Around the time For Rent and Lovestruck came out, I realized there are not many elder townies uploaded so I created some. Ready to be moved into a retirement community, woo some widowers, or whatever else your save may require.

I tend to play in CAS and make townies when I want to play The Sims, but don't want to play The Sims. This first group was made well over a year ago, but I updated them for Lovestruck and finally shared them on the gallery. If they show up in your games, I'd love to see what they get up to!

I made over EA's Parikh family! I think they have turned out as my favorites for this decade! Karan, Raj, Simran, and Karishma.

Also made over EA sims Sophia Jordan, Babs L'Amour, Cassidy Purdue, Ollie Purdue, and Andre DaSilva. The lore is that Ollie and Sophia had a fling and Andre was also a rival for her affection. Later, Babs, Cassidy, Ollie, and Andre formed a band call WooWho! Babs and Ollie later married. I speed ran all this EA lore when creating them, so relationships and milestones should be accurate.

(It's these guys, if you didn't know who I meant)

The other families are all my creation:

The Chang family: Tracy, Sue, Kimberly with Whiskers the cat, Russ, and Danny.

The Wilkinson family: Charmaine, Andre, Ron, Yolanda, and Antoine.

The Soto family: Cristina, Anita, Esteban, and Blanca

The Patterson family: Valeria, Kevin, Gary, Sandra, and Mark. Fun fact they are the first decades townie family I ever created. They are also made over and renamed sims from the very first family I ever played in Sims 4.

Meet the Jorgensen family:

Peaches, Polly, Linda with Theresa, Allen, and Craig. Fun fact - this is the second townie decades family I ever made.

Meet the Hudson family:

Cheryl, Marcus with mom Annette, Ralph, and Denise. I did not intend for them to color coordinate so well, but I liked it the end result so it stuck.

Meet the Bui family:

Faye, Cindy, and Leon

Meet the Torres family:

Victor, Rafael with dad Jose, Rita, and Paloma.

And because I got carried away:

Meet Dale Smalley and Leslie Cobb. They're not a couple, I just felt like making a couple of hippie-ish sims to be townies.

June Kay and Steven, who were EA created sims when the Sims 4 base game was released. Here made over to be townies in the 1960s in my game.

I plan to make another family or 2 from the 1940s eventually, but here’s the 3 uploaded to the gallery so far. All the men have a military outfit from the Strangerville pack as a secondary outfit since I originally envisioned them as military buddies for my decades heir.

I mentioned in a previous post that I had a project going of making couples/families for the Decades Challenge using no CC. Meet the families of the 1890s!

Edith and Jasper Mason

Camila, Ana Luisa, and Pedro Marquez

Yan, Xiulan, and Shen Li (*I know that Chinese naming conventions place the family name first- but for purposes of family tree and how EA lineage works, I went with the western naming convention)

Mary and William Smith - my original Decades founders years ago. Not as period accurate, but dressed less fancy than the other families. 

All of these sims have been dressed time period appropriately for all outfit categories. Use them as you wish! Enjoy!

Finding 1920s looking clothes using only EA items was HARD, hence only 2 families this decade. This was also the first decade I routinely began including children because my kids needed some friends!

The 1930s was the other decade I really struggled to use EA content that was appropriate for the 30s. If we get more content that has a 1930s vibe to it, I’ll potentially make more families!
