. “You’re so cute, Dean.”
The sight in front of me was so gorgeous. I’ve been wanting this for a long time. You have no idea how much I have missed the man in front of me.
“Yeah, I missed you too.” He looks up at me with a guilty gaze. “I didn’t want to leave you.” He looks down at the part of the bed I was sleeping in.
Noticing the look on his face, I sit down in the spot he’s laying in and I tilt his jaw gently to face me. “You did what you had to. You’re here now and that’s what matters.” I kiss him slowly, my hands cupping his jaw.
“No, I mean I had no choice. I wouldn’t leave you, ever.” He had a look on his face, anger mixed with pain. “I- I just didn’t have a choice.”
“Tell me what happened.” I know he wouldn’t just leave, and I’ve been thinking about that since he picked me up from that dumb ass job. “I know you didn’t want to leave, so what made you?” This isn’t anger, it’s worry.
“I can’t talk about that right now.” His face was stern.
I leaned into him. I kissed him, then I whispered in his ear. “When you can, I’ll be here. I’m here now.”
Dean backed away to look at me. “Damn right you are.”
The look on his face was intense. His eyes were so green. His eyes always did that whenever he wanted to have sex with me. He didn’t take his eyes off me, he knew that I knew what he wanted.
“Dean, it’s been a while since I’ve done it.” I felt so stupid saying this to him. It made me feel so pathetic saying it out loud.
“How long, sweetheart?”
“Since, the night before you left. The sex we had that night. I haven’t done it with anyone else.” My cheeks were so red, I knew they were. I had to look like an idiot standing in front of him saying all this.
“What? Since, that was -“
“A long time ago, I know.” I finished his sentence.
“Sweetheart, that’s, that’s amazing.” He had a look on his face I’ve never seen before. He leaned in and kissed me gently, ending the kiss by biting my bottom lip. “You’re amazing.”
“Dean, I love you.” I couldn’t help it, it flew out of my mouth. I meant every word of it, but I know how he is with this kind of thing so I’ve never told him until now. It feels good and scary all at the same time, telling him.
“I know you do, sweetheart.” He kissed me again.
Dean crawls on top of me, I can feel his boner against my body. I couldn’t help but moan when I felt him on me like that. He whispers in my ear, “baby, I love it when you moan for me.” He grinds against my leg. “I wanna feel you.”
“Dean, please.” I begged him. I couldn’t help it.
Dean moved his hips at the sound of my voice, letting me feel how hard he is.
“Please, please Dean, I need it.” Dean smirked down at me. You want more, baby?” His voice is like honey.
“Yes, Dean please. Please fuck me. I need it so b -“ and the door slammed open. It was Sam.
I heard a low “fuck” in my right ear.
“Uh, damn - Wait, is that -?” Sam was so surprised.
“Hey, Sam.” Fuck. I did miss him too, but fuck. He always did have horrible timing.
“I’ll go, sorry -“ I can’t kick him out of his own room.
“You’re okay.” Dean gave me a stare that would kill me if it could. I bit my lip looking down at his red chest, sitting in my own wet.
“O -okay.” He looked so embarrassed.
“Sorry, Sammy.” Dean sounded so pissed.
“I’m sorry.” I whisper into Dean’s ear.
Sam walks into the bathroom to get ready for bed. I immediately get on top of Dean. I slide myself onto his hard and throbbing cock. His hands are on my hips, grabbing me hard, looking into my eyes like I cooked him a whole ass meal.
“Damn, your pussy is so tight. You feel so good.” His voice was shaky and on edge. I knew he was about to cum, so I slowed down and I rolled my hips, grabbing my boobs in front of him. “Dean, I’ve been needing this.”
I feel his nails dig into my sides. “Fuck, I missed this.”
I bite my lip when he says that. Something about him cussing during sex, it’s so hot. I roll my nipples between my fingers, moaning Dean’s name so loud I know Sam heard me, but I didn’t give a fuck.
“I’m about to cum.” I could feel it. I leaned down and I sucked on his neck. Whenever I knew he was about to explode in me, I leaned up so I could look at him. He squeezed my ass as I rolled my hips.
“Fuck, fuck” he is so so close. I am, too. But I always like to wait and cum with him. I can feel his skin on my clit, getting me closer and closer. I feel the grip on my ass tighten as hot juices fill me. “Dean, don’t stop I’m coming - DEAN!” I scream his name as I clench around him. My hips are rolling, and I slow down, my body almost twitching as I finish on him.
“That, that was beautiful.” Deans voice was breathy, his chest and neck covered in sweat. “You are beautiful.”

I Know Your Wife (She Wouldn’t Mind) - Part Fifty-Nine
Summary: Austin is hit by a storm and you distract yourself with a Q&A with your followers. Your pregnancy is coming to an end as Jensen, Danneel, and the kids come to visit. Words: 2k + instagram stories Jared x Reader x Gen Warnings: pregnancy, mild angst
I Know Your Wife Masterpost
When the storm hit, you had to work extra hard not to completely freak out.
You were supposed to be going to your 18 week scan, hopefully finally finding out whether you were having girls or boys seeing as they’d remained stubbornly in the wrong position throughout the 16 week checkup, but obviously you weren’t able to get there due to the road conditions.
A pipe burst in the house, flooding the floor of what was supposed to be the twins’ nursery and caving in some of the ceiling underneath, and both Jared and Gen insisted that you didn’t help with the cleanup so that you didn’t cause yourself any unnecessary stress at that time.
You had no power or internet connection, so you couldn’t stream, or even call your parents to check in, and it was absolutely freezing outside of the house so searching for connection elsewhere was out of the question. The only real positive of the situation was watching the kids and the dogs play in the snow once it was safe to go outside.
Almost as swiftly as the storm arrived and caused havoc, it was over. The sun came out, the snow melted away and, apart from the future nursery’s water damage, everything went back to normal.
When you eventually got back from your rearranged scan, you decided to hold a little Instagram stories Q&A as you’d been MIA during the whole storm.
You wanted to get back in touch with your followers, especially seeing as Gen was so active and, frankly, making you look bad.
You posted the ‘Ask me anything’ to your story and were shocked at how fast questions started coming in. You found a show to watch in the background while everybody was out before properly settling in to answer some questions.
By the time you'd answered most of the more frequently asked questions, everyone else had returned from their walk.
Bailey was clearly exhausted, walking straight over to you in the living room and flopping down at your feet.
"Did they wear you out, baby?" you asked, scratching between her ears. "You'd always be home with me if you had the choice, huh?"
“She had fun,” Tom told you, coming to sit beside you.
You put your arm over his shoulders, pulling him closer to you.
“Did you?” you asked him.
“Yeah,” he confirmed, leaning against you. “Did you have a good afternoon?”
“I’ve been super lazy,” you admitted, earning a laugh from Genevieve as she walked in.
She leaned in to kiss the top of your head before sitting down on the other end of the couch.
“You’ve got babies to grow, you’re doing your best,” she reminded you.
“I’ve been watching Glee and posting on instagram,” you deadpanned, earning another laugh which made you crack into a smile.
Dallas came in at a run, giggling as Shep chased behind her, Jared following with an exasperated smile.
“Thanks,” you told him as he handed you a lemonade.
You took a sip, offering some to Tom before resting it down.
“No worries,” he told you, picking up the remote control as he sat down.
He stopped the box set and put on a movie that the kids would enjoy, the six of you settling in to watch in a comfortable silence.
*****
Everything continued as normal.
Your time was split between parenting, dog-walking, and streaming - your viewership still growing steadily. You were still in contact with the game production team, spending a few days in the studio to record your sound between scans and all of your other commitments.
By June 30th you were officially the most pregnant you had ever been, and you could absolutely feel it. Your date schedule had stayed in place up until you hit 35 weeks in your pregnancy, your body too tired for any other activities while carrying two healthy babies.
Getting out of bed was a struggle, your belly was so heavy and stretched tight. Your back and boobs had been aching for what felt like months now, and by this point you realised you couldn’t focus on anything for an extended period of time. You sent out a tweet to your followers, joking about going on maternity leave as you couldn’t sit and stream for hours on end anymore.
All of your scans had been positive, and you’d been talking about names for the past couple of weeks. After Dallas came early, you tried to get that conversation going earlier on than in your last pregnancy, which was reassuring as you entered the last few weeks as you felt like you could bond with your babies a bit easier, using the names you’d shortlisted.
You were sat in the nursery which had been complete a few months now, in the same rocking chair that you had in Dallas’ nursery in Vancouver, while you called your parents for your regularly scheduled catch up.
“I’d stand up and show off the bump but honestly I’d rather die,” you jibed, and Danneel laughed while Jensen rolled his eyes,
“I remember that feeling,” Danneel sympathised.
“We’ll be down in a couple days anyway,” Jensen reminded you, and you smiled.
“I can’t believe you’ve nearly been my parents for four years,” you mused, knowing they were coming down to celebrate your adoption anniversary.
“I’ve been your dad for nearly five if we’re honest,” Jensen commented.
“I meant officially,” you laughed, “but you’re right. I can’t wait to see you guys, it’s been too long.”
“I kinda thought the twins would be born by the time we got down,” Danneel admitted. “I was hoping I’d get snuggles.”
You matched her wistful smile.
“We’ll be down for a week,” your father reminded both of you. “A lot can happen in a week.”
“That’s true,” you agreed. “When I found out I was pregnant, I was hoping to go full 40 this time, but now we’re over 37 weeks and I’m just about ready to actually burst.”
You sighed, running a hand over your bump.
“Not to sound uncharacteristically optimistic, but I think I’m ready for them to come now.”
“I for one would not complain if I got to have grandpa cuddles on our trip down,” Jensen chimed in. “And I’m sure JJ and our twins would be pumped to meet them.”
“We’ll see,” you smiled. “If they’re as stubborn and contrary as me, they’ll probably stay in for weeks now that I’ve admitted I’m ready.”
They smiled fondly, and you bit your lip as you considered your next words.
“I know it’s late, but-”
“She’s still up,” Danneel told you before you could even finish your thought. “We put her to bed but made the error of telling her we were about to call you.”
“I’ll get her,” Jensen told you, getting to his feet to go and retrieve your sister.
“She asks about you every day, you know?” Danneel told you. “Always asking about Dallas and the babies, too.”
Your heart fluttered at her words.
“It’s been so weird doing it all without you guys around,” you admitted. “Jared and Gen have been great, it’s just so different from last time.”
She smiled sadly.
“Two days, sweetie,” she reminded you. “We’ll all be reunited again. You can show off the cute new nursery in person.”
You nodded, grinning as you heard Jensen and JJ coming down the stairs.
“I can’t wait.”
*****
“Are you sure you’re good to drive?” Gen asked as you grabbed your keys on Friday afternoon.
“I’m good,” you promised, pressing a quick kiss to her cheek as Jared picked up his keys as well. “There’s five of them to pick up, plus their luggage. Two cars makes sense.”
“I don’t think she’ll spend another second sat here when she knows they’re in the city,” Jared reasoned, bending down to help Dallas into her shoes. “Neither of them will.”
“We’re seein’ Grandpa,” Dallas told him proudly, getting to her feet and taking your hand.
“Yeah we are,” you smiled, looking back at an unconvinced Genevieve. “Babe, I’m fine. If my water breaks I’ll already be in the car anyway, easier to get to the hospital.”
Her mouth dropped open in shock and Jared ushered you and your daughter out of the door before she could stop you.
“She’s kidding,” he told his wife, wrapping his arms around her as you and Dallas got into your car. “We’ll be fine. Just picking them up from the airport, we’ll be right back.”
“Make sure she doesn’t do anything stupid,” Gen murmured, pulling him down for a kiss. “No lifting things.”
“She can barely put her clothes on herself, she’s not lifting anything,” he promised, pulling back and stepping outside. “We’ll see you soon.”
*****
You rubbed at the small of your back as you waited at the arrivals gate, Jared with Dallas on his shoulders as you scanned the crowd for your parents and siblings.
“Do you want to go and sit?” Jared asked, looking down at you in concern.
You shook your head, breathing carefully as you stretched your back out.
“I can sit when we get home,” you reminded him. “I’ve missed them, can’t wait another second longer than I need to.”
He huffed a small laugh, and you looked up at him, wrapping an arm around his waist.
“I appreciate you doing this,” you told him, quiet enough that your daughter wouldn’t hear. “After everything with The Winchesters-”
“They’re your parents,” he replied, meeting your gaze. “It hurt but I can’t hold a grudge, not when they’re such a big part of your life, of our daughter’s life.”
You pressed a kiss to his shoulder, grateful that he was able to consider it water under the bridge for the benefit of you and Dallas. It had come as a surprise to both of you when Jensen had made the post earlier that week, and Jared had taken it considerably harder than you had, but knowing how important your relationship with your parents was to you, he’d been able to push it to the side.
“Grandpa!”
Dallas’ shout and light tug on Jared’s hair grabbed both of your attention, and you looked over to see your family making their way through the crowd.
Dallas scrambled to get down and Jared laughed as he helped her, putting her down in front of him but holding her shoulders so she didn’t run off until they got closer.
Jensen broke out into a little jog and Jared let her run to him, both of you watching with fond smiles as he picked your daughter up under her arms and span her around.
“Surprised you’re not running too,” Jared joked, and you looked down at your bump.
“I would be if these guys weren’t in the way,” you grumbled, grinning as JJ came running up to you.
“Don’t pick me up,” she reminded you as she wrapped her arms around you, and you laughed as you held her against you.
“You’re getting too big anyway,” you told her, smiling at Danneel as she finally reached you with the twins and bags in tow.
“I thought you were joking when you said you’re ready to burst,” she told you, letting the twins run to you as she hugged Jared. “Good to see you.”
Jared smiled as he hugged back before crouching to greet the kids as Jensen came over with Dallas on his hip.
“Nonna,” Dallas giggled, reaching for Danneel.
“Hey baby girl,” she smiled, taking her from her husband so he could give you a hug.
You hugged him tight - well, as tight as you could with two babies in the way.
“Let’s get you home, we can catch up there,” he told you, picking up his bags.
Jared grabbed Danneel’s bag and you and Danneel took two kids each as you made your way back out to the cars.
“I’ve missed you,” JJ admitted, squeezing your hand.
You squeezed back before letting go to find your keys in your pocket.
“It’s been too long,” you agreed, unlocking your car and helping Zep into his car seat. “I hope we never have to leave it this long again.”

Remember how Mary said something angels are always watching over you?? Well look haha Castiel is obviously named after the angel born on Thursday. Dean’s bday is on a Wednesday… so in other words Castiel is one day after Dean sure but from that moment on he guards Dean. I love too how Dean hated angels even if his mom said they are always there and cut to he fell in love with one (and one fell in love with him too) … Idk I’m half asleep and should sleep it’s 6 am but haha. They are always on my mind and miss them. Just sad they queer baited us but just maybe we will see them again 🥺🥺🤷.
If you ship them too let’s be friends and rant and talk about them cuz I miss them. and rp. If you don’t sail away on your ship and leave our ship alone.

Breaking Character pt6/?
Summary: You are the new cast member of 'The Boys' and you play Butcher's cousin and Soldier Boy's new love interest 'Solene'. You're introduced to the cast by the director at a dinner and you're seated next to Karl and Jensen to "bond".
Pairing: Jensen x reader
Warnings: language, fluff
A/N: again! no hate to Danneel.
You stayed by the door, leaning against the frame, watching Jensen with Zeppelin. It was hard to look away, your heart swelling at the sight. This big, tough guy—who threw around curse words like they were punctuation and could knock back whiskey like it was water—was now a total softie, cradling his son like the world depended on it.
“Daddy loves you, okay?” Jensen murmured, his Southern drawl soothing as he smoothed Zeppelin’s hair. “Ain’t nothin’ out there gonna hurt you. Not while I’m here.”
Zeppelin sniffled, his tiny face peeking up at his dad, and you swore you saw Jensen’s heart melt right there. It was so damn pure, and it made you smile, even as a pang of something deeper settled in your chest.
When Jensen finally stood, leaving Zeppelin peacefully tucked in, he closed the door halfway and turned back to you. His shoulders sagged just a little, his face soft and tired, but still managing a sheepish grin.
“Sorry ‘bout that,” he muttered, running a hand through his hair. “Zep’s got those dreams sometimes. Fuckin’ rips me apart every time.”
You shook your head, stepping forward to close the space between you. “Don’t you dare apologize for that. Seriously, Jensen. Watching you with him? It’s…” You paused, trying to find the words, but they all felt too small.
“It’s what?” he asked, tilting his head slightly.
“It’s amazing,” you said, your voice softer now. “The way you just—shit, Jensen, the way you’re there for him, the way he looks at you like you hung the damn moon. You’re a hell of a dad. I mean it.”
He looked down, his grin turning bashful. “Yeah, well,” he mumbled, rubbing the back of his neck, “they’re my world. Ain’t much choice in it, you know? Gotta show up.”
“No,” you countered, stepping even closer until you could rest your hand on his arm. “It’s not just that you show up. It’s how you show up. You’re so… present. So fucking all in. It’s not something you see every day.”
Jensen’s lips quirked into a lopsided smile, the kind that made your chest flutter. “You keep talkin’ like that, darlin’, and I’m gonna start thinkin’ I’m some kinda superhero or somethin’.”
You laughed, your fingers giving his arm a playful squeeze. “Well, you do save the day pretty well. You’ve got my vote.”
He chuckled, his hand coming to rest lightly on your hip. The warmth in his eyes softened even more as he looked down at you, his thumb brushing absently over the fabric of his shirt you were wearing.
“You’re good with them, you know,” he said quietly. “Zep and Arrow they like you. Hell, I think Zep’s already got a little crush.”
You grinned, feeling a warm flush rise in your cheeks. “Well, I mean, I am pretty damn likable. Can’t really blame the kid.”
Jensen laughed, his head tipping back before he leaned in, pressing a kiss to your cheek. “Yeah, you are,” he murmured.
For a moment, you just stood there, wrapped in the quiet warmth of the hallway. Jensen’s arms came around you, pulling you into a hug that was as solid and grounding as he was. His chin rested lightly on the top of your head, and you closed your eyes, letting yourself sink into the moment.
“Thanks,” he said softly, his voice rumbling against your ear.
“For what?” you asked, pulling back just enough to look up at him.
“For bein’ you,” he said simply, his hand coming up to brush a strand of hair from your face. “I don’t say it enough, but… you’re somethin’ else, you know that?”
Your heart did a little flip, and you smiled. “You’re not so bad yourself, Ackles. Now, let’s get back to whatever we were doing before Zeppelin decided to steal the show.”
Jensen chuckled, shaking his head as he took your hand. “Deal. But don’t expect me to get through the night without braggin’ about how you got both my kids wrapped around your finger already.”
The set was its usual brand of chaotic—lights being adjusted, cameras rolling into position, and the crew bustling around with a kind of practiced frenzy. You were in your full Solene costume, leaning against a prop table while scrolling through your phone. Every now and then, you glanced up at the action, ready for your cue, but mostly, your attention was glued to the screen.
Jensen, standing nearby in his Soldier Boy costume, watched you from the corner of his eye. It wasn’t unusual for you to check your phone between takes, but today, you’d been extra preoccupied. Every time the director called for a break, you slipped away to a quiet corner, your phone pressed to your ear as you laughed softly at whatever conversation you were having.
Jensen’s jaw tightened as he adjusted the strap of his shield. He wasn’t the type to pry, but damn if it didn’t bother him to see you smiling like that for someone else.
“You good?” Karl’s voice broke through Jensen’s thoughts.
“Huh?” Jensen turned, blinking at Karl, who was smirking at him knowingly.
“You’re practically burning a hole through your shield,” Karl teased, gesturing to the prop in Jensen’s hands. “Who’s got you all twisted up, mate?”
“Nobody,” Jensen grumbled, but his gaze flicked back to you as you walked past, phone still in hand, laughing at something the person on the other end said.
“Uh-huh,” Karl drawled, following Jensen’s line of sight. “Right. Nobody at all.”
Jensen shot him a look, but before he could say anything, the director called for everyone to take their places.
You returned to set a minute later, tucking your phone away and sliding into position next to Jensen. Your cheeks were still slightly flushed, and there was a brightness in your eyes that made his chest tighten.
“Ready for this?” you asked, giving him a playful nudge.
“Always,” he replied, forcing a smile.
The scene went off without a hitch, but the moment the director yelled “Cut!” and announced a ten-minute break, your phone was back in your hand, and you were wandering off again. Jensen watched you go, his hands clenching and unclenching at his sides.
“Just ask her,” Karl said, appearing at Jensen’s side again.
“Ask her what?” Jensen muttered, though he knew exactly what Karl was getting at.
“Who’s got her giggling like a teenager at a One Direction concert,” Karl replied, smirking. “You’re not exactly subtle, mate.”
Jensen sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. “It’s none of my business.”
Karl raised an eyebrow. “Sure, keep telling yourself that.”
Later, during lunch, you were sitting at a table, still engrossed in your phone. Jensen walked over, his Soldier Boy bravado dialed back, and cleared his throat.
“Mind if I join?” he asked.
You looked up, smiling. “Of course not.”
He sat down across from you, tapping his fingers against the table for a moment before finally asking, “So, uh… who’s got you grinning like that all day?”
Your eyebrows shot up in surprise, but you chuckled. “Why, Jensen Ackles, are you jealous?”
He scoffed, leaning back in his chair. “Jealous? Nah. Just curious.”
“Uh-huh.” You smirked, leaning in slightly. “It’s just my brother. We're very close, so we talk about our entire day.”
Relief washed over Jensen’s face, though he tried to play it cool. “Your brother, huh? Sounds like a real pain in the ass.”
“Oh, he is,” you said, laughing. “But I love him. Keeps me grounded.”
“Good,” Jensen said, his voice softening. “You deserve people who do that for you.”
You blinked, caught off guard by the sincerity in his tone. For a moment, the chaos of the set faded away, and it was just the two of you sitting there, sharing a quiet connection.
“Thanks,” you said softly. “That means a lot.”
It had been a long week on set, and you were ready to spend your rare day off relaxing. Jensen had texted you earlier that morning, asking if you could swing by his place for lunch, and you didn’t think twice before saying yes.
When you arrived, the house was bustling with the noise of his kids running around. Zeppelin was chasing Arrow with a toy dinosaur, while JJ was sitting at the kitchen counter, coloring intently.
“Hey,” Jensen greeted you warmly as you walked in, pulling you into a quick hug. He lingered for a second, pressing a soft kiss to your cheek. “Thanks for coming by.”
“Of course,” you said, smiling up at him. “What’s all this?”
He sighed, running a hand through his hair. “Something came up—work-related. I was supposed to drop the kids off at Danneel’s, but I don’t have time. Any chance you could do me a huge favor and take them over?”
You hesitated. It wasn’t that you minded helping out, but the thought of facing Danneel alone made your stomach twist. Still, the way Jensen looked at you, so earnest and a little desperate, made it impossible to say no.
“Yeah, I can do that,” you said finally.
“Thank you,” he said, his relief palpable. “You’re a fucking lifesaver.”
The car ride was filled with Zeppelin and Arrow chattering away in the back seat. They were sweet kids, and their excitement about seeing their mom made the drive easier. When you pulled up to Danneel’s house, though, your nerves returned full force.
You walked the kids up to the door, their small hands in yours, and rang the bell. It wasn’t long before Danneel opened it, her expression immediately guarded when she saw you.
“Oh,” she said, her tone clipped. “It’s you.”
You forced a polite smile. “Hey, Jensen asked me to drop the kids off. He got caught up with work.”
Danneel’s eyes narrowed slightly as she looked you up and down. “How convenient.”
You ignored the comment and crouched down to say goodbye to the kids. “Alright, you two. Be good, okay?”
Zeppelin threw his arms around your neck, and Arrow gave you a shy smile before following his brother inside. You straightened up, ready to leave, but Danneel stepped into the doorway, blocking your path.
“Let me ask you something,” she said, her voice low.
You froze, your hand still on the doorframe. “Okay...”
“What exactly is your endgame here?” she asked, her arms crossing over her chest.
You frowned. “I’m sorry?”
“Oh, don’t play dumb,” she snapped. “You think I don’t see what’s going on? Jensen’s not some clueless idiot, but he’s obviously blinded by... whatever this is.” She gestured vaguely in your direction, her eyes blazing. “But I’m not.”
“Look, I don’t know what you’re implying—”
“I’m implying that you’re a fucking gold digger,” she cut in, her words sharp as glass. “I don’t know what sob story you fed him, but let me make one thing very clear—you’re not going to worm your way into his life through his kids or otherwise.”
The words hit you like a punch to the gut. “You’ve got it all wrong,” you said, your voice shaking slightly. “I care about Jensen, and I care about his kids. That’s it.”
Danneel let out a harsh laugh. “Sure, you do. But here’s the thing—you’re not the first, and you won’t be the last. So save us all the drama and just... back off.”
You stared at her, your chest tight and your face burning. Without another word, you turned and walked back to your car, the weight of her accusations settling heavily on your shoulders.
You didn’t tell Jensen what Danneel had said. How could you? It wasn’t just the sting of her words; it was the fear that maybe, deep down, she was right. You didn’t want to cause a rift between him and the mother of his kids, and you didn’t want to be the reason for unnecessary drama.
So, you buried it. You went about your days, still seeing him on set, still sharing stolen smiles and quiet moments. But something had shifted. Your texts were shorter, your hugs a little less tight. Jensen noticed.
At first, he didn’t push. He figured maybe you were just tired or stressed, but as the days turned into a week, your distance started gnawing at him. You didn’t laugh as much, didn’t lean into him the way you used to. Every time he asked if you were okay, you brushed it off with a weak smile and a quick excuse.
It was driving him fucking insane.
It had been gnawing at Jensen all week. Your sudden shift, the guarded looks, the forced smiles—it wasn’t you. He knew you, and he knew when something was eating you alive. The final straw was when you avoided his texts entirely for a whole day, leaving him pacing his living room, running his hands through his hair, trying to figure out what the hell went wrong.
The realization hit him like a ton of bricks: Danneel.
The next time she came by to pick up the kids, he didn’t bother with pleasantries.
“Can we talk?” he asked, his voice low and clipped as soon as the kids ran to grab their bags.
Danneel tilted her head, her eyes narrowing. “Talk about what?”
“You know damn well what,” Jensen said, stepping closer, his arms crossed over his chest. “What the fuck did you say to Y/N?”
Danneel smirked, her red lips curving into something sharp and satisfied. “Oh, so she told you?”
“She didn’t have to,” Jensen shot back. “She’s been acting different ever since she dropped the kids off at your place. What the hell did you say to her, Danneel?”
Danneel shrugged, playing with the hem of her sweater. “Nothing she didn’t need to hear.”
“Cut the bullshit,” Jensen snapped, his patience wearing thin.
“Fine,” she said, her voice turning cold. “I told her the truth. That she doesn’t belong in your life. That she’s out of her depth.”
Jensen’s jaw clenched so tightly it hurt. “Who the fuck do you think you are?”
“I’m the mother of your children,” she said, stepping closer, her voice low and smooth. “I’m the woman who knows you better than anyone else. Better than her.”
“Don’t,” Jensen warned, his voice sharp.
“Don’t what?” Danneel said, her tone dripping with false innocence as she closed the space between them. “Don’t remind you of what we had? Don’t make you think about how good we were together?”
Jensen took a step back, his hands flexing at his sides. “We weren’t good, Danneel. We fell apart, remember?”
She ignored him, her eyes roaming over his face. “You haven’t changed much, you know. Still the same Jensen. Still loyal, still so easy to read.” She reached out, trailing her fingers down his arm. “I miss that about you.”
Jensen flinched away from her touch, his voice cold and steady. “You need to stop.”
“Stop what?” she asked, tilting her head. “Being honest? You can’t tell me you haven’t thought about it. About us.”
“There is no us,” he said, his voice firm.
Danneel’s smile faltered for a moment, but she quickly recovered, stepping even closer. “You sure about that?” she whispered, her hand brushing against his chest. “Because the way I see it, she’s just a distraction. Someone new and shiny. But we... we were everything, Jensen. We could be everything again.”
The sound of the front door opening stopped her words in their tracks.
“Jensen, I—”
Your voice froze mid-sentence as you stepped inside, your bag slung over your shoulder, your eyes wide as you took in the scene.
Danneel’s hand was still on his chest, and the way her body was angled toward him made it look intimate, conspiratorial.
The color drained from Jensen’s face as he saw the way your expression crumbled.
“Y/N, it’s not what it looks like,” he said, stepping toward you.
You held up a hand, your voice shaking. “Don’t. Just... don’t.”
Before he could say another word, you turned and walked out, leaving him standing there, his heart sinking into his stomach.
As the door slammed shut behind you, Jensen turned back to Danneel, his face a mask of fury.
“What the fuck is wrong with you?” he hissed, his voice dangerously low.
Danneel shrugged, crossing her arms over her chest. “Just proving a point.”
Jensen’s voice was ice. “You didn’t prove shit, except how fucking bitter you are.”
“She’ll leave you, you know,” Danneel said, her tone smug. “They always do.”
Jensen didn’t reply. He just turned away, his fists clenched at his sides, and stormed out the door, his mind racing with how to fix the mess Danneel had just made.
You made it to the driveway before he caught up to you, his footsteps pounding against the pavement as he grabbed your arm gently to stop you.
“Please, just let me explain,” he said, his voice desperate, his eyes wide with panic.
You turned to face him, tears already streaming down your face. “Explain what, Jensen? Explain how she was all over you? Explain why you didn’t stop her?”
“It’s not what it looked like,” he said quickly, his hands raised in surrender. “She was trying to get under my skin, trying to mess with me. With us.”
You let out a bitter laugh, shaking your head. “Well, congratulations. She fucking succeeded.”
“Y/N,” he said softly, stepping closer. “Please don’t do this. Don’t let her ruin this. Don’t let her win.”
“Win?” you repeated, your voice breaking as you took a step back. “This isn’t about winning, Jensen. This is about me standing there and realizing that I will never—never—be what she was to you.”
“That’s not true,” he said firmly, his voice cracking with emotion.
You shook your head, a sob catching in your throat. “She’s the mother of your kids. She’s beautiful, she’s confident, she knows every part of you, Jensen. Every part that I’ll never get to know.”
“That doesn’t mean—” he started, but you cut him off.
“She gave you a life I could never give you,” you said, your voice trembling. “She gave you Arrow and Zeppelin and JJ. She gave you history. How the hell am I supposed to compete with that? How am I supposed to fit into your life when she’s always going to be there? When she knows exactly how to push your buttons and... and make you hesitate?”
Jensen’s jaw tightened, his hands balling into fists at his sides. “You don’t have to compete with her, Y/N. This isn’t a fucking competition. I want you. I choose you.”
You looked up at him, your chest aching with the weight of it all. “But why?”
“What do you mean, why?” he asked, his voice breaking.
“Why would you choose me, Jensen?” you whispered, your tears falling freely now. “I’m not her. I’ll never be her. I could never give you the same excitement she gave you. I could never give you the family she gave you. And every time I see her, every time I see the way she looks at you, I feel like I’m just a placeholder for something you’ve already lost.”
His face crumpled, and he stepped closer, his hands reaching for yours. “You’re not a placeholder. You’re not some fucking second choice. You’re everything, Y/N. You make me feel alive in ways she never could.”
You pulled your hands away, the ache in your chest growing unbearable. “I wish I could believe that,” you said softly.
“Believe it,” he pleaded, his voice desperate. “Believe me.”
“I can’t,” you whispered, your voice barely audible.
The pain in his eyes was almost too much to bear, but you turned and walked away, your heart shattering with every step.
Sitting alone in her car, I stared out at the rain streaking down the windshield, the silence pressing in around me. My hands gripped the steering wheel, knuckles white, though the car wasn’t even running.
I thought about the way Danneel had stood so close to him, her hand on his chest like it belonged there, like it always had. The familiarity in her touch, the confidence in her presence—it was suffocating.
And Jensen… he hadn’t pushed her away.
It didn’t matter that his words had told a different story, that he’d promised Danneel was in his past. Actions spoke louder. And in that moment, standing there in his house, it felt like I was intruding on something sacred. Something I could never touch.
A sob caught in my throat as I buried my face in my hands. What the fuck was I thinking?
How could I ever compare to someone like Danneel? I wasn’t the mother of his children. I didn’t share years of memories with him. I wasn’t his past, his history, his comfort. I was just… a blip. A fleeting distraction.
The worst part wasn’t that Danneel was in his life—it was that she always would be. Every holiday, every school event, every milestone for the kids. She’d always be there, like a shadow I couldn’t escape. And me? I’d always be on the outside, trying to carve out a space that would never truly be mine.
I could never be enough for him. Not the way she was.
My breath hitched as the thought settled deep in my chest, cold and unyielding. I closed my eyes, letting the tears fall freely. It was over. It had to be. For both our sakes.
Because loving Jensen Ackles meant loving a life I could never truly be part of. And no matter how much he might have wanted me, some things just weren’t meant to be.
And God, it fucking hurt.

The closing ceremony was so touching, I think Danneel & Jensen were not far from crying. Danneel got a VERY LONG applause and Jensen got a standing ovation.
Sean (the con organizer) said so many beautiful things about them as individuals. ♥️

The Celebrity Next Door: Chapter 8: Embracing Enough
Pairings: Jensen Ackles x Reader
Chapter Summary: A day spent on the board walk brings a whirwind of emotions.
Warnings: Panic attacks, fluff, panicking, insecurities.
Series Masterlist here!! & Main masterlist here!
Time flies when you're having fun, or so they say.
I used to doubt it; fun didn't always make time race by for me. But this past week with Jensen and his kids felt like just hours since they arrived. Now here they were, packing up to head back to their mom's place.
I gathered my things, slipping on my shoes by the back door, preparing to leave when Jensen wandered over, a playful smirk on his face. "Where are you sneaking off to?" he teased, pulling me close by my coat.
I chuckled, gently pushing his chest back. "Home, silly."
His smile faltered, and he looked at me, surprised, almost hurt. "Why?"
Confusion washed over me as I approached him, offering a polite smile. "What do you mean, why? Out of respect. Remember last time?"
His expression turned cold, and he glanced away, attempting to rebuild his walls. "Hey, Jensen, don't do that," I urged gently. "I'm not trying to upset you. Last time we agreed we were enjoying the drama-free zone. We don't have to change anything."
He frowned, shaking his head. "I want it to change. I don't want to hide anymore. This past week has been amazing for all of us. I want our little bubble to pop and step into the real world, together."
I smiled, setting my bag down and moving closer to wrap my arms around him. "Then let's pop it."
Half an hour later, the kids' mom arrived.
I swallowed my nerves, standing from my spot, glancing to Jensen who seemed even more nervous than I was.
Her face dropped when she saw me, a knowing smile on her lips. "Oh, Hi. Y/N, right?" she greeted, stepping closer to us.
I nodded, smiling warmly. "Yes, nice to see you again, Sarah!"
She maintained her composure, glancing at Jensen, who was unusually quiet and still, frozen almost. "Jensen? Are you going to say hi or just stand there like a deer in headlights?" she teased.
Jensen managed a polite smile, shaking off his nerves. "Hey, Sarah. How was the drive?"
She shrugged, looking towards her car. "Not bad. I do miss Austin, though. Might consider moving back."
Jensen's jaw clenched, his expression turning cold and guarded, walls going up brick by brick. I stepped back, letting them talk, sitting beside the kids on the stairs.
"So, did you guys have a good week?" I asked.
Katie nodded, leaning against my shoulder. "I'll miss you!"
I laughed softly, touched by her words. "I'll miss you too, Katie. But don't worry, I live right next door. Come visit me whenever you're back, okay?"
She nodded eagerly, and I turned to Kevin, who sat with arms crossed, wearing a grouchy expression. "And you, Kevin? Did you have a good week?"
He shrugged and huffed, retreating into his cold behaviour as if the week hadn't happened at all. It stung a bit, but he was a kid, struggling with the back-and-forth between parents. It couldn't be easy.
The parents' voices rose before falling silent altogether. Jensen walked away from Sarah, shaking his head, and approached Katie and Kevin, attempting a smile. "Come on, guys. Time to get in the car."
We waved goodbye as they drove off, and I couldn't help but feel a sting of sadness seeing Katie and Jensen look so downhearted. They weren't my family yet, but I could feel myself growing emotional seeing the hurt that filled the area.
Once the car was out of sight, Jensen sat on the stairs, and I joined him quickly. He stared out at the road, jaw clenched, fists tight with whatever was going on in his mind.
"Jensen?" I whispered, catching his attention.
He turned towards me, managing a sad smile. "I'm good. It's just a lot sometimes."
I nodded understandingly, squeezing his hand tightly. "Well, why don't we do something today? Get out of the house a bit?"
He smiled genuinely and squeezed my hand. "Yeah. Let's do it."
After looking up things to do, Jensen suggested we visit the beachside market. It had little kiosks and stands with handmade items, something I was excited to explore.
We parked on the street, his hand finding mine immediately. Jensen was never shy about affection in the right moments. With his kids around, it was innocent; just the two of us, it was constant and comforting.
As we strolled down the pier, I admired the beautiful booths displaying a range of handmade items—henna art, handmade bags, clothing, and more. It felt like walking through an art exhibit, each stall captivating my attention.
Jensen chuckled softly, drawing my gaze. "What?" I asked nervously.
He smirked, pulling me close. "You're adorable. That's what."
My cheeks flushed at the compliment, Jensen was never shy of that either. He'd constantly throw compliments at me, telling me how beautiful I was, how adorable. He didn't realize how much those words meant to me, especially since I didn't feel like skmeone who belonged beside a celebrity like him, but he made me feel otherwise.
We continued down the boardwalk, stopping at each booth. Jensen paused at a display of handmade gemstone necklaces while I spotted something intriguing at the nearby booth—a handmade beanie with "COD" embroidered on it, Call of Duty.
My thoughts turned to Kevin. Would he like it? Would he find it ridiculous? Jensen wrapped his arms around me from behind, a soft kiss on my shoulder sending shivers down my spine. "What are you looking at?"
I smiled, pointing to the beanie hanging on the rack. "I'm not sure if Kevin would like it, but..."
He turned me to face him, a wide grin on his face. "He'd love it."
We purchased the beanie and were about to leave when giggling caught my attention. Two girls from a nearby booth were whispering and giggling, eyeing Jensen like he was a celebrity cutout.
Time seems to fly when you're having fun, or so they say. I used to doubt it; fun didn't always make time race by for me. But this past week with Jensen and his kids felt like mere hours since they arrived. Now they were packing up to head back to their mom's place. Kevin and Katie sorted their bags in the hallway while Jensen came down the stairs, as usual, to see them off.
I gathered my things, slipping on my shoes by the back door, preparing to leave when Jensen hurried over, a playful smirk on his face.
I want our bubble to be real. I want us to step out into the real world together."
I smiled, setting my bag down and moving closer to wrap my arms around him. "Then let's change it."
Half an hour later, the kids' mom arrived. I swallowed my nerves, standing my ground as Jensen seemed even more nervous than me.
Her face dropped when she saw me, a knowing smile on her lips. "Oh, hi. Y/N, right?" she greeted, stepping closer to us.
I nodded, smiling warmly. "Yes, nice to see you again, Daneel!"
She maintained her composure, glancing at Jensen, who was unusually quiet and still, frozen almost. "Jensen? Are you going to say hi or just stand there like a deer in headlights?" she teased.
Jensen managed a polite smile, shaking off his nerves. "Hey, Daneel.
She nodded eagerly, and I turned to Kevin, who sat with arms crossed, wearing a surly expression. "And you, Kevin? Did you have a good week?"
He shrugged and huffed, retreating into his chilly demeanor as if the week hadn't happened at all. It stung a bit, but he was a kid, grappling with the back-and-forth between parents. It couldn't be easy.
The parents' voices rose before falling silent altogether. Jensen walked away from Daneel, shaking his head, and approached Katie and Kevin, attempting a smile. "Come on, guys. Time to get in the car."
We waved goodbye as they drove off, and I couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness seeing Katie and Jensen look so crestfallen. They weren't my family yet, but I felt a deep emotional tug.
Once the car was out of sight, Jensen sat on the stairs, and I joined him quickly. He stared out at the road, jaw clenched, fists tight with some inner turmoil.
"Jensen?" I whispered, catching his attention.
He turned towards me, managing a sad smile. "I'm good. It's just a lot sometimes."
I nodded understandingly, squeezing his hand tightly. "Well, why don't we do something today? Get out of the house a bit?"
He smiled, the first genuine one all morning. "Yeah. Let's do it."
After looking up things to do, Jensen suggested we visit the beachside market. It boasted kiosks and stands with handmade items, something I was excited to explore.
We parked on the street, his hand finding mine immediately. Jensen was never shy about affection in the right moments. With his kids around, it was innocent; just the two of us, it was constant and comforting.
As we strolled down the pier, I marveled at the beautiful booths displaying an array of handmade goods—henna art, handmade bags, clothing, and more. It felt like walking through an art exhibit, each stall captivating my attention.
Jensen chuckled softly, drawing my gaze. "What?" I asked nervously.
He smirked, pulling me close. "You're adorable. That's what."
My cheeks flushed at the compliment, Jensen never holding back his admiration. He didn't realize how much those words meant to me. I didn't feel like someone who belonged beside a celebrity like him, but he made me feel otherwise.
We continued down the boardwalk, stopping at each booth. Jensen paused at a display of handmade gemstone necklaces while I spotted something intriguing at the adjacent booth—a handmade beanie with "COD" embroidered on it, Call of Duty.
"I'm not sure if Kevin would go for it, but..."
He turned me to face him, a wide grin on his face. "He'd love it."
I purchased the beanie and were about to leave when giggling caught my attention. Two girls from a nearby booth were whispering and giggling, eyeing Jensen like he was a celebrity cutout.
I glanced at Jensen, who seemed unbothered, unaware of the giggles or the fingers being pointed his way, and then I remembered. He's a celebrity-this is normal for him.
We started to walk back down the boardwalk when their high pitched screams stopped us in our tracks, the girls from before rushing over, stopping only inches from Jensen.
"Jensen! Oh my god! Can we get a picture please?"
Jensen turned towards me apologetically, but I shrugged it off with a polite smile. I knew this could have happened, I knew he was a celebrity, I just forgot. I didn't realize how intense this could be. How does he handle this?
After snapping a few photos for the girls, I handed back their phone. Insecurities started swallowing me, watching their perfect smiles, beautiful clothing and sun-kissed skin, and than there was me. I wasn't the type anyone would expect to see with a celebrity. Anxiety crept in, wondering why Jensen chose me.
I passed the phone back and started walking down the boardwalk, my anxiety rising with every step, the air in my lungs squeezing tight as my mind continued it's torture.
He caught up as I walked ahead, his hand gently resting on my back. "Hey... Are you okay?"
I nodded, forcing a smile that didn't quite reach my eyes. Panic swirled inside me, doubts echoing loudly.
Your not enough. Your fooling yourself by thinking he would EVER want to be with you. Jensen deserves better. He doesn't find you attractive. You're nothing.
"Honey?" Jensen whispered, stopping me and looking into my eyes, concern etched on his face.
I swallowed hard, a raspy cough escaping me, breathing fast. "Okay... okay, deep breaths," Jensen coached gently, his touch comforting.
I hated it. I hated that he was staring at me like this. I hated that I was ruining everything with my stupid mind. I hated that he had to take care of me. I hated that I wasn't good enough for him.
His hand was gentle yet firm on my arm, leading me to the stairs on the pier to get some privacy. I shakingly sat down, throwing my head in my hands to avoid whatever pity look he was offering me.
"Honey. Please talk to me, what's going on?"
Great job Y/N, now your worrying him for no reason.
"Jensen... you don't need to... I'll be okay," I managed between breaths, but the fear and sadness in my eyes were evident.
"Why are you saying this?" he asked softly, tilting his head, eyes searching mine.
I shook my head, tears streaming down. "Because... I'm not worth it... I don't fit in your world, Jensen Ackles and... I'm just me."
He took my hand, tilting my chin to meet his gaze. A soft smile graced his lips as he spoke, his eyes firm. "Says who?"
"Everybody." I raised my voice, the anxiety rising each moment. "Society. You seen those girls, I'm nothing compared to them. Their sun kissed skin, beautiful outfits and model like faces. I'm not like that at all."
He nodded and moved in front of me, holding my hands tightly. "You're right. Your not like those girls, that's why I like you. I love that even though you've been here for a while, you still have light skin, I love that I can clearly see the sun spots and freckles on your face, I love that you don't spend hours in the mirror putting makeup on, you just instantly look gorgeous. What you look like doesn't determine your worth but if it did, trust me your more than worth it."
I rolled my eyes and gained the courage to stand, my thoughts spiralling. "You don't need to say that."
He moved quickly, grabbing my arm and spinning me around until I was nestled tightly against him, his hand softly urging my head to rest on his chest.
"You are more than enough. You've never demanded anything from me. You gave me a second chance when I didn't deserve it. You've helped me countless times without expecting anything in return. And you connect with my kids so well—Kevin won't admit it, but he likes you. You've made an effort to play video games with him, to do what he enjoys. Katie takes up a lot of time, and I worry he feels left out, but you see him. You effortlessly balance everything, without seeking praise."
I wrapped my arms around him, holding him tightly, feeling him ground me. He understood me better than anyone.
"You will always be more than enough for me. You're the one I want to be with. Those other girls? They're not beautiful to me. You are beautiful. Naturally, flawlessly gorgeous. Just look at yourself... You take my breath away, honey."
Jensen gently lifted my face towards his, kissing me with a passion I'd never known before. Our bodies pressed together, warmth enveloping us. His hands moving to my hair, pulling me impossibly closer, making sure that I knew he meant what he said.
Each pause for breath left us gasping, caught in a whirlwind of emotions. We were falling in love, or perhaps we already had.
If he could love me like this, then maybe, just maybe, I truly was enough.
